Solved with catnap777 @12:00pm on a very warm day. CoolWe are feeling rather proud of ourselves (and our detective work) to gather all the information required to save the day in one outing without outside help or prior intel on this one. SmileWe are a pair of sly sleuths. RazzAbsolute fav for everything. Big GrinWho knew you could do so much with an AdLab [?]The Easter Bunnies. Thats who, and they did an excellent job of it. You guys must have had so much fun putting all this together. From inception to casting, roleplaying and exploring, researching and storyboarding. Props and set location. Cool Bravo. Great show. Great fun. Congratulations. Big GrinEverything worked well and the final is in good condition. [^]Thanks Easter Bunnies for showing us what can be done with this platform. Big Grin

23 November 2024 12:03When I was perusing the map looking for caches to do on our 2 day get away to Geelong I was using filters for attributes that we required to qualify for particular Challenges. This adlab and bonus popped up and without reading the cache details, I placed it on our list.We rocked up to the parking coordinates for the adlab and a garden maintenance man was parked there also. He had a trailer on with a mower, but was busy across the road racking etc.I called out to him out of courtesy and asked if he was going to need to put the tailgate of the trailer down. He replied "no" and thanked me for bothering to ask. While we were getting ready to start, he walked over and we started a conversation. He noticed my Geocaching Victoria bandanna and said one of his clients plays that game. Neville_devil Big Grin.Anyhoo, we started the adlab and wow what an awesome adlab it was. We have never seen one like that before. And then the bonus.........You guys are super clever. You didn't just do a bonus by adding a couple of number clues in the adlab. No, much more clever than that. Not to give too much away, I will just say, adlab of the year material The_Easter_Bunnies.If I have to pick on one thing though, the padding in the cache is staying damp and is getting mouldy.Favourite point given Cool.

Happy hunting.

One of the waypoints for the bonus has suffered some damage. Looking to have it back in play over the weekend.

19-Oct-24
In GTown today to attend Neville_devil's birthday event. This was an interesting AL. So much work has gone into creating this. Thankyou!!I found what was needed at WP1 but struggled with the answer. With some help I was back on track. After the event, LeeLee returned with ExplorerChuck to complete the AL and bonus. Absolutely loved the journey here and also picked up some local knowledge too. We also saw some kids fishing down at the rocks, and they were wrapped when they caught an eel. Thanks The_Easter_Bunnies. Team work certainly paid off with this one. A FP added for the unique experience. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Wow! I have had to return numerous times over the past year to this one and my numbers just were not working. With some helpful teamwork with LeeLee from Crack'n'LeeLee numbers were obtained today and the adventure continued and this mystery was solved. Thank you so much for such a creative and unique Adventure Lab and bonus.

08-Sep-24
Replaced WP1 and did a check of the other locations. Happy hunting.

02-May-24
The final location is now secure and a newly polished Cherub waiting to be found. Good luck detectives!

26-Apr-24
The final location of this bonus cache has been compromised. Will do a tidy up of the container this weekend and look to get it back in play with new coordinates for next week.

22-Apr-24
What a great adventure. This was our first Adventure Lab. A lot of work has gone into creating this and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. A great walk through a lovely area, very fun

Found the cherub after losing some blood and sweat!TFTC!

16-Feb-24
Wow, what a wonderful cache? So many twists and turns. Expect the unexpected!A definite favourite point for this! Not to mention the AdLab as well!We loved this as soon as we were hooked on the Ad Lab first stage. Unfortunately we could only do 2 stages last week and we decided to come back to Geelong for a 3 day weekend, caching. We were suitably impressed with the Ad Lab.The Bonus.well we earnt it! But, it was not just a matter of getting some co ords and finding a box. There was so much good stuff to follow after that.dont want to spoil anything for those to come all we can say besides we loved it.Thank you Easter Bunnies. Brilliant, this is what caching is about.

16-Feb-24
There was a bit of moisture in the cache.Looks like one of the catches wasnt closed properly previously. It looks like it may have been under water but the log and everything is ok.

Love cache box.

Wow!! A worthy finish to a great Adlab wander. TFTC, even when I got to GZ there was still some more to do

21-Nov-23
on our first few visits to geelong, we always visited Buckley Fallsthe first time it was just happenstancewe got a bit lost navigating, saw a sign for some falls and made the further detournow that we live down herewe still often visit Buckley Fallsin flood or famineand often look longingly at that ramshackle tumble of wilderness tucked away below the old millwe didn't expect to end up there todaywe hadn't looked ahead to where this mystery would leadbutthanks for taking us to this great little nooka new perspective on a favourite spotoh andof coursewe will add our acclaim to the pilegreat cache

I found the golden cherub! Im grinning from ear to ear. This is why we do geocaching, my friends. FLL.

