We worked out where GZ was so wandered across the road. Once there we realised the cache would be missing as its location has been destroyed by an accident. TFTC.
#5034 While in Goulburn for some gridiron took the opportunity to sneak off before the game for a few caches.Collected the information but a basic miscalculation had me scratching my head as checksums were not in agreement.Picked up on my obvious error and had my GZ ready to go.No problems once there with a nice easy find.Thats 500 Multi finds now ticked off for me. Thanks GLISS for preparing this cache.
Solved last night but wasnt wearing the right shoes to be running across roads and it was too cold then as well.Today I made a very quick find after parking nearby. Interesting history of the bridge, I wouldn't have given it a second thought had I not solved this multi.Generic Summary of today:Did some logical loops of Goulburn before heading to challenge caches and the Towrang Stockade.Snack situation: Grabbed a Breakfast wrap from Cafe Grit and it was great! Had a hungry jacks mcflurry on the way home, it was essentially a cup filled with icecream with oreo dust overflowing. Had to stand outside of my car to eat the first half of it.Public toilets? Not today, had to do a bush wee.Munzee distractions: during breakfast near the Big Merino.Weirdos spotted: surprisingly noneAnimals spotted (alive): kangaroos, ducks, rozellas, magpies, crows, sheep, goats (both white domestic and multicoloured feral), horses, cows (all colours), and a camel!Weather: overcast, light sprinkles, pretty cool.My main aim of today was to get anything I'd solved, multis and letterboxes. Thanks to the cache owners and for the efforts they go to place and maintain these caches. TFTC!
Found whilst cruising the countryside.. Quickly gathered the information and calculated GZ. Found cache all well. TFTC
Our holiday is almost over but not before enjoying a caching trip in Goulburn with an overnight stay in our favourite accommodation first. With plenty of presolved puzzles and letterboxes Goulburn has plenty to offer any geocacher.Another interesting multi completed with a straight forward hide. Thanks GLISS! for the multi placement.

Mr Minion and I are spending a few days in Goulburn finding caches, we are really enjoying the town and the variety of the hides. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
This interesting multi was quickly solved today, and we enjoyed a short walk to make a straightforward find at our calculated GZ. Cache and log in excellent condition. Thanks, GLISS!
Caching around Goulburn for a couple of days. TFTC.
A nice bit of history with a straight forward multi.

Picking up some caches around Goulburn while in the area for a short vsit with ilook4geo. Had no problem in finding this one after working out the new numbers and we were soon on our way to find other caches of interest. Log was signed and all was replaced. Thanks for placing this cache go to GLISS!
Out for a couple of days caching with goingplaces2 around the Goulburn area. Found this cache and enjoyed the haul we achieved today. TFTC.
Cache 10138 on 12 Apr 2023.
Bobl27 had to come to Goulburn for some tests, so I decided to tag along to see if I could score a couple of multis while waiting for him. In the end I managed to work out and log seven multis! Very satisfied with that effort. Coordinates for all of them worked out easily and found all but one easily and quickly in line with any hints provided.
Thanks GLISS! for the cache and the fun!

After finding out that I wasn’t needed for work today, I decided on heading to Goulburn for the lunchtime CITO. However, before I arrived I went on a cache finding spree. I managed to get quite a few quick and easy finds of the Elements series plus a few others which have been on the to-find-list. Once it was getting close to event time, I went and got KFC for lunch. The event was a small crowd this time with only the CO, Minniek, Toy Hunters, Sebass19 and myself. A few bags of rubbish was filled. Afterwards, Toy Hunters, Sebass19, myself with the assistance Fitzy_1965 went to find some more caches which required some very special TOTT’s. At 2pm, I headed off from them to go home but not before finding three more caches before the drive home. It was a great day. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTE & TFTC’s!
Well one more cache before lunch can't hurt. I decided on finding this multi-cache. Once at the WP, I quickly found the required information and soon had GZ sorted. I then walked over and soon the had the CIH. It has now been signed and replaced. Now time for lunch.

