Found with friends caching the rest of the PS series today. We have enjoyed travelling the back roads .Logged as EGS. TFTC

Arrived in the area Sunday, focused on finding some of the Paddle Steamer series. Today was our second day finding them, and we did well. A couple of DNF, but mostly found. Caching with Shandyk and Earthlight, we signed the log as EGS. Thanks for putting out a great series. We had fun over 2 days getting as many as we could (Around 340).

Taking a few days off work so I can get away to Mildura for a long weekend. Of course I stopped for a few caches along the way. Perfect conditions to be outside and geocaching. Day 2 of my long weekend and it was time make a start on the Paddle Steamer power trail. I managed to solve all the puzzles in advance of my trip so all that was left was to go find them. On a solo mission so I had to spread it over 2 gruelling days. It was hot and dusty but thankfully the roads were largely empty - I only saw two other cars over the two days. The western half was completed on the first day and the Eastern half completed on the second day. Only 4 DNFs out of the 350 caches which is pretty good going consider I was solo. My 2WD car was getting a bit of a workout. Some sandy bogs in places but I made it through without incident. Despite the 4 DNFs, it is very rewarding to see the sea of smilies on the map. I have been wanting to come to this extraordinary place for longer than I can remember.........My husband dalerious introduced me to this wonderful geoart when we first met, and informed me that although he had visited and signed every cache here, he did not log them all electronically. I went on to explain to him that there are no coincidences, and the reason he didn't log them was because he knew that one day he would visit this beautiful area with me.We thoroughly enjoyed 2 full days driving, walking and jogging (me the latter), and signing the majority of the caches in the series.Unfortunately, there were a string of trads that were no longer there, and a few of the containers were out in the open and some were chewed. But all in all, the majority were in good condition with plenty of room in the log for future finders.Some caches experienced cache creep, probably because the hide had suffered damage. Limbs broken off and the like.We saw plenty of sign of the diverse fauna that reside here, but mainly only Red and Grey Kangaroos, one dead goat, one dead snake, and one very live fox.We were here in the early morning, as well as the night; and the night sky was spectacular. Thank you so much for keeping this dynamic series going. Awesome effort MilduraGeoCrew.

A big day out today with Bogonghazy and Sorceysal to tick off this amazing series. We managed to complete the series in one day with only 4 dnfs. Thanks to Sorceysal for solving the puzzles and for MGC for an awesome series. Highlight was seeing a mob of emus running through the bush

A massive day for LittleBoss2, Sorceysal and I as we attempted to complete the entire series in one day. With only 4 dnfs, we did the last 20 or so with the Headtorches on, but we got there. Kangaroos, emus, wild pigs, goats and a couple of bearded dragons also played cameos. A massive thanks to MGC for this huge contribution to our great game. We were also astounded at the accuracy of the coords on such a large scale. Brilliant work, cheers

I had solved these puzzles a couple of years ago but thought I would never do them on my own so when an invitation came from bogonghazy and littleboss 2 to join them on a caching and golf trip to Mildura, I jumped at the chance. We attempted to do the series all in one day and with only 4 dnf's and having to find the last 20 in the dark with head torches, we had a group hug for a very successful day. We saw lots of wildlife (emus, kangaroos, wild pigs, frill necked lizards, parrots) and fortunately no slithery things. Thanks MilduraGeoCrew for an awesome series that must have taken so much work to put out and maintain. I really appreciate your efforts.

After having a quiet day yesterday it was time to tackle the Paddle Steamer Series. We had solved the puzzle components starting before Covid hit and then finalizing them during that time as we worked with our eldest grandson on his home learning.Setting out reasonably early in the morning it was a cool start to the day, but that soon turned into a marvelous day to be out and about. Warm sunshine, blue skies and only the faintest hint of a breeze. The roads the caches were on today were good country gravel roads with little traffic, although it will take some time to get all the dust out of the car. During our travels we saw kangaroos, emus and many different birds. Some beautiful parrots. A few wild goats were encountered and we believe it is they that have inflicted some damage on a number of caches.Coordinates for the caches were spot on which made searching a much easier and quicker task. There were some tee climbs, but nothing we needed to deploy the TOTT for.Congratulations to the Mildura Crew on a really well developed series of geoart so far.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache MilduraGeoCrew.**SKI Pair****

Thanks to the MilduraGeoCrew for this Paddle Steamer Trail.A cold morning turned into a mild day with some sun and then clouds.We saw lots of kangaroos and emus early on this morning along with lots of parrots and other birds. We saw sheep and cattle as well.We enjoyed finding these caches.