WP check and another update of WP1. Happy hunting.

19-Sep-23
That was so much fun! Every step was so exciting and fresh. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.

15-Aug-23
We completed the Adventure Lab yesterday and went to the appropriate coordinates to find the cache. We picked up the needed details and made our way to the cache. Oops, we couldn't find it anywhere, so we decided to see it another day.

When we arrived home, it suddenly occurred that we had been making our calculations using incorrect information. So we were back today, and sure enough, we were well off the mark yesterday, and we made a rapid find today.

We enjoyed the Adventure Lab immensely, and you can only give an AL Five Stars unfortunately, and you can only give a cache one Favourite Point. So we must be satisfied with providing Five Stars and a Favourite Point.

Thank you, The Easter Bunnies, for a great experience and cache.

11-Aug-23
We’ll that was epic! You think you’re there but no. Then again - got it, but no again. Finally signed and love the diamonds! A bit damp in there but all safe. Didn’t take any of the trackables but they are all good

10-Jul-23
A check of the waypoints and TB drop. All good for the next slueth.

19-Apr-23
A fantastic adventure from beginning to end and definitely one of the best labs I have done. Thank you for the creativity and the time put into developing this journey. 10 favourite points from me. TFTC

25-Jan-23
Have a feeling the coordinates are off because I finished the ad lab, but it keeps sending me in the middle of the field no idea if my Coordinates haven’t updated I will try to come back and complete, but my phone is nearly nearly dead ️ but a fun ad lub tho

22-Jan-23
WP1 has now been updated with a QR code. Happy hunting.

09-Jan-23
A bit of a tidy up after the floods from November and December. WP1 of the AdLab is undergoing some repair so an alternate question is in place whilst we sort out a replacement.

05-Jan-23
After a cache in the You Yangs, McLookers and I headed to do the Adlab for this cache. I had tried two days ago, but the first waypoint sign is missing, so I gave up and moved on to other caches. Once at home, I took the laborious task of counting up until the magic number was reached.

From there on, it was plain sailing around the Adlab and at the end, some co-ordinates were given. Recent flooding had gummed up one object, but after applying some water, we eventually got it to work. We took what we needed and headed to GZ for the find.

The amount of work that must have gone into this cache, as well as the imagination and ingenuity is mind boggling. Such a fantastic cache, it's a pity I can only give it one favourite. There is only one other Adlab I know of and have done that equals this one. It's now in my top two!

Thanks to the The_Easter_Bunnies for an amazing cache and Adlabs.

05-Jan-23
Oh wow, what a fabulous adventure this is. Muzza and I targeted this cache today and thoroughly enjoyed every step of the way. The technology used was exceptional, this is really next level.
There was evidence everywhere of the recent flooding. A couple of spots were a bit tricky but we applied a bit of water (to dissolve the mud) and used our muscles and we were good to go.
A fantastic adventure and a definite favourite from me. Thanks The Easter Bunnie. Dropped a TB too.

26-Sep-22
A check of the waypoints for the Lab today. The wet weather has meant the path is more muddy but all points still accessible. Gumboots were a good option today! Good luck detective.

13-Aug-22
Wowsers - what an incredible cache. I thoroughly enjoyed this and detoured to some others in the area too so by the time I got to the last adventure I was stuffed. And then finding the final was so hard! There is so much overgrowth vegetation at the minute that I resorted to a PAF who had taken a photo in such a way that helped. It was just about buried. So pleased to find it so I can give this cache a well deserved fav point. Thanks for a ripper end to the day.

20-Apr-22
There is something rather special about this lab adventure and its terrific bonus cache. It cries out for another fav point which I will gladly offer.
The lab adventure is interesting and makes great use of the platform with its videos.
It pays to take good note of what is required for the bonus as you will not get past the defences!
Found the key and then onto the well hidden cache which was well cammoed with autumn foliage.
The cherub was a sight to see.
Returned everything to its rightful spot.
Well done Easter Bunnies!

