As a direct replacement cache is no longer available at this spot, I'm still awaiting a response from the national park regarding another cache placement nearby, so I know where the minimum distance boundries will be for me to replace this cache in a suitable location nearby. Cache should be replaced a day or two after I get a response regarding my geocache application.
Disabling for now as the surface the cache was on has been completely removed. Looking to replace within the next few weeks.
After a lovely walk around the Otford area today, we came to visit this Hide and watch a few of the nearby hang gliders. An extensive search with four sets of eyes did not reveal the goods for us today. Thanks Domsky
Nice camo! We came in from Otford station, via the Dark Side of the Moon. A great day and cool cache to finish on. Thanks!

Currently staying at the Stawell Tops Conference Centre and ducked out between the last session and going to bed trying to find a cache that doesn't involve dancing around a cliff in the dark. It was probably easier to do this at night though you feel very exposed the moment you switch on your torch. Quick find. Logbook is full.TFTC
Found in about 10 seconds It took me longer to get it off than you actually find it log book almost full.
This probably would have taken us a lot longer had we not found a geocache very similar to this in the city not that long ago. Spotted the familiar, very effective camo and knew immediately we needed to investigate further. Geonewbie brother and nieces however could not find it even with a generous nudge in the right direction. Very nicely done. TFTC and Happy New Year!

Very effluent camo, but seen something similar before, so not as difficult!
It was wonderful to catch up with 10011010 and AsTheCrowFlys' and make it an outing with SueDan83. I wanted to call our team "Dan's 154Ukes" but I was outvoted. The plan was to do "The Dark Side Of The Moon" and any ALs and caches nearby. The weather was gorgeous, the caches great and the company awesome... we talked nonstop... couldn't have planned a better day.
Phew... most of the area here has been blocked off... except around the cache. Nice camo. Thanks

Apologies for the late log.
With today being my birthday, naturally I decided that a day of caching on the coast would be much more enjoyable than a day spent at work! Unfortunately geo mate SueDan83 had to pull out at the last minute, but Sensible Sis and I jumped in the Meritonnn geo-mobile and headed down to Helensburgh/Stanwell Tops. It was a cracking day, with some great walks, great views, great caches and great company!
GZ looked to be blocked off by temporary fencing, so we initially tried to access via a very dodgy and scratchy route. Thankfully we soon realised we actually could get to GZ via a more straightforward path. Once there, we circumnavigated GZ and I managed to hone in on the cache. Definitely does help if you've found this type before. Very nicely done. TFTC!

The plan for the day was for Dan of SueDan83 to chauffeur Meritonnn and I around to find some caches in the Stanwell Tops area. Unfortunately he was unable to make it so it was just down to the two of us. A good day was had with perfect weather, a number of finds and cupcakes to celebrate Meritonnn's birthday.
A short drive from the last lot of caches.
Some of the nearby area was roped off but GZ was still accessible.
We both circled GZ and Meritonnn quickly spotted what I had missed.

First cache in the state of New South Whales, have visited the state many teams but only relatively recently have become a geocacher. Took our time driving up the coast, taking in the scenery and grabbing a few caches. TFTC!
Doing the Gong Ride again, (13th-16th time...not sure)...but so happy to have a series of caches along the route. Did not find them all, but that leaves some for next year!
Found while the police watched on...or did they? We were waiting for the ride down the steep hill, so had a good amount of time to find and sign. TFTC

On our way to the South Coast for a few days, very busy up here today, very lucky to get a parking. Circled the object a couple times until a familiar camo revealed itself.

#8679 (1 of 11 today)
This is one of seven calendar days where I only have 14 finds. Don't judge me... So as my goal for this year is 16 calendar loops I need some finds today. Regardless of the weather.
Well, it seems the Calendar Caching Gods not only required propitiation today but also a ritual washing. With the rain today, I'd say my Geocaching sins have been well and truly washed away! I'm just glad given the forecasts that I don't need a lot of finds tomorrow.
So as I've been aiming to get 20 finds most days, I was hoping for a minimum of six finds, but more is better. Just depends when the rain - or my sogginess level - gets too high.
As it was I made 11 finds along Lawrence Hargreaves Drive, and collected info for two multis. And remembered to check recent logs so I bypassed a few that were MIA. And almost beat the heavy rain before getting back to The Shire.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Started with this one - and there was parking close by.
Quick find of this one once I walked the short distance to GZ. The grab was a little harder - that attachment really didn't want to let go.
Added my ink to the log, replaced and off to the next one.

