A really quick find here.Thankyou for placing and maintaining the cache series and allowing me to discover a new area.TFTCGeneric overly-detailed summation of the day:Weather report: sunny and clear, not really any windCaching conditions: muggles all preoccupied with Anzac day, GPS satellites talking nicely to my phoneSnack situation: poor - Anzac day meant lots of places were closed so I settled for some hummus and cheese and biscuits for lunch. Despite being hungry I did not eat my apples. Maybe tomorrow?Public toilet status: Plenty of toilets all throughout my cachescapades today. The worst toilet was at a BP, it was probably the dirtiest toilet I have ever seen, and I've travelled in some weird places. Best toilet was at Summerland point park.Munzee distractions: loads. Probably found the most munzees that I have in a while, but was surprised that there were some places without any munzees at all.Weirdos encountered: 4 drunks stumbling along the footpath as I walked up the street to grab dinner.("`-''-/").___..--''"`-._ `6_ 6 ) `-. We have travelled from Sydney's Northern Beaches to the Central Coast for a five day midweek holiday, staying at the Norah Head Holiday Park (caravan park) in Norah Head. Having already found most of the caches around Norah Head and the areas surrounding Tuggerah & Budgewoi Lakes on previous holiday visits, except for a few new ones and the odd DNF needing a visit/revisit, on this trip we will be concentrating our efforts in areas to the north of Lake Munmorah. Planning to explore areas around the southern & eastern shores of Lake Macquarie, including Wyee, Gwandalan, Doyalson North, Cams Wharf, Murrays Beach, Pinny Beach, Caves Beach, and Swansea. Photos will be uploaded to logs on our return to home base.Today we started off with a short trip out to Norah Head Lighthouse to log a special release Geocaching HQ Locationless cache, then took a drive up to Swansea for some Traditional caches and a five stage Adventure Lab, stopping along the way for some more Traditional caches and a Mystery/Puzzle cache with an onsite solve. Returned to the caravan park for a swim in the pool and for dinner, but headed out caching again after dark for a spooky night MultiCache at nearby Magenta. This was the 20th of 22 finds for the day (day 2), and 28th find of the holiday. After finding some caches, and completing an Adventure Lab, around Swansea we were now on our way back to camp, but stopped off for a few extra caches along the way. This was the fourth one we came to, and it was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. It's an interesting location sandwiched between the two roundabouts, and with a flyover above, but very quiet with virtually no traffic while we were there. TFTC JT1018.Find #6519

We are heading up the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.

Out grabbing a few around this area that we are staying. The container was found after a short search, without any muggles about.

Thanks JT1018 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

So excited to finally find cache #50, and to finally stop and get this cache that I drive past daily. Today was the day to pull over and get it, my short little legs on their Tippy toes got me the cache today!

(7 of 7 today)

Decided to head up north again for some finds. Unfortunately, the day didn't go as well as planned, especially with a long DNF to start the day. And it wasn't the only one!
My cache blindness seems to be getting worse some days - was probably all over them. Oh well.

However, I did manage to make seven finds before heading home. That keeps the stats moving.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Managed to park close and made a quicker find than I anticipated. Completed signing duties and replaced, then into the traffic and just made it home in time to head out to the Sixers game at the SCG - they lost. Sad

A quick find in a logical spot in spite of the hint. Couldn't sign the log properly though, even with my super dooper power tank pen, as the paper is quite saturated ... the O ring seal is gone so the container is no longer water tight.

Thanks for the smiley JT1018.

Find #1738
Today’s mission was to find a cache to get the Blue Switch souvenir, and was passing by this one. Quick little find luckily as I struggled with phone reception. Managed to tuck my little car in off the road and after a quick search had CIH.

Container in good condition. Log book dry. TFTCSL Thanks for placing JT1018

My last cache of the day topping off about 20 finds and about 4 DNFs. An enjoyable day with some hearty walking, great views and some awesome caches! Smile However I had been having some phone problems so for this cache I couldn't even get a map up, and the compass never has really worked well on my iPhone with the geocaching app. So I kinda did this one 'Reverse Wherigo' style - 160 m away, OK I'll try up here etc.. Thankfully managed to park right near GZ and found the cache quickly enough. Signed log and replaced all as found. TFTC! Smile

Headed home around the south end of the lake after a day in the Watagans, we filled in a few gaps here and there with some park and grabs.
We had pushed on up tot Point Morisset for a trig, and noted this would be a convenient grab from where we were.... this is a strange little interchange here..... TFTC!

Now parking was at a premium but we managed to pull in just metres from GZ. Once there, it was interesting to unravel the hint. TFTC

I initially tried to find this one on the day it was published I was about to head into Swansea for some fish and chips when the notification came up. Rather than going to the computer to load my Garmin with the series coordinates I decided to just use my phone. Big mistake. On arriving at GZ the phone would not lock on to the network. It was only later I discovered that the phone networks had gone into overdrive due to lock down announcements and dropping out. I also had a shot at the one further down the highway - same result. Damn phone caching. I would have found these well before Bill Hill and the Garbageman would have been cursing me instead.
Today I was out this way doing some cache maintenance so I thought I should break the finding drought and pick this one up. Was able to squeeze the geovan off the road close to GZ and made a quick find. SL, cache in good condition. Thanks JT1018

21-May-20
I was forced to park some distance away, almost legally, then walked to GZ here I saw where the cache was hiding. Thanks T1018 for a good hide on our way home after a picnic in Swansea.

Longest Slump
61 consecutive days without a find from 03/16/2020 to 05/15/2020
Current Streak
0 consecutive days with finds
Current Slump
60 consecutive days without a find since 03/15/2020

After they made the new rules lifting some restrictions in NSW, I decided to head out to grab some caches , I practiced social distancing and used proper precautions and hand sanitised , Once I got back to the car after every cache.

19.8km
I have been trying to clear my 30km radius for about 3 years now. After today I am back to one cache in that 30km radius, which I will hopefully be able to get tomorrow

It took me a little while to find a safe place to park before I found this cache but once I found a park and walked back it was a really quick find at GZ and then a light sprinkle of rain on the walk back to the car.
Thanks for the cache JT tnln replaced as found sl

03-May-20
I parked near here, to do the ridge trail, which made it a 9.3km return hike, on a beautiful autumn day. Started at car at 7:25, and back at car 11:00, this being my last cache of the day. Co-ords were pointing straight at it, and cache was staring back at me. TFTC. Oh yeah, sick of sitting at home, and seeing they relaxed the corona rules somewhat on Friday, i thought it high time to get out and do some exercising, with caching as a side event.

Found on an autumn day, with temperatures in the low 20s. The notification came up whilst child-minding, with we normaly do for the whole day, but today she got picked up early, I checked for any log, so headed out for some *FTF* s. Didn't understand the hint untill I got there. Log signed and caches replaced as found. Thanks For The Cache JT1018

Arggh! That cheeky old codger BillHill must have escaped his high security COVID fortress and snuck out just before me for this series. I’m sure he was keen to avoid lots of other hands touching these so congrats mate on the FTF but curse you on your belated logs!

A quick find in a logical place. Thanks JT. TNLN TFTC
