Due to increased muggle activity in the area and the very infrequent use of this cache as a TB Hotel, we have decided to archive this cache. Thanks to all who found the cache.
Adelaide to Hobart Road Trip.
Day Four: Devonport to Queenstown.
Weather: I was worried that it might actually snow.
A bit of a mess here. The lid was completely off, cache full of water, some of the contents (still in ziplock bags) outside the cache. The log is still usable. There was neither of the two listed TBs as far as I could see, but a separate one that I have taken with me (turns out it hasn’t been activated, and has no code, so I’m guessing is useless?).
I’ve done what I can on the fly, but this one might need a bit of a spring clean when the COs return from SA - it’s currently not the sort of cache I’d want to put a TB in.
Always a pleasure to find a “large”, thanks for this one 2y’stassies.
It’s officially a mega.

After coffee and icecream at the berry patch, we stopped to grab this smiley and claim a few TB's . TFTC
Before heading down the beach I thought I’d visit the TB Hotel only to find no TB’s!! Well, we can’t have that, so I checked in a few trackables for a stay in this large hotel

Day 3 of my Tasmanian Odyssey and I’m out with a muggle friend to enjoy a drive along the north coast…
As the day has gotten away from us, this was the last find of the day… a quick find of this good sized container…
Unfortunately, none of the listed TBs were in residence, so was reluctant to leave any others here…

RoadieM and I are having our first ever dedicated geocaching holiday together, targeting caches in the north west of the state. It's a much needed break and we have enjoyed our stay at Turners Beach. We had a great walk along the pathway to Ulverstone today, came home for a late afternoon rest and then back out before dinner to get a couple of local caches we missed the last night because it got too dark.
We located this nicely sized cache quickly. Looked for the TB's amongst the numerous swaps, TNLN, stamped the log and replaced as found.
PLEASE NOTE; Unfortunately none of the 8 caches listed in this cache are there, which is so disappointing and frustrating that people (either cachers or muggles) just take them. Wasn't confident to leave a TB here.

tassietan and I have planned a caching getaway together for some time. We decided to go further afield and after looking around we were drawn to the north coast and the myriad of caches in the area.
We are staying in accommodation nearby and came this way to find a couple of puzzle caches we have solved before leaving home.
The cache was an easy find, but sadly there is not one trackable inside, despite the lengthy list of TBs allegedly in the cache. It seems a real shame to have a TB hotel where all the deposited TBs go missing.
Thanks for the cache 2y'stassies.

Me and a fellow user, Jodianne1974, teamed up to find our first geocache. If was decently fun, and hidden in a good spot.
Coordinates changed from:

Coordinates changed to:
S 41° 9.734 E 146° 14.190
Distance from original: 121.0 feet or 36.9 meters.
The cache has been shifted because the block next to the original hide is being levelled and is likely to become a building site.

The cache container has been tidied and has been replaced in a slightly different location because of the pre-building activity adjacent to the original hide..
As we were on a maintenance run this morning, we saw that this cache had not been closed properly at some stage and it us wet. We have taken the cache home to "spring clean" and will return it very soon.
I fortunately lid was off, cache exposed
Log was in bag so dry

A quick drive by found with the purpose to move on a trackable. A nice large container, but no other trackables were on offer. SL TFTC 2y'stassies.
Hi 2y'stassies, thanks for the cache.
Found after visiting the VW Day at the nearby Berry Patch, by my mostly-muggle cousin as I'd walked past to look "round the other side"!
Sadly there are no TBs in residence and the hotel is accumulating undesirable clientele, what I'd call "rubbish" or at best "unattractive swag".
On the plus side the container is in good nick, and the hint and coordinates are most helpful.
Logbook is nice and dry, but I did re-house it in what I assumed to be its bag.
Up this way on another Venturer transport to Fulton Park, but then catching up with extended family rather than making it a geocaching trip. I'm not sure who's more sad about that, my usual caching travel mate or me! I couldn't begin to count my unfound caches that we've driven or walked past today.
Thanks for the adventure though.
Cheers, EPs.

Great little cache…my first one! Was delighted to find this one locally. Great first find!
Great cache size! Have been carrying around a large trackable (a Bruce Lee figurine) since Hobart (on way back from Mt Wellington). But he was too large to fit in most caches. As for cache, it took me heaps longer to find than it should have! Especially a cache of that size! Ended up with two very wet jeans on both knees (it has been raining with a severe weather warning of 60km/h to 70km/h winds. And gusts of 80km/h to 90km/h. But winds in Stanley (where we are travelling from) are much worse today. Enjoy the Berry Farm up the road but $14 for 2 containers of strawberries and/or raspberries was too much for us to pay!
NOTE FOR CACHE OWNER: perhaps this cache needs to be changed to premium? I’m concerned that there are 17 trackables that seem to have gone missing from here. And there were no trackables in cache today (except the “They Call Me Bruce” one I just added. I am worried he will get lost??
TO OTHER CACHERS: If you take Bruce from the cache, please be sure to log this!

