Had a family picnic in the park and then a short walk to find the cache. Didnt sign the log as I forgot my one. Great hide. TFTC
Meritonnn's local knowledge has meant that Google Maps was convenient but unnecessary today, here we were much quicker to find the pathway than I would have been on my own. Once at the location it seemed there weren't many options for hiding spots, and the first one I examined looked promising. I was about to reach for what I thought might be the cache when I saw something suspicious and realised it was merely around the cache.I used to live somewhere backing onto a small reserve and rarely found the comings and goings an annoyance, but I've sometimes wondered what it's like to be next to a path like this.
Coordinates changed from:S 34 0.804 E 150 52.389Coordinates changed to:S 34 0.787 E 150 52.413Distance from original: 159.2 feet or 48.5 meters.The council decided to move the cache location so it has been moved to a nearby location.
The hint didn’t help me at all ?? but I sort of knew where to look and after a few minutes of touching and feeling I located the cache! still in great condition. TFTC
Walked across from Black Digger, wondering what I would find here. Happily the grass has recently been mowed so it was an easy stroll even in the dark.
I was pretty sure I knew what the clue referred to, and I was right. The cache was in hand almost immediately - literally in the second place I looked.
The cache and log are both in very good condition. The snap lock bag is starting to look tired, but it's still whole for now.

A quick find as I spotted it on approach. All quiet here today as it is about to rain. TFTC
In the first spot I checked, not sure how naming this reserve “Digger Black Reserve” would be approved nowadays
Find number 7213
A nice quick easy find while caching in the area
Thanks Aussiebrian for placing this cache

Like lots of parks the council has lots on their plate to do lots of mowing with all this long grass . My shoelace came undone walking through the long grass . Tied it up as I arrived at GZ . Perfect spot for hiding a cache . TFTC Aussiebrian
Easy find, but log is very damp. Just got date & initials on it. Needs replacing. TFTC Aussiebrian
After spending a night in Goulburn, I joined MinnieK and Fitzy_1965 for a day trip to Sydney for a Community event and a bit of other caching before coming home again. It threatened rain all day, but it hardly got wet when we were outside of the car. After the events, there were a few more DNFs than I like, but suburban areas are so hard to keep caches going.
We found this one loose on the grass, and the magnet seems to be missing so it is only lightly hidden.
Thanks for the cache Aussiebrian

Today fitzy_1965, Albida33 and I headed up to Sydney for a Community Celebration Event and the following CITO being held at Simmos Beach.
It was nice to join in with fellow cachers that we have met before and some new ones. Despite being humid, the weather was kind and it only sprinkled a little. Coming home was a different story though.
Before leaving Sydney, we cached around Ingleburn. Managed to pick up another ten so made for a nice day out.

27,114. Found with minniek and albida33 and a fair crowd of other cachers all attending the nearby Community Celebration Event.
Another trek up the Hume for a Sydney Community Celebration Event. I've never visited that reserve before and with better weather (and cleaner water flowing past) it would be a lovely spot for a BBQ. There were a number of cachers already here when we rocked up, with quite a few adding to the numbers after us. Nice to sit and chat for a while before the CITO started. Once we had done our bit we started heading home via a bunch of Traditionals around the Ingleburn area. This was a straight forward find as it was out in the open. Signed the wet log, replaced the cache in the nearest hidey hole, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Aussiebrian !!

Streak Day #3116 - Out this way with Dave8153 for a quick find but an empty container. TFTC
#8143 (1 of 9 today - including 5 Lab Caches)
Started with two DNFs this afternoon, but thankfully ended with four finds plus five Lab Cache Points of Interest to up the calendar finds.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Finally found one! Lying on the ground in the open with a damaged container.
Signed and replaced it where I expected it would go.

Yep this park is big enough for a couple of caches and with no success over at Digger Black and a muggle watching I decided to drive round to this one rather than walk across the park.
Good choice as it began to rain, misty sort of stuff.
Parked the geomobile near a path between the houses and walked down. Now I spent about 5 years, maybe more working on a merino farm so I know all about that hint!
As the casual help I was often the one who had to do that job.
A quick look around and I could see the cache, maybe it had been under water during the recent rain?? Anyway ants were now surrounding it. Possibly it provided some protection for their nest entry point.
The log was completely dry so after signing the log I fought off the ants and replaced the cache.

Must have ticked off the other cache nearby years ago as just the one smiley in the park this trip. Clue made sense once cache spotted.
Decided to head southwest today, explore a new area and stretch my legs.
A space definitely worth two caches, thank you

So on a midnight geoventure enjoying the fact that no one is around and also the lovely night. Headed over to this reserve to grab a couple of finds that we’re quick and easy . I checked the hint as I made my way to gz and can relate as I am on property. This made me giggle. I headed right up to it and with a flash of my torch I had CIH. I completed signing duties and replaced as I found it. Cheers AussieBrian, TFTC!
After completing the recent Adventure Lab in the area there was time to grab a few traditional caches in the area also owned by the same CO. Had to fight off the ants here as someone has dropped a very colourful lolly at gz which is very popular with the ants. TFTC Aussiebrian.
Out with Mrs A for a day caching in the area.
Once again it was Mrs A that did it. Ants still chasing the cake and I had to brush a few off. TFTC Aussiebrian.

Found it easy enough but there were a few thousand ants to contend with all vying to get their piece of dropped cake to impress the queen.
The boss was away for the weekend so took the opportunity to pick up some local caches.

A few hours left over after doing an AL in Campbelltown had me picking up caches in the area, all quick and easy finds.

We had parked at the RSL about 500m away, halfway between two caches that we wanted to visit, and walked to them. A nice and quiet area. TFTC
Arrived at GZ and found cache on the ground. Log all ok. Signed and placed higher then T1.5. Suggest CO check ASAP, thanks.
Quick find with Deep_99 to keep the streak going while “exercising” by taking the geodogs for a walk. SL #4445 on streak day #2830 TFTC
For future reference you can access GZ from Chester St. An easy find in a park where I’ve found another cache.
This was my first find!
At first i was looking at things like trees and ontop but i stood back and saw the bigger picture. Took me about 5 mins but i got it!
Unfortunately i did not have a pen but thats okay!!

An early start to the day, too early for clients, so a detour brought me here for a quick find. TFTC