Find number 10390 at 4:02:45 pm on Saturday the 2 April 2022
Travelled down to Geelong today to attend Bushfires event at to Barwon Valley Park and grab a few others in the surrounding area as well.
A bit tired now with all the walking but with a very happy and contented smile on my dial. What a magnificent Lab Series and Bonus Cache.
Worth every bit of praise it gets and a favourite from me Smile
**Thanks for placing this cache The_Easter_Bunnies**

Stumbled onto this cache by accident. We were on a bit of a detour around Geelong on our way further on and drove past Queens park and thought it looked like a lovely park to cache in so decided to stop on the way back.
Saw this and had to do it. We must say, it is the most enjoyable lab cache we have done to date and well worth a fav. A lucky find for us

27-Dec-21
Maintenance check of lab waypoints, final GZ and programming after some software updates. All good to go.

12-Oct-21
The first part of this Adventure Lab was the day of the earthquake. We felt nothing but decided to check on things and come back. The second time was to finish the lab and it was pouring down. So today, third time lucky, we found the treasure! I was so happy to see the final, it was perfectly fitting. Favourite point added for all the fun I had doing this! TFTC

05-Jul-21
A quick check-up of the Lab locations and the cache. All in good nick.

19-Jun-21
Wow, that was very much worth my time! Thanks for such a elaborate hide!

19-Jun-21
Went back over the videos and then onwards to the bonus cache!! Loved the twist

05-Jun-21
Great end to a lab, a golden find . Really enjoyed my first lab, high production, great story. Two visits inbetween errands, and a lockdown wait, to complete. Also liked how it revealed lots of interesting hidey holes around this part of the river. A favourite. Signed. TFTC The Easter Bunnnies. A very high bar for anyone setting up a Lab Cache.

28-May-21
Wow!! My first Adventure Lab! Loved it ... I think I missed the bonus cache clues. Tackled this cache during Lockdown 4.0. Thank you Smile

14-Mar-21
After a weekend in torquay with the family, I met up with OZHockeyChick who was also in Geelong for a spot of afternoon caching.

What an awesome adventure lab with so much thought and creativity. The bonus cache keeps up the high standards with a clever twist at GZ. Massive thumbs up and a favourite for this one.

Thanks The_Easter_Bunnies for the cache.

14-Mar-21
Spending the weekend in Geelong for a friend’s 60th, I met up with RoamingHowie on the way home, for some caching in the local area.
We thoroughly enjoyed this AdLab. Awesome fun, great location!
This bonus was the cherry on top of the icing on the delicious cake.
A fav point heading your way.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, The_Easter_Bunnies

26-Feb-21
After exploring all our local areas during lockdown restrictions Mudbrick and I decided to venture further afield now that the Ring of Steel is no longer in place. We felt like fugitives driving past the Little River offramp to Geelong...

This was the main target for the day. I had been a beta tester when this AL was in development so I knew what to expect. Still, it was just as exciting doing it this time watching Mudbrick with a virtual deerstalker hat trying to solve the mystery.
The use of multimedia sure puts this in a class of its own, and shows what is possible with some creativity, imagination and skill. The result is immersive (we used that word a lot this morning). In contrast I have done lab caches near home where the interaction was unapologetically down to "This is just another random waypoint. I have to ask a question for it, so answer this..." Big Grin.
Personally I had a lab cache credit which I never used. I could only think of the usual "go to this location and answer a question from the nearby sign" and decided to rather not bother as I couldn't do it justice.

This final bonus cache was correspondingly themed and of the usual high standard set by the CO. Gold class (pun unintended Smile).
Thanks for this game-changer, Easter Bunnies. Another FP coming your way.

26-Feb-21
Wow, what a bonza time that I had today. The lab caches and the bonus were found today with the Pacman & mysel, during a foray into the bowels of geelong. This was the best days caching that I ever had, I could not get over the professionalism that was displayed to enhance the reputation of Jack Snow. Thank you The Easter Bunnies for my attained pleasure. A favourite is the least that I can do. Bloody beautiful.

19-Feb-21
This was a fabulous ad lab. This is the first that we have done that is interactive. We had a great time exploring this area. Even though papi is native to this general area, he had never been over here. Thanks for the fun and the tour.

19-Jan-21
We had heard so much about this one, it was a must whilst in the area. We needed a PAF at one point even though we had sighted what was needed. Having lived in Geelong for years, I had often seen the mill from the other side but never ventured over here. This has to be among the top of my list for lab caches. We had a great time. First interactive one we have done, I think. Thanks for a great time and the cache.

