We did as suggested and parked the car before walking down to start the series at #1, along with ilook4geo. The fire trail is good walking and accessing some of the caches is a little more challenging terrain, but is rated well. It is just such a pity the caches are not being maintained. Each was an interesting hide and an interesting container and we can see a lot of work and thought had been put in originally.Cache was clearly visible and no tool was required. Thanks for the series go to Importunity.
Started the series at this end with goingplaces2. Only a few muggles were out today (some with dogs) but all caches were found without too much difficulty. Good one here and the log was signed, despite all the ants trying to devour what the old woman had swallowed. TFTC.
Found, with shaneo58, We came down with the train from Newcastle and caught a bus from Hornsby to do this series. The bus went close to #9 so this is where we started. The counter weight was visible so an easy find.Signed log and Cache replaced as found.**Thanks For The Cache** Importunity. This makes the 1st cache of 9 for today making a grand total of 4309 at 9:22AM on this Thursday the 11th of January in the Year 2024
Came down from Newcastle by train and a bus trip with BillHill531 to specifically target this series, We did this the wrong way around though. A little maintenance is needed. TFTC Importunity.
That took longer than expected, thanks for all the effort, quite a nice series too
My phone did not know where the trail was, as it had me on it over the other side. But there was no trail, so a gentle bush bash, following the arrow, got me to the trail, and the hide. Big effort here, but not sure why. If the maintenance was kept up, i am sure would attract more fav points, buts it hard to tgive them, when there is nowhere to sign. TFTC.
Cool design for the last cache of the series! Great series, got me to 400! Thanks
Last of the trail and the first time I've done 9 caches in a day for over 7 years. Thanks!
A great construction and a great cache to end this nice series of caches. TFTC, FP
Found the 1st three a while back and started with this one today. Nice and easy one to warm up with. Tftc.
Thanks for the cache, a unique idea. I was hoping to drop a TB off but there was no way it was going to fit.

After a couple of days of work at Sydney Olympic Park I am staying in Sydney the rest of the week at the outlaws in Pennant Hills. Remote working is fine but wanted the opportunity to explore a bit as well and this series fit the bill. A patch of bush to explore and a series of caches in a loop to collect. So I jumped in the car and eventually made it to Oxley Park.
Last one on this nicely constructed trail. Things were not quite right here so was an easy find. A number be walk in a pleasant spot.

Found with eemiaj, Mighty Minions, Team 737 and BF on a beautiful Easter Saturday morning. TFTC. Fave Point for an excellent series
#5108
We decided on a day of caching in the more rural side of Sydney for Easter Saturday, so with Mighty Minions, Banj5150, eemiaj and barefootjeff, we cached our way from Mount Colah to Kenthurst in great weather for a change, finding 20 caches and a handful of trigs, and without conceding a DNF, although we came close... A great day out, a sequel is in the works!
The 'old woman series' was first. We followed the GPS onto the smaller track, then GZ appeared - Samuel spotted some of the hide, then the rest appeared - nicely done on a great cache and fun series..... TFTC!

At the finale with Mighty Minions, Banj5150, eemiag, lee737 and Samuel737. Wow, what a great cache to cap off the series, I loved the construction! Many thanks for a fun tour along the trail, an FP will be coming shortly.
After pitching an idea to meet up and do some caches around here and over near Kenthurst, Banj5150, Mighty Minions, barefootjeff, Me and my dad all met up down here at the start of this series. Nice series to wake me up after I got rudely awakened by my alarm at 5:50am.

After our plans to go caching in a different area today fell through because of the track being closed . Lee737, Samuel737 ,barefootjeff, Banj5150 , eemiaj and I met up to tackle this series and a few others around kenthurst today . I loved the theme for this series and I tried to remember it and sing the song as I went around. I def forgot a few bits but I had fun anyway . As the day went on we all seemed to take it in turns making a find, which was great .loved the creativity and how you followed the theme. Thanks for the cache Importunity tnln replaced as found sl I will give a fav for the series here

Great ending to a great series. Found easily although that might have been thanks to a previous log. Really appreciated the series - something different. TFTC

Wow! What a finale for the series! Absolutely loved exploring the bush in the area and finding all of these unique caches. TFTC (and whole series) Importunity!
Very cool cache mechanism.

Wanton destruction sadly marred this hide. We have restored it somewhat to functioning status.
We have assumed ownership of the offending tool used.

I was going to have a whinge about how much I hate some of these animals especially horses in the bush but then I thought what an amazing geocache series in a stunning area and I had just watched a female lyrebird for 20 minutes prepare food for her nestling. It has just been an amazing afternoon. Tftc tnln. Another favourite. Tftc
A short walk to a surprising end. Thanks for placing. Great little series. Back to complete the rest some other time.

And it's another calendar finds day - well to be honest, April is a calendar finds month as this is the month in which I've made the least finds. By quite a margin.
So I need to start the month with lots of finds! But where?
I haven't headed north for caches for quite a while - too few caches I either haven't solved or are higher terrain than I think I can currently manage.
But with the AL and an almost complete trail to finish, I can probably make a good afternoon out of it.
So I got the five ALs, then the bonus as I headed back south.
Found everything I went for - including a **2 Dogs** cache to end the day. Can't do better than that!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Back in the direction of *The Hademobile*, then a bit further.
Quickly spotted a likely GZ as the metres counted down, and checked it. And there it is!
Mechanism was a little stuck, but quickly got it to work and made the grab.
Signed, replaced and back to the car.
A favourite here for the series - and the fact I finally got two new *Wonders of the Solar System*. So many finds have had nothing or the ones I had.

