#24745. Day 2, phase 1 of the AT series. This phase involved finishing the sealed road we had made a start on (one cache) two days ago. Finding good parking was tricky during this phase (often we'd find an OK park midway between two caches, and walk to each while parked there. This was the last cache of phase 1. Coming back to finish this road on a weekend morning was a good call I think. TFTC.
StreetWalkerNZ and I left Nuriootpa by 7:30am to head back to the Anna Tommy series which we had started on Friday.Searched for this one unsuccessfully, so read through past logs hoping for some more info on the hide. That's when I noticed the CO's log about the cache being moved. The new co-ords put us across the road where the cache was a quick find. TFTC.

After a nearby event, doineedthis and I headed into the wilds of the Gawler Belt where we had solved a mystery or 40 and just had to find them Cool fact: Horses can hear a human heartbeat from 4 feet awayTFTC addersbearKeep smiling
Out with Jolly0 to complete this seriesBeans, beans, theyre good for your heart. Beans, beans, they make you fart Cache replaced with CO's permission
Logging with permission of the co-cache-host. I found a unique thing at GZ that only an actual visitor would know about. Have a pic if necessary. After starting the day doing the first 10 in the PATOGs I found 3 more at the Gawler end before attempting to reconstruct Anna, or Tommy. Good to be caching over this way again. I will put specific cache-related comments as I post. I seemed to mostly sign in just behind NZ cacher bullertrout. I also signed alongside some geo-stamps which took up 4 or 5 lines. Sad to see so much fly-tipping on the quieter back roads, some wasn't even dumped off the road but on it. A nice day to be out and about though. The last full day in town after my original plans to stay til Monday were changed. I had some admin stuff to tidy up before I could think about doing anything for myself so those were attended to via some messaging to and from NZ. I headed out for a walk along the cycleway besides the Expressway and managed a first few PATOG caches, esp nice now the weather has dropped to a much more palatable 19 -25 degrees for the daytime, yay. Following that it was back for some more work stuff before heading out to Gawler to head around the delightful Anna Tommy series of caches (and collateral extras). I was lucky that a recently made acquaintance was able to help me with the series of solves, thanks sooooo much for that. Then it was time to cache in the richness and make the finds, I was not disappointed. And so South Australia, so long and thanks for all the cache(s). I think this March will be my most bountiful month since I started caching, not bad considering I missed out on 3 days, by choice, and today is only 20th of the month. Alas my NZ pickings are slim so back to a more sedentary pace of finds. One last time, thanks to all the COs whose finds make this game so awesome.
In the area mainly to complete the Anna Tommy series. This was #10 of 44.Rented a bike at the Gawler Visitor Info Centre. Did 36 km total. And always into the wind. Took me about three hours. Signed a bone. And there was a green creature there too.
On a maintenance run - addersbear removed for maintenance - will return April. Not a cache essential to solving the puzzle
I had solved some of these but hadn't had time to solve them all before the trip to Austalia. And then I joined in with NZ_B and MrMcgoo (they signed as mmnz) and found a bunch, and now I am on a maintenance run with the CO to fix those that I identified had problems and to find the rest.A great drive around the back roads.
Today Mr Mc-goo and I have completed the grape series and are now spending the afternoon finding the Anna Tommy series. I enjoyed solving these puzzles in New Zealand initially to help two other kiwi cachers, but then I decided we would find them as well. Some will also be good for the 81 grid challenge and for challenging module of the [GC30AD8](http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC30AD8) DGSC Challenge (West Coast) challenge in NZ - known as the Doctorate of Geocaching Science. Each log is signed MMNZ.Mr-Mcgoo and I are visiting Adelaide for the Mega GCA1DNA The Great Leap Forward on the 29 February. We are finding caches for the fun of finding them, or we are targeting specific caches - puzzles we have solved and caches that will help us complete challenges. Of course, there will be lots of laughter, no doubt at my expense .A huge thank you to all the COs who have placed the caches we find and log today.Kia ora rawa atu for the cache opted-out user.
(9629) Today NZ_B and myself decided to complete the Magical Unicorn and Barossa series together with starting the Anna Tommy series. A warm day but we achieved our days targets. Signed the log as MMNZ.Thanks opted-out user for taking the time to place this and for bringing me here.
Travelled to Adelaide with friends for The Leap Year Event and my first trip this far south. Lots of Art to find now that we have the co-ords sorted and all logs signed as Unicorns which was RoddyC, hatzofff, snickersallen, grannysmith1947, patrol14 and Imbunda. We're having a ton of fun down here. TFTC
I was the Tasmanian Member of a group from Queensland, ACT, New South Wales and Victoria that decided to look for this series after having a snack at the Tanunda Bakery. Having solved these puzzles and learnt a lot about anatomy in the process quite some time ago it was time to complete the process by finding the caches. To save space the log was signed QANVT. I appreciate the great effort you have made in placing and maintaining these caches for our challenge and enjoyment.

