In Millicent for a few days, off to Beachport today for an International Geocaching day event. TFTC
We had a surprise couple of days free so we decided to head across the border in an a but unfortunately that was .attempt to find our 10,000th South Australian cache. Happily we achieved that yesterday and today we are doing a few more around the Millicent area before heading to Beachport for the night. We had hoped to be at the Millicent Mega but COV!D 19 put an end to those plans. we even had a permit organized to cross the border revoked four days out. It's now a couple of years later and we are finally finding some of the caches that were put out for the event. and appreciate the effort gone into placing them.We had a great time picking them upMany thanks GeoVenture2020 for these caches.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Millicent for a few days to grab some finds placed for the ill fated Mega 2020. There have been some newer caches and puzzles collected too. Thanks for the hide. LNCU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are staying at Millicent and caching the surrounding countryside. Thanks for the cache. ?? LNCU
I am not sure what or where people found the cache as I could not see the container at GZ . It has been replaced and ready to find.
Found fairly easily, but no log inside any longer sadly so I took a picture of the container as proof.
Searched for a while but not much hope in such heavy grass and meter high canola Tftc
Day two on a SE SA short trip with The Morris.
About lunchtime we drove up to Beachport, and completed a few AdLabs and several caches.
Unfortunate. the pier was being worked on so we couldn't finish that AdLab.
On the way back to Tantanoola we completed the series along the channel.
We unloaded the deadly treadlies and rode the trail to the Bird hide, caching as we went.
Thanks, Robmc.

We headed over the border with Robmc, the campers and the bikes for 4 days of caching. We had a coupe of days of fabulous weather and the rain held off for most of it.
Day 2 we left our camp at Tantanoola and spent the morning in the pines and then headed to Beachport to do the AdLabs and tour around. On our way home we stopped here and rode our bikes around - a really lovely spot.
Thanks for contributing to a great few days of caching.

Away for a couple of days with Featherwaite.
We concentrated on Kingston, Robe, Cape Jaffa, Beachport and Southend.
We mainly found all the cache we were looking for.
A quick find, the grass is getting pretty long here.

TFTC GeocachingSA for your cache GVT-B-4 Rivoli Wetlands that we found today. After a hard day yesterday finding the GV2020 series we wanted a more relaxing day. We decided to head out to Beachport for a lunch of fish and chips and concentrate on Adventure Labs. We would also attempt any caches that we saw close by. A chilly day but rewarded by the coastal views.
This was one of the caches we had targeted.

Decided to do a spontaneous day caching trip seeing as the weather was kind and I had the day off. Should have trusted the coords here cause they were spot on but I was too skeptical

In the Millicent area for a few days, we are signing the logs as Vic1. Muzza made the find. Thanks for placing the cache GeocachingSA.
Today was day 3 of a Millicent blitz with McLookers, Alansee, BeckNmonts, Maccamob and Rabbitto, all signed as Vic1.
My thanks for the cache, GeoVenture2020.
My thanks for the cache, GeoVenture2020.
Found by Mary and David, in company with McLookers, beckNmonts, Alansee, muzza, and Rabbitto (signing as VIC1), at at 11:05. Day 3 of our trip, planned to tackle the many caches around Millicent, as we'd been locked down last year and unable to attend GV2020. Our thanks to GeocachingSA.
Over in SA again with a cut down group of geocaches compared to last time. We felt it was time this group of Victorians found some Millicent caches, as we were banned from the mega! We are signing the logs as Vic1. Thanks for the sometimes challenging caches GeocachingSA!
We found this cache today on our Millicent Meander - Day 3 in company of Maccamob, BecknMonts, McLookers, Alansee, and Muzza. Starting the day at Rendelsham. We signed the group as Vic1. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Found with a team consisting of BecknMonts, McLookers, Maccamob, Rabbitto, and Muzza. This was our third day in the area and was windy and cold again. We found fewer caches today but that is caching. Many thanks to the CO's for the placements.

Tuesday. On the slow return home from the fun of the Millicent 2021 mega and literally driving back from Mount Gambier to home. The coastal route was choosen and with the expected detours at cachers make mogni and myself only got as far as Beachport before the GPS's where turned off and it was a foot to the floor drive ( well speed limits where obeyed ) to we got back to mogni's house.
Quick find, but so far back and wedged in so tightly I had to go and get a tool to extract it from its hidey hole. Thank you, GeoVenture2020; cache #3954.
SA Mega weekend with sir_spectre, a huge weekend of catchups and hunting geocaches. At different times over the 5 day weekend we joined up with other teams caching as either the misfits or mystery randoms depending on the numbers of people and who organised.
Unfortunately the weather was very typical of the south east and put many teams off exporing the forests and some great creative caches were only found by a few teams.
For me this was a little bit different than for others as I lived in the south east for 15 years and worked in Penola, Millicent and Mount Gambier. Strangely this also meant I kept running into people I knew each day.
Lots of wildlife seen, wombats, echidnas, snakes, kangaroos and wallabies. Luckily the snakes in particular kept leaving the paths as we were walking.
Thanks to the Mega committee for all of their hardwork organising and the many locals who have placed and maintained caches (this includes me )
Thanks to GeoVenture2020 from mogni

The journey home begins. I’ve selected some badly needed caches to target on the way home, and we’ll see what else time allows.
This one greatly assists with my 360° from home challenge. Waders weren’t needed as I first thought. Thanks for this placement GeoVenture2020.