*Found on the 2 Jan 2021 @ 8:17 pm.*
*Cache find # 11297.*

Out and about on a tour with buhfuhguh starting at Cressy and on through Beeac for an event and then further South to Irrewillipe to find a few challenge caches, we were now heading in the direction of home but there were a few more caches to find along the way.

We were looking for one more thing to do on the way home, we thought maybe an adventure lab and this one showed up, we didn't have to look any further, this was to be the one we finished the day with as I had heard good comments about this one so we had to check it out even though while heading to this one it had been raining fairly hard, we were just hoping that it would go away before we got to it.
Well this Adventure lab certainly puts the adventure into the lab certainly when you start when it is still raining.
The rain had stopped shortly after we started but as we made our way through the different sections we were still getting wet from the water on the foliage but who cares, we were having a great time making our way through.
We made it to the end and had a set of coordinates to now navigate to once there it was on again and eventually we had recovered the Golden Cherub.
This is certainly a great Lab and Bonus final, well worth doing and a great way to finish the day.

**Thanks to The_Easter_Bunnies for placing this cache.**

Cache count for the day so far;
10 Multi Caches
2 Letterbox Caches
1 Event Cache
15 Lab Caches
11 Puzzle Caches
14 Traditional Caches
2 Earthcaches

02-Jan-21
It had been a while since I had been out west and seeming there was an event on today it surely was a great excuse to wander out this way to find some caches. Tagging along with Stemicmitsar for the day we had planned to clear out the area of multi's and other little bits and bobs.

Avoiding the rains fairly efficiently between caches and meeting many other friendly faces on the road after the event, the day was a success with no real issues.
Thanks for the caches and the adventure.

11-Dec-20
Enjoyed the adventure, then the challenge to find the way into the cache. A favourite point for this experience TFTC The Easter Bunnies

10-Dec-20
We headed out with Faye today to find the hidden treasures of the Golden Cherub. We found this area to be a lovely place to wander around in. Our navigation was off a couple of times and we needed to backtrack but we reached the end eventually. The path is very easy walking with a few spots that needed a bit of care. As we had gathered all the necessary information we headed back to the given GZ only to find that the key lock box was not working, or so we thought. We had not realised that we needed to watch the videos to get the numbers for the combination lock. Once done we headed to GZ to find a very different cache container with treasure inside of it. T 1 x TB SL TFTC

25-Nov-20
TB drop.

24-Nov-20
We have just realised that we didn't log this find after we had finished this great lab

We woke this morning in Geelong to the sound of rain hammering on the roof and then the phone started ringing. It was our old friend Jack Snow who we hadn't heard from for quite awhile. It seemed he wanted our help with a case involving a missing child. It certainly wasn't the right weather for it but what could we say.
We met up and went about collecting clues. There was a very hairy moment for a little while but Jack ensured our safety.
We headed off and started to think that he may have chosen the wrong assistants for this part of the job as we are not the most sure footed people around. By the time we did the next stage one of us sure had wet feet. From here we learnt where the Golden Cherub was hidden and headed off with the information required to retrieve it.
The overnight rains didn't make this task any easier but we go there and the Golden Cherub can now be returned to it's rightful owners.
Many thanks for this fantastic adventure, we only wish that we could leave more favourite points than just one.

21-Nov-20
With The ring of Swiss cheese coming down we could now catch up with our Metro Mates, so once again I teamed up with Omegaman1971 and headed to the Geelong area to do some of the many labs and several caches in the area. We had a great time exploring the area. Today We started in Geelong but got a little frustrated with suburban caching so we headed to the Brisbane Ranges to do the Fun for kids trail.

This was one of the caches we found today. This had to be one of the best Lab caches I have done so far, so much work has gone in to it and it was really enjoyable, get a Fav from Me.

Thanks The_Easter_Bunnies for the cache.

Out and about in the area with my geo buddy Rebel Acts putting some smiles on the map.
Since I started my geo journey back in 2007 I've done many awesome caches, but this adventure lab would have to be one of the most enjoyable for sure. Everything about this adventure was well crafted and designed. Really has set the benchmark for adventure labs.
Congratulations to The_Easter_Bunnies for the outstanding cache. I wish I could reward more than one favourite point.

