A great display of . We were originally on the wrong side of the street but soon realised the error in our ways. TFTC
We enjoyed the walk from the ferry terminal. A very nice location to visit. Then a short walk to GZ. Very good. TFTC AussiePam
Spending the Australia Day long weekend in the city. We decided to do a spot of caching before the festivities start. An early morning walk around the northern harbour foreshore was very fruitful.A nice easy offset multi. The roses looked very nice.TFTC
Found the plaque, did the calcs and moved to GZ. Searched the wrong rock wall before one last look at the legitimate site vand saw the cache inn the shadow.TFTC
Ms Atalanta and I set out today on the next leg of our Bondi to Manly walk, but got a bit sidetracked by some geocaches. This was the first.
At WP1, a couple of elderly gents were having a chat next to the plaque, and so we had to explain that we were gathering data to find us a geocache. Then we explained geocaching and had a chat about other things. Eventually we set off to WP2 to find the cache which was not as easy as we thought. Eventually the eagle eyed one of us (with two perfectly good lenses fitted in recent times) spotted the cache only a metre or so from where I had been looking for ages.

OCW JennyFromTheFarm, nice short multi, shame we came at the wrong time of the year to smell the roses. A struggle at GZ as it blended in well and honestly we thought it was hidden elsewhere, thanks AussiePam
Found this one after PAF. It’s in an obvious spot in hindsight, we just had the wrong thing in mind. Beautiful gardens here, plenty of rose plants but none blooming for us today TFTC aussiePam
It’s the end of the season but the roses are still gorgeous. And so many of them! A lovely little surprise. Plus the gardener has his own plaque. We did the calculations and made our way to GZ where we quickly found the newly replaced log. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
I’m visiting from Brisbane and decided to do a walk from Milson’s Point to Bradley’s Head, finding caches along the way. Lovely garden, easy multi and a quick find at gz. The container is rusty, damp and muddy on the outside but ok inside. Tftc
Lovely part of Cremone. Got to GZ and found the plaque and crunched the numbers then a short walk to find the cache. This has been unloved for nearly a year

On my way to the GHHH's Community Event I cris-crossed through the surrounding area for a few of the many caches I have not found yet.
The Roses of Billong Street was a great cache. The roses were in full bloom and some of the scents were amazing! From there it was a short walk to the cache itself which was found in good condition.

Aww this one is so sweet! Definitely gonna have to come back when the roses are in full bloom. I loved it, tftc!
How best to use my lunch hour; jump on a Natural Bay ferry, get off at Kurraba Point, walk up the hill, find a plaque, have a chat to the chap tending to roses, do some quick sums while chatting, find GZ and locate cache before I actually tried, sign wet log, return to wharf, wait 10mins catch ferry and return to the Quay all in just under the hour.
A really enjoyable lunch hour, thanks AussiePam #1227
(Maybe the next finder can do some community maintenance with a new log and sealable bag or maybe I will pop back in a week or so with a solution).

And there I was deciding where to grab a cache or two today when I get a message telling me that a cache I'd previously DNFed had been replaced.
Sounds like a plan. And I can have another try at another DNFed multi closeby.
Day's plan sorted!
Got both caches without too much trouble. Bargain!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
After avenging a previous multi DNF I came here hoping for another. I'd noticed the cache had been found since my DNF, so it was me! [:0]
Walked from the previous find, and checked a few spots, and there it is! Can't believe I couldn't see that last time - it was in one of the logical spots.
Signed, replaced and back to *The Hademobile*.
DNF expunged!

Picked up the clues the other week on regular walk. Was heading in wrong direction then so today popped past to sign.
All good.

All good.
Just after a few finds today to keep the numbers ticking over - and get a decent number of finds in April for only the second time.
Thought I'd target the multis around Neutral Bay / Mosman as I'm after more for the stats.
Didn't start well with two DNFs, but it improved from there. Got three in the end, and then had diabolical traffic all the way home.

Am I having fun yet?
Well...
Got the info easily enough. Then did what a few have done and messed up the calcs. Then fixed that after finding nothing.
But at the real GZ?
Well for a cache others seem to have no problem finding, I had no idea.
Hopefully I missed it, but I do note it's been a while since it was found.
Again gave it up and moved on.
Zero from two!