So back out to the PSS for day 2. Yesterday we learnt the Park was closing for a controlled burn off, so we basically had to find all the caches that were in the park. Oh Lord that was going to be a big job for us. Perfect day for it and again a big thank you to the MilduraGeoCrew for a great day of caching. We had a ball today. Saw a great load of wildlife. Not just a fabulous array of birdies which included emus escaping out headlights but a lovely silvery snake and heaps of roos. We were pretty late leaving the park tonight but really wanted to finish the leftover caches. Slow trip out but it was worth it. All caches were found and in great condition, GZ very accurate on most. If there were any issues will note here. Thanks again for a great series.

Water water everywhere but not a drop to drink but the curves and bends along this road simulate the shape of water without the necessity of Geo art. How clever. TheRobbos3266 and I are back again today after finding about 40 yesterday and with todays aim to complete Settlement Road caches Those caches just kept coming and coming and we just kept finding and finding. A beautiful day that ended with a blazing sunset before we had quite found them all So to achieve our aim the last few caches became night caches which just added to the fun WooHoo Tired and hungry it was in to RedCliffs for a late meal. Great day and great company It was a huge achievement for us but Im absolutely in awe of the MilduraGeoCrew for all the work they have put in to plan and place the Paddlesteamer Series for us to enjoy. *Another nice find in the PS Series with woolwood9 today.* We did all the caches over 3 days - this is day 2, we were at the first cache for the day at 7-15am.Great hot weather, dusty roads with a few soft patches but no real problems.Over the 3 day period we only saw 2 cars so was great to park basically anywhere on the road!*Thanks for putting this cache series out for us to visit.* We tried for these in 2022 but the timing couldn't be worse with the flooding in the area.SL *tm/ww NZ*Soon located, with good co-ords throughout.Most containers in good order, some of the lids have become brittle with sun damage.

Konie and I are heading south and west on an adventure. Today, we continued the paddle steamer series. Next, we came to this cache. A quick find was made and the log signed before we continued on our way. TFTC

We started this series last year when we were in the area but the wet weather defeated us in the end, so we're back this year to try to get as many more as we can. At least the roads are drier this time even though there was heavy rain only a few days ago. This one was a quick find, thanks for the cache and the puzzle

***OMG I am SO sorry for such a delayed log. I seriously had good intentions of logging this sooner and I failed miserably. I have also already failed my New Years Resolution in keeping up with my logging and its now April 2024. My sincere apologies for the generic logs. Tankengine, Youban and I were part of the MMA Team from Canberra over the couple of days in Mildura. We had a lot of fun with our friends and found some great caches.The PS Series was our main aim though, so it was nice to knock these off and have a pretty yellow paddlesteamer on the map.Most caches were in good condition and some seemed to have been moved from their original hiding spot and/or nibbled on (probably by animals as we found them laying in the open with the log in one direction and the container in another and the eaten ones we could see they were teeth marks). The roads were mainly clear and wide and although there had been some rain, the conditions were all ok. Tftc!!!

Southern Autumn adventure Day 53. Mildura Paddle Steamer Trip Day 2. Today was the day, we set out early to get as much of the Paddle Steamer done as possible. We signed as MAA, Mildura Autumn Attack and we consisted of Nibletricecakes, Gliss!, Joolay, Kitty Katch, Barb2e, Tankengine, dty73, Youban and Albida33. We soon fell into a rhythm and we managed over three quarters of the art work today before we ran out of fuel and light. That was alright, we were keen to get back for the dinner event where we would meet the cache team responsible for the massive geo art. We had a great day and I know I enjoyed it. There is a little bit more to do tomorrow before getting on to the Turtle caches.

We came out today to do some maintenance on some geocaches. This geocache was missing. We have replaced it with a new container and logbook.

After spending all week slowly solving every puzzle when it was time to head down to the big boat! This was my first day of hitting up the paddle steamer! Went from 9:30am until 6pm with only a few slowing me down. All were accurate coordinates making for mostly quick finds. Enjoyed the tree climbs thrown in to mix it up. A long yet fun day was indeed had. 178 caches found from this art work today!! Thanks for all the work put into this awesome series!!

Today we started the PS series and enjoyed the drive on the roads less travelled. All the caches we found were in good condition and some were easier to find than others.

