Out and about with Cirrus_WA and I C Nothing for our usual Tuesday night adventures. Very very sneaky. Love it!
Devious more like it. Really need to stop overthinking your hides Lachlan TFTC dude
What a tricky little sucker... ! A quick find once we gave it some thought. Of course this wasn't till we started getting desperate. A unique hide we haven't seen before. TFTC Lachlan1.77
After approx 45 min we found the decoy, after much deliberation we worked out the location and WAHOO found! Great stuff OC!
Very clever, very Trickey, very deceptive, spent an hour on this little gem and impressed with the cache fav votes for sure
I won't repeat her language when she found it...needless to say it now makes sense and we need give this fave point.
We came back after failing last time. After studying the surroundings and trying to think outside the box, we finally found it. Frustrating in hindsight!
Having met certain cachers at an event we got some clues as to what to do and what tott we needed. Found today for a Wheel of Challenges streak! TFTC
Look I laughed out loud when I realised how close I had been last time but today a bit more thinking and the log was in hand..cache and log in excellent condition cheers Lachlan tftc
Failed on this once before but had found the decoy. As a result found the decoy straight away this time before scratching my head for a while. Finally thought about it a bit differently and there it was. Very clever. TFTC!
G’day, I visited this cache on Thursday 15/12/2022 and conducted a maintenance check.

G’day all, I am disabling this cache (effective Saturday 3/12/2022 at 20:36). Apologies for the inconvenience!
Reason: Cache was still in place but the logbook was missing. It was also starting to experience some wear and tear, so I’ll take it into the repair shop for a bit and get it back out soon.

Having success at a recent nearby hide we headed over here to try out the D rating on this one. We made quick early progress and then soon guessed the next location to get to the log. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
Happy WA Day for sure. Turned the frown in to a smile today. A favourite of course!
Was about to give up when we found it! Very very clever! Worth a favourite point, TFTC Lachlan 1.77
Parked over the oval and walked over to GZ and started the search, decoy was found very quickly and kept the hunt going with enthusiasm.
Started getting the feeling that we were going to have to leave empty handed when almost by accident we noticed the cache and added our names to the log book before heading on our way.
A most definite favourite here for a fun challenge and unique cache.

Grabbed the geo-twins and SirFancy headed up towards Fremantle for a run around this afternoon enjoying the sunshine and a bunch of great caches.
Pleased with our efforts we finished the day with 6 finds and 0 DNF’s.

Well that wS unexpected but made sense when you read description carefully. TFTC
Woo hoo. Came back for a second look and found the decoy immediately again. Read and re read the note and after searching around had an epiphany. Back to square one et voila! Very clever..... think I'll pinch this. Fave point for this one. TFTC
We quickly found the decoy and were full of hope…we left with our tails between our legs.
Stop by today found the decoy very quickly, after about 5 minutes there was somthing that I may have overlook when check on and soon found. What more can I say, I'll give it a favorite thats for sure. TFTH Lachlan 1.77 SL. Fav.
Find 1 of 7 with 2 DNF on a warm and windy bike ride starting in East Freo, out to Bicton, then back into Freo for lunch and a beer at Gage Roads' splendid new establishment. Quite a few Ad Lab locations along the way kept us busy.
Mrs O's second visit and Mr O's first. Did some research of the logs on our drive down and had a pretty good idea what we were looking for, and we did our happy dance when it was proven right. Great idea, well executed.
TFTC Lachlan1.77!

Searched for a good hour. Found the decoy cache with note saying, that you are close. Turned and inspected every rock a lump of concrete. Looked high and low, even scratched around in the dirt in case it was buried. Expanded the search circle to the high voltage tower, and control boxes.
Well deserving of a 3.5.

G’day, I visited this cache on Sunday 31/10/21 and conducted a proactive maintenance check.
Found the cache out of its hiding spot. I had to do a repair, but it is good to go again. As a hint for future finders, I’d suggest nearly everyone that has been here has found the cache.

