Logs
Wasnt able to find it today. Had a quick look around but the number of bull ants was concerning. Hopefully another time
A sunny Saturday- a few early afternoon finds before one teenager takes my car. Still cant find a troll somewhere. Curly animals with hooves nibbling the grass nearby. Last maintenance log mentioned a nano, although it was something a little larger. Perseverance and patience got me CIH, TFTC
Today we headed out to Kellyville, catching a 280 bus to Chatswood and a Metro train to Kellyville Metro Station, to do a circuit walk around a cluster of Traditional caches in the area. Walked through the backstreets and along the pedestrian & bicycle pathways, collecting the caches along the way, but also suffering a couple of DNFs as well. The circuit walk ended back at Kellyville Metro Station, where we caught a train back to Chatswood and then a bus back to home. This was the 7th of 9 finds, plus 2 DNFs, for the day.
Continuing along our cachey circuit walk we next came to this one, and it was to be a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Lots of new houses going up around here. TFTC Rainbow Bears & YolkieB.

Came here on Christmas Day with no luck. Noticed a few others had found this one since I was here last so I thought I’d give it another look. Found the cache within seconds this time. Funny how that happens! Tftc!!
A very little bush bash and made a quick find
Thanks Rainbow Bears for placing this cache GC8R8DJ

Howdy All,
I have changed the cache container to a nano, which should help in this often wet environment.
Cache on!

Out this way again for weekend sport so with an earlier finish and still some light it was time to make so more finds. Had to get our urban micro skills back into action but it all came back with a bit of thought and where would I hid it approach even if the phone went else where at times.
We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

With all the wet weather we've had of late as well as life getting in the way, it's been quite a while since I've been for a bike ride.
So last night, I decided to rectify this and head out to the Kellyville area today for some bike riding and caching.
Again I was concerned about our slithery mates with the high grass. At least I found the cache quickly. The log was damp but I managed to sign my moniker. Love the sheep nearby. so pleased to see and element of "rural" still in Kellyville.
No snakes but as I turned around, there was a Blue Tongue looking at me!!!
Thanks for the geofun.

This one could do with a maintenance visit as the log is quite damp and the container had water in it, which I did empty out. Perhaps a more waterproof container could be employed.
On approach to GZ I was bemused to see the adjacent block of land with about a dozen sheep and lambs roaming about, in the middle of Kellyville! The hint helped narrow down the search and soon had CIH. SL and replaced. TFTC Rainbow Bears & YolkieB!
I think I had attempted this about a year ago just after the heavy flooding season.
Now I’m back, after TWO weeks of non-stop rain. So clearly I’m not the best at picking times.
Checked the hint which made a very easy find. Ziploc inside is pretty beat up, but log was somewhat dry. TFTC

Heading towards this afternoon's event I took the route that provided a few caches I had not found. It also provided some surprises with the amount of roadworks and extra housing since I was last out this way.
I parked the geomobile not far from GZ and having read some logs that suggested snakes might be around I changed into my gum boots.
No worries though as I was able to follow a pathway and then it was just a few metres of that to the cache through a clear zone. The cache was quickly spotted. Due to lockdown there were lots of unloved days for me!
I like exploring bush tracks so hope you place a few more caches along these tracks to bring me back here.

Now that lockdowns are easing I have enabled the cache again. Please take care. Happy Caching!!
Cache has been disabled due to the current COVID 19 lockdown in Sydney. I will enable once the lockdown is over.
Passing through this afternoon and stopped for a couple finds for the day. Cool enough to wander through the grass now without bothering wriggly sticks. Thanks Rainbow Bears & YolkieB.
After having found 'Arnold Avenue Reserve, we continued on to this one. Left the path and headed into the bush and almost immediately found the cache.

Was a but hesitant going into bush due to snakes, but we needed this find, so off we go and wasn't long before CIH TFTC
I'm glad there was a hint. Tree coverage def made the arrow twist and turn.
TFTC. We were a bit hesitant about going into the bush as we had just seen two red belly black snakes.
Finally after 2 DNF we have one. Trying to get to 400 before NY. TFTC only 4 to go now.
A quick park and grab cache in a new area I haven’t been to before. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

Cache Log:
I tried to find a cache on my break earlier in the day but the only one was 10 minutes away, then i needed to find it and head back and with only 30 minutes, it was too close so, with me finishing at 2300, I figured this was more than enough time to find one after work.
Well, I searched and came up with this one. Seemed easy enough.
Got there, and was like, oh, this isn't nearly as easy as i thought it would be. During the day, maybe but not with 8 minutes to go until midnight.
i read the hint which narrowed it well down and BOOM, cache in hand with 4 minutes to spare. Took a photo for time and date evidence, signed the cache and left it back as found.
Considered searching for another to get my Friday cache in but chose not to because we have some TBs we need to offload to a regular size cache and so needed the motivation to do that later in the day.
Thanks Rainbow Bears & YolkieB for hiding this cache.

We found trads and multis and had some dnf's but best of all we had a great day out and I would like to thank the various CO's for providing the caches.

Would of been a tough find without the hint, as I headed straight for the rockery and started there. Sneaked a peak at the hint after exhausted that area, thanks for the placement

For today's walk I drove to neighboring Kellyville, and besides walking the dog I also took the opportunity to find a few caches along the way.

While checking out the emails after dinner we saw that this cache did not have any logs yet, so we went out for a bit of night caching with ilook4geo and maybe a FTF. Night caching is not really our thing so it was lovely to be able to find this cache quickly and easily as the co-ords were good. Many thanks go to Rainbow Bears & YolkieB for placing this cache.
Got the torches out tonight and went caching with goingplaces2. No problem in finding the container. All good. TFTC.