A lot of work has gone into creating placing and maintaining this series. Thanks to the placement teams for a great series.

We have come up to Mildura for the Paddleboat Series as well as the Turtle series having finished all the puzzles some time ago. This is day 2 of searches for this series. Apologies for generic logs as in most cases the containers were quick finds along a deserted road. In the main the road surface was good. The GPS coordinates were very accurate for all the caches. Thanks to MilduraGeoCrew for the puzzle and cache.

Full time nomads visiting Mildura to finally tackle the Paddle Steamer with iluvtrekking. Way back in March 2020 we were on a cruise to Tasmania with iluvtrekking when Covid hit. They headed back to WA but we kept nomading about SA. Last month a plan was hatched to meet up again after we had been working at Mundi Mundi Bash at Broken Hill.

So now we are together again cruising our way through the PS series. Thankfully the puzzles were all solved before hand mostly in June 2020 druing lockdown (sitting in our computers just teasing us to get here to collect the smilies.)

What a fun few days we have had. We were delayed a few days thanks to the storm that hit whilst we were in Mildura. Good thing we did wait too, as there were definitely a few spots where the mud is still drying out but otherwise the tracks are in great condiiton.

Lovely to be driving about this region with the lush looking crops and even some wildflowers. We camped 3 nights all up and enjoyed sitting by the fire spotting satelites and planes, and wondering where the planes were coming and going too. [?]

Fantastic fun this trail thanks so much for all the hard work, placing, setting puzzles and maintaining. We found 1 cache that something had been having a feast on the lid so we have replaced the lid as we had 1 on board but otherwise all caches were found in good order.

The Coords and Terrain rating all seemed spot on. The climbing was manageable without a TOTT for our climbers all bar 2. **You definitely deserve a round of applause and many many fave points.**

Came out here to find a few cache, well we spent all day doing it!
The SAGC crew we had put together worked well.
Most were found in a timely manner, some we just couldn't see for the trees, so the next person just walked straight up to it! Many blended in very well too. lol
A great day out, finishing off with camping out at the Community Event.

The day culminated with a Campout near the centre of the geoart around a campfire, reminiscing about the weekend that was.

Had a big day on this, the second day of my trip to Mildura for the tri-state events to celebrate International Geocaching day. Went south to the edge of the Murray-Sunset National Park to see how many of The Paddle Steamer series I could find. Managed to find all 142 looked for, and for the icing on the cake, made the Community Celebration Campout at Murray-Sunset event my 12,000th smilie.

Well we paddled and paddled.

It was great to find the caches during the day and camp out at GC8HJC7 Event Cache Community Celebration Campout at Murray-Sunset. The caches were signed by our small group as SAGC. We really did need to camp out here to find these. But that was the fun part too. There was a fire. There was a BBQ with steak. There were refreshments and much merriment. This is what caching is about. The good 'ol days were revived tonight - thanks to everyone that came to the camp and had fun on the trail.

This was found on part of an 8 EVENT MADNESS in 3 state trip with four-fun. We cached, we kept hydrated, labbed, swagged and we paddled. Most of all we met lots of people an made new friends.

Spent the day relying on Weirdobikers phone and that worked really well in most of the locations today. A great set of puzzles and a great day caching. 133 was the total before we turned back for Mildura due to kangaroo jumping time. Found every single cache we looked for, all were in great condition. We also had no trouble on the still slightly damp roads in my 2wd car.

I’m having this week off as others at work had the Easter break off so it was my turn and another trip up North to Mildura was planned.
I was able to leave Melbourne nice and early to get a few caches in on the way up to Culgoa.
So after a great feed and a couple of beers and of course great accomodation at the Kaneira Hotel I headed up towards Mildura and to start this series and to see how many of the Paddle Steamer series I could find
I managed over to find 115 yesterday and now to see how many I could find today and I left Red Cliffs nice and early to achieve this.
The road I took in was full of Skippies and I had to slow down a dodge them a few times.
I had worked out all of the puzzles for this series not long after the series was published and of course work, distance, time off and Covid all got in the way of coming up this way and now was the time.
The tracks off the main gravel roads where a tad slippery and muddy in spots and a bit more colour was added to the Geocruiser along the way.

After 2 years of this being published it was always a matter of when to do this series so the plan was hatched for this series, we completed 114 day 1 and the remains day 2, all caches were found in great condition apart from 2 missing and needing to be replaced. Great to see some tree climbing in it too.