So wet here today , can’t tell the sky from the ocean, quick dash from car to cache and back, easy find, all in good repair ! Tftc!
A beautiful and stunning spot even in the rain. Pen ran out of ink as I was writing my name. TFTC
On my visit to Bald Hill to check my cache I realised I should have collected this one. The GPS was a bit unsteady and led me on a bit of a merry chase but a perusal of logs gave enough information to zero in. A bit of a circular dance eventually revealed the location.
All is good with the cache. Thanks Hipperooni

Lucky to have a large LGA during lockdown and a few safe options on standby for emergencies, escaped the house for some desperately needed mental health “exercise” on a self-isolated drive around my northern border. Visiting waypoints for an AL, managed to also include a few muggle-free traditionals towards the August Peak Challenge. Nearby carparks all blocked off, meaning no need for social distancing but a busy intersection with drive-bys, meant timing the easy grab and sign to avoid looking out of place.
Quick find with Deep_99 to keep the streak going. SL #4795 on streak day #3126 TFTC
quick find with Ris768 while out for a drive thanks Hipperooni for placing & maintaining this cache

Out with Nana nel to get caches that would bring our count for today up to 5 as part of a personal challenge set for us by Grub Fred.
Great views from here, visited trackables.

TFTC , quick find after a quick stop on our way to the Gong. By the way, pretty cache .
Raincoat on, time to brave to the wild weather and find some local caches on a morning off in Wollongong's northern suburbs.
Cheers

Spent the day caching in the Sutherland and Helensburgh areas. Found a variety of caches despite the wet weather. Notably, I picked up lots of leeches along the way! Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to this recreational activity.
Found in seconds and took minutes to remove. TFTC!

Took us a while.
It's a sneaky hide!
The snake in the bush canopy was a bit of a distraction too.
Thanks for the cache.

Out on the usual late/early adventure with Littl3Vix and we were in the area to get the new cache not far up the road and decided to see if we could find some more while we were here. After parking in the nearby car park and wandering on down, I let Littl3Vix go for this one since my geosenses started tingling immediately. She found it just as quick as I would have thanks for the sneaky cache and lovely views!
On another late night geoventure with Mizcupcake to get a new trad we saw pop up today in the area. Luckily we got to that as a joint first to find and have decided to continue on. We stopped for this one on the way home. And to enjoy the amazing view tonight of Wollongong. Parking the geomobile in the small carpark and heading over to gz, this was a quick find. We both saw a great spot and headed over to have CIH. I do love this camo, not the first time I’ve seen it. TFTC!
A great afternoon to get out and do some caching. It'd been quite some time since I'd cached in the northern suburbs so there was plenty to choose from. What I should have realised is, being a weekend it'd be very busy with plenty of muggles to spoil my hunt.
Nonetheless I bagged a handful of caches for my afternoon in the northern suburbs.
A nice easy find.
Thanks

Curiosity did not kill the cacher today. But nearly has on other occasions. Quick find at GZ. The second one of these type I have found this week. TFTC
Quick stop, easy parking, quick find, but very hard to get the log!!

Did a lap of the structure before having a closer look at one spot (which I only had a cursory look of) and soon found the cache. Bit of effort to get to the log but no problems in the end. TFTC!
Nicely placed. After 5000 finds, we are starting to work things out, sometimes. A nice hide. Good coords. TFTC
Headed out to grab one of the new local caches here. easy find with some nice camo. Great to see a few newies appearing in the area. TFTC Hipperooni.
Got told by Mrwhiskers76 that a new cache had been published at the spot where all of us young locals drive to when we have nothing else to do XD
I looked on my phone when i arrived, but to my disbelief no new caches were on my phone screen.
After looking over and over on my phone I saw that another cacher had just found some other caches near by. After sitting in the car for about ten minutes I saw someone appear out of an odd spot.
So i asked if she was caching and to my relief she was looking for the same one! After telling her what was happening she points me in the general direction of the cache.
A little while after searching without any hints or coordinates I soon had the cache in hand. Excellent camo, a bit tricky however retrieving it with fake nails.... Cheers for a great cache!

I seen this go live today but I busy caching out west so I couldn’t get back in time for the first to find but I did find it right on sunset. Very clever camo didn’t take long to find thanks to good coordinates. Thanks for the cache!