Found on a 50-cache day-trip to Goulburn for GGGT events #57 and #58. Some quick calcs here and then a quick find at GZ, although I had to wait for cars to pass before retrieving. Lovely views of the river. TNLNSL. TFTC GLISS!!
Out with GreyHams on a mostly nice sunny day. With the recent rain there was plenty of water lying about, the little car got, well... just a 'little' muddy! Thankfully though we stayed dry and clean enough! Wow, it was a long day that saw us cover a lot of distance, climb a few hills, and collect a lot of good quality caches along the way. Generally, most caches were found in good condition, all at the coordinates and dry although a few have not held up to the rain and were in poor or very wet condition.
Thanks for your cache that led to a good day out!

After some new caches had me lured all the way to Goulburn, I used the remaining daylight to gind a bunch of caches at the south nd of town. Feelt good to put a good chunk of these into smiles and see a few new spots. Lots more to do around town so will need to come back a few more time but made a start. This cache was one of the ones I had the oportunity to do. A nice multi cache here!
Thank you GLISS! for the nice walk you gaveus!

Day 4 of e.gregory1 and I’s trip to Yass, NSW and surrounds for a week away to find a few caches. Today we headed from Bowning to Goulburn, hitting the local trails around Yass and a few others around the area before caching around Goulburn for the afternoon.

Found on a week-long caching trip over to NSW and Victoria from Adelaide with gridge98.
Our main targets were the wherigo and challenge cache series’ around the Yass and Goulburn areas, although we also found quite a few other Unknown, multi, letterbox, virtual and traditional caches of interest along the way. We even managed to attend an event at Sutton and did a couple of caches just over the border in the ACT.
The middle of winter around the shortest day was probably not the best time to schedule our trip, particularly as we were camping. But despite a little bit of rain one night and sub-zero temperatures on another, the weather wasn’t too bad, albeit on the cloudy and cool side.
In all we covered about 3,300 km over the week and managed almost 350 finds each.
After collecting the required information for the final coordinates, it was off to GZ for the find.
Thanks GLISS! for the cache.

Our first full day in Goulburn, and what a great day weather wise it was.
We had a number of Adventure Labs in our sight, as we always enjoy them, and different locations put on different slants which gives us ideas for a Lab credit we have to use when we get home..
We tried to pick up any caches we went near en route which becomes complicated, juggling phones, GPSrs and ipad maps for the overview, as well as the car GPS!
We found a variety of caches and hides, generally all in good condition and saw some of the sites of Goulburn.
Our only downside was a flat tyre late in the day, but even then a lovely bloke stopped and offered to help!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache GLISS!.

We planned a day or two in Goulburn, and sent a text to Rapidlywild to see if she could join us.
Sunday seemed to suit, so the target was - to find as many multi's as we could.
Rapidlywild came organised with pen and paper and the questions written out.
That made everything much easier, when solving.
Some gave us a few headaches, but after checking sums, we came out with the right numbers.
Most logs were signed as 'TDR' (for The Drovers & Rapidlywild), to save on time and space.
A big 'Thank You' to Rapidlywild for joining us, and making the day so much more fun.
A quick find, signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, GLISS!, for us and others to find.

Recieved a text from The Drovers who had plans to venture around Goulburn for the day doing a spot of caching before the terrible weather hits on Monday. Yeah awesome, I have a few to collect in Goulburn so would be nice to get a few more smilies around the area.
The weather was rather brisk and the wind would rip right through our jackets/jumpers today but we kept on chasing those smilies. Our main targets today were multi caches as there seems to have been an explosion of them around the place since my last visit. We managed to do ok today, had issues with one of the multis which unfortunately resulted in a DNF, a trad which will need to be archived as the property is now a private residence and a few very wet logs which we replaced with dry log sheets.
Its amazing how many bridges you find when you go looking for them! A nice multi showing a few of the local bridges of the town. No issues with the calculations and GZ soon identified and cache soon in hand. Most of todays logs were signed as "TDR" for The Drovers Rapidlywild to save space on the logs.
Thanks for the hides GLISS! And thanks to The Drovers for a fun day out and about around Goulburn [^].

#12526 - 10:42:00 AM; After a couple of trips out to Braidwood which cleared most of our unfound caches in that area, today I headed north with Sol de lune to clear a few of the caches around the city. While we had a couple of caches on our 'to do' lists for the day, it was mainly an improvised run as we went. Remarkably, it pretty took us past our 'to do' caches without too much backtracking, while picking up others as we made our way around. After a DNF around the corner, we stopp and grabbed the required info, did the calculations and headed to GZ for a quick find and sign. TFTC GLISS!
In Goulburn for a few hours with LuckyL10n to grab a few caches and hopefully whittle the number of still to find down.
Next stop on our travels today was this multi.....and what an interesting multi it was. I do enjoying reading history like this, gathering a bit of info and heading off to find the prize. Always seem to learn something.
Thanks for adding to our tour GLISS! Fav point for the experience.

