StreetWalkerNZ and I left Nuriootpa by 7:30am to head back to the Anna Tommy series which we had started on Friday. We were hidden from the road while searching for this cache, and a ute came past very slowly. We wondered if it was a local farmer coming to check out why a little Suzuki Swift was parked on the road with no one in sight. TFTC.

After completing the nearby bike series, we drove to Nuriootpa. After completing the Barossa trail, we set our sights on the Anna Tommy series.FurfacesLL & Rapidlywild had previously done them so we headed of with the other teams. We stamped the log as 'The Mob' to save space and time.'The Mob' this time included:- feathertop, GoodLook, TheDame, and ourselves.Signed and replaced as found. Many thanks for placing this cache, addersbear, for us and others to find.

06-Apr-24
It was Day 3 and our large group of cachers known collectively as The Mob were ready to tackle the Anna Tommy caches. Members included The Drovers, Goodlook The Dame and myself. We had a Mob stamp.A clever series of caches that were solved via a website quite some time ago. After a morning in the Baroosa we crossed in the Gawler region and tackled thi series. Most hides along dirt roads but some along bitumen roads with lots of roadside rubbish.Nice ontainers tethered to bushes and trees and easy to spot. All in good condition too.Logs stamped as The MobThank you so much for the series!SmileSmileSmile

Lots of learning on the trail. I was today years old when i realised I didn't have to put my hand in the hole, I could extract by using the wire! After starting the day doing the first 10 in the PATOGs I found 3 more at the Gawler end before attempting to reconstruct Anna, or Tommy. Good to be caching over this way again. I will put specific cache-related comments as I post. I seemed to mostly sign in just behind NZ cacher bullertrout. I also signed alongside some geo-stamps which took up 4 or 5 lines. Sad to see so much fly-tipping on the quieter back roads, some wasn't even dumped off the road but on it. A nice day to be out and about though. The last full day in town after my original plans to stay til Monday were changed. I had some admin stuff to tidy up before I could think about doing anything for myself so those were attended to via some messaging to and from NZ. I headed out for a walk along the cycleway besides the Expressway and managed a first few PATOG caches, esp nice now the weather has dropped to a much more palatable 19 -25 degrees for the daytime, yay. Following that it was back for some more work stuff before heading out to Gawler to head around the delightful Anna Tommy series of caches (and collateral extras). I was lucky that a recently made acquaintance was able to help me with the series of solves, thanks sooooo much for that. Then it was time to cache in the richness and make the finds, I was not disappointed. And so South Australia, so long and thanks for all the cache(s). I think this March will be my most bountiful month since I started caching, not bad considering I missed out on 3 days, by choice, and today is only 20th of the month. Alas my NZ pickings are slim so back to a more sedentary pace of finds. One last time, thanks to all the COs whose finds make this game so awesome.

In the area mainly to complete the Anna Tommy series. This was #26 of 44.Rented a bike at the Gawler Visitor Info Centre. Did 36 km total. And always into the wind. Took me about three hours. No problems here.

I got invited to tag along with NZ_B and MrMcgoo along the Anna Tommy series. A nice break from the bike series. One of the owners had heard some maintenance was needed here so I kept some notes for a maintenance run next week. Turned out to be more maintenance than the CO was expecting, but that's fine.Everything good here!

Today Mr Mc-goo and I are completing the Anna Tommy series. It was hot yesterday so we decided to complete the Unicorns. So we are here today with the Seagnoid before we head to Adelaide and fly home to New Zealand on Wednesday. Some caches will be good for the 81 grid challenge and for challenging module of the [GC30AD8](http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC30AD8) DGSC Challenge (West Coast) challenge in NZ - known as the Doctorate of Geocaching Science. Each log is signed MMNZ.Mr-Mcgoo and I are visiting Adelaide for the Mega GCA1DNA The Great Leap Forward on the 29 February. We are finding caches for the fun of finding them, or we are targeting specific caches - puzzles we have solved and caches that will help us complete challenges. Of course, there will be lots of laughter, no doubt at my expense .A huge thank you to all the COs who have placed the caches we find and log today.Kia ora rawa atu for the cache opted-out user.

Having solved these puzzles and learnt a lot about anatomy in the process quite some time ago it was time to complete the process by finding the caches. To save space the log was signed QANVT. I appreciate the great effort you have made in placing and maintaining these caches for our challenge and enjoyment.

