I'm a bit better than a beginner with Excel, so I had this one solved in a respectably short time. After finding the multi on the other side of the hill, I walked to this one for a quick find. It wasn't 8 o'clock but the day was hot already. This box has become brittle and one of the latches is only doing half its job. I believe it will be waterproof for a while yet, but it could do with a new container.
With a day off work, I decided to head up the Brisbane Valley for a spot of caching. Having completed the Blue Trail along Sheepstation Inlet Road, I went for a short stroll along the Red Trail to grab this cache. Nice little bush bash to GZ. TFTmysteryC. TNLN. SL. TBs Prado Owl ; The Great Leap Forward Geocoin ; Bee Croc ; Rawhide ; RobS72 2000 Finds GC ; Forest Hill Ear Tag ; Iceland Geocoin ; and Kiwi Bird visited.Find # 2230.
FoundOut with IolantheK doing some radio field trials up the Brisbane valley and collecting some caches as we went [^]
IolantheK did the work on the puzzle this time [^]
Nice easy find at solved co-ords, just a bee line walk off the track [^]

Today T-Tech and I have a whole day of geocaching planned!!! We drove from our place via Mount Glorious to Fernvale for an Event, then on to Coominya and Wivenhoe Hill, before heading north through Esk and Yimbun and along Gregor's Creek Road to Kilcoy. Loads of fun!
I had fun solving this cache, and my high school math lessons proved useful yet again.
We were pretty hot and tired after out walk out to Sheepstation Inlet, but still made the effort to get this CO's other 2 caches here as well. It's a surprisingly easy wander along this trail, and as T-Tech said we made bee lines to each of the caches. Great co-ords for both made for straightforward finds. TFTC, Ms Maddy.

I was in the area today and had time to stop by to find a couple of recently solved puzzle caches.
A nice little walk from the gate to here and a quick find made for a smile on my face.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Trekking through knee high grass with HippyDonna after an absence from caching, great to be back. TFTC
After attending the event we decided to head here to give these caches some love. Headed in here with a couple of other sketchy cachers. Logged signed by Caro before heading back down the path to the car. TFTC Ms Maddy
I had looked at this puzzle multiple times before I could finally solve it! With an event on nearby, it was decided that today would be the day to finally get the smiley. Setting off, we were lulled into a false sense of security by the wide track and beautiful scenery. Oh but then came the hard work! Luckily there was some shade back on the track as a reprieve before setting off again. TFTC
Having attended an event today with this CO as the hostess, it was only fitting that on our way home we should stop and find this one that has been sitting in my solved list for far too long. Like the weeds here, far too long!
With stick in one hand and twiggy tuft in other to bat away the evil biting flies, our names were soon added to the log book. Nice bit of unloved here too. Thanks for the puzzle and cache, Ms Maddy!

After attending the event held by the CO today we decided to stick with a MsMaddy theme and collect three of her mystery puzzles. This one I have had in my solved list for a very long time (pre cancer) and today was the day to tick it off my list.
What a hot day at Wivenhoe! When we rocked up we parked up behind WallabyWanderers who had to keep Zelda the dog in the car because the ground was too hot for her feet! Caro, the she part of WallabyWanderers ( ) and Kestal had just arrived back from the very caches MrGravel and I were targeting and looked a bit worse for wear. Thankfully they reported that all was OK with said cache because there is nothing worse than a DNF on such a hot day!
The walk to the cache was nice and cruisey along the gravel track UNTIL it was time to bush bash!!
The heat did not let up and in fact just laughed at us as we perspired!
But heat, sun and bush bashing was not stopping MrGravel and I - so we had great pleasure in signing the lovely dry log.
Thanks for placing a cache (or a few )in this area MsMaddy - it is a lovely area but I must remember I prefer to do these cache types in Winter! LOL

In Queensland for a few days to visit some friends and attend an 18th. The benefit of them growing up is having people eager to drive you around! With one on their P’s and one on their L’s desperate for hours, convincing them to take me caching was easy! (Particularly as they refuse to do any more walks with me after yesterday!).
I managed to convince one muggle to come for a wander with me and we left the rest in the car. We got as close as we could along the path and then the bush bash began. I thought I was used to grass seeds in Victoria, but these waist height black spiny plants here are the devil. I think I removed upwards of 200 of the buggers from my shorts and tshirt, poking me at every opportunity they could.
Fortunately we found the cache and go out of there as soon as we could.
Thanks Ms Maddy for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