On a road trip with geo friends from QLD for The Great Leap Year Forward Mega 2024.It was a fun, action-packed day, with many cachers teaming up to gather geo art and various other caches along the trails. Our logs were signed as team QANVT to spare room on the log sheets and to speed up the process among the car pools.A special thank you to all cache owners for placing such good caches and the ongoing maintenance on them. Your efforts are a credit to the geocaching community and gives us many smilie faces on our map ????
Out and about after the One day Mega and an early morning event we are heading up to the Barossa for a day of adventure in the geoarts.Caching with and signing as the group 'Unicorns' and having a great day.TFTCache addersbear
Ive headed to SA to attend the Great Leap Forward mega in Adelaide. So far our journey has found us in Bendigo, St Arnaud, Halls Gap and Mount Gambier, Millicent and Victor Harbor and lots of places in between. Ive targeted some geo art on the way over including the GV2020 and crayfish series, wine glass and wine bottle and challenge series. We are targeting another geo art series today, signing as QANVT which represents Queensland and ACT northern territory, Victoria and Tasmania
Anna Tommy - HeartAfter completing the Grape Art, we had a lovely lunch and headed to visit Anna.Still with our crew, we signed the log as QANVT.Thanks for placing these caches for us to enjoy.# 9999CheersWillis007
Signed as part of QANVT, super stoked to be on this mission with this great group.I want to say thanks to the CO fit the placement of this cache series. It was a big drive from Corryong, in the North East of Victoria.I collected a couple of geo caches along the way to fill in some new LGAs. I have collected the south Australia souviner plus the leap year souviner too YAY!! It has been a big few days enjoying Adelaide and the surrounding areas. .So glad to be here
After attending an early morning event in Walkerville I headed out as part of Team QANVT to attack the Barossa Geo Art series a spot of lunch at Tununda bakery and off to attack the Anna Tommy seriesHad a lot of help with this series so wont be much help to anyone on the mysteries of the solving techniques. This is the first time Ive completed a piece of art as part of a team, a lot of fun and a great crew of people.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this series available to be found.Cheers
A Leap Year Mega drew us to Adelaide. Now that it is over, it's time for some good old group caching After a lunch break, it is off to meet Anna from the Anna Tommy series. I did enjoy doing these puzzles. Learn something every day as a geocacher! We are using the Acronym QANVT to cover participant from all states. And so happily I say that the logs were signed and caches replaced as found on this day, 1st March 2024. TFTC, addersbear. I loved being out in the bush.
Im visiting Adelaide for the first time, here for the Mega which is also my first, with Willis007. Today we did a group find of the Barossa geoart and then after lunch in Tanunda, found Anna Tommy, signed under the name QANVT. Tftc
Attended the Leap Year event in Adelaide yesterday and today was the day set aside to visit the Barossa region to collect the grape geoart, visit Anna Tommy and also a few other interesting caches along the way. Our caching group for the day was Team QANVT.Thanks to all the COs whose caches we visited today and showing us around this lovely region.
Joined the QANVT group to cache around the Barossa area and beyond - searching for geoart as well as nearby other caches. I appreciate the time and effort the many CO's have put into placing and maintaining these caches.
Joined the expedition to the Barossa today with Contesta, Cybergranny and Icybeetas in the car and joined up with others covering all the eastern states plus NT. Signing caches as QANVT standing for Queensland, ACT, NSW and NT, Victoria and Tasmania. Great company and great fun and some great caching for the day. Started with the Barossa geoart and collected a few other local caches on the way. Moved on now to the Anna Tommy geoart with a slightly smaller group of people, after a fabulous treat at the Tanunda bakery. Tftc addersbear
The Leap Day MEGA drew me here to this lovely State, and gave many of us the opportunity of completing the GeoArt trails Id solved months ago in preparation.Participating with the QANVT team we had 4 different States in our car. Thanks to Contesta, our wonderful chauffeur from ACT, plus barb2E representing Queensland, icybeetas from Tasmania and Cybergran V from Victoria, we had a wonderful trip today. All caches logged as QANVT.Thanks for the mammoth effort of placing and maintaining these GeoArt caches. And thanks also for anatomical education I received in the process of solving these.
Find # 11848Well here it is, time for another MEGA, and an extra special one to. Its a leap year! So before the main event I decided Id head down to Millicent and surrounds to collect some geoart, and some of the all important (to me) SFE challenges Day 7 and another not so hot day today. Today is an out and about around Gawler day, mainly for some geoart with puzzles long ago solved in anticipation of the mega time.Quite a group today, a convoy even, so lots of laughs and fun time that these caching events bring. Signing as QANVT as representative of the States and Territories here today.Finished off the Barossa series, then Anna Tommy, then the Unicorn. Thanks opted-out user for Anna Tommy - Heart