I did enjoy doing these puzzles. Learn something every day as a geocacher! We are using the Acronym QANVT to cover participant from all states. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 1st March 2024. Started with the Barossa geoart and collected a few other local caches on the way. Moved on now to the Anna Tommy geoart with a slightly smaller group of people, after a fabulous treat at the Tanunda bakery. Tftc addersbear

Plans were made to attend the SA mega although our plans changed as both of our team couldn't go due to other commitments. So with that being sorted we booked everything and only made it a short visit to SA this time. Flew into SA this morning with Rapidlywild and being neither one of us is a fan of city caching we headed out to do this Anna Tommy series that we have had solved for quiet awhile now. Feeling back at home on the dirt roads although a bit of a rougher ride not being in a 4WD but our hire car still did the trick. All caches were found safe and sound unless mentioned and all logs were stamped. Thanks for the puzzle series and hides addersbear and thanks for a fun short stint away caching Rapidlywild.

28-Feb-24
Plans were in place with FurfacesLL #1 to attend the SA single day mega. So bookings for flights, accommodation and car hire were made and off we went. Flew in this morning and our first target for today was the Anna Tommy series. Have had this series solved for quite a while now, however we never seem to be in this area to do them. We made sure that changed today. We made our way around the dirt roads, getting our hire car very dirty, but hey, its SA, plenty of dirt roads. We enjoyed collecting each cache and kept an eye out for the info we needed for the final. All logs were stamped with the FFLL & RWLD stamp as we went. Thanks for the puzzle series and cache placements addersbear and thanks to FFLL for another awesome couple days of caching away from home. Looking forward to the next trip.

Anna Tommy - Cheek4.0/2.0 Small Mystery Cache Back in Adelaide after 14 years. Here for The Great Leap Forward Mega and catching up with awesome caching friends and revisiting Adelaide where we lived for 16 beautiful years! Had a wonderful time reminiscing and admiring wonderful changes in the State, meeting friendly cachers and helpful COs and finding quality caches, high D/Ts and old ones.Thank you for the cache addersbear.

26-Feb-24
Solving this series has been an ongoing process for many months.Lots of late nights, anatomy that I dont think we will ever remember after this, and sometimes a little frustration. In the end, we had most of them solved, and so we were able to then JetSki a couple of solves that remained elusive to us. A great day out with E Smiley. Thanks Domsky

24-Feb-24
It is with regret to hear Anna was blown apart at the annual puff pastry cook off. It is speculated the puff was tampered with by an envious co-cooker hell bent on making Annas last years win, her last. With the constabulary arresting the puff criminal, our ghoulish task to retrieve Annas various body parts and reassemble at a secret locality for planting. The BOLD07 encountered Annas protective detail which included concentrations of bees (native and European), woolly bleaters set to ambush the car from a shady nook, irate land folk with a distrust of city slickers and a couple of hares hanging loose in the paddock. All of concern individually but terrifying when combined. The body parts when combined made a very unusual person. So the following gives an insight into the real Anna T:- always plenty of cheek and now there's almost none to get back Many thanks to addersbear for bringing Anna back together.

GC8G64P Anna Tommy - CheekDown in Adelaide from Brisbane for the leap year mega. After arriving today we headed north east to our accommodation in Waikerie grabbing caches along the way.One of our team was fantastic at solving these I think I only added 1 or 2 to the total. A great piece of Geo art and a nice final. Signed as BOLD 7 to save space in the log. TFTC opted-out user

24-Feb-24
Continuing with the South Australian caching tour and the mad collection of caches in the state. There is so much to do and in such close proximity. Today it was leaving Adelaide and venturing north through Gamber and then a little east to grab caches in Waikerie to start the onslaught on the bike series of caches and locals. There is always time for one more cache and that seemed to be the theme for the road trip today. We left the airport and started our trip. Some great variety of caches today and some fun along the way. We got to see a huge moon a rising with some awesome pics. Thanks to all the COs for the hides and caches we found today, awesome caches. Caches were signed BOLD 7 It was fun doing this series of caches, it was hot and the vegetation was harsh on the skin. If you are not bleed you are not caching hard enough. Thanks for the series

24-Feb-24
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday.

24-Feb-24
With our group BOLD7 entertaining ourselves as we head north to expire the country. Fab day collecting all sorts including some well preserved oldies. Thanks to the SA cachers for awesome variety of caches.

18-Nov-23
What a change of plans for this weekend. We were expecting to be in Bendigo and here we are in the Gawler area and then into North Adelaide to attend a CITO. Caching is like a box of chocolates you never know what you will get or where you will be. We had a few DNF's today, all the caches that we found were in good order. All in all we had a great day. 13-Aug-23
This was an interesting set of puzzles. While many of the parts of the body were known by name, their exact location was not as well known. So relating the body part to a particular number from the diagrams was a worthwhile exercise.

