Muggled for the 3rd time.

Searched many places. Any hints?

There was no way I wasn't going to find this geocache. In 2008, when I was still at school and beholden to family holiday trips to Hervey Bay, [I placed a geocache in this park](https://coord.info/GC1K78G). My first well away from home. By 2017, it became annoying to maintain a geocache in a town 4 hours from home, which my family had all since moved from, so it was archived and the park was free for a local to hide a geocache. Thus, I am happy to see a new green icon here.

Well, this weekend I was back though, for some other geocaching purposes, and a conference. Also, because it's just a wonderful part of the world to spend a few days. After checking out about 100 metres down the road (and then grabbing brunch) I made my way here for a find in the Bay before driving homewards. It's such a nice place to visit, the grass is super green, a storm to nights ago means the sky is clear and just a breeze blowing off the water.

It was made easy, being familiar with the area, I parked and followed the arrow on my phone towards GZ. Just a few muggles around this morning, but all preoccupied doing their own thing. I got to the right area, checked a few locations, then saw the geocache hanging around, just looking at me. Done! I signed the logbook and replaced as found. Nice to grab a smiley here, thanks for the geocache, GazaCasa

In Hervey Bay today with Selva Girls and picking up caches in the area and this was one of them. Once at GZ the cache was soon in hand and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Loving the empty car parks opposite the parks along here. Walking in circles, we both stopped and looked...and there it was, hanging. Tftc

Nice walk along the Esplanade this afternoon to get some more caches. Beautiful day to be out and about with not ripple on the water.

TFTC. We had been here a couple of months ago but too many muggles around the area. Today we had a couple of appointments in Hervey Bay. We headed to the foreshore to grab a bit to eat before heading home. WE saw that the area around GZ was empty so we stopped and had a search around. Linda spotted the hide after i had missed it.

Finding caches on my work breaks. Love a good in plain view cache!! No need to step on any plants! There used to be another cache in quota park a long time ago under the big round bench seats. Glad there’s a new one. Tftc!

Headed to Hervey bay for my annual pilgrimage to see my daughters on their first day of school for the year. Lucky there's a couple of hundred of caches between Hervey Bay and home.

This was cache **27** of **70** All caches were found with ease and in good condition unless otherwise said, and I thank each of the Cache Owners for placing and maintaing these caches. I apologise for the generic logs, it doen't mean the effort has not gone unnoticed.

Nice easy find but seriously guys, can we make an effort to not trample the plants please. Don't want to draw attention to the cache

Today we got up early in order to log some caches before the heat and humidity became too unbearable for caching. A the end of the day we found 12 (and DNF'd 2).

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.

Good find! Saw Flynn stones before us so quickly left and found another one while we waited.

Spending a couple of days in this area with lot of sunshine, we are only caching occasionally.

Nice hide, once I got close to the right area. Though did stick my hand in V of tree thinking that was where it was, got covered in ants instead. TFTC

Found! A little tricky! The esplanade is always so busy so a windy rainy day is ideal for finding some caches!

On the way back from going to the shops to buy sticky tape. Who knew we needed sticky tape on holidays? Asked hubby to stop and grab a cache on the way back to Oaks, we actually did 4. Glad I had him with me as I’d still be looking for this one. He went a little further away from me and spotted it. We then had a chat to a couple and their 3 dogs. Once they moved on I made the grab. Another sneaky and well-camouflaged hide.
There were lots of people coming in going from this park with their puppies and so we had to be very discreet in our search.

Clever hide and fun find

Second day in Hervey Bay, had breakfast, quick grab a cache while walking back to the resort and riding bikes along the water front and collecting as much caches as one can in a day.

After spendin the morning around the outskirts of town this afternoon we concentrated on finishing the Harbour Bay Views Trail.
The walk along the esplanade is a real delight especially when the weather is mils like it is today.

After a couple of quick finds,
this cache took me back to DNF territory !! [:o]
Not for want of trying though !!

I turned up at GZ and poked around for 10 minutes.
With no cache found,
I headed back to the geomobile for a TOTT

Confident of finding the cache this time,
the inevitable muggle had sat down at the table next to GZ
So I wandered off to find another cache.

20 minutes later I stopped by again.
Coast clear of muggles
Yet even with the power of the TOTT,
no cache was found

Booger again !!

Hardest part of this cache was getting the log out.

Day two in the Bay and was out at the Harbour just on sun rise. this is the next one on my list. I have had a good 2 days down here. Will only be 4 left in the Bay that could not get this trip. Hint was very helpful. Quick find in the right spot. I signed most logs YOF as that is what I use to conserve space on the log. good co ordinates for this one. TFTC GazaCassa

As per previous logs .... caches was 14mts from posted co-ords. With plenty of trees in the area .... I headed for the one where I would have hidden a cache in and bingo there it was!! TFTC

****FTF*** We had planned our weekend release to be in Hervey bay, now that we can drive up to 50klm. By chance we received the notification of some newly published logs so a bonus for us if the are still there for today. A little fresh with the onshore breezre, but great to be out walking along the esplanade.

We were stumbling aound this one initialy, GZ had us standing on the grates outside the toilets, but checked sat view on phone and it shows us more over there, so off went and bingo, we were about 14mtrs from posted coords, but hint was helpful, also managed to squeeze in a FTF.
