This is the fourth in this series that we have found. And the fifth will be the closest to home. But today we made a very specific detour on our trip from Lakes Entrance to Bacchus Marsh. The toughest part of this was trying to find a legal place to park the geomobile along with the house on wheels we were towing. Extra D earned for the hike back to the GZ. Cache found, log signed and all returned as found.Oh, yes. We do qualify. [Brad&Janet](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Brad%26Janet) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GC8JKC5/48489 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did. They were connected with 7 regions. They were connected with 366 counties.Brad and Janet are on another epic trip. This time across South Australia to Broken Hill. Then through central and Northern NSW and up into Qld where we will be picking up a new hybrid house-on-wheels. Then we will head south down through more of NSW via Sydney to catch up with B2. Then further south until we get into Victoria from where we will head back into South Australia. Along the way we will grab caches of opportunity.
Mrs Riddell was laying in bed in Airbnb this morning, having solved most of the pink piggy series and looking for more puzzles to solve and stumbled on this cache.
Never did she think that we would qualify for this cache.
There was sheer delight and surprise at the green light tick on this one and the other ones in the series too!!
So only being about 5 km away at Officer this was the first cache to obtain today!
TFTC and an interesting challenge… you never know what you can qualify for.
When found the cache was wet inside but the container was squashed at the neck and the lid was off. Mr Riddell did some fast “ panel beating” and ensured a tight waterproof seal again.
The log is well protected in its bag with lots of signatures waiting for qualification.
We feel so happy and lucky.
Never know what you can stumble on!!’TFTC
We fulfill this challange!

Second attempt. Finally, find it. The container is crash, so the cache needs a new one as i didn't have the size.. . Before the winter season is coming,

Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

A trip to check out all the awesome places in eastern Victoria. TFTC.
I have signed a few of the other Indian-Pacific caches. The first time I treked from one side to the other I missed one LGA out near Kalgoorlie. I ended up doing a 600km trek the next week to get that one. Next thing I knew I was collecting all the LGAs one the way there and another set on the way back. I have since collected over 450 of these and haven't yet left the mainland. Now off to get some more.

I came across this cache a few days ago and to my surprise I qualified.
I've covered Victoria pretty well, and trips to the Flinders Ranges, the Alice Springs almost a Mega, and the Gibb River Road all lined up LGAs nicely to get me across the line, and the country, and qualify.
Today I had a quiet period in the afternoon, and was about to leave when a terrific rainstorm happened. I thought I'd put off until another day, but it soon cleared and I decided to push on. As soon as I'd gone a couple of kms, things dried up completely, then got very wet, and dried up again as I neared Berwick.
The area at GZ was pretty dry, and I soon found the cache, and signed the log book.
**Thanks for placing this cache firesafe**

I heard about this group of challenges at an event in Adelaide and was immediately on board. I think Adelaidians have a bit of an advantage here as we can break the mission into two chunks. I have since done two Perth to Adelaide road trips, but on one of them I failed to connect the LGAs. Beware Jerramungup!! No caches on the highway.
A great challenge, thanks Firesafe, now I have to work on south to north. FP given.

Hmmm, an hour to spare in Melbourne, what should we do? A quick check of my “Melbourne caching to do list” A calculation that this one will add a 60km diversion and we’re off. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC firesafe

We were very close by when our phones all went "ping". This cache popped up but did we qualify. Not us but some in our midst did. As we were sampling some of the days acquisitions, GT37 drove us around so the Micaparamedic could grab himself an FTF and we could put a write note in in the hopes that we may one day qualify. Thanks for the challenge. Hopefully not too far off.
Definitely don't qualify for this one but hope to one day. Happy to add my name and drive Micaparamedic and Papi4506 to this one, as I don't think they would have been legally allowed to. Thanks for the challenge.
Was close by when this was published. Headed out with GT37 and Papi4506. I have checked on Project-GC and I do qualify for ths challenge and was pleased to see a blank logbook. After caching in Moe today, dinner consumed and a few relaxing drinks, I was in no fit state to drive to the location but GT37 was, thanks GT37 for driving us.