These puzzles were solved some time ago but until today, we have not had the opportunity to look for the caches. After visiting Hamley Bridge earlier in the morning, we focussed on the Anna Tommy series for the remainder of the day. We were fortunate to find all the caches in the series except the bonus cache (we could only find five of the six pieces of required data and it was too late in the day to guess the missing values and check each of the locations). The soursobs hindered searching at times but at least they were dry and we remained dry as well.

Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in reasonable condition. Thanks addersbear for the cache, the series and interesting puzzles.

12-Aug-23
Such a cool series - interesting theme, fun to work out the coords, and a fun drive along the backroads here. All caches found in the series, however some took more than 5 mins due to very thick soursobs - sometimes i was standing over the cache but still unable to see it. Coords were accurate too.
Thanks for a great series!

12-Jun-23
Dirt roads and a bit of water makes for a fun day out.

I started this trail last year but didn’t have time to complete it. I returned today to finish the trail.

All caches were found without problems which is testament to the great work maintaining this series.

I might have missed it on my way through but I never found the south minutes of the bonus cache. But I plotted the potential final locations and managed to work out the correct location.

Thanks for the cache addersbear.

Southern Autumn adventure Day 44. Mid North section of SA trip Day 15. Gawler Day 3. The weather was quite a bit better then the last few days, and it was time to get out on the bike trails to do some PATOG caches. I managed to go too far for my poor scooter and had to walk the last three km's back to the car. Other than that today's section of trail went pretty well, much better than sections later in the week. After that exercise was over, I went onto some back roads for solved puzzles and other miscellaneous caches I was able to get to before I ran out of energy.

Decoding these Anna Tommy cache puzzles has been a real challenge over the past few weeks. I owe a lot of thanks to Domsky for their persistence, where I give up after a few tries at each one. At least out on the road I was able to locate each one I looked for today, and most of them are still attached. It is very dusty on the roads, even though it rained yesterday.

Thanks for the cache addersbear

Nice Series this one. Learnt heaps in the solving of the puzzles. Think I could become a doctor by the training I got on this series. Anyone needing a small procedure done? I'm ready to put into practice what I learnt. Smile

Great set of cache containers, all in good condition and a lot of thought and time gone into these caches.

Quick find and signed the log.

Day sixteen of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
With a crappy forecast we set off to Gawler to do the Anna Tommy series and some shopping.
The morning wasn't too bad, but we still got soaked shoes and pants due to the long very wet grass and Oxalis. This combination also made the finding difficult.
Enjoyed solving the puzzles, they were interesting.
The roads were mostly in good condition but fairly busy today.
A nice collection of caches.
Thanks, Robmc.

31-Jul-22
#19321. Day 16 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. Our 2nd day staying in Tanunda (and already we have extended our 3 night stay to 5). With a wet forecast for the day we decided caching by car was preferable to caching by bike and I think that was the right choice.

We enjoyed solving the puzzles before leaving home - interesting subject matter, but time consuming too. Loved that the final placement also provided geoart - very clever.

I certainly think we earned these 4D caches but not sure what has been the hardest, the solving of the puzzles or the finding of the caches - probably the finding of the caches actually. At this time of year calf-high, wet oxalis is NOT a cacher's friend. We were soaked through by the time we had spent 3 hours on the hunt.

A few need a maintenance check and I have made notes on each of those.

Thanks addersbear

After a long walk along the NEXY with Mattycat we still had some daylight left after the cat headed off, decided to tackle some more of this trail until it got dark or the expected rain arrived, sunset won out. All caches were found in excellent condition and the puzzles clever, once we got into the swing of them we soon had all the solutions prior to our visit today

Headed out with my daughter, youngest grandy and the dogs for a little caching after solving the puzzles. (Which has been great fun this week!). Our intention had been to park up and walk the round, but after an hour of speeding cars on gravel roads, we called it a day. This will need to be a drive by caching adventure at another time. Thank you very much for the time spent putting this series together addersbear. Loved your idea for preventing cache creep. Tftc

Out near Gawler today targeting the Anna Tommy series. Had a bit of trouble working out the puzzle as we haven’t done too many, but after a PAF, we understood what we were doing and worked them all out.

All caches are hidden pretty well and in good condition today. Thanks for placing and looking after this series Addersbear, TFTC.

Well where do I start with this series? Was it the creepy dolls in he background? Or searching everywhere but the right place for a list? Or maybe it was the reference to 1810 which preceded European settlement in South Australia by 26 years? In regards to the latter I am now much more knowledgeable about the practice of grave robbery, the work of Nikolay Ivanovich Pirogov and the Anatomy Act of 1832. None of this was useful though. When the right location was finally found, most of this series was solved easily, whereas others were a bit harder to pin down.

