Day 36 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc and today hired ebikes and took a tour around the loop to Westshore collecting caches along the way and completing 3 Adventure Labs. What a beautiful day to be out and about in Napier. Thanks for contributing to an amazing holiday A Lovely view of wetlands
Day thirty five of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris.Hired some deadly treadlies and rode a trail around Napier today, a few AdLab stages and a few caches.Nice blue skies and light breeze, perfect caching weather. We did wonder where the stile went to.Thanks, Robmc.
Up from palmy staying in Napier for Easter. The weather is great so I ended up going for a 35km scooter round Napier, also found acouple caches that I havent yet found. I then later met up with my dad as he wasnt too far from where I was and stopped for a bit of a fish! Co-ords were out by a bit but after checking the hint it took me right to the cache. Thats for taking me down here! I wrote in the log and placed the cache carefully back as found. TFTC. Thanks goffyoffy for placing this Traditional cache! goffyoffy , ! 1 April 2024 at 11:26AM#930th Find
Another quick easy find on a walk around the wetlands. Cache was open when found. Closed securely when replaced. Thanks for placing
It was very fun. walking down the track passing the river watching the planes landing at the airport
We actually decided to actually use this track so we opened the gate and went through on our way around this are for the 4 caches there . By using this track our boots actually stayed mainly dry and while watching the odd bird here we came to the other gate and located the cache here. All was well with the cache and we took nothing and left nothing , thank you for these caches that i have looked at for quite a while when visiting napier but now i have actually done them .
I convinced HS to go along the stopbank as it meant that we wouldn't have to back track. Saw lots of different birds. Beautiful sunny day for a pleasant walk. Tftc.
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up at the NZMCA Eriksen Road Campsite in Napier for the next few days … planning to get in a few days R&R riding some of the numerous bike tracks & trails around Napier, assuming the rain stays away … but if it doesn’t, then we’ll just chill in our caravan … decided we’d go for another bike ride today, so headed in along Marine Parade, round past the Port (had a great view of the Cruise Liner: ‘Ovation of the Seas’), before heading out round the Westshore Wildlife Reserve/Ahuriri Wetlands area, back along Prebensen Drive through Tamatea/Taradale to the NZMCA site … decided we’d better do a few caches along the way … this cache was an easy find, log completed & replaced … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #3,425 for us.
Visiting from South Australia, grabbed a hire bike and hit the trails!
Found thanks to the hint

Got confused with sty and stile but finally corrected our thinking and located this cache quickly. Tftc
House and animal sitting for Mr Porks cousin. Love coming to the Bay. Did some caches this morning along the cycle way by the airport. Then back to the house for lunch. Then we hit the track again. Mr Pork found this one. While Mrs Puha was no where near the gz. Hahaha

Easy find, cache was a little damp. Tried to place so any liquid would drain. Nice spot for a little morning tea break. TFTC!

#12,644. A good walk in Poraiti, Napier. GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Quick find, even though it is about 11 metres away. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
Thanks for the placement, and for bringing us to this site, and …

Would have been quicker and possibly more interesting on bikes, but we were on foot. Super windy out but that kept us dry. TFTC.
Doing a circuit of the wetlands while we are in town grabbing a few caches as we go. Quick find at GZ.
Thanks for the placement goffyoffy.
Thanks for the placement goffyoffy.
Due to the MEGA postponement - DavidsonClan and I struggled to put together a weekend plan. The path of least resistance lead to a Squirrelnutcase & Fap'N'Gap adventure in Napier. My Alarm went off at 2:30am and caching started just before sunrise. We had an excellent day but due to a few DNF's - we'll be back. A big Thank You to the CO's for the virtual tour of your city.
Time for another long walk for these ones although this cache was found quickly and without fuss thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Ironically we found the key for the gates but decided it was best not to tempt fate. Cheers goffyoffy for keeping this one going & TFTC

we will have to return another day as we missed a few. still a great day.
great to use something old to hide a cache.

With (Mr) Davidson Clan, Gap (of Fap and Gap), and Philip.Perry. This line up was stitched together last night, just in time for our 4AM departure from Rotorua… We have planned another blitz of Napier caches. This should seriously tidy our geomap…
We should have started walking the cycle trail while we were parked nearby. Instead, we drove around the perimeter looking for an easier access route - All roads were gated and locked. There was no other way for us to approach these caches besides walking… We were surprised by the number of cyclists out here this afternoon. Obviously, the tracks are well used and appreciated. A quick, straight forward find here - Thanks goffyoffy and TFTC.

Long weekend plans to attend the Mega in Auckland we’re postponed due to lockdown in Auckland. We decided to do a day trip to Napier so it was an early start Philip.Perry picked me up just before 4am and we meet up with Squirrel Nutcase and Gap from Fap and Gap on the road out of Rotorua at 4am. Had a fairly mild day weather wise only a few DNF were logged the rest of the caches found mostly in good order. Thanks to all the CO’s for placing and maintaining your caches.
Had to look up the meaning of the hint haha. Still found it easily enough once I had googled it. GPS off by a few metres but other than that great stuff!
(# 6828) Day 3 of my Gisborne trip. Today was getting from Gisborne to Napier while the big storm blew through. A quick find. Thanks for bringing me here.
Out biking and grabbing a few caches..great open arms for biking and geocaching1thanks goffyoffy
So good to see this wetland restored. And great to be able to enjoy it on our bikes. Thanks for the placement. Goffyoffy
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland for our family Christmas. Today we cruised around Napier. Please excuse the generic logs, there have been a few finds and they get muddled up sometimes.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Visiting Napier for the weekend. Parked up nearby and got the bike out. Enjoyed the cycled around these new caches and the nearby Lab. Great to see so much bird life. Busy place with cyclist. Lots of oldies out on their ebikes. Cache all fine. Thanks
Some great wildlife to be seen here. A hawk ducked near here as we approached. Nice easy find thanks
The translater didn't want to tell me the hint while the coords today where a couple meter away. TFTC
Over here for the Art Deco Festival and out riding the trails before the good lady gets up
thanks for the palcement and a great weekend

Look at that water. Was a beautiful spot to have a sit down with Cee Vee while looking for cache. The breeze off the water as the day started to get hotter.
Out walking with Klaudia 8828, pleased there is a place to sit while looking for cache. The sun and heat was getting up a bit high at that time of the morning. Nice hide. Cheers.
I found the cache while doing a bicycle tour.
Thank you for the cache and many greetings from germany.

Got to the place where the geo cache was and there were 6 people up there looking at the view so continued on and we right around again. When we got back. They had left. We found the geo cache quickly as another group of bikers were coming. TFTC
Last cache today while out caching with my niece and nephews. My other nephew was excited to also get a home made key ring. Left coins, stone, dice and a Xmas pukeko figurine. SL TFTC