A trip to Victoria with Freddo for 3 days to complete the paddle steamer and find a few caches in Mildura and along the way to and from, all the caches were signed respective of the day FG23, FG24, FG25 or our own caching names.
Total of 468 finds for the trip

On this Easter break we went out to Mildura for the Paddle Steamer series.
We started in Mildura with the LabCache. It was very nice to walk along the Murray river.
Then we reached the first cache. We solved all the puzzles a few weeks ago. The first day was just half day with about 120 caches. Nobody on the track, perfect for quick and easy finds.
The second day was the toughest with 200 caches. Our body started to be tired so we stopped there and kept the last 30 for the next morning.
During the weekend we camped at Rocket lake. Very nice and quiet campsite. The sunset and sunrise were awesome. And we had perfect weather for the full weekend.
We really enjoyed doing this series. We love solving GeoArt ! All the GZ were spot on. We did only 3 maintenances for the missing containers.

Well done to MilduraGeoCrew for the very good job with this steamer boat.

Day 23 of our southern trip. First day of the PS Series. We are Team 4 4 QLD - RoddyC, hatzofff, Snickersallan and Grannysmith1947.

Starting at daylight, we set off the decorate the Paddle Steamer with yellow smiley faces. We allocated two days to do the series, with day one and the major day aiming for at least 250 to be found.

It was a lot of fun, setting the GPSs, overshooting the mark and backing up, cleaning out or replacing any damaged caches, and of course, adding our group name to the log.

Today we encountered only one lone Kangaroo, wh9 came out of the bush and onto the road, and skipped up the road and over the rise until he/she was out of sight. Oh, and we saw a couple of lizard/skinks crossing the road. Fortunately all survived.

Overall, the roads were in very good condition, and could easily be traversed by and standard 2WD vehicle. It is true - MOST of the area has no mobile phone service.

We met but one other person - a local who stopped to enquire as to our wellbeing. His number plate as "OL JOHN".

A very pleasant day - maximum temperature was around the 29degree mark.

Day 7: SA/Vic Christmas holiday trip

Last Christmas holidays, fitzy_1965 and I (along with two geo-kids, Death Killer & my_name_jeff_1) headed to SA to visit family whilst we could, and to collect as many counties and caches as possible along the way. We decided even before getting home that we needed to go back. The added incentive of more On You Bike series sealed the deal. Fast forward through 2021 (because who wants to remember that), and here we are again. This time with extra company in the form of Sol de lune, Smittengranny and albida33.

Today we were out to finish off the Paddlesteamer Series. We headed to the far end to drive with our backs to the sun. A much nicer way than what we had done yester. Once finished we headed into Mildura for a few more caches before a nice dinner at the Mildura Brewery Pub…. One of the few places open on a Sunday. Tomorrow we head home.

All caches were signed as FMSS and were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

26,525. Found with minniek, Sol de Lune and Smittengranny during our post Christmas / New Year trip over to South Australia and Victoria to tackle the On Your Bike and Paddle Steamer series among many other caches.

Today our aim was to complete the Paddle Steamer, then grab a few more caches around Mildura before a relaxing dinner to celebrate what has been a fantastic trip. Signed as FMSS. This was another long hot day.

When minniek and I were in South Australia in January this year (2021) doing the On Your Bike series of (then) 100 Wherigo caches, we were talking to the CO who mentioned that a whole lot more were soon to be published, and they were - 512 more ! So once back home we set about solving all those new ones which was at least something to do during 'stay at home' orders effecting us. Then once they were all solved we planned a trip over to grab them. Then just to add to the fun the latest 152 were published just in time for us to spend time solving them all so we could get the whole set. With our caching friends Sol de Lune, Smittengranny and albida33 this series was our main aim, but with the 'Around the World in 81 caches' series, various solved puzzles and the Paddle Steamer as standby if we got the time.

We managed some BIG days caching and finished off the On Your Bike series in three days, then attempted the mammoth 'Around the World in 81 caches' series and some lovely high/rare D/T caches - all in searing summer heat peaking at over 40 degrees ! Once they were finally completed we headed over to the Mildura region for another two blistering hot days doing the Paddle Steamer series. After camping for five nights we finally relented and got hotel rooms for the last two nights and worked the air conditioning to the bone.