Found by Mary and David, in company with GeoJo, at 16:55. An amazing adventure, Just incredible, and totally you! Have to say you go for quality over quantity. We still rave about your first cache - "The Mystery of the Fyansford Treasure Horde", and as we progressed through the Adventure Lab stages this afternoon we were constantly reminded of it. Years later and caching technology has moved along, and you have kept pace. After 4 months of suburban lockdown, we are now enjoying the freedom, with Team Crackers yesterday, and GeoJo today. We both loved the experience. Wish we could give you 11 out of 10, but we'll make do with a well-earned FP. Our thanks to The_Easter_Bunnies.

What a brilliant way to finish! Found the first part quickly, but had to go back and pay closer attention to the clues in order to get to the final stage. Plenty of mosquitoes meant we couldn’t spend long with the prize before replacing everything as found. TFTC

I was only going to do a bit of this mystery but it sucked me in and I completed it instead. I was on foot the whole way and backtracked a couple of times. I find the map provided in LAB caches not as easy to use as a GPS.
Anyway I can't believe the effort you have put into this adventure and am pleased that Jack snow is back on the front foot.
He is just as good as he was in Fyansford Treasure Horde. It certainly didn't disappoint.... Could you have added any more technology - it blew me away. Love those voices.
Spotting some clues was difficult and am so pleased to be able to listen to it again in piece at home.

It deserves more than one FP -it is outstanding. look forward to the next installment.

When this cache was published I was super keen to rush out and grab it and the Adventure Labs for a FTF but I knew I was approaching a big milestone of 5000 finds so I resisted the temptation to leave it to be my milestone cache.
Years ago I was fortunate enough to complete the Fyansford treasure horde so I was hopeful that it would be a special cache hence saving it for a milestone cache. As time and lockdowns went by it took a lot longer to get to the magic 5000 than I would have thought but today I am here and in that time I had heard great reviews from everyone who had completed it. All those review of course were totally worth as it is a magnificent cache and a superb and novel way to use the adventure labs. Original too was makes it even better just like the Fyansford Treasure Horde.
Thank you so much for producing this series we thoroughly enjoyed it form start too finish and look forward to some more of your good work.
A favourite with out question

Trackable drop.

16-Sep-20
Back again after yet more rain! This time I got further but then ran into trouble getting to #5 - the track was so under water that people were going up the scrubby hill! At #5 I was unable to get the answer without standing knee deep in water. I am pleased to say though that this Bonus cache had no such problem and in fact worked well. Might need some WD40 in the future but for now all is good. Thanks to The Easter Bunnies for the effort. Note to future cachers - maybe not after heavy rain!

12-Sep-20
This is one of those cache where it is that good, it takes you a month to get around to writing a log as you can't just give a quick thanks.

The Lab:

What an adventure! I had the day off work looking after Zade, and decided time to get out of the house. With a free hour and about 20% battery life, we set off with him strapped to my front. This made it hard to follow the screen and watch what was going on, as Zade wanted to grab the phone and didn't like stopping. Revisited a couple of waypoints I had been at once before, and about 5minutes in I was loving this adventure, realizing this way top, top quality in every aspect.

As i followed this along, all I can say is I had NO IDEA this was going to lead me here! Biggest spin out, like how in the hell did I not know this! Didn't even know there was a path here! Always thought only was was rock hopping. By this time I was down to 5%, could barely see the screen. I started to gather information, realized I needed more, and as I tried to collect it got down to 1%, and realized I had to go back to the car and pick up older brother Aysen from daycare. Returning not a bad thing at all!

Fast forward some mid lockdown point, restricted to local area. Taking Aysen out for an explore, masked up, decided to come here and pick this up. Unfortunately had seen this shared on social media, so the hide was spoiled for me, however was keen to check it out regardless and see it for myself. Arrived with Aysen on a cloudy Sunday morning, set to searching, searching, searching...how can I not find a large? GPS bouncing all over the place, trying to keep an eye on Aysen. After a PAF was guided to the right area and finally found the price, which Aysen was in awe of. Took a lot of prising to get the treasure out of his grip!

Thanks Easter bunnies for a 10/10 cache in every aspect. I seriously never thought I'd have an experience like this in Geelong. I just cannot get over, cannot get over!, how you managed to take a seasoned Geelong cacher on such an amazing route that I had not been on before with an epic GZ. Let alone all the creativity! Long live the Easter Bunnies. Hoping to see more of this, even to a small degree in the future! a FP of course from me

30-Aug-20
Quick check of the waypoints in the lab after a DNF. The water is definitely high but all points are still accessible with dry toes. Bring shoes with a good grip as it is slippery in sections.

