Thanks jowiba for this geocache. What a great view it has of shark bay. Prettiest town on the west coast of Aus, imo,
Tftc.staying in Denham for a few days with friends. As we have dogs, we decided to explore via caches
A quick find in a nice spot. One and a half months in our tour across the centre.TFTC
Mr S went straight to the cache and it was no problem for him. We had a pleasant walk on the beach afterwards, TFTC.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 89 - Denham Day 3. I had a great day in the National park yesterday and today was another chance for a mornings drive to do a few caches to the south. Before I went I fund the second and final cache in Denham. Next I visited the Eagle Bluff Cliffs where another great boardwalk and lookout has been placed since my last trip to the area. I then went to the resort of Nanga to check out the beach and the very distant sea grass beds. There were a few scattered showers as I drove beck to Denham and on to the Francis Peron Homestead for my daily trip to the hot tub. The cloud curtailed the sunset from the deck and I retreated inside to cook dinner. Tomorrow is a day boat trip to Dirk Hartog Island, I am looking forward to that. With plenty of peopled own on the beach following after their furry masters, I sat in the shelter and had a goo look around. I had to stretch a fair bit, but I could just reach the cache to extract it and sign the log. Now for a quick morning tea and off down south. Thanks for the cache jowiba48648.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Dragon A#44**Albida**
There's an advantage in being phone cachers.. we get to see a satellite image of the clear turquoise water in this area and it's stunning! Finding the cache was close to that pristine water. While MrG let his fingers do the searching we watched a little kid casting his line. I'm nowhere near as good at it as that kid... TFTC jowiba.
On our travels we found ourselves in Denham and took the opportunity to grab a few caches, thanks goodness 62 geo hubby was on the job and th cache was soon in hand, thanks for placing this fun cache
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia for a little over four weeks. We spent three nights on the Steep Point/Carrarang and Peron Peninsulas, staying at Shelter Bay for a night and Big Lagoon in Francois Peron National Park for the following two nights. Enjoyed visiting this scenic area finding a variety of caches around Denham, out to Cape Peron and across to Monkey Mia. Thanks for the cache jowiba!
Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. After camping out near Steep Point, we made our way around to Francois Peron National Park, finding caches along the way.I spent a lot of time around Shark Bay for both work and recreation during the 1990s and it is still one of my favourite areas of Australia. The cache was a quick find and is in good condition. Thanks jowiba for the cache.
Found 15:11Three months of travelling in Western Australia with Muggle friends from the East coast; stopover in Singapore on the outward and return flights. Caches and labs where they are on the way and can be done without too much effort. You may forgive me for using the same standard phrase everywhere, but there's not much more to it than that. Many thanks to all the owners for making our hobby possible. If there is anything wrong with the cache, more detailed information follows.LB was full; I replaced it by a paper sheet. The old LB is available with me, if required.
On our trip from Perth to Denham we had 3 nights in Denham and time to catch this GC after a nice walk along the beach street. TFTC
Visiting shark bay with emukka. After spending a few nights in monkey we came to see the town and do some caching. This was there I thought it was but needed a second look to find it, tftc!
Almost gave up on this one as I am only 5 tall. Approached it from a different angle and BINGO! Still needed geo hubby to make the grab sneaky! Loved the views and TFTC
It took us a while but we found it! Very sneaky. Thank you for bringing us here and for the cache.

WA road trip day ? Heading south then west and north again, seems to go the wrong way..
Went to the moon on the way and ended up in shark bay.

Fantastic views, thanks for giving us a reson to revisit this stunning location.
We are having a little bit of time off from helping our friends in Nanson we decided to head north to try and collect a few more LGA's and Lab caches and anything else that pops up on screen.
After having no luck at the cache at the other end of town we decided to come and try our luck at this one. We pulled up and had to wait for the slowest dog walker in the world to amble by but fortuantely it was very easy to sit on the nearby seat and take in the views.
It was a little bit too cold to be diving into Shark Bay today. Once the muggle had left we started our search and happily it was located on our second rotation. After adding our name to the log we returned everything as it was.
Many thanks jowba for showing us this great area and a nice hide.

Phew - quick find at this time of day since circus tricks were required to access the cache! Stunning coastline - no wonder there were ship wrecks out there. The trip is making me think about re-imagining Australian history - Noticeably there’s no mention of the Captain Cook !!! In Denham for a few days with plenty of time to explore on trusty treadles and appreciate another AUS World Heritage site. Have travelled WEST from home base 4200 km away and that includes altitude as well so enjoying the landscape and habitat changes of this BIG country. TFTC and the lure to visit.
I'm heading north, not sure how far up we will go.
It's an amazing place, we will come back soon.

Outnabout on our last day and visited this end of town. Peaceful compared to town centre. TFTC.
Found on a very blustery Saturday afternoon @ 3pm. Love the beach walk, but temperature adding wind chill is about 14 degrees. Greetings from Warrimoo Honey in the Blue Mountains.
Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
I always thought I was vertically challenged but happy to be able to retrieve this, while admire the views.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Such a gorgeous spot to take our pup for a walk. We popped in a bit of paper as the log was full. TFTC
TFTC!
The cache was on the ground. We put it back where we think it was.
Logbook is full and we didn't have a new one with us.
Found with BernardMais.