All in all an amazingly fun time was had, and we have all made room in our calendars for when the next part of the On Your Bike series is published - no pressure ! Highlights included many of the fun tree climbs, the pole caches which increased our skills at the recovery and replacements of those styled caches, and the relaxed times and banter around the camp site at the end of each tiring day - including New Years Eve !

Thanks to all the COs for contributing their caches to our fun times, and I must apologise for the generic logs as we did find well over one thousand caches which now require logging !

The decision was made to joined in the South Australia tour to hit up the On Ya Bike series with fitzy_1965, Minniek, Smittengranny and Albida33 (who had driven up from his Christmas visit to Adelaide). After getting across the SA border with only a stop for one of us to be (re) tested, we headed to our camping area at Loxton and set up camp.

Day on the Paddle Steamer series and we headed out early in the morning to try an avoid the heat. We were somewhat successful, but with 210 caches required to complete the series, it was still an almost 9 hour day. Again the caches we found were all in good condition and mostly found quickly, however there were the few that stumped us for a few minutes, but all ended with a find. To save space the logs were signed as FMSS, for fitzy_1965, Minniek, Smittengranny and Sol de Lune. After finishing the series and grabbing a few other caches in town, we ended up having dinner and beers at the Mildura Brewery, and that was a very pleasant way to finish the day and our trip.

Another hot day in SA and Victoria as Sol de Lune, Minniek, Fitzy and I continued our caching expedition to make as many finds as we could in this wonderland of caches. I can't believe how many we actually found with no DNFs eventually, even though we replaced a couple and had to visit some GZs twice to ensure we had no sad blue faces on our maps.

I am home again now and sitting in the relative cool of a local shopping mall. It was a most enjoyable trip and I thank my travelling companions, including Minniek's two sons for the pleasure of their company and their support and encouragement to keep going with over 1000 finds in SA and Victoria.

All logs were signed as FMSS or similar and I admit that sometimes I dated the logs as 2021 instead of 2022! I am sure that this will be plainly obvious to following cachers. Huge thanks to all the COs for placing the multitude of caches.

It was absolutely perfect weather today, with a cool start before the day warmed up and a nice breeze. Just the right sort of day to go out on a major caching expedition with ilook4geo. The paddle steamer was still our focus and we have managed to fill in a large part of the geo art with happy smiley faces. Many thanks go to MilduraGeoCrew for placing all these caches.

Doing another chunk of the PS series today with goingplaces2. Most caches were found easily, co-ords were good and we enjoyed the day. TFTC.

TFTC we headed up to Cullulleraine to do the PS series over a couple of days since our last visit 2 weeks ago on the motor bike. This time we glamping…second day out grabbing some more of PS series, today we did 110 but no locking of shingle backs for Algae today……. Team work makes it go quick. This us the most caches we have both done in a day…. World record for Algae and Shumba7

Out with Shumba7 ticking off some more of the PS series in our PS Discovery. 110 for the day with an assistant designated driver. We’ll get them all eventually. TFTC

It is so good to finally have the opportunity to log these caches while travelling regional Victoria. We loved the variety of solvable puzzle caches that were the beginning of a healthy obsession with Mystery puzzles during covid lockdowns. We camped nearby and made an attempt to find lots of caches in the series.

Continuing our trip along the PS series with a bunch of like minded caching friends and family for a mammoth day out hitting the back roads and beyond as we were keen to make this our main go to for coming up this part of the state. Love this sort of country and with good company and a wide variety of hides we had a blast picking up quite a few smilies for our time away. Many thanks MilduraGeoCrew for the set up and placement of this series.

In town with Happy pants, Happy Feet, The Empire, omegaman1971 and Rebel Acts for a few nights and to clean up the Paddle Steamer Geo Art Trail and a few other series if time permitted.

We made our way to the PSS. Saw many different types of wildlife along the way and the wind also introduced a few 'tubbleweeds' to some of the tracks. I have seen many wonderful sights, a fantastic variety of hides and taken many photos around this fantastic area A overcast but fine but at times windy and dusty day but we managed to find all caches today. No real trouble finding any of the caches today as we stopped every now and then for a cuppa / cold drink and a snack. A great day had by all.

In Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet, Happy Pants and The Empire. After having these solved for some time and holds up getting here due to Covid the planets had finally aligned and today was the day to do the The Paddle Steamer Series and a few other caches in the area.

We had a great day out on the trails with perfect weather for caching with all caches in the series found.

Here in Mildura for a few days with Snap Happy, omegaman1971, Happy Feet, Happy Pants and now joined by Rebel Acts for the series today. After much planning, the day has come - The Paddle Steamer Series.