Made a quick find tftc.
But looking at the logs, the cacher that has made a 'find' on the 1 Jan, needs to go back and sign the log book.

Great to find a large cache. No swaps for me today.
Thank you for the cache

Dropped in to collect some trackables to take to the main land but the cache didn't have any in it.
Dropping a couple of tags, Given to 2y'stassies in July and have been advised they were dropped into this cache
Called in to grab a trackable or two to take down to Scamander next week but none to be found today. Left a few swaps. Hopefully we might be able to drop our next trackable off (when we find it ) after our trip. TFTC, we look forward to visiting again soon.

out and about with Lil Rafa caching and placing this travel bug in the Hotel for the night Please someone pick me up and take me away.
Thanks for the cache 2y'stassies.
RLD4963 and I are back on the northwest coast for a couple of days. We both have been carrying around some trackables for a while now, so we decided that this cache was must today so we could drop them off. No trouble finding the cache, now time to head off to our accommodation!

Aquilus1 and I have been on a mission.....a mission to collect Australian states/counties. The target this time was Tasmania, with neither of us having found a cache yet in Tassie. So a loop was planned, starting/finishing in Lonny (even the plane pilot called it this!! Love that!). I was driving so my logs are a little more generic than Aquilus1's, my apologies.
Day #1 Leave Canberra at sparrows, transiting through Melbourne and collecting our car....first things first was to get the oldies along the cataract gorge, which was great as Aquilus1 had never been to Tassie before and its a great place to start. Onwards up the Tamar and then zigzagging across through Devonport, Burnie and eventually ending at Stanley.
Day #2 had us go back to Devonport for a FTF......yay! Then onto Hobart, via Queenstown! Long day through blizzards, hydro power and SO MUCH NOTHING! Beautiful nothing of course
Day #3 around Tassie.....into Huon valley, freezing to death in the water in Clarence, passed Port Arthur to see some caves and ending up in Sorrell
Day #4 was power trailing large letterboxes until we had to head back north to Lonny, via Buckland, Oatlands, Fingal and Scottsdale..... dodging wildlife after dark.....so scary!
Day #5 was a quick duck over to Flinders and back..... car rental place thought we were nuts! Then back to Canberra, safe and snug under my blanket for the -5 night.....now THATS cold!

Trip log: Day 1 of our 5 day Tassie caching trip. With GreyHams we left Canberra very early and landing in Launceston it was a full day caching through till Stanley where we stopped for the night having found accomadation available.
Counties where our priority and with GreyHams awesome trip planning we had a list featuring some very select caches... as is always the case with our trips, if your cache made our list it had a quality we wanted, oldies, larges, counties, Jasmer loops featured high.
Snippets of history and scenic locations appeared through the day. It must be said it was damn cold at times yet some earlier walks had us down to T-shirts and the rain luckily passed through during one of the long drive stretches! The Esk river was great as was the Kimberley warm springs, so great to finally visit Tasmania, a first for me. Thanks for your cache that guided us on a full and enjoyable day!

Over from Melbourne on a post lockdown mini break visiting my partners family. We spent the day getting lost looking for Liffey Falls, climbing said waterfall then joined up with some family at the Berry Patch for an early birthday dinner. During a lull in the festivities we stuck away to find this cache, my newbie partners second find. Thanks for the cache, contents are dry, a couple of the trackables listed were gone and 2 more added so I think someone else visited today and is yet to log.
Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers and stopped to find this cache. All good at GZ. TFTC
Today we travelled to the NW coast with whitewebbs collecting caches along the way and this was one of them.
Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Dropped a trackable that recently arrived so that it could start its journey around Tasmania.
Came the other day and could not find it... today it was really noticeable and easily found
This one took me a while - and when I finally spotted it, I couldnt work out how I could have missed it. Took a couple of trackables with me for the journey to the south
Revisited Turners Beach Trackable Hotel and retreaved trackable CBEB29 also found geocoin "Lennox Legs" I will redrop later.
With GeoMaggie2. Everything clean and tidy. Found, stamped and replaced, with Maggie and Mollie, my GeoWesties, while roaming around Tasmania with our motorhome “Mylittlebus” looking for content for our TASMANIA ALL OVER facebook. Join us there. Thanks for placing this cache (and others), keeping us on our exploring toes.
Following the DNF by the experienced 63ROOS, we went to check this and two other caches this evening. We located the cache as soon as we arrived and our GPS indicated that we were with 1m of the coordinates. So all is well here.