Headed here before attending the Great Leap Forward Mega with tmann421.Enjoyed all the challenges and the findsMany thanks for the placements put into these caches.Signed log... now on to the next
Another nice find with woolwood9 today. ????Good to be doing the Anna Tommy series with plenty of great hides and finds. We spent quite a while solving these and learnt quite a bit!Found while over in Adelaide for the MEGA Event -Soon located, now onto the next one ????*Thanks for the huge effort along the trail. *????
Plans were made to attend the SA mega although our plans changed as both of our team couldn't go due to other commitments. So with that being sorted we booked everything and only made it a short visit to SA this time. Flew into SA this morning with Rapidlywild and being neither one of us is a fan of city caching we headed out to do this Anna Tommy series that we have had solved for quiet awhile now. Feeling back at home on the dirt roads although a bit of a rougher ride not being in a 4WD but our hire car still did the trick. All caches were found safe and sound unless mentioned and all logs were stamped. Thanks for the puzzle series and hides addersbear and thanks for a fun short stint away caching Rapidlywild.
Plans were in place with FurfacesLL #1 to attend the SA single day mega. So bookings for flights, accommodation and car hire were made and off we went. Flew in this morning and our first target for today was the Anna Tommy series. Have had this series solved for quite a while now, however we never seem to be in this area to do them. We made sure that changed today. We made our way around the dirt roads, getting our hire car very dirty, but hey, its SA, plenty of dirt roads. We enjoyed collecting each cache and kept an eye out for the info we needed for the final. All logs were stamped with the FFLL & RWLD stamp as we went. Thanks for the puzzle series and cache placements addersbear and thanks to FFLL for another awesome couple days of caching away from home. Looking forward to the next trip.
Anna Tommy - Heart4.0/2.5 Small Mystery Cache Back in Adelaide after 14 years. Here for The Great Leap Forward Mega and catching up with awesome caching friends and revisiting Adelaide where we lived for 16 beautiful years! Had a wonderful time reminiscing and admiring wonderful changes in the State, meeting friendly cachers and helpful COs and finding quality caches, high D/Ts and old ones.Thank you for the cache addersbear.
Solving this series has been an ongoing process for many months.Lots of late nights, anatomy that I dont think we will ever remember after this, and sometimes a little frustration. In the end, we had most of them solved, and so we were able to then JetSki a couple of solves that remained elusive to us. A great day out with E Smiley. Thanks Domsky
It is with regret to hear Anna was blown apart at the annual puff pastry cook off. It is speculated the puff was tampered with by an envious co-cooker hell bent on making Annas last years win, her last. With the constabulary arresting the puff criminal, our ghoulish task to retrieve Annas various body parts and reassemble at a secret locality for planting. The BOLD07 encountered Annas protective detail which included concentrations of bees (native and European), woolly bleaters set to ambush the car from a shady nook, irate land folk with a distrust of city slickers and a couple of hares hanging loose in the paddock. All of concern individually but terrifying when combined. The body parts when combined made a very unusual person. So the following gives an insight into the real Anna T:- Besides all her faults, Anna had a beautiful heart! Many thanks to addersbear for bringing Anna back together.
GC8G65G Anna Tommy - HeartDown in Adelaide from Brisbane for the leap year mega. After arriving today we headed north east to our accommodation in Waikerie grabbing caches along the way.One of our team was fantastic at solving these I think I only added 1 or 2 to the total. A great piece of Geo art and a nice final. Signed as BOLD 7 to save space in the log. TFTC opted-out user
Up in Gawler on a beautiful sunny day for the Anna Tommy serie. Thanks for hiding and maintaining this cache.Logged with BOLD7
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday.
With our group BOLD7 entertaining ourselves as we head north to explore the country. Fab day collecting all sorts including some well preserved oldies. Thanks to the SA cachers for awesome variety of caches.
This was an interesting set of puzzles. While many of the parts of the body were known by name, their exact location was not as well known. So relating the body part to a particular number from the diagrams was a worthwhile exercise.
These puzzles were solved some time ago but until today, we have not had the opportunity to look for the caches. After visiting Hamley Bridge earlier in the morning, we focussed on the Anna Tommy series for the remainder of the day. We were fortunate to find all the caches in the series except the bonus cache (we could only find five of the six pieces of required data and it was too late in the day to guess the missing values and check each of the locations). The soursobs hindered searching at times but at least they were dry and we remained dry as well.
Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in reasonable condition. Thanks addersbear for the cache, the series and interesting puzzles.

