TFTC and a nice quick find while staying with friends in Griffith. Im visiting from the Hunter Valley near Newcastle
Jumped in with Roostaman for a drive around the Riverina, visiting a variety of caches. The weather was warm, and excellent for caching.A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. Many thanks for placing this cache, jameskomodo, for us and others to find.
Found it on a fine Spring day with The Drovers.A full day trip out to Griffith via a few detours. Found in good condition and no muggles around. Thanks for the cache jameskomodo, ***Roostaman***
Wow what a great cache, took longer than it should have, and such fun to find. Buddy the geodog helped us with this one. Found on April 20, 2024. # 8989
Heading back home to Adelaide after attending the Capital Mega bash event. I made a few detours to find some caches in new LGAs. Quick find here. All good. Thank you jameskomodo, for placing Bring ya' snags! for the geocaching community.# # #14799 # #
Almost to our destination and this was a planned cache stop. It took a whole lot more searching than it should until I spotted it.Thanks jameskomodo
We're heading east from one Mega in Adelaide to the next in Canberra and pulled in here for lunch. The nearby cache had nothing to do with our decision A favorite point because this is my favorite type of container! Thanks for find #5784TNLN
This was a fun family experience took us a while but we finally got it! Didnt have a pen with us. Thanks for the fun
A loose plan was hatched for a 3-week road trip with RoamingHowie to explore locations in Country NSW wed not been to before and of course, find a cache here and there.DAY TWO: Exploring Griffith and Cocoparra National Park. A quaint park for a cache. The size threw us for a bit. But after reading some logs, refocussed on smaller spaces. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, jameskomodo ~~
It was time for the traditional post Christmas road trip. The stockings were emptied of presents, feasts were devoured and great times were had with family and friends. Now to get away!Day 2: Exploring Griffith and surrounds. This one took a bit of searching as we were originally looking for the wrong size. Thanks to previous logs we discovered the smaller hide. Thanks jameskomodo for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. The [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) is on 18 February 2024.Looking for caches to find when visiting Victoria? Why not check out the geocaching lists available on the [Geocaching Victoria Website](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/). There are plenty to choose from including all of the previous nominees and winners of the Victorian Cache of the Year Awards.
On the way home from 2 weeks away at Cliffhanger 4wd Event and the clutch on the truck gave up the ghost, si what do you do when you are broken down 1000km from home? Get a hire car and go do some cachesThis definitely took some find's. I'm glad we resorted to previous logsTftc
Day five of setting off north with BettyBoo3747 and geodoggies.
The weather in Beechworth has been far too damp and cold for caching!
Today we started in Barellen, drove to Griffith for a few caches, and returned to where we started.
A lovely blue sky, sunny day.
It is a lovely park and very clean BBQs. The history and maps on the bridge were interesting too.
However, it is NOT a sistema container and can not possibly contain an pencil.
BB replaced the full logsheet.
Thanks, Robmc.

#21187. Day 5 of our escape into NSW. Another day touring around the area. This time a trip from Barellan to Griffith and back again. Started the day with a DNF and almost ended the day the same way but went on to find one more cache. Managed to find 13 and have 2 DNFs.
This was a lovely place to spend way too mucjh time searching for "A small cliptop container similar to a Sistema". Well no it is not that any more so we wasted a very long time searching for the incorrectly sized container. Finally Rob discovered the hiding place and then of course we had to replace the log sheet that was too full for us to add our names.
Thanks jameskomodo

In need of owner maintenance.
The log is full/wet and we were unable to sign it so we took a picture to document our find.

Cache 9621 on 28 Jan 2023.
On a road trip from CBR to Griffith to do some wine tasting with geo-man and geo-daughter over the long weekend. Finding a few extra caches in between wine tastings - I am the driver for today! It is brutal outside, 40 degrees, so only park and grabs at the moment!
Took a little while to spot it as my coords were showing a slightly different spot, but I knew it when I saw it. Log needs replacement!
Thanks jameskomodo for the cache and the fun!

Found this very sneaky hide eventually...did not sign and as already stated log paper very full
Couldn’t find it the first time but came back for a look and was a easy find TFC
Found it. Could not sign the log as it was too small and couldn't get it out of the bolt.
This is a beautiful little spot indeed! After a bit of searching we made the find, we managed to squeeze our names onto the log but it is now full and in need of replacement.
Thank you for the cache!
Thank you for the cache!
Out caching with Mrwhiskers76 today, upon arrival we weren’t sure what we were initially looking for. While doing a loop around, I look over and Mrwhiskers76 is filling out the log..! He strikes again.
The log definitely needs to be replaced.
Love the camo! Thank you for the cache.

Wow! Cool micro cache for us beginners. Took a while to find it, but man, so clever! We were very excited when realizing what it was. Well fodden in plain sight.
Heading home via Yenda to do some birding and for a couple of caches. This was the first - checked where it might be first then went wider. Read some logs to realise a micro now and back to where I started and spotted the cache pretty quickly. Log signed and on my way.

Pretty hard to find, definitely not the container in the container it says it is. Good luck! TFTC!!!
TFTC jameskomodo for your cache Bring ya' snags!. We had overnighted at Lake Wyangan. After a slow start this morning we went on a tour of discovery around Griffith with geocaching as our guide. Unless otherwise mentioned everything found in good order with good co-ordinates.

