Found this one, cache and logbook good.Day 4 of our 4 day anniversary road trip to Maryborough and out West. Lots of adventure to be had with my love SCAHPA. Log signed as CS & SC to save time and room - Trademark skeleton animals sticker left in cache - TFTC, effort time and maintenance
Dora the Explorer! and I whilst passing through Kilkivan we decided to find several caches that were placed on the 1st January to meet a Western Australia challenge. The challenge required the finding of 20 caches on the day that they were published or on its anniversary. These caches were handy because they were relatively close together. Most caches were in good order.TFTC
Today with CDAH55 it was all about efficiency as i embarked on a park and grab drive-by cache adventure along the power trail. We needed this for the Birthday challenge cache, where you have to find a cache on the anniversary of its placement and you need 20. I only needed to 8 to qualify but today I found 10. So you could say that I over qualified myself. The caches were lined up, waiting for eager geocachers like me to log my find. I stopped by this cache as part of a power trail adventure, and it was a quick and easy find. The cache was exactly where I expected it to be, thanks to the accurate coordinates. Thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache along the trail. It's a great addition to the power trail and made for a convenient stop on our geocaching journey. Trade: We didn't make a trade at this particular cache since it was more about the quick find and go. Trackable: We didn't find any trackables in this cache, but we'll keep an eye out for them as we continue our journey along the power trail. I dropped off a trackable. Quick Stop: This cache made for a perfect quick stop while on the power trail. We appreciate the convenience and the chance to add another find to our geocaching stats. Thanks to the cache owner for maintaining this cache. We're off to the next one along the power trail. Happy caching!
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Do Scrap Booking Sweet - Sour [^]
Our journey south begins, somewhat reluctantly as we have been enjoying the warm weather and we know it is still cold and wet in Victoria.
It was only a short journey from Maryborough to Kilkivan but some well placed caches with good parking enabled us to collect caches on the way. There was only one we had to pass as we could not find a place to pull up. Lots of traditionals, but good sizes and in great condition.
On arrival at Kilkivan we set up camp and had some lunch before heading off to complete the Adventure Lab in town. Then is was off up one of the trails on Mudlo Road through the National Park and beyond. Some great countryside and worth the trip. Again good sized caches in the main in good condition. We got to use our TOTT we are becoming more proficient with but missed one that seemed to be gone.
A big day again, so we both should sleep well tonight!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

Muggle65 and I are after select caches today to help with a challenge. We are covering many miles and have bitten off more than we can chew. The scenery was beautiful and this is the first time I have been out here and everything is green. We really enjoyed our day out here. Thank you for the fun
Up early this morning & off to find the FTF unleashed by Team JLBL & like all those preceding us ?????? no luck finding this one!!! But we aren’t claiming an DNF, just accepting partial frustration.
?????? & I looked for what seemed forever unmolested by muggles at 8:30am in the morning.
So leaving that location we had more success down the road at the challenge caches ?????? and then off to Tiaro & onward to our main hunting ground in the Kilkivan area.
Starting our day before the sun came up, we finished it a couple of hours prior to the sun coming up the next day, Simply because a FTF opportunity came up just after we arrived home & had started to relax. So at Midnight we set off for a bicycle ride along the gateway to finally claim a FTF for the day?? or was that for tomorrow???
Don’t care!!! Going home to sleep ?? sleep ?? ?? ??.

No tennis today so the next best thing to do is to go geocaching with friends Peppa and TMZ59. Decided to chase down caches for a few challenges we have been working on on this road trip.
Still cant stop finding caches even though we must start making our way back for a meeting tonight. Another quick find SL then returned as found.
Found on 2 June 2022. TFTC, youngoldfella.

Out for the day with Patrol14 and TMZ59 in the Habanero Sport chasing select caches to help us with a range of challenges…
Mudlo Road is rich in targets for us, but it’s taken over 4 hours to get here from Nanango… there was one or two caches along the way…
Really starting to run out of time to get back to the Logan Event… another quick find of a good sized container…

TFTC. Day 2 of our stay attending the Mid year event. We decided to head up Mudlo Rd to complete all the caches this way. All finds were quickly found with good co-ordinates.
After camping overnight in Kilkivan I headed out this morning along Mudlo Rd. Another great country drive with good containers and good coords, which always makes the experience nicer.
No problems finding the caches and once the logs were signed all were returned as found.
If a cache needed attention that was done too.
Thanks to the CO's for placing a great series in this area.