28-Aug-20
A bit of a disappointment here - WP1 was done after a few attempts, WP2 was also done. With all the rain WP3 was flooded! No sign whatsoever of a hint here - it may be there, it may not! That meant of course that the other three, including the bonus, were not available either.

18-Jul-20
Suscoe returned here this afternoon to search for the Cherub.
Our last visit was cut short and so the search proper could take place today.
We were searching for a while and finally after a nudge we located the cache. Turning left at Albuquerque would have made a difference first time, of well sometimes we make right turns and sometimes we make left turns but we get to where we should be in the end.

Thanks to The_Easter_Bunnies for this bonus cache and the LAB Adventure. A very well crafted bit of caching carried out but this creative team.

A favourite point from us.

Thanks so much for the high quality caching experience.

12-Jul-20
The COVID Cachers made an afternoon of the Adventure lab and this one and what an afternoon. Appropriate measures were taken and we thoroughly enjoyed the adventure gathering clues and visting places both familiar and new (to this cacher anyway). The effort that these CO's have put into both caches is amazing. The paths were busy in the park, as the forecast bad weather had been held up in the mail or something and for the time of year, it was quite pleasant. However, there was plenty of room for cachers and non-cachers to enjoy the outdoors, so we did !

Thanks to the CO's for thse caches and the adventure they provided.

An incorrect interpretation had us searching an unexpected, but quite feasible looking area before a rethink and PAF provided a different way of looking at things and success followed soon after.

An appropriate final and the handiwork was admired.

Thanks again and definitely a fav !

Soon after some enthusiastic comments about this adventure were shared on social media, dog-gone came up with the great idea of re-connecting some old Geelong caching friends to go and see what this is all about. Today was "it" and four teams (six 2-legged and two 4-legged cachers) came together to check it out, social distancing and all. Normally, we would have hugged and hovered around shared devices, but all this is different these days.
The afternoon had it all: Friends, fresh air, frivolous rocks, and even some frustrating task blindness. We tried a few methods to arrive at some convincing coordinates for GZ, and eventually even the right one. Massive thanks our PAF cherub for her words of wisdom, which showed that we had not read the task for this bonus cache properly. Rookie mistake!
Pity another caching team had to pull out at the last minute. Great team time dbelco, juc-cacher and dog-gone! And a big, fat FP to the best Easter_Bunnies the area has to offer! You continue to set the bar really, really high.

This is the best cache in Geelong. Calling it. All the detail and effort put into this is incredible. A real noir adventure. I can say the Oscar for Best actor definitely goes to The Easter Bunnies this year.

The bonus cache in and of itself was a fun adventure. Totally felt like a kid again exploring and having fun. The meticulous detail in the container and the hide was truly impressive.

The geowhippet set out to solve this case this morning. We were greeted with adventure and sunshine in some scenic locations.

Obviously a FP from me.

Sorry for the late log on this one, I totally forgot. It was a fantastic well put together adventure lab and this bonus was great too even though the 3 of us had a bit of a ?? fart when working out the final location.

Wow, what can you say? Bloody brilliant!!!! Loved it! Just like the original mystery but in a more modern format we thoroughly enjoyed following the clues with the entertaining narration and helping Jack Snow solve the mystery of the Golden Cherub.
Caching with wozzle68 we worked our way around parts of the river we had never journeyed before all listening to our phones for the storyline and clues. One half of the team couldn't make it to the last location but many photos were sent so she could appreciate the scenery.
Funnily enough we ran into the CO at the Bonus Cache who was dropping off a TB....well we took that off his hands....and we were able to convey our appreciation of all the hard work put into this labcache. The best one we have ever done and we have done a few!
Of coarse the final was just as impressive as the adventure with so much effort put into the well themed cache.
Thanks The_Easter_Bunnies for your commitment to providing us cachers with this masterpiece.
Deserves more than 1 favourite point but alas its the best we can do.

Geocaching FB mentioned about how brilliant 'Adventrue Lab' here.
I took Laker63 to try her first AL in Geelong. We really enjoy this journey.
Walk through from WP1 to WP4 brought me good memories in the last few years.
Was barking at the wrong tree at the end but came back after re- calculate.
Thrilled to find it here.
Thanks for these fun challenge AL.
FP added.