Perfect timing as I was here for the dtr’s football match…. Except this really isn’t the time to be here…. Way too many parents watching. I reached around the corner to quickly grab the decoy but couldn’t look beyond that. I’ll leave it for another time.
I’d been meaning to stop here for ages but had always been turned off by the dnfs. Thankfully I’ve seen similar in NZ and even have similar at home that I never hid. Feel free to check but I definitely signed the real deal log. Thanks for the hide.
Arrggh. Whooped for joy when I thought we'd found it only to realise.. . that wasn't it! A good search all around came up with nothing.. will try again when it's been found.
Thought we had found it only to find it was not the one , we will be back and will try again
I tried to find this cache today, but my luck was not good, or maybe it was my eyesight, or maybe it was not there. Will have to return at a later time effect a find.
This was my 1 DNF out of 2 DNFs and a total of 14 Finds on this outing.

Have tried replacing a number of times with people always near GZ. I’m considering giving up on this one and giving it the toss... will give one more attempt at replacing.

May well need a CO check on this one as we found it in a condition that we expect it wasn't set up to be. That said, we signed the original log and replaced as found.
Out picking up a few caches with a couple of hours to kill. That was a sneaky hide TFTC Lachlan1.77
Ok. Came back today on our way down to woody’s. After finally having the epiphany about what i needed to do, we parked where we shouldn’t as a very quick stop was planned. Greeted by a noisome smell that almost had a quick retreat on the cards. Found the required host and before i could do a search, noticed the log emerging from its hiding place. Would have looked there anyway. What can i say?? Sneaky beyond sneaky and the hardest leaping cache ever. Tftc, Lachy 1.77 and the prompt reply.
Instantly found the help, then after a 5 minute search I had a thought. Odd little idea. Name on the log. TFTC.
Sneaky - like other cachers we love the concept just not sure of the longevity.
TFTC Lachlan1.77 this is find # 9483 for us.

After quickly discovering the decoy, there the fun stopped. Despite a cryptic message from Co, still blank. However, after leaving for greener pastures once the stench began to make me feel decidedly off colour (pathetic, I know), had a rethink and need to return soon to check out this epiphany ( or not). Tftc, not. Just kidding.

I have repaired the cache and have made some changes to the way the cache is held in place. These changes were made in a temporary manner and will be made with greater permanency when I next have a chance. With weather cooling down it shouldn’t be an issue.

Found really easily.
I think the use from previous cacher has made it a quick find.
Great idea though but needs repair.
Thanks for the hide

Not sure that this is as it should be. Anyway we made a quick find & signed the logbook. TFTC Lachlan1.77
After returning after a second look, I searched a bit more thoroughly after PAF for a hint. TFTH
A quorum of the Fott was here so we are retrospectively claiming the find. If that's an issue let us know.
Catching up on some missed logs.
The Better Half and I were on a round about way home after attending the event at Point Walter and stopped here on the way. Cache found without problems. Log signed and cache returned as found.
Thanks Lachlan1.77 for placing this cache for us to find.

A challenging find. Not sure about longevity.
With Leap Day somewhat of a big deal on the caching calendar, Kyzabra, AlliedOz and I made a plan to meet up and grab as many different cache types as we could prior to the event at Pr Walter.
We met up at Bicton and headed out for a morning of funds, fun and frivolity.

After some time searching with Cravo10 and Barnzy12, I must agree with Barnzy12 that this was evil... as Lachlan1.77 laughs in the background. Good pickup guys!
On the way back from the LEAP DAY Event, made a second stop here and made the find this time. Thanks for this cache that had us flummoxed the first time.
**FTF** with Cravo10 and Meme28.
Out and about this morning before the Leap Day event at Point Walter by West Oz Geocaching.
Grabbed a few FTFs around the southern suburbs before making our way to the event.
We got lucky here and managed our third FTF of the morning, a great camo here.
We searched and searched and searched for this one, it’s EVIL. EVIL. EVIL.
Awarding FP.
Thanks for being part of the Leap Day 2020 festivities.