We were able to cruise around in the mostly overcast weather, finding all of the caches in the series without too many troubles. Stopping occasionally for a drink and some snacks, and of course, some Kangaroos and a few wild goats! We came across some closed gates but were either able to navigate around them or go through them to get to where we needed to be.

My thanks to the MilduraGeoCrew - for the puzzles, the adventure lab, the whole series (the geoart looks great) and getting us out to lovely Mildura.

This was a great opportunity to get away with some caching friends in Mildura. The plan was to hit some of the local trails and geo art. Today we attacked and concered the Paddle Steamer Series. It was a long day, and a shower at the end, was most rewarding.
They were good containers and there were some great hides of different terrains. It was an enjoyable day with lots a laughs and fun.

After so much planning and multiple delays due to covid and other events it was finally great to be out doing the paddle steamer series.

I can only imagine how long it took the CO to place all of the caches in such a remote location.
The day was long and dusty but well worth the effort for such a fun day of caching.

And I think we definitely picked the right time of year to smash this series. Not too hot. not too cold just perfect. We managed to complete this series with no DNF's

Solved all the puzzles some time ago but distance kept us away, we are passing through the area on the way home from a caravan adventure and so now we can attempt as many as we can grab, like a bull in a china shop.
Headed out from Mildura first light to grab as many as we can on our one day so off we go...

What a great series - coordinates were good, hides were fairly straight forward, the roads were generally wide, and fine for 2WD and 4WD vehicles alike. It was great that the puzzles were straight forward to solve too.

All caches are stamped as The Mob (consisting of The Drovers, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, and myself).

2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip was spontaneously planned and I was able to pull together a number of my caching friends who hadn't cached together before to form "The Mob".

LíB and I started in SA, drove to Victoria and ended our trip in SA; FurfacesLL and Rapidlywild came from Canberra and The Drovers began their journey from NSW; and then a few days later, feathertop from Victoria, joined us to complete the On Your Bike Series and other caches in SA.

We filled our days with piling in cars, hard core caching, Adventure Labs, crazy funny CB radio chatter, some laughter, some tense moments (OMG some of the ladder and tree climbs on this trip were crazy!), lots of lovely meals and even live music from a band called "Kung Fu Jesus" - nope, that is no joke.

We had hot weather each day (well into 30s), so I am thrilled that I now own a car fridge to keep the drinks icy cold (loving them at about 1 degree celcius).

A sincere thanks to MilduraGeoCrew for placing these caches, it was an enjoyable series, completed over 2 days. [^]

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.

We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.

Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.

Day 2 of our trip away and it was time to start the Paddle Steamer Series. Our on the trail today "The Mob" consisted of GoodLook, The Drovers, LiB, FurfacesLL and myself. The roads were in good condition for both 2WD and 4WD's, lots of red dust gathered in the clothes and the car, plenty of wildlife spotted and lots of caches stamped. We got through a large chunk of the PS Series today leaving only a small portion to complete on Day 3.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this fab group of people and meeting new friends

The day was warm, the flies annoying and the roads were dusty.

A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA.
With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.

The group grew from two to six rather quickly after having a chat to GoodLook about our plans.
Our power team “The Mob” consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers and ourselves. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book.
All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.

Day 2 of the trip and Day 1 of The PS Series.
All puzzles in this series were solved prior to the trip.
This series was dry and dusty mostly straight forward finds with a few tree climbs thrown in for good measure.

A plan was hatched a few weeks ago to head to Mildura,
to complete the Turtle series and the PS series.
We stamped each log as 'The Mob' to save space and time.
'The Mob' this time was made up of GoodLook, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild,
and ourselves.

Day 1 of the PS series, travelling the dry and dusty roads.
We spotted lots rabbits and large kangaroos.
Most caches were easy pick ups with the odd tree climb.
Several of the containers had been chewed by animals, one had to be replaced.
Many thanks for placing this series, MilduraGeoCrew, for us and others to find.

This was a straightforward puzzle and we soon had an approved set of coordinates. Today we returned to the area to look for some more of the caches in the Paddle Steamer Series. Once we worked out that all the caches along this section of road were about 5m west from the confirmed coordinates, we were able to make a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks MilduraGeoCrew for an excellent set of caches and great geoart.