In Geelong to check out some 'Geocaching Adventures' and this was the second one of three we completed today. We'd watched the first video before we left and knew what we had had in-store for us today. I had been one of the lucky geocachers who completed 'The Mystery of the Fyansford Treasure Horde' back in 2013 so I kind of knew how this would work.

Geocaches that are kind of 'involved' can sometimes alienate new finders, and old finders alike be being too 'complicated'. People can sometimes have trouble with the cache then they think it's not their fault - getting frustrated with the experience. This is the risk the cache owner takes on when they create a cache, and finders end up forming groups to 'tackle' caches like this to ensure the frustration can be shared amongst a group and the risk of a DNF is lessened. That isn't the case with this well planned, thought-out, and perfectly executed Geocaching Adventure.

We worked through the walk and waypoints easily, not spending too long on each section - we watched the videos in the right order and didn't have any trouble throughout the entire adventure - we brought some gumboots but didn't need them. Well, I had wet feet at the end which was more due to wet grass and choosing not to put the gumboots on... maybe we did need them.

I put the co-ords in wrong to find this bonus cache - which resulted in a wander in the wrong direction for 15 minutes... We met a horse! Then we found the Golden Cherub.

This is another one of those times where I have 500+ favourite points to hand out, and I'm disappointed that I can only give this cache 1 of them. If this is the new standard 5 star adventure labs I'm not sure how to grade the rest of them! My thanks to The_Easter_Bunnies for the adventure and the cache.

What an adventure, it was exciting and at times quite daunting to be working alongside Jack Snow after his 5.5 year hiatus from the geo-gameboard - great to see him back on the scene.

As in all aspects of life a BONUS is something to work towards – this one was fun, certainly encouraging us to keep our cool and concentrate on the finer details. A FP from us today for a most enjoyable AL and Bonus.

CONGRATULATIONS to 'The_Easter_Bunnies' on another amazing contribution to the geo-game.

They don't call it an "Adventure" Lab Cache for nothing, Not for one single second of the journey across multiple outings could you ever find me left on my heels.

Now where to start ? Well, It was a chilly Thursday evening I'm just scrolling threw the Geocaching Map when this new puzzle down by the Fyansford Common Pops out to me, lucky I have a good eye because once again the Geo-Notifications let us down on that one. Turns out after a bit more searching around this one was a Lab Bonus Cache and still awaiting a FTF. Unfortunately at the time it was all a bit late and after one of the strangest school terms that I might ever experience was just about to come to an end we just didn't have the energy to be searching around at night. This one was put onto the watch list that evening and surprisingly the next morning I didn't wake to the sight of a notification that some crazy night FTF hunters had picked this one up. The challenge was still on. Alas the rule for me for now is school comes before geocaching so the hunt would have to be left to the afternoon. After checking the notifications all day still no one had claimed the FTF so a nice early 2:30 finish to end the term and Mum was quickly on the phone to arrange a pick up for me so we could head down. The true adventure had began, we raced to the little stretch of the river which to be honest I'd never really walked to much before but was slowed a bit by the near by road works going on. The 1st Stage should have been easy but decided to take the long route round but soon we were off jogging to Stage 2 which we made a breeze of. At Stage 3 we bumped into a man just happening to have stopped at the exact same point as the Lab Adventures Stage, no surprise after a bit of talk that this was the Legend Bushfire on the FTF run as well, he kindly helped us spot this tricky one out then we carried on to Stage 4 where we returned the favor spotting out this well hidden clue . Luckily at the final stage I was wearing some good water tight shoes as we really got right up next to the river. Another priority currently in my life is my Football Training which was looming over us as pressing us for time so we gave a quick short and sharp good bye to Bushfire and agreed if we were to find it before him we would be sharing the FTF still. As we ran back to where the new coordinates were taking us I pointed out to Geo-Mum someone who I reckoned was AusFox; which subsequently explains the FTF he claimed. Back to the Car racing up the road, quickly jumping out and just as I thought we had surely claimed another FTF in the bank there was more to it, another stage, a bit of rushed and heated maths we began the search off in a odd spot and that was when everything just fell apart, time was just running right up our back and the search for today was over, I had just experienced my first ever DNF at a chance for a FTF. Later that night I cried my self to sleep seeing that Ausfox and Bushfire had claimed their hands on the FTF (only kidding , just a small tad of agony)

So nearly a week later now, after a bit of sussing a couple of loose strings out with the CO and was able to pin point down some of my amateur Mistakes we decided to make the return today. Now that I'd slowed down I was able to really appreciate the incredible effort that the CO had put into this one, The Lab Adventure and even after searching for the Bonus in the wrong spot twice we finally were able to say FOUND IT ! and appreciate the awesome Cache at the end. This cache wasn't just an incredible adventure but a big learning point on keeping your cool when trying to get a first to find, I suppose we've got to make these mistakes to learn though.