Such a cool series - interesting theme, fun to work out the coords, and a fun drive along the backroads here. All caches found in the series, however some took more than 5 mins due to very thick soursobs - sometimes i was standing over the cache but still unable to see it. Coords were accurate too.
Thanks for a great series!

Nice Series this one. Learnt heaps in the solving of the puzzles. Think I could become a doctor by the training I got on this series. Anyone needing a small procedure done? I'm ready to put into practice what I learnt.
Great set of cache containers, all in good condition and a lot of thought and time gone into these caches.
Quick find and signed the log.

I solved the puzzles in this trail last year so it is time I ventured out to find them.
I finished work and made the journey North. I didn’t have time to complete all of them so I will return another day when I have more time.
Thanks for the cache addersbear.

As there had been serious rain we have decided to have a couple of nights in Gawler.
The weather is still very overcast but we decided to venture out & do some of the Anna Tommy series.
To start with the GPS took us on a large tour before getting onto the right road, ( why does it do that)
Missed a couple because of very boggy roads which we avoided. Most of the others took a small amount of hunting to find.
Great series, & geoart.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Day sixteen of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
With a crappy forecast we set off to Gawler to do the Anna Tommy series and some shopping.
The morning wasn't too bad, but we still got soaked shoes and pants due to the long very wet grass and Oxalis. This combination also made the finding difficult.
Enjoyed solving the puzzles, they were interesting.
The roads were mostly in good condition but fairly busy today.
A nice collection of caches.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19314. Day 16 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. Our 2nd day staying in Tanunda (and already we have extended our 3 night stay to 5). With a wet forecast for the day we decided caching by car was preferable to caching by bike and I think that was the right choice.
We enjoyed solving the puzzles before leaving home - interesting subject matter, but time consuming too. Loved that the final placement also provided geoart - very clever.
I certainly think we earned these 4D caches but not sure what has been the hardest, the solving of the puzzles or the finding of the caches - probably the finding of the caches actually. At this time of year calf-high, wet oxalis is NOT a cacher's friend. We were soaked through by the time we had spent 3 hours on the hunt.
A few need a maintenance check and I have made notes on each of those.