Not a single muggle or vehicle along Settlement Rd all day.
Only saw a few Roos and Emus on the trail too.
Mostly good accurate co-ordinates on this part of the trail.

Who in their right mind would attempt picking up 350 geocaches in a day? The JAMS would. After an 18 month geocaching hiatus, this March long weekend I tagged along with the JAMS (today caching as the 'Mystery Randoms') who headed to Mexico with solved puzzles and iron determination. I easily smashed my previous record of 100 caches in a day. We definitely earned our pub dinner. There were a lot of cache guardians (including a cute bearded dragon), and a helluva lot of red dust. Many thanks to the Mildura caching community for creating an entertaining geo-destination. TFTC! See you again soon.

A group of South Australians jumped to border in to Victoria for the long weekend. The group was Allister W, JJ52, Mogni, Sir_spectre, and BratKat. All logs stamped as " Mystery Random's ". We left Adelaide and headed over to Mildura. The target for the puzzlers was to clear the highway caches then complete the " Turtle series " and the " Paddle Steamer series " since they had solved all the puzzles before coming over. My target was the D5/T5 underwater field puzzle and also hoping to get up to 13000 finds this trip ( that was achieved ). Once those goals where filled we mainly targeted caches with high favourite points and started on the many multi's that are in Mildura. I highly enjoyed the field puzzles and themed caches from the locals and sorry to say that we only did 1 of the night caches. On the 2nd night after doing 356 caches during the day it bucketed down that night and we had a beer/wine or two instead. We will be back, maybe not this year, but it will be the sooner, not later.

A long weekend with a big plan. A group attack on the powertrails near Mildura. Two of us solved all the puzzles and then covid hit so they got put into the get around to it one day basket... Covid back under control so a plan was hatched to go interstate for the first time in over a year and be allowed to return without having to isolate for 2 weeks. Joined up with sir_spectre, JJ52, Allister W and Bratkat. We cached as the mystery randoms which suited us while well. Both powertrails were found and we managed to grab a few others while travelling around. I am usually a regular visitor Mildura but it had been a couple of years between trips. I am sure we will all be back to complete the many great caches we researched but din't have time to find. Thanks for a great weekend.

A plan was made for a group of us, (mogni, sir_spectre, allister w, BratKat and myself) to head over to Mildura for the long weekend as the borders are now open and we wouldn't have to quarantine on the way back. [^]
Two of us spent a long time solving all the puzzles in the Turtle and Paddle Steamer series along with the other puzzles around Mildura, but they were put away waiting for the time when we could get over to find the caches.
We had a very busy weekend and managed to find all of the Turtle and Paddle Steamer caches along with some of the high favourited caches, an Adventure Lab, one night cache, quite a few gadget caches and a couple of water caches...and then we ran out of time.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time finding lots of different caches and we will have to make a return trip to find those that we didn't get around to.

A day I don't think I will ever forget. The Mystery Randoms(JJ52, mogni, BratKat, Sir Spectre and I) have traveled to Mildura to do this series. This is going to look good on our maps. JJ52 and Mogni and BratKat did all of the work in finding the spots, I got to find a heap of caches which is always fun. Logging them all is not as much. We got to the first cache at approximately 8:30am and at around 5pm we had finished the whole lot. Great to find all same containers on a long series like this but good to find them in different places. Great area with beautiful views. The trees changed completely in one section which was great. The red sands are also a nice cushion when doing lots of walking and great contrast to the native vegetation. I didn't see any legged or not legged lizards. I did encounter lots of spider webs but none like the monster web and spider JJ52 walked into. TFTCs MilduraGeo Crew

Four South Australian's ventured across the border to attempt the paddle Steamer series.
It took us slightly over 12 hours to do them all.
What a fantastic day!!!
We saw lots of wildlife and had a great time exploring the area.

I don't normally do a completely generic log but I have for this series as there are so many caches. I appreciate all the time & effort, by the CO's, that has gone into developing the series. A big thank you ??

Scramping & I spent 4 nights via videolink solving these when they first appeared but then had to wait for borders to open. Glad we were able to get across for the SA long weekend.

Completed this series in 13hrs with scramping; Trigger_Fish & AnyMules (SHAT entered in logbooks). Started 9:55am & completed 11pm stopping for a quick lunch & dinner break. We had plenty of snacks & water on board. The track was dry; dusty & red but the day was a lovely warm one with a cool breeze at times. We saw kangaroos; emus; 1 big snake sunning itself on the road.

A great day with friends.