Thank you GeoVenture2020 for creating the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Day 2 of Millicent GeoVenture 2020 heading out with Wollaston, Liz & Bruce, Brad&Janet and JustaTrifle.
Day 2 is MEGA DAY and the weather is miserable but nothing was going to dampen our spirits, today’s mission was to boil a giant crayfish
Fueled up on delicious egg & bacon sangas, drinks and snacks stashed, we were on our way.
Along the way we kept our eyes peeled and managed to tick off a few trads and add some more smileys to our map.
Thanks to the many hands and minds putting together these series for the long awaited event.

Meandering up the Western Australia coast, the Northern Territory, and South Australia, we have finally arrived down south of SA.
Down the Highway and byways, tracks and trails, the geological, historical, the fun geocaches, traveling this great country through the eyes of a geocacher has lead us to some fantastic outlooks.
Thanks to all the COs for placing these Geocaches, it makes the Adventure more interesting.
We found your cache container, a nice quick find, and with signing duties done and dusted we replaced it as found.
Definitely a favourite point from us

This weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) nd I headed to the limestone coast / south-east for some sightseeing, mountain biking, and sinkhole diving. On Friday night, we stayed at Robe, seeing the famous obelisk the following morning. We then drove through Little Dip Conservation Park to Beachport, then Rendelsham, Hatherleigh, and staying in Millicent. On Sunday, we checked out Tantanoola and the Tantanoola Caves, mountain biked through Mount Gambier Forest and Browns Lake area, and finally on Monday, we dived Kilsby Sinkhole before driving back Telford Scrub Conservation Reserve and Penola. A great long weekend of sunny weather.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I explored a bit around Robe, and then headed through Little Dip Conservation Park to see some of the amazing coastline and have sun fun no the beaches and sandy tracks. From there, we spent a bit of time in Beachport, enjoying an afternoon ice cream, and then continued the coastal road south briefly stopping in Rendelsham followed by Hatherleigh, and then then checked in our Millicent accommodation. We finished our day with a Mayura Station three course dinner.
A nice little wetlands area that I hadn't stopped at / appreciated before. The cache was found after a few minutes of searching, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape, although the logbook is very full, and probably needs to be replaced. Thanks GeoVenture2020 committee for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/@jesswrigley stamp.

After spending the morning in Southend, I stopped by here on the way back to Millicent.
This was a bit sneaky but with the right TOTT that every geocacher carries, the cache was soon in hand.

Down in Millicent for the "Used 2B a Geoventure" celebration weekend.
Highlight of course was the mini mega gathering hosted by the longest serving mega committee (thanks for all your hard work guys and gals)
( Hopefully we'll be back for the big one when it's able to go ahead )
Teamed up with Sebastbat, and JEM.
A nice spot on the way back to Millicent.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache on this corner of our caching map GeoVenture2020

Stay safe out there, caches and their hidey holes can be dirty!
wash your hands, wipe down your cache gear,
sanitise, exercise, even wear a mask if hayfever season gets to you and
cache the countryside safely distanced at least a roo or an adult brown snake's length apart ! ! !
Have fun ! ! !

I had come down to Millicent for the long weekend and today it was organised to come caching with gridge98 and it turned into a big day with 74 caches found. [^] We started in Millicent headed towards Rendelsham, Southend and Beachport where we grabbed some lunch before making our way to Furner. Had a fun day finding lots of different caches with a few high terrain ones which is always a bonus for me.
When we arrived at this one we thought we might get wet but as it turned out it wasn't near the water.
Thanks for the cache GeoVenture2020.

We arrived and thought this one was in the water then a check of the coords and revealed it wasn’t. The cache was easily found and is all good
Today JJ52 and I set out from Millicent together to find all the caches around south end and beachport, we thought it would take all day but we were done by lunch time so we headed over to kangaroo inn to find all the caches in the area before attending my event back in town. Almost 80 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

The great Southeast Saunter with Anymules down to the Millicent area to find caches associated with the postponed GV2020 mega. But with leave organized and accommodation booked the caching trip was not postponed! [^]
Day 2: Today we decided to head westward taking in Rendelsham, then through Canunda National Park to Southend. Then it was east via some back roads and lanes to the Princes Highway, then back towards our Millicent base as once again darkness overtook us and it was time to call it a day. All up about 50 finds, 1 DNF and 3 non attempted as it was way to windy to be high up some of the trees.
The first place we checked had a likely spot but it was only an ants nest and they were none too happy about being disturbed. Luckily the cache was in the second place we checked.
***Thanks GeoVenture2020 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