After working the weekend we have a day free to find the odd cache or two, caching solo today had us picking up the odd cache or two, after visiting MunoPara we had a couple of hours left in the day, swung past Gawler for a couple of caches before setting our sights on finishing this fantastic adventure, all caches were found today, and the bonus to finish off the day was well worth the ending of this series

By this time in the day we were running behind for time, so we decided to only do a few of the Anna Tommy series. Thank you for the series I will be back

Early in 2021 I received an invite from GoosenEgg and Stainless Steel Rat to join them on a caching trip to the Mega in South Australia. As planning got underway some caches with high Favorite points, very old caches, and the On Your Bike Series were listed as "must-dos"
The trip ended up being 10 days of solid and very enjoyable caching with quite a few highlights. The find count for the trip was around the 950 mark when all GCA, Adventure Lab, and GC caches are included. The high point for finds was a day of 335 finds in the one day, which would have been more, but a sudden storm put the end to caching for the day. No one was interested in getting out of the car to find a cache in a downpour in the dark
We were lucky enough to find Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin's Cache, and my favorite for the trip Barossa High (From 21st of January 2001 with the original log book still in place) all in the one day.
Unfortunately, the caching around the mega was beset by bad weather and the day we had put aside for Mount Gambier was scrapped due to a covid case in Mount Gambier on the previous day, so we avoided the area. We all enjoyed the Fishing series and just managed to get the remaining of these before the light failed for the day.
In the end I managed to completed my D/T grid for the first (and possibly the second time) which was my aim for the year, although some of the D/T combinations were not really achievable in Tasmania without a 3 day overnight bush walk.

The Millicent Mega trip had been a long time in the making, for the Tassie trio of stainless steel rat, budgietas and gooseandegg, due to a couple of false starts thanks to COVID19. More and more caches were added to the extensive list as planning was being finalized. We focused on old caches, large caches, certain D/Ts, virtual caches, the On your Bike series and a few other special ones on our journey. Our route saw us caching in Adelaide for a few days before heading north via Gawler to the Barossa in preparation for the On your Bike series, whilst basing ourselves at a gorgeous cottage in Waikerie. We continued on to Renmark for a night before the long trek south to Millicent.
Some of the many highlights along the way were Gawler Fort Knox, Dustin’s Cache, Barossa High and Riverland (the oldest surviving geocache in South Australia).
At the Mega we caught up with a few of our caching friends, made some new ones, and of course missed many who could not make it this time. The weather was not the best in Millicent, and a COVID19 situation in Mt Gambier altered our plans but we had plenty of caches to keep us busy between showers, including tree climbs, plenty of adventure labs, and the entertaining Finding a Fish series - giving the new pole a good workout for the first time.
Thanks to all the CO’s who have placed and maintained all these caches that made our adventure so memorable.

Today we drove to the North and then Northeast of Adelaide to collect some interesting caches we had highlighted from out must do list while still in Tassie, after that it will be the On Your Bike series.
Even with the numbers being down it was great to attend a Mega and at least get to meet some fellow cachers after so long and catch up with a few people, we flew over from Tassie on Thursday and after spending a few days in Adelaide we headed Northeast to clean up some series and then head South to Millicent for the start of the Mega long weekend.
This trip has changed so many times since it was first booked and I'm glad we got to do it at long last, to start with it was just myself and GooseandEgg nipping over for the Mega and then it was a few more days with the addition of 1 toolman, then with lockdown it was back to two of us but then another Tassie cacher in the shape of BudgieTas stepped up to the plate and we were back on for an over a week trip to grab a few caches before the Mega and then finish off with Millicent before flying home on the Tuesday.
Thanks for the cache.

Have done the scientific research of this series with the Waldos.Thank you. This is No 17
Leahry101 set us the challenge on this one – find AnnaTommy. Spent many hours pondering the puzzle, then the light came on. Once we were on the right track we learnt about human anatomy and the bits of the body unfolded. This series is a real credit to the creators – the addersbear team. What a fantastic effort. Headed out with my daughter, youngest grandy and the dogs for a little caching after solving the puzzles. (Which has been great fun this week!). Our intention had been to park up and walk the round, but after an hour of speeding cars on gravel roads, we called it a day. This will need to be a drive by caching adventure at another time. Thank you very much for the time spent putting this series together addersbear. Loved your idea for preventing cache creep. Tftc
Grabbing a few before lunch at gawler. I was surprised by the traffic but pleasantly impressed with the better foliage. All looked for were found. I think this one however I only found a bone attached to the wire. It doesn’t match the name though. I hope I got it right.
GeoVenture Mega Event at Millicent, still looking forward to it!! A new date has been set for October 2nd 2021 now. Have a look at GC82DAN.