A few days caching in the ACT and surrounds with Steeba, Wilbert67 and The Rats, another trip away like countless others that we have done before. We got the dates, we did the planning, we worked out a route. But there was one thing that we could not plan for; the weather.
The caches were excellent. The company faultless. The weather; atrocious. Rain, rain, rain. And then more rain. On several occassions we had to change our intended route, abandon plans, and even came home a day early. Alas, the rain had been predicated, but we had hoped it would stay away.
Please forgive the boiler-plate log, I assure you it is no reflection on the caching experience of our few days away. Thank you to all cache owners for their hides.
Cheers

Our first post-lockdown caching run with steeba, Hoojar and Wilbert had been planned for months and whatya know it - we forgot to let the weather gods know our plans. NSW experienced torrential rain and chilling winds across most of the state, but that didn't stop us.
Saturday's weather didnt show signs of improvement and our enthusiam for getting wet n cold was waning. We changed our plans a number of times before opting for an early finish to our weekend, but before another handful of finds ibetween Collector and Goulburn.
This one was high n dry

Well post-COVID restrictions (in 2021!), The Rats, Hoojar, Wilbert67 and I teamed up for an assault on the areas surrounding Canberra. Problem was the weather had other ideas so we ended up with a day in Canberra and chipping away at other caches around the edges, and came home a bit wet a day early.
A great cache- water almost had the current bridge underwater today!!
Many great puzzles and hides on this trip.

Stopped near the sign and soon had the required information. I was surprised how early in the history of NSW there was a bridge here. Then a short stroll to gz. TFTC.
Fridays is when I have the most time and Tankengine and I needed a few caches today for our calendar challenge, so Goulburn was where we planned to come.
It was a cloudy, chilly day, but we had heaps of fun and got more than we expected, including an FTF, every cache type we needed and even explored an old building with wonderment.
This cache: Well it’s a bridge. The cache was quick and easy to pick up.

A little bit of rain didn't dampen our geocaching raid on Goulburn. Finalf29 and I spent a wonderful afternoon completing an Adventure Lab & Bonus, three multis, grabbing various trads along the way and stopping for a bite to eat at "Curry In A Hurry"... we will definitely be back for more caches and curry
A nice little multi with interesting plaques. Soon had numbers crunched and GZ coords found. I remember the old bridge... used it as an answer in one of the first puzzles I ever solved. Water was flowing well in the river this afternoon... after last summer I will never complain about rain ever again. Thanks

SOLVED: 10 July 2020
Redeemed my embarrassment from the Goulburn Side-Tracked multi. This one was straight forward. We came here in February 2020 and I collected photos of all the information required to calculate the coordinates. I don't bother about Multis that much. However I will collect the information and take it home to calculate if I know I will be back some time in the future. The only thing was I gathered the information for this cache, got home and forgot all about it. By then Covid was on the way and life turned upside down with other responsibilities. Fastforward to July 2020 and Covid is somewhat receeding and I had an unexpected trip to Goulburn for a job interview. Knowing I had already collected the information on this cache I just continued on my way. Fortunately there was enough to do in town to occupy my afternoon. At home I quickly sorted out the coordinates, so, next trip to Goulburn will be to sign the log. Fascinating read at these information boards, thanks for the multi.
Fast foward to today... this cache was on my list to hunt down. Nice and easy, Mr ToC had cache in hand and the log signed with our names and then returned to its hide'y hole exactly as found.
**The Adventure**
In Goulburn today to undertake the 'Leaner Knowledge Test'. There is a six week wait in my local town for LKT's so there was no way I was waiting that long with a twelve week validity on my 'Certificate of Competance.' I wouldn't want to have a hiccup and another long wait. Why wait when there was a two week waiting time for Goulburn RMS. Why miss an opportunity to find a few caches while here. All up it has been a good day and I thoroughly enjoyed hunting todays caches. I passed the LKT and had my eye on a nice motorbike in Canberra to check out today too, but someone got in before me.