We had planned a road trip to Queensland to visit family in 2021, but our travel plans were stalled due to border closures during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that the world was trying to get back to a semi normal state, we decided to have another go at getting away from the cold and head up north for some sunshine and warmth. Day 1 of our trip took us through many regions of NSW where we picked up some caches on our way through, and this was one of them. Apologies for the generic log, but thank you to all the cache owners for the placements.
Found It!
No snags getting cooked here today so I searched the structure I found the sneaky cache hide!

Looked prettyich straight at it and it didn't click.
Searched in all the wrong places before stopping and then realising my mistake.

Griffiths Trip Day 2. I packed up my car for a two day drive out to Griffiths and back. Today I continued from near Narrandera to Leeton, Griffiths, Yanga and then Temora for a roadside camp after running out of day light. I visited a wide collection of caches plus a very rough run up to a hilltop cache.
I knew this had changed a bit, but it has changed more than I was expecting. It is now a micro and the terrain rating is correct. I had one look and failed, than had lunch and had another look. second time a charm. Looking when hungry never goes well.
Thanks for the cache jameskomodo

It's been an adventure today, mud, prickles, now time to clean up and have some lunch! Great shady place to stop for a bite to eat.
Was a bit worried about the previous DNF’s, but turns out it was all good with this one! Found the replaced micro container in a T1 spot after a short search thanks to NoTomorrow’s log. Logbook in great condition too, only half filled! Thanks for showing me this impressive little park, was surprised by the clean supplies provided for the bbq, someone obviously maintains this on a regular basis!
Thanks for bringing me here!

Definitely not systematic, or like it at all. I had to read past logs to find it. I think this may have suffered a bit of cache creep as it wasn't wheelchair accessible.
Being one for inclusiveity I may be guilty of making it a T1 again. I hope I don't upset anyone by it.
Beautiful spot. Love the BBQ toolbox idea.

We looked high and low for 15 minutes but couldn’t find it. We could see evidence of where it may have been hidden up in the beams. Would love the owner to come back and check. Maybe the muggles have removed it and ruined a good find. The cat didn’t turn up to help us unfortunately
Great bbq area. We were snagged until we read other logs. Cache is not a sistema but a lot smaller. You don’t need to go on grass but no way could anyone in a wheelchair find this. Tftc
Tankengine and I were traveling homeward bound. The last stretch of our trip today and should be home tonight. The over all trip was very good. Full of good food, good wine, good company and good caches. Thanks Tankengine for an awesome holiday.
This cache: Hmm not sure how this is a T1?? But a good cache none the less. Tftc jameskomodo!!!

Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 on our SA Road Trip! So nice that the borders are slowly starting to open! Thanks jameskomodo T1? Would love to see someone in a wheelchair get that!
21,671. Found with minniek during our October Long Weekend Outback Adventure.
Day 2 of our October Long Weekend Outback NSW trip. After packing up camp and having brekkie at the Narrandera Bakery (a must do when in the area) we headed off for more caches. This was the next on the list for me. A nice quick find. While we were signing the log the resident cat came out expecting to be fed ! I think it was disappointed in us and went off in a huff.

A long weekend brings with it a weekend of camping and caching. fitzy_1965 and I decided to do a loop from Goulburn out to Naranderra, Griffith, Condoblin and back home so I could pick up the last few counties out that way.
Up nice and early, packed and on the road to Griffith via Leeton. Nice quick find whilst being watched by a friendly cat.

Definitely not wheelchair accessible or a sistema container these days! Found eventually when we broadened our minds. Tftc
Found at 1:53 PM GAFF1.
What a nice set up - and it seems the epi centre for all of the big wineries.
We could camp here if allowed - and then visit the various wineries.
Cache found without any drama and then found that it had a new log sheet and it actually was a new cache container altogether! Had a lot of trouble imprinting our name on the "paper" btw.
Thanks jameskomodo.

Port Macquarie heading to Millicent.
Todays trip was from Bathurst - West Wyalong for a coupke of days to attend a funeral, no caching done here as we had found them all on a previous trip.
We did stop along the way at numerous small towns & locations to find a few caches. This is a great way to break up the trip.
West Wyalong to Griffith, stopped to find a few caches along the way.
We have now set up camp at the Willows
Spending the afternoon touring the area following the caching trail.
Picked up a TB from this cache. I can see how it would be a great spot fo a pic-nic.
Thanks for placing this cache jameskomodo

Checked the cache today. All in good condition and plenty of room in the log. Still has the hamster trackable.
I started the day by doing the new ‘Locationless Labcaches’ (https://project-gc.com/Home/PGC-AdventureLab?fbclid=IwAR3ZTMW6QWWPQZPrhuRvURy_U2FtJxVeZPAV8a7-HsQnsvsI7orZ_rwqJfk) that were created by Project GC. After making those five finds, I decided on going for a drive. With a few FTF’s up for grabs in and around Griffith plus a couple of other caches which have popped up since the last time I was there, I headed out. I ended up with 12 finds, two DNF’s and a NA. I also enjoyed visiting all the locations that today’s caching took me plus many different hides that made me think in creative ways. TB visit on all found caches and on some of the smaller logbooks/sheets I signed as 23/1 JM. Thank you to all CO’s of the caches I found today for allowing them to bring me and the rest of the caching community much joy. TFTC ‘s even the ones I didn’t find.
P.S. The magnet that was attached to the container is now glued to the metal beam. TLC is needed here ASAP before muggles find the container.