Out near Gawler today targeting the Anna Tommy series. Had a bit of trouble working out the puzzle as we haven’t done too many, but after a PAF, we understood what we were doing and worked them all out.
All caches are hidden pretty well and in good condition today. Thanks for placing and looking after this series Addersbear, TFTC.
Found with the lid off - it isn’t a tight fit. Contents all appear to be intact though. TFTC and series.
A quick find after working out the co/ords and getting a few clues along the way. Thanks to all involved in placing this series. One of the best series we have completed a favourite for all of them.TFTC
Well where do I start with this series? Was it the creepy dolls in he background? Or searching everywhere but the right place for a list? Or maybe it was the reference to 1810 which preceded European settlement in South Australia by 26 years? In regards to the latter I am now much more knowledgeable about the practice of grave robbery, the work of Nikolay Ivanovich Pirogov and the Anatomy Act of 1832. None of this was useful though. When the right location was finally found, most of this series was solved easily, whereas others were a bit harder to pin down.
I had grabbed a dozen of these caches a few months back at the start of winter when the grass was green and did a good job of obscuring the lower placed caches. Today, the grass was dry which made the search for many quite a bit simpler and all other caches in the series (apart from the final Anna Tommy were collected). Not many passing motorists about today although a few farmers were using their Saturday afternoon to rake hay. TFTC.

After saving this series for an appropriate time, today was the day .
We quickly found the majority of caches, a few ended up being hidden very well by either new growth, or wind having helped with the camo .

Thanks for another one Addersbear (see 'Temple' for main log).

Thanks AddersBear for this cache and the series. This one took a little longer to find. A nice container and contents, all in good order. I almost needed to issue a little Anna gasp, as I got quite close to the barbs here.
Gawler-bound to grab some more of this cool series today on TGIF 5 June 2020.
I did receive a hint on how to access on what was needed in order to solve the puzzles for this series [^]
Some of the names for parts of the anatomy are unpronouncable tongue-twisters to say the least ha ha
Found quickly and SL with the grass still wet from the overnight dew [B)] Collecting the clues as i go.

I had set about solving several of these puzzles when they were first published. Spent way to long on one particular body part that was never going to be correct, fortunately the CO/s rectified the error... phew!
Thank you for a puzzle I could actually solve. I was stoked to work it out for myself
A day of caching with hevwalker was on the cards and this series was the target. Both of us set about solving the rest of the body parts. Unlike any surgical operation... there was no precision used as we fumbled our way through the anatomy of Anna Tommy
All caches were found in good condition (unless duly noted by hevwalker - keeper of notes). Relevant info was noted as we sliced & diced our way through this series.

Container a bit damp inside.
LiB & I decided on Friday night we would go out North to find the Anna Tommy Series of caches this Sunday so we sat up until the early morning solving them...
Grabbed some breakfast then headed out...the day was pleasant to begin with but turned chilly towards the end...
The containers were easily located and the clues obtained from the marked ones for the final destination...
WoW!!! who would have thought these roads would be so busy with traffic...even on the smaller ones...

So after 28 days of quarantine after I arrived back in Australia from the UK it was definitely time for a big caching day out.
Spent a while in hotel quarantine solving the newish Anna Tommy series so this seemed like the perfect group of caches to head to today. Added in a few trads to make for a full day of caching.
In the end found 55 caches and 2 dnf for the day. After doing not much for a month I was cream crackered by the end of the day.
It was a glorious day for caching, perfect winter day with sunshine and blue skies.
If I am honest I preferred solving the puzzles in comparison to the finds. The containers were a great size but found the clambering amongst bushes and under trees to be a lot of hard work. A lot of sour sobs, barbed wire, hidden wire fences, broken glass etc. But massively appreciated the time and effort the COs have gone to in placing this series, creating the puzzles, placing and maintaining the caches. Hopefully the wire cables will ensure there is no cache wander although at least 2 were no longer attached to their hosts. Obligatory blood ensued today.
TFTC and series and for keeping me busy whilst in quarantine.

