A great start to the day.. Sunday morning spent with my 4 year old and baby looking for geocaches. We swapped some goodies over that we found in the cache. We also had a great time checking out the train ‘cemetery’. There was a surprise visitor in the geocache (a spider) who was released
Thanks for the cache CoxFamily7310.
It was a lovely morning for a stroll with the two GeoGSP's so headed to the Don Reserve to find some caches. This was a neat little spot with some interesting relics nearby. Cache was found in good condition.

Found with The X-Trailers as we walked the trail today. Loved the old rail stock closeby. A fav point today. Cache all ok. TFTC
Had a great time walking the trails here today, our last day in Tassie . We appreciate the cache owners maintaining their caches for us to find

On an adventure with CharCharles 78 to get to our Milestone of 75. Didn’t know this area existed. Cool cache.
Thankfully no cold blooded scaly critters were unearthed along with this cache! Our four legged furry friend failed to help ferret this one out so we had to do it ourselves TFTC TNLNSL
Thanks for taking us to the train grave yard. Being raised at now extinct railway stations, this brought back same great memories. The cache is in very good condition, clean and dry and has lots of swaps in it.
Out with poodle enjoying the winter sunshine . Thanks for bringing me back here still lots of goodies to be found.
Quite a graveyard there. Just missed the burning of nearby. Could see the cache out on the open from over 10m away. Hid a bit better

Lovely little walk to get the final two caches in the don reserve area I have left
TFTC. Lots of swaps. Cool location. Bit sad to see all the old trains just sitting here though.
The container has been smashed on the rails, the remainder is sitting on the lid. TFTC
Thanks for this cache and all the treasure in it. I work with kids in therapy and took a couple of items that will be well loved by many kids to come. Loved exploring the wreckage and wandering through here
A treasure trove for the littleies, this one!
A spot of caching while waiting for my son training at the rugby club. Enjoyed the waltz down here. But c'mon Tassie! It's supposed to be spring! Thanks for hiding

Found easy while bird watching I spotted a rare white bird I believe it’s a white goss hawk
Many years after finding the original Don Steamers it was nice to revisit this interesting location. Startled a photographer in the process! TFTC

Out and about caching with whitewebbs on a lovely summers day. We enjoyed the walk along the walkways. Some were harder to find than others.
This has been a big day caching. A lot of muggles were out and about enjoying Australia Day
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We decided to go on a walk around the sawdust bridge track to find some caches. We had our eyes on four caches. We managed to find three but the fourth got a DNF.
This was a big cache with lots of swaps. Easy to find and retrieve. There were alot of old trains around the area of the cache. Got some good photos of them before it started raining. Thanks for the cache.

This was our first cache for the day. A nice and interesting spot here. Great to have a look at the old trains that once were something. The cache was easily found and signed.
Today nettieknows and I headed down to Devonport to go for a nice walk from Don river railway up to Coles beach and collect the new caches along here. Overall we walked around 7km in about 3hours. A very nice walk and great to see a dofferent park of Devonport.
Thanks for the cache and bringing us to the area.

The weather today was a bit hit and miss and hard to predict. Lady membsec wasn’t feeling very well and tried coffee and even food to see if that would help but it didn’t so we had a choice of staying in the car and wait until we could get into our accommodation or continue to battle on with geocaching. At least geocaching was keeping her mind off being unwell .
Great size container and a quick find.

A Day off and Geo Kid E's exams are over so it was decided to have a go at the caches around Devonport that had sprung up since the last time we were there - and so many there were.
So we set off at 6 am and returned at 10.15 pm pretty exhausted. The trip included 67 finds and 5 DNF's and about 8 hours driving time.

Grabbed Trackable
What a great sized cache and a good hiding spot.

After a long debate this morning [will we, won't we?] we checked the weather forecast and decided that it was today or not till next week. So we loaded the bikes and headed in to Devonport to tackle this series.
Mr Beetle waited with the bikes on the main track while I bush bashed my way to GZ destroying quite a few spiderwebs along the way.
Think this one was the furthest from a main track that we tackled today.
But once at GZ a very well stocked cache was quickly found.
Glad we didn't have our grandson with us, who often comes 'treasure' hunting with us as he would have had to inspect every swap in there.
Thanks.

We visited yesterday and left a trackable. We live this area and am planning to bring the kids back here so I can do some family portraits for the grandparents for Christmas. Tftc.
Found with LittleBoo17 and CachecrewJack
PS LittleBoo17 was very excited to find a larger well filled cache. He decided it was the perfect place for our trackable and added to the stash also. Thanks again.
