25-Aug-24
Up to Mildura for a week with Littleboss2, Sorceysal and Geo the puppy. We'd solved a few puzzles between us, (Ss about 97% of them) and this was the week to grab as many as we could, as well as the multiple labs, multis and trads, and really enjoy this stunning area. After a wild night, we really felt the heat and humidity that happens post rain, but it's all a part of what Australia's diverse zones bring on board. Plenty of sharp bindis added to the fun. Is that what gaiters are for? Our thanks to DrewEsno for a great cache that would've taken a lot of time and effort to set up. Adding a fave

2499 - I stayed overnight in the beautiful city of Mildura, as I hadn't been to this part of the country before. What a lovely city it is, well worth the small detour here on my journey from Perth to Brisbane. I headed out this way and found myself near the airport, so I pulled over across the road and had a quick search for this one. What a great idea for hiding a cache, well done DrewEsno! I found it in good condition at 10:19am.

26-May-24
First cache for the day, and just outside our caravan park. Our first full day in Mildura and after a quite cool night some beautiful Autumn weather has been really turned on. Blue skies and warm sunshine. We are staying a bit out of town but with quite a number of well-favourited caches nearby in the bushland and a variety of types we thought we would head out amongst them and try our luck. They were located along a range of bush tracks amongst the scrub so while dusty, fun to drive. Sadly no emus of kangaroos were spotted today to add to the fun.It truly was a great day caching with a fun range of gadget caches added into the mix. We awarded quite a few favourites to celebrate them, especially as we managed to solve them all.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache DrewEsno.**SKI Pair****

I am from Switzerland...and we travel all states and terretorries of Australia .We do housesitting all over the world and this time we started off in Tasmania .We have been in Adelaide afterwards . Its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching Nggi2 and I decided today to make out of green ones Smilies... on our way to Mildura..It was very hot ..so we could not stop as much as we would have liked . But we eventually had to stop at the quarentaine bin .. Before that we eat the bananas ..the apples and nearly all tomatos..only one was left to throw away. I also watched out about snakes and put my closed shoes on ..just incase , As I did have and encounter with a snake in Tassie.Thank you for this Dsli (which means in Swiss cache )oinkoinkText@camping side

I had grand plans for today but the forecast of 44C is probably going to change that. Let's see what I can get done before I bake. Wink I set off just before dawn to find as many as I could. I found a total of 10 caches, with 6 different types in that lot, and completed 3 ALs all on the bike covering 60km for the morning. Big GrinGlad I stopped for this one. Nicely done. A favourite point for it. Cool

#16751 - 4:42:00 PM; After spending the night in Mildura on the way home from South Australia after collecting the geomobile with Sol de lune, today we set out to collect some of the caches in the area we didn't pick up on previous visits. We managed a good variety of caches and cache types as we made our way around the city and then further afield in our quest. All caches were found in good order considering the recent weather conditions and were returned as found once we had signed the log. TFTC DrewEsno Smile

In town with LuckyL10n for a day before heading back to Canberra, and with a bit of time built into our schedule, we hit up the caches around here. Although I missed this one, LL was on the ball and the cache was soon in hand. Our names safely in the log book/sheet, we were soon onto the next one.

Thanks DrewOSno....great day to be out.
