Wow what a lovely ride along this dam wall, even better when you can grab a few caches. So TFTC
Found 12 Oct 2024 at 11:02:19amHid a cache nearby and decided to stop by here to see if I could turn the rest of the greens into smilies. FAILED! Just out for a daily walk just to get some fresher for the day and I thought I might grab this one
Found the cache but unfortunately destroyed the lid to the cache was broken and the rest of it was found in the rocks.
A perfectly still and sunny day today meaning I could walk around in a t-shirt?! Amazing! With Jay we spent some time exploring the area and this was the first cache off the rank! Note: we came back at sunset and the reflection off the water was amazing...
We have no pen so posting a Pic! Thx for making this beautiful walk even more enjoyable!
In between muggles and a grumbly geobaby this was an easy find. Thanks for the beautiful view!
I will check next time I'm able to get over there. If anyone does happen to find it, even better!
Sadly couldn't find this last one on our walk. Found the others. Maybe missing?? Kindly requesting a check.
Wanting lots of finds today because I am trying to complete **400 Challenge....with a twist**... which means 400 Finds on, for me, the 12th on any month... I had spent the morning caching a section of the Hallam Bypass Trail and the afternoon chasing some of the **P.I.G** series caches south of Pakenham. Now heading for home... and wanting to avoid the evening peak period traffic... I took a scenic route through the Dandenongs... and stopped off at Cardinia Reservoir for a few caches. I was doing a Multi that had led me to the top of the dam wall... and I decided to take a walk across it... collecting caches as I went. A nice and easy find... log signed. Thanks to **WeAllNeed Knickers** for putting this cache here.
I finally got off work early today, and what should I do with my extra time... Well cache of course! So after work I was trying to figure out where I should go caching, when I remembered the **Dam Good** series! I have visited the [Cardinia Reservoir Park](https://www.parks.vic.gov.au/places-to-see/parks/cardinia-reservoir-parks) a few different time, but I still had so many caches in the park unfound, so with my extra time today I decided to change that.I decided to do the *Dam Wall Walk* today and grab all the caches along there. The weather was stunning today, and it made for a lovely little walk. Well it seemed like every muggle in the park thought the same, as GZ was very busy today.Of course after finding majority of the caches along the *Dam Wall Walk, I now felt confident I knew what I was looking for and where it would be hiding. So I was able to make this find very casually and not draw any attention to myself, even with a few muggles around.A big thanks goes to [WeAllNeedKnickers](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=e31b1ef5-5b91-46d9-bf67-8e9b1ecf45f6&wid=665dd4aa-145e-4ccf-846c-d2d9a448fe0a&ds=2) for the fun today. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The cache container was in decent shape. The attachment mechanism still seemed strong and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
I think this was the last cache for this leg of our walking visit between carparks. J' was leading the way, determined to find another cache but... There were plenty of muggles about and unfortunately two right by GZ so her attempts at a head start on the search were foiled... I searched near a marker (a number of which I had noticed along the way but alas this wasn't the right spot this time...) Then a many-spotted ladybird stole my attention and in the meantime G' had found the cache. LOL TFTC
Out for an arvo of caching with quiet1_au, we did a car shuffle placing a car at each end of the dam walk. We set off and this was the next one. I went on ahead of the others determined to get a find myself but wouldnt you know... there was an elderly couple sitting right at GZ. By the time they left (good on them for attempting the walk!!) the others had caught up. q1 had headed to the channel marker and this distracted me and so GMelb found the cache where I had only given a cursory look lol!! q1 also spotted a lady bug which we both took a photo of. Pretty walk along here and I took lots of photos. Thankls for placing this series, it was a nice way to get some of todays 10,000 steps

Back to the Cardinia Dam with xambo4u, we continued caching where we left off in May 2021.
A short walk, and we were soon signing the battered cache. Thanks WeAllNeedNickers.

Out and about with echidna44 for a long time waiting day of caching. Not to hot and not to cold. We had been here not so long ago but area was closed. Today it was a park and quick find. Thanks for the cache WeAllNeedKnickers