Found during a caching trip with e.gregory1 for the day. The main aim was to complete the Anna Tommy puzzle series but we extended our foray to find a number of other caches around the Gawler area. It was a great day for caching, the weather cool and cloudy, and we managed to dodge the showers. Also chatted to a couple of friendly farmers along the way. Thanks for the puzzle and cache addersbear!
This cache was found on a trip to the Gawler area with FeatherWaite today. Our main aim was to complete the ‘Anna Tommy’ puzzle series, but we also took the opportunity to target some other selected puzzles and multi caches, and grabbed a few traditionals that we passed along the way.
We had a good day weather wise. Despite the threat of rain, it held off all day for us. We were a bit surprised at just how busy some of the back roads were, with a constant stream of passing traffic. A couple of local farmers also stopped for a chat and to see what we were up to. Apparently there has been quite a lot of theft and illegal dumping out this way of late.
I quite enjoyed this series. While most of the puzzles were reasonably straightforward, I found a few a bit more tricky. Likewise the hides - most were found very quickly but some took a bit more searching. The caches were all in reasonably good condition although a few had water in the outside containers. However the inner container and logbooks were fine. I appreciated the work that had been put into the cache containers including the decoration, use of the inner containers and securing them to prevent cache-creep.
All in all it was a very productive and enjoyable day out with around 60 finds in total and no DNFs.
Thanks addersbear for the puzzle and the cache.

This morning, Freddo, Team Waldron, thewhitedoggang, and Trail06 joined forces to complete the new Anna Tommy geoart series. The puzzle series took a while and some were pretty finnicky, but in the end, my anatomy knowledge had improved. We then detoured through a few geocaches around Gawler like the Meat Trail series, before I met with jesswrigley, and we took a drive through the wine country through Lyndoch finding a few oldie geocaches, and enjoying some wine tasting. We ended up calling through Tanunda for a bakery lunch, before closing out our day with some small walks/hiking in Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park, finding one of South Australia's oldest caches *Barossa High* as well as a few other older caches. A nice day to be out and about before we start seeing serious COVID-19 travel restrictions take effect.
I only managed to just complete the puzzles the night before, and hadn't found the shortcut, but had developed a system to tick off / label the various anatomy as I had used them going through.
We started early in the morning, and with the group headed north with my first time over the northern connector road... it will be great when they can finalise construction and ramp up the speed limits to a consistent 100-110 km/hr. We then made the adventure around the solved puzzles, with this geocache signed as DFTW6 in order to preserve space in the logbook. This geocache container and logbook were found in good shape, and found within a few minutes of looking. A lot of work has gone into these geocache hides, with the camouflage and theme, as well as the secure attachments to the various trees and bushes. At times, it did slow us down as there appeared to be a container within a container that was probably overkill given the high standard of containers used. Thanks addersbear aka. Blackadders and Skuzzybear for the puzzle preparation, geocache placement, and ongoing maintenance efforts.

(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit lonely
And you're never coming 'round
(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit tired
Of listening to the sound of my tears
(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit nervous
That the best of all the years have gone by
(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit terrified
And then I see the look in your eyes
(Turn around, bright eyes) every now and then I fall apart
(Turn around, bright eyes) every now and then I fall apart
(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit reckless
And I dream of something wild
(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit helpless
And I'm lying like a child in your arms

And I know I've got to get out and cry
(Turn around) every now and then I get a little bit terrified
But then I see the look in your eyes
(Turn around, bright eyes) every now and then I fall apart
(Turn around, bright eyes) every now and then I fall apart
Once upon a time I was falling in love
But now I'm only falling apart
There's nothing I can do
A total eclipse of the heart
Once upon a time there was light in my life
But now there's only love in the dark
Nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the heart