Having found the first of the series on March 7th, today I came back with Eagle Eyed Monkey Girl for the remaining 8 caches and a small side track to K9-Capers.
Our walk came to an end with this final cache. After signing ceremony and getting the picnic gear from the car, we spent another 30 minutes on the rocks, having a sandwich and tea.
Thank for this nice walk around Mt Colah.

#6775 I'm in Sydney for a belated Xmas get-togther with some family. After spending most of the last few days eating and floating in a pool as the temperature soared, today was a drizzly but pleasant at 20C, so it was just perfect for geocaching.
Well we were always getting to this point and I hold little sympathy for the old girl with a pathological eating disorder. Setting up an internal menagerie is not an advisable solution for accidental insect consumption.
This cache was a bit different. I wondered how it would work and tried a few things before retrieving the cache. Interesting setup.
Thanks Importunity for the geocache and the trail as a whole. I would have awarded more fav. points but I'm all out just now.

Quick find bit not as described in the hint. Replaced cache in more apt spot according to the hint. Thanks for an awesome cache series. We enjoyed these ones.
I brought my seven and eight year old daughters along with me for this trail and we absolutely loved it. Thank you for all the hard work you put into this.

OCW The_Jugheads and geokids4&6. We made it! The final cache was lying on the floor instead of the anticipated spot (based on the hint), but after we signed the log we returned it to where we thought it belonged and where we would have looked first.
This was a great series to do with the kids, and they loved guessing the next animal just as much as finding the actual caches. We thoroughly enjoyed it the walk.

Found it with Anominous Sign on 25/10/2020. Had a lot of fun working our way backwards with the old woman series. Thanks for the cache!
Had a blast doing this series with Sandysa today. We started at #9 but were already on a role when we realised we were going backwards so decided to stick with it. TFTC!
Horsesome! Adding a favourite here for the trail. Lots of fun this afternoon!
I brought a torch but it was not really required today. Thanks Importunity for this very well designed cache trail in such a beautiful environment.
Ms Atalanta and I travelled up this way in my new car today, to give the car a short run, and to get some of this lovely spring weather. Fittingly, this was the last cache on the radar, and we found it fairly quickly.
Thanks for this series. Much fun!
Thanks for this series. Much fun!
Today we headed up to Mount Colah, Mount Kuring-Gai, and Berowra to have a look at the many caches that had appeared since our last visit to the area. Started our day with the wonderful “old woman” cache series located along the Oxley Trail, then visited a golden oldie from 2004 and the GZ’s of a couple of previously solved puzzle caches. Then it was a revisit to the Tipler’s Time Trail for another encounter with Macbeth, who seemed to have moved in time & space since we last visited him, resulting in a “bonus” find on the series. We finished the day with an unusual style of Traditional cache, which took us much longer than expected to reach it’s GZ to make our final find for the day. This was the 9th of 14 finds for the day.
This one was next, and a quick find after indulging in a bit of spelunking. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found.
Thanks Importunity for this cache, and for the whole series. All of the caches were well constructed and provided good variety, so we're dropping a Favourite point on this one to represent the series.

We enjoyed this nice series placed in suburban bushland. This one was a relatively easy find. We enjoyed the series. Thank you Importunity for placing the series. TFTC.
Out collecting a few caches for this new GC promotion so given the number in the area figured we could make some good progress. A nice lap around the fire trails and generally didn't have too much trouble making the finds. Certainly the geo trails into the caches have quickly developed making it easy to get close to GZ. Some interesting camo and themed hides. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Again I needed to fill a calendar spot so I headed out at night. After failing to find a cache in Hornsby I thought I'd make the dash up here. Being a Friday night I went for the one that looked closest to civilisation, even though it meant finding the final with still one to go. What a fun series and really good fun. Deserves a favourite. TFTC.
This one was further from the main track than expected. I checked out a very likely place right on the coordinates then expanded the search for some time. I eventually checked the clue and returned to my first choice for a quick find, but it took me longer to return the cache and make sure it stayed in place. Thanks Importunity for this hide which I thought might be the best, but we really enjoyed the whole walk and all the caches. I must say the track was a lot steeper in places than I expected with some difficult sections going up and down, but the surface was generally good. A FP is awarded to this cache as our appreciation for a well thought out series, we had a great day.
Last cache in the series!
I've really enjoyed the walk along these tracks and very much like the idea of a circuit route, it was a great way to spend a beautiful sunny winter's afternoon with my geodog.
The caches were creative and the hides varied just enough. The co-ordinates were excellent at all the caches, except this one where I found it to be about 20m out.
Heading along the main track I bush bashed to this one, then saw there was a track, of course. The afternoon sun highlighted the beautiful colours in the sandstone along the track, and it was at just the right angle that the item mentioned in the hint which I had carried for this hide was not required, instead nature illuminated the spot.
Thanks for the series.
I've awarded 2 favourite points, no not telling which caches - hides I really liked.