Thanks so much The_Easter_Bunnies for your incredible placement, unfortunately I haven't got any FP's on me at the moment but you are sure top of my list for when I next earn one

What a great Cache. The adventure lab was a real challenge, a couple of the locations took us a while to solve. My Muggle Fisher Hubby was the one that solved the hard ones I was close to giving up. This bonus cache was also a great challenge Just when you think you have solved it there is another step to complete. Really enjoyed this cache. And the extra bonus for me was meeting the iconic Bushfire. Had a wonderful chat, what an inspiring and lovely man. TFTC

Where do you start on this new Adventure Lab Cache!!!
After spending about three hours on this series that the owner stated should only take about an hour I eventually found the final along with Ausfox so a joint {FTF] for one of a few truly adventure lab caches that I have found and that is close to 180.
I went back down to the area again today to look for my Bushfire pen which was given to me by my SA caching mates and value it highly but finding nothing it eventually turned up in the White Beast so all ended up well.
This turned out to be a bonus as I spotted some suspicious looking folk in the bushes looking for something so just did a muggle thing and watched and then meet up with the Sassy_Llama team who had just signed the well hidden log. I knew of them but had never meet them so we had a great caching chat as you do.
The ageing Bushfire thought he would take to the trails on his trusty Mountain Bike and that was great for the first three labs but then he decided to lock it to a steel pole as it was not possible to take it to the last two labs.
At #3 lab after spending approx. forty minutes looking for the hide finally found according to my phone about 8m from GZ. It was taking me all over the area but finally I spotted what I was looking for.
About to head for lab # 4 I saw a couple of very fit folk jogging close by and then headed into my area. Turned out these guys were The Famous Geo 5 who were also on the hunt. Finally after they had a look and appeared to be having the same problems that I had experienced I asked if they needed some help and they said yes as they were on a short time frame as they had to be at soccer training shortly.
We then all headed off to # 4 lab they at a quick jog (Oh to be young and fit again) and the ageing Bushfire on the MB.
They headed up the hill and I chose the lower trail which was getting very rugged by this time and then the phone beeped so I knew that I was in the right area but with so much ivy everywhere it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. But eventually the cry went up I’ve found it, great, if the ivy covers what your looking for then the owners will have a problem. I would suggest that they place the torch attribute just to give future seekers a help.
At this stage I decided to abandon the bike as the terrain was not suitable for the MB.
So onto # 5 and this is where I think all so far have got their feet wet as you have trouble passing without doing so.
So with # 5 sorted it was time to head back down the rugged track, and this was the last I saw of The Famous geo 5 as I think they ran out of time to get to soccer training.
I have no idea where I passed Ausfox but he turned up while I was at the first set of co-ords that you arrive at. I will not say any more so as not to give away what happens next.
Not only did we have wet feet but now the heavens decided to open so it was a little damp.
This would have to the best adventure lab cache series that I have done but I cannot start to think about the time and effort that has gone into this series about Jack Snow and it is not the first time I have meet this guy as I remember him from another adventure a few years ago.
The cache owners do not place many caches but the ones that they do are top caches. So a F. P. for another great cache series.
A couple of things that I think the owners should think about is the D/T ratings as in my mind and others is that they should both be higher especially the T rating as # 4 & 5 are not easy terrains to work your way through.

Well what can I say but Wow, wow, wow. Another well timed, dramatic adventure.
After work I’d set out to look for the little cherub which started with perfect weather for a stroll, but ended up being caught in a rain shower which had me soaked. I continued on trying to solve the mystery.
There were a few that were a breeze, but a few that prove challenging.
While working through the lab I found out that The Famous Geo5 and Bushfire were ahead of me, so I continued on working my way along.
Once the final lab was located I was able to catch up to Bushfire to continue the journey. A small hiccup cost a little time, once the GZ was located I was impressed by the amazing hide and surprised to see a blank log with a cool prize for a Joint [FTF].
Log signed and replaced as found.

Thanks for the Awesome Adventure Lab and Bonus cache.