Thanks for the cache

Parked next to the plaque and saw the house owner talking roses to a neighbour. Decided to take a pic of the plaque and do the sums in the car. Saw that the prize was close by so walked the hill and soon had the CIH.
Would love to come back in 2 months to see the rose display.

It's much easier to find the geocache when you read the words "add" and "subtract" carefully.

Caching in the dark feels *very* dodgy!! But we found it! Quick and fun cache to introduce GeoBoo to the multi cache concept! TFTC! (The cache still smells like it should!!) (photo of log because as usual I had no pen!)
Thanks AussiePam for bringing us here. We will definitely come back in season to see the roses.
Cache was an easy find.
Due to Covid we are not signing the logs and are taking photos.

Thanks for the cache.
This afternoon we took a drive over the Spit Bridge to Kurraba Point, and then on to Waverton, to have a look at some of the newish caches that had appeared on the geomap during the Covid-19 caching restrictions. We suffered a massive 72 day caching slump during the restrictions, so it was good to be out finding caches today to count towards the Memory Lane geo-challenge tally. This was the 1st of 4 finds for the afternoon.
First stop was at this AussiePam MultiCache to “smell the roses”, and hopefully make an "aromatic" find. Unfortunately it’s not currently rose season, but we were surprised to at least see a few nice blooms to sniff & photograph. But, now that we know these lovely gardens are here, we will have to return when the blooms are at their best. Quickly located the plaque and gathered the required information thereon and, after a few computations, we were off to final GZ.
Arrived at final GZ and made a quick find of the nicely stashed cache container. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC AussiePam.

It was rather pleasant to be out caching in the sun this afternoon.
I had some trouble finding a car parking spot when i arrived but eventually found one a way down the street.
The rose garden looked good even being out of flowering season and i soon had the info to find the GZ.
Some mental work and a short walk later and i began my search.
Id like to say that i made a quick find but that would be a lie.
I ended up walking around for quite a while checking all sorts of different spots before finally getting the right one.
Thanks.

An enjoyable stroll in a nice little street in a beautiful suburb. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC Aussiepam
Found with EverestHigh clearing the new AP caches on the north side. The maths was easy, even for Brew, and we had CIH in no time at GZ. TFTC

I’ve waited a long time to type that.....67 days in fact, today was the day we ended our slump
With PDG’s football training recommending in Mosman today I hitched a lift over the bridge.
With Geodog Peppa waiting in the kombi I hopped out to snap a pic of the plaque, then back to work out the numbers.
A short stroll has me at GZ and very soon after I had CIH.
I’ll definitely revisit in peak rose season to see the full effect.

OCW the Bebes after a long old lock down. Glad to be back out and about picking up a few caches. Tftc
I’d noticed this publish last week, and almost managed to back into the area in time to challenge for the FTF.
But when that first log popped up, I shelved it as an nearby option for the future.
With the downpour this evening, I decided this was possibly a better bet than driving any sort of distance for my streak.
I found the plaque quickly and copied the requisite information before returning to my vehicle for the numbers bit.
Having read a previous log, I avoided a rookie error with the maths, and quickly established the location of the hide.
The find was made, and I again sort refuge from the rain in my car.
Signed and replaced.
Thanks for the continued tour of my local area, another spot I’d no idea existed.

After a couple of months lockdown Geodogs' groomer was finally able to see them this morning!!!
Cost a lot more because the fur was so long.
While I was waiting for them I drove here to complete this multi. There's definitely a lot more traffic on the road today, and a lot of the manoeuvres look like the driver hasn't been behind the wheel for several months!
Found the rose garden and the plaque but unfortunately there were less than 10 roses to see. There was still a beautiful perfume in the air even with so few flowers.
Collected the info and went back to the geomobile to do the calculations and wait out the rain which had just started. My initial interpretation of the questions produced a solution nearly a kilometre away so I assumed that wasn't right and tried something different. Second method pointed to just 25m from the geomobile.
While I'd been sitting here I noticed that this street is very busy with walking muggles so I had to time my cache retrieval between the groups. I walked down to the next street to sign the log where I found a beautiful autumn tree.
I'll definitely be back to see the roses in spring.

Went for a wander in the rain down to GZ where I found the rose garden I had probably walked and driven past before without knowing. With umbrella in one hand and phone in the other I was thankful for easy numbers and then made my way to find the sneaky hide. TFTC!