I had grabbed a dozen of these caches a few months back at the start of winter when the grass was green and did a good job of obscuring the lower placed caches. Today, the grass was dry which made the search for many quite a bit simpler and all other caches in the series (apart from the final Anna Tommy were collected). Not many passing motorists about today although a few farmers were using their Saturday afternoon to rake hay. TFTC.

After saving this series for an appropriate time, today was the day Big Grin.
We quickly found the majority of caches, a few ended up being hidden very well by either new growth, or wind having helped with the camo Red Face.

Thanks for another one Addersbear (see 'Temple' for main log).

Thanks AddersBear for this cache and the series. This is a cheeky one, I used the pull cord to get this one out. Great work on these cords by the way, very ingenious. Thanks for the cache, it was in good condition.

Gawler-bound to grab some more of this cool series today on Thursday 4 June 2020.

I did receive a hint on how to access on what was needed in order to solve the puzzles for this series [^]

Some of the names for parts of the anatomy are unpronouncable tongue-twisters to say the least ha ha Big Grin

Found quickly and SL with the grass still wet from the overnight dew [B)] Big Grin
The cache and contents are good and dry [^]

I had set about solving several of these puzzles when they were first published. Spent way to long on one particular body part that was never going to be correct, fortunately the CO/s rectified the error... phew!
Thank you for a puzzle I could actually solve. I was stoked to work it out for myself

A day of caching with hevwalker was on the cards and this series was the target. Both of us set about solving the rest of the body parts. Unlike any surgical operation... there was no precision used as we fumbled our way through the anatomy of Anna Tommy
All caches were found in good condition (unless duly noted by hevwalker - keeper of notes). Relevant info was noted as we sliced & diced our way through this series.

LiB & I decided on Friday night we would go out North to find the Anna Tommy Series of caches this Sunday so we sat up until the early morning solving them...
Grabbed some breakfast then headed out...the day was pleasant to begin with but turned chilly towards the end...
The containers were easily located and the clues obtained from the marked ones for the final destination...
WoW!!! who would have thought these roads would be so busy with traffic...even on the smaller ones...

So after 28 days of quarantine after I arrived back in Australia from the UK it was definitely time for a big caching day out.
Spent a while in hotel quarantine solving the newish Anna Tommy series so this seemed like the perfect group of caches to head to today. Added in a few trads to make for a full day of caching.
In the end found 55 caches and 2 dnf for the day. After doing not much for a month I was cream crackered by the end of the day.
It was a glorious day for caching, perfect winter day with sunshine and blue skies.
If I am honest I preferred solving the puzzles in comparison to the finds. The containers were a great size but found the clambering amongst bushes and under trees to be a lot of hard work. A lot of sour sobs, barbed wire, hidden wire fences, broken glass etc. But massively appreciated the time and effort the COs have gone to in placing this series, creating the puzzles, placing and maintaining the caches. Hopefully the wire cables will ensure there is no cache wander although at least 2 were no longer attached to their hosts. Obligatory blood ensued today.
TFTC and series and for keeping me busy whilst in quarantine.

Found during a caching trip with e.gregory1 for the day. The main aim was to complete the Anna Tommy puzzle series but we extended our foray to find a number of other caches around the Gawler area. It was a great day for caching, the weather cool and cloudy, and we managed to dodge the showers. Also chatted to a couple of friendly farmers along the way. Thanks for the puzzle and cache addersbear!

This cache was found on a trip to the Gawler area with FeatherWaite today. Our main aim was to complete the ‘Anna Tommy’ puzzle series, but we also took the opportunity to target some other selected puzzle and multi caches, and grabbed a few traditionals that we passed along the way.

We had a good day weather wise. Despite the threat of rain, it held off all day for us. We were a bit surprised at just how busy some of the back roads were, with a constant stream of passing traffic. A couple of local farmers also stopped for a chat and to see what we were up to. Apparently there has been quite a lot of theft and illegal dumping out this way of late.

I quite enjoyed this series. While most of the puzzles were reasonably straightforward, I found a few a bit more tricky. Likewise the hides - most were found very quickly but some took a bit more searching. The caches were all in reasonably good condition although a few had water in the outside containers. However the inner container and logbooks were fine.

All in all it was a very productive and enjoyable day out with around 60 finds in total and no DNFs.

Thanks addersbear for the puzzle and the cache.

Found with Team Waldron and other distinguished geocachers on a lovely Saturday morning. They were generally easy finds and we enjoyed the variation. It was good to get some caches before the Covid 19 shut down which will keep us of the roads for awhile. TFTS
