Waiting for the last pieces to arrive so I can get the new cache containers put together. Im planning to get this trail up and going again by 15th November 2024.
Really devastating on geocaches when you have such a fire through the area. Fortunately, there is some remnants of your container around, so its kind of air I guess but it probably needs a new belt. Definitely needs a new container. Thanks for the fun!
Venturing along the Landsdowne power trail with Storm_cacher, we raced against time to find as many geocaches as we could before the looming storm struck. Despite only getting 15 caches, it remained an incredibly enjoyable day.
#13334A nice afternoon stroll through this surprisingly nice park Cache was an easy find TFTC jess_harley
Fourth find of the day and unfortunately found the glass container smashed and the contents ruined. Didn't have a spare container but did have a zip lock bag and paper so we left a new log. Be careful here until maintenance is done. TFTC
One of many finds after finishing a job somewhere else. With TBs Canadian Flag, Swiss Duck, Pittiplatsch and Corona Express Cruise Ship in tow.
Under the Paperbark I find it in like 2 min and the leader took 25 mins to find
Find #: 3,281

Pretty hot day today and try to complete all power trails with 3 geo-friends and thanks for leading us here
OCW GZed. A challenging power trail is a good power trail. Walked out and back in again following the trails marked on the map. This one was soaked. We managed to write out names on the log and stand it upright hoping to keep the water out. TFTC!
In the area so with a bit of time headed out for a few caches. Did a mini loop compared to the full trail. Good to have a variety of hides. No real issues. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
I've been having a blast on this trail. It's a windy day so hopefully the paper doesn't blow away!
These are a fair way from home but had time for a couple more on a rare visit. Thanks jessbarnard.
A quick find in good condition. I haven’t seen glass jar caches before but they do the trick TFTC
Great start to my day, walking around Boggabilla reserve and caching of course! Tftc
Coords were off by 10m.

I stopped off on my way home from work to try to find this one. By the time i got to Landsdown park it had gotten dark.
Having found quite a few in this series before i felt that i had a good chance of finding it even at night.
I made my way to the GZ by torchlight and began searching for the clue.
It didnt take long and i was soon signing the log.
Thanks.

The co-ords seemed to be a little bit off, but the clue got me there easy enough.
Decided to have a look at this power trail while attempting my close to home lockdown exercise for the day. Thank you for the great series. TFTC

jess_harley I found your cache Landsdowne power trail #4 on 10/4/21, 10:05 am. This is my find 3090 and find # 4 today. Another quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out wandering through Lansdowne Park with oldmorty.
He was here last year, just before the COVID-19 lock down. He must have been worried as he missed the numbers he needed for the final cache.
So today oldmorty accompanied me (taking note of the numbers) as I made my way round the power trail.
Most of the caches were easy to find although I had 2 DNF’s which might have floated away in the rain we had recently.

A quick find whilst in the area! Didn't have time for the rest of this series, but managed to pick up two of them whilst passing by!
Thanks jessbarnard!
Thanks jessbarnard!
It was an overcast and pleasantly cool morning so caching was on the program for the day with ilook4geo. We selected just a few caches to find that were in some of the sectors that need a boost in our circle.
We took a wander through this part of Lansdowne and did just a part of the cache trail available. All were easy to find and were in good condition. Thanks go to jessbarnard for creating this trail.

Found this one without any problem, along with goingplaces2. Had a good walk around the area. TFTC.
I managed to fit in a days caching before the wet weather had us house-bound or doing other less exciting activities. With my pushbike as the preferred mode of travel I targeted a few caches on the bike.
This series of caches was to be my focus for the day, after parking near No: 1 it took me a couple of hours pedalling around this great pocket of bush to nab the series. Well done on a great series of caches.
Thanks to CO's for your caches that I found throughout the day.

Out for a couple of hours to find some of the geocaches on this trail. This is the 4th of 11 found today with gotheallblacks, reels and burgercraft. Stopped just before the rain.
Thank you for showing us this part of Sydney and for the trail.
I also really enjoyed the size of these caches.

Ms Atalanta is my recent companion while geocaching as she sometimes wags work to come with me. That's OK as she has her own business and answers the phone as and when required while caching. Today was a nice spring day following a day of drizzle, and we found ourselves on the Lansdowne power trail. Actually at one time I lived at Upper Lansdowne, some 300km from here. A nice but easy series of caches. Thanks for placing them.
Off to get three new souvenirs today. The geobike was swung into action and there is lots of choice in the power trail.
First to get the four missing modern wonders and then seven ancients. All very quiet here today and remembered there is a great bike track through the bush.
Easy finds and good hints made the day enjoyable.
Thanks jessbarnard

Gorgeous day for some GC. Maybe CO can replace the glass container with a plastic one instead. Always a chance it may break if glass. But cache in good condition. Was an easy find, TFTC.
Out for a geocaching explore with Kate_h. Aim is to collect the series. 3 down!
Freezing morning, ominous looking clouds, wind... who said it's not a good geocaching day.. not us! Set out today with 2 geonieces to tackle half of this trail. Great trail for kids. Good clues, visable geotrails, caches all easily found, nice walking tracks, varied hiding methods. The kids also enjoyed the suspense of whether they would find a number inside each cache. Overall a good morning out. Will be back to finish this trail off another day. Thanks for placing these caches!
On a cache run with phlphotos today and decided to collect some more multi-caches that we need for a challenge cache. Whilst down here we made a decision to collect some of the LPT. Another quick find on the trail. With the cache in hand, we signed the log before replacing it as found. Both the log and cache container are in good condition. Thanks for cache jessbarnard.

Down this way to get some multis with teamMerlin after getting Bird sphere crossed over the road and came after a few of the Landsdowne power trail while here. Ended up with 6 of the trail caches started with this one.
The hint made it easier to find also the soldier and a dimetrodon guarding the cache. Returned the back to the cache when returning
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for placing the cache jessbarnard
