Nice easy find . the rain is holding off but a bit potential. TFTC and taking me to this park.
Another late sprint out for a few caches. This is a very clever hide. Log was a little damp but no issues - it will dry out as the heat starts hitting. After todays discussion about different peoples devices regularly showing different distances to GZ (at the geocacher meetup), it wont surprise the CO that this one was 4 metres out on our gps . We enjoyed finding this one. FP for the clever hide. Tftc.
This was a nice little find on our car excursion in the area. Had a nice walk around this park and found some caches. If we come back we'll have to do the other puzzle.
While at the event, my good wife walked off with a few of the girls . Signed log as team Bugaras.
Travelled to the Coral Coast with RoddyC and Hatzofff to stay for a few days and find as many caches as possible. Today we cached as the BUGARAS - with GEM_54 and chamadCache located, log signed by all and replaced as found TFTC
A planned weekend away to Bundaberg and a visit to Gladstone to check on the property to see how far it has advanced. It all started with the usual friday afternoon traffic crawl. I had left my run a little tooo late and it was not until Gympie before it seemed to flow a little better, so many people going away.Today I got to join a few other cachers to walk around the Barolin Nature and Pastoral Reserve. There were some very good caches and a few that had us searching for longer than we liked. We even walked to a few of the outer lying caches and drove to a few others. This was a great walking area and just a simple set of trails to follow. I enjoyed our walk around today, thank you. We signed the logs as "Bugaras" to save time and space, sorry for the generic log. After our walk it was time for the local event. It was awesome to see how many people turned up for the event. I was put on BBQ duties and enjoyed the time on the grill. With the threat of rain I still managed to get out after the event and grab three nearby caches.
Cache found quickly and log signed and of to find another Thanks for the cache Cheers from Tumut NSW
I came here this morning to replace the log sheet but decided to replace the container as well. I came prepared with a new container just in case and I used it. All good to go. Have fun.
While at the Event we visited this cache. Found the original by Ozibags. Given permission to log cache. Thanks youngoldfella. All good with this cache
Very close to home and I was driving past on my way home from checking Trees up No 1. This one is where it is supposed to be. Read the description and additional hint. Cache is beneath a cap.
After a good scratch around we couldnt locate it. Hope its still there somewhere. Next time!
Found with my beautiful wife geomum007. Me thinks a Highland Fling is in order TFTC
Out this morning doing a few caches with hubby who has decided to join up and become a cacher. Quick find, nice and quiet at GZ. TFTC!
I suffer from tremors and I was unable to get the paper out or write on it due to the size. I know the description states its a small container but a size that small isnt disability friendly
I found it yesterday but the log was soaking wet & in 20 pieces so I came back today & replaced log. All good for another 12 months,
Short stroll for a quick find as I have seen similar hides previously. TFTC
Hi there youngoldfella, we found your cache Soldier's (crabs) in the Estuary
Day four of our Back to Bundy trip, and we’re continuing our northward sweep of caches up the coast.
We started off by heading to an Earth Cache and then took a route that was determined (mostly) by the next closest cache as determined by our GPS.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area and ended up finding a variety of container types, sizes and ratings.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Good.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Took ages to get it out.
It's our second full day in Bundaberg during our short caravan trip.
We solved jigsaws and mysteries well ahead if possible and collecting the Infos for the other ones.
It's a wonderful variety of caches here, and the weather beautiful.
Thanks to all COs for placing the caches for our fun.

This one had come adrift from its tether, but Mrs SKI retrieved it with a TOTT.
Our first full day in Bundaberg. We decided to head out to Bargara and see how many caches we could find along the coast and surrounds. This included 2 Adventure Labs, puzzles and traditionals. These were mixed in with great scenery and some interesting nature reserves.
Combined with the lunch we had it was another great day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache youngoldfella.

Great little hiding spot! Took more time to extract the cache than find it though tftc!
I'm so angry at this cache. I was there for so long and I just feel silly not finding it. I don't understand. I checked the trees
Our first full day of geocaching in the Bargara area. Wandered over to GZ but couldn't retrieve the cache container, so returned to the car to get a TOTT and then the cache was soon in hand. Should have read the description first!! TFTC youngoldfella
Out and about in Bargara today, finding a few caches. After finding a nearby cache, I headed to this one. Another quick find and sign here, thanks to accurate coords and a helpful hint. TFTC

TFTC. We were in Bargara for a catch up event in this Park. We were early so we took the opportunity to locate the three caches in the park. All good with the caches and good coordinates.
Today our plan was to go and do a huge lot of the T.A.F. caches, somehow this did not eventuate. What we did find ourselves doing was having a lovely drive around the area. Today we started close in to Bundaberg and worked our way out in an ever widening arc. All bar one of the caches were found as per yesterday as the co-ords were great. Again we thank all the cache owners for placing the caches in areas that had safe parking for us. We found one TB today and again the caches had good swag for the little ones.

After a lovely weekend on Fraser Island, thought I would continue up the coast and visit a few small towns that I've never been to before heading back home to the Gold Coast.
Learnt a little bit about these cute little crabs once near GZ and where the beaut hide was located.

Rode the neuron scooter along the path as close as I could. Walked the rest of the way down. Read the hit and didn't get it. looked around and decided to try pull some stuff at GZ and what do ya know a cache. Tftc
With overseas travel currently out of the question and state border closures still a lurking as possibilities, my family and some close friends decided that travelling to North Queensland was our best option for a Christmas/New Year escape. Leaving Brisbane this morning, our destination for today was Bundaberg, with a number of caches on our itinerary along the way.
I had actually scheduled the caches in Bagara and surrounds for tomorrow, but we had made such good time today that we had plenty of time left for a drive to the coast after checking in to our accommodation. My daughter is by no means an enthusiastic participant in geocaching but she has agreed to humor me on this trip. In order to keep things interesting, we have decided on a competition to see who can be the first to spot the most containers each day. Arriving at GZ I had a fair inkling of where the cache was hidden and agreed to a truce on the competing as I knew she would not be familiar with this type of find. A rewarding experience as I was able to broaden her geocaching experience with this hide. TFTC

Found after attending the 20 year event thanks for a good night nice meeting you
Our very first find!! No soldier crabs today! Tricky for us, but we searched within and found the test tube after a little while!
The container is there and I saw it easily. Do not forget to take a TOTT ( tool of the trade) like a multi grip tool or tweezers to ease the container from its hide.
Many thanks to Catchdemnuts for advising me of a little problem with this one. Now fixed. You will need a log extraction tool and please replace the container as found.
We are in Bundy for a few days.
Woohoo. A blank log sheet for a *FTF*. Nice brisk walk from the parking area and the cache was soon in hand.
Log signed and replaced on March 5, 2020 at 8:39 AM. TFTC, youngoldfella.

After parking in the picnic area it was an easy 150 metre walk to the indicated GZ. Once there, a quick search had the container in hand and the log signed. It took longer to re-fold the log sheet and insert it back into the tube than it took to make the initial retrieval. TFTC youngoldfella. Cheers from Bindair Dundat.