Walking the road taking in the views. A cow cockey pulled up and demanded to know just what were doing. We must have looked suspicious. Ha. Thanks anyway
Time to get back down to business, hit the road & rack up some more smilies to spread warmth & happiness throughout the land.
Knocking up the numbers doesn't hurt either!
Kilkivan & surrounds were our target areas this run.
Day #2.
#29 of 55 smilies today.
It's getting close to time to tell the 'locals' to MOOOOve along.
I know the country is talking a lot about herd immunity of late but this is more like herd intrusion!
Quick find.
Lucky it isn't raining ...
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Was here over the NY weekend and drove up and down this road a few times but I managed to miss this cache. So today a came back to find and some other caches in the Kilkivan area I didn 't get to over the event weekend. TFTC.
Hi there youngoldfella.
We found your cache **"Mudlo Road views."** today. (This makes our find count 25580).
Another day caching the Kilkivan area. It was a really nice drive today, made even better by not having to wade through long grass to find the caches. Our tally today was 27 caches & 0 DNF's.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards

I will move this one next time I am on this road. It is outside the 5 meters.
##Note to CO's of caches along Mudlo Road Kilkivan & not within a national park boundary.##
###(This is one such cache).###
We were approached today by a person purporting to be an owner of property along this stretch of road. She took great pains to explain that the road reserve here is 5 metres wide, and that some caches placed here are actually much further than 5 metres from the road.
She stressed that these caches are therefore on private property and asked us to move any we found any that were incorrectly placed.
Most of the caches we found were OK, but a few were quite a distance from the road. (Caches up side tracks are NOT OK).
We didn't move any, but if your cache is more than 5 metres from the main road - please do something about moving it.

Day 2 of the New Year event at Kilkivan. Having a wonderful time meeting new cachers as well as catching up with some old faces.
Today Ms Maddy, TripleTurmoil, CHAMAD and myself piled into the car and headed out for some new caches, and to collect some oldies. There were a couple of things which happened today, these will remain firmly implanted for quite a while to come. These events added to a super fun day with great caches and fantastic company.
This was a quick find, log signed, cache replaced as found.
Thanks YOF for the cache.

A lovely drive out along this country road collecting caches and we have started at the end working our way back to Kilkivian. Cache found, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks to the CO’s for placing all these caches.
After a big day of caching yesterday and a good night sleep it was time to do it all over again. The plan today was to grab some caches along Mudlo road and get a couple of ftf’s. Same team as yesterday and Willis007 offered to drive, we also had a new inclusion, 4Hawkers joined us today. A fun morning and a lot of chatter along the way as these three girls can talk alot, lol.
The trip was entertaining, the variety of caches was nice and they were all found in good condition, the scenery was varied and spectacular along this road; what an awesome area, thank you.

Driving though properties with cows is just plain awesome. They see you and take their sweet time clearing the path, and their is a mutual respect.
On the drive to GZ we came across a young maiden that was not prepared to back down. I’m not sure whether her parents would be proud or ashamed. No matter how many times we beeped the horn or got close that stubborn teenager wasn’t moving.
Finally she got bored and moved on and had won the argument. I hope she remembers the day she beat us, so one day I can BBQ the chops she grows into. tftc

We enjoyed the many caches we did along these backroads, the countryside being a lot dryer than we expected.
The caches were generally typically roadside caches.

I found your cache with my Dad, Oddiewan and most of the time, Semik. I am way behind on logging so learned how to use templates so I can catch up. Now we have officially finished finding all current hides on Mudlo road. The hills are beautiful! I loved the kangaroo (or possibly wallaby). Everything is starting to turn green again. We were sometimes amused by the cows but not amused by what they leave behind! Thankfully it’s winter and the flies were not bad at all.
Thanks for the fun, youngoldfella