Today was to be my final 'work from home' shift, but I decided to take the day off and head towards Goulburn, collecting caches along the way.
With the day passing quickly, and several objectives still to be met I was focusing on trads more than multis so nearly didn't stop at this one - but I'm glad I did!
A well set up multi and some interesting information about the local area.

This was the fourth day of my caching weekend, and I spent the day in and around Goulburn. I had hoped to do the new adventure lab, but early on there was a phone disaster and that was no longer possible. I did managed a good collection of traditional and multi caches before heading home to splash out on a new phone. I am glad to see a new bridge here, but it does not have the character of the old one. I suppose function is more important than form.
Thanks.

It seems like they were working on this replacement for years (probably was!). Good to see it finally finished and detours no longer required. Pity they can't leave the old bridge around.
Gathered the information quickly, then headed off to GZ for a fast find.

After the dinner event nearby, a couple of people expressed their interest in this cache. We decided to make a group assault on this cache with the group and some tips from the CO themselves as well
Great to see this road and new bridge now open up to the public! And what a great idea for a little multi-cache to commemorate it!
Thanks GLISS! I enjoy the history and meaning behind some of your cache locations!

I love night caching!!!!!!! Like. Really love it. Though I must admit it is made easier when you are part of a clued up caching team Snuck by here for a sneaky cache after a great evening of events. This was my first sighting of this new bridge. Pretty cool. Guess I’ll have to come by in daylight sometime to give it a proper look over. Thanks for the cache!
After the events in Goulburn tonight a group of us decided to attack some new caches that had appeared since last time we were here.
The attack squad consisted of Loci612, DSD, Kittykatch and joolay.
The ladies had their hands on this before we even walked up to them.
Quick signing duties done and off to Canberra... lets see who can pick up a speeding ticket along the way.
Thanks again for the hide GLISS!

Signed the log for this cache before it was even published, as myself and DSD were a bit cheeky and jumped the CO upon placement! My name is even in the description! Saw two caches come out that day however, so decided not to log it anyway, and just grab them both regardless next time I was out this way! Why not!
Well today was that opportunity! After the dinner event nearby, a couple of people expressed their interest in these two caches, so we decided to make a group assault on them with some tips from the CO themselves as well

Great to see this road and new bridge now open up to the public! And what a great idea for a little multi-cache to commemorate it!
Thanks GLISS! I enjoy the history and meaning behind some of your cache locations!

Found with Kittykatch, Loci612, DSD and FurfacesLL after the event in Goulburn. Lovely little multi. Thanks for getting us out and about GLISS
Heading down to Canberra with [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0), stopped in Goulburn for lunch and we decided to head for this one as T had done previous caches that the GPS kept trying to take him over the bridge despite it being closed. Today, bridge was open, we parked the car and walked to WP to obtain the info, after working out the calcs, we headed for GZ. After quick search, we had CIH, log signed and returned and TFTC.
Solved and found with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H). We had stopped in Goulburn for some lunch and we decided to head here and try this multi. The last time I'd been to this spot the road had been closed. It was nice to see it open with the new bridge. We went to one side and got some of the needed info, however we then took a look at the posted co-ords and found out we were in the wrong spot. We walked there and got the rest of the info, correcting one of our figures as well. We now headed off to GZ, seeing if we could walk under the bridge to get there. This wasn't that easy, but we came across a plum tree and ate a couple of fruits - almost ripe. We arrived at GZ and saw the hide, log signed and all replaced and we walked back to the car. TFTC.
A trip to Goulburn this morning to do a bit of shopping, also the caches that are available that we haven’t found yet.
Bit if a cooler day but still a lot of smoke around, we need rain so desperately.
Collected information and headed to GZ for a quick.

Woo Hoo *FTF* at 2:00 pm with GSC2000. Full log to follow.
19,797. A nice way to start off the week - 3 brand new caches in my backyard.
Sitting at home when the notifications came through. Quick as a flash GSC2000 and I were in the geomobile heading to this one. Parked at WP1 and located the interesting signs here. Gathered the required info and calculated GZ. Ok that looks good. Arrived at GZ for a quick find. Opened the log and was happy that it was still empty. Signed away and the ftf was in the bag. However there was one more on offer so off we went.
Thanks GLISS! !! That's some neat history here.