The invisible spider webs and long grass with bird and prickles made this a little more than a T2 but it was a quick find. Thanks for the cache
Finally managed a visit to QLD after 2 years of planning and 6 lockdowns. New LGA's for me and fav caches were the main caches of focus.
Another in my solved list. A very hot walk to GZ with many spiders so was happy for the quick find.
Thanks to Ms Maddy for the placement and fun.

I enjoyed this puzzle and with a rare day off, dodging storms I decided to head out and find it. It was an enjoyable walk and there were only a few spider webs to avoid. Once at GZ the cache was quickly located and log was signed. Replaced as found and headed back to the car.

We are currently staying at the Lowood Showgrounds and with fine weather today and feeling the need for some exercise we headed out to attempt this cache. We parked and headed off down the path after a short time we headed off path to the final few meters to the cache. On our outwards journey we needed to remove quite a few prickly style from our clothes. A great puzzle. SL TFTC
I'd solved the jigsaw previously, hadn't realised we weren't signed in and lost the puzzle.... I also lost the plot as the Dayboro Horse puzzles were then released. So the night before arriving at the dam MrG did it again and solved the puzzle.
We planned on spending the day at Wivenhoe with some kayaking, walking and bike riding. This was found during the walking phase. TFTC Ms Maddy.

Some of the jigsaw puzzles send us totally mad. This one was beautiful.
Today, after attending the Geocaching event on the other side of this lake, we drove to this area and took a really long walk in an anticlockwise loop.
Having solved the jigsaw, it was then a case of finding a path to avoid the spiderwebs in the late afternoon after leaving the main path.
Thanks Ms Maddy.
By the time we arrived at GZ, our walk had taken us more than 11K and we still had more to do.
Nice puzzle and location

Noticed this rather little loved puzzle last night, so just had to solve it. Of course, then I ahd to find it, so set off early-ish today for a lovely drive. Didn't like the look of my planned approach from the grid at the corner, so looked on the Google Earth print and found an alternative, which happened to have NO COBBLERS PEGS! Son tracked down the container with all its little creatures, and added to the log. Wandering back to the car through about 50 mm of talc-like dust was a bit much, but what must be done - . TFTC, Ms Maddy, for a delightful Not park and grab!
We enjoyed doing this puzzle, and then the next.
Today we walked a familiar path until it was time to peel left. Great coords here meant we soon found the cache. Love the cache guardian.
All is in great condition here. Thanks Ms Maddy.

Spending several days caching with geo friends in the local district and this one was on our to do list of land based caches after three days on the water.
Nice quick jigsaw but then five heads together couldn't see much movement in getting a good set of co-ords. All tired and about to give up, RoddyC decided on a PAF to put us out of our misery but we still struggled to complete it. Echocage1 persisted into the night and finally solved it long after I was counting sheep. Thanks for the help CO, good puzzle & hide with lots of critters keeping watch...a favourite point from me.

It's time to do some caches on the way home from a wonderful four days in Somerset.
Had some real fun last night in our Motel solving this. Puzzle blindness until the CO put me out of my misery with a hint (thank you).
Cache located, log signed and all replaced as found. TFTC, Ms Maddy, at 9:20 AM on September 7, 2020.

22 Minutes.... that’s how long I’ve been removing cobblers pegs.... Does it say something about me that I look upon a sea of cobblers pegs with trepidation... I had no plan to find this cache so only completed the puzzles in the field on a iPhone... probably not the smartest move, but not my silliest today either...
And now I’m back at the car I see there is a checker!!! Well that would have helped narrow down my options, lucky though it was in the first waypoint I’d entered...
3 trads, 1 multi, 1 letterbox and this mystery... I know there is another mystery here I’m just not smart enough to solve it...
Five hours... and I only saw 1 other person... glad I did this circuit in Winter...
Left some American coin and Mmmmm Donuts! Tb to carry on... tftc...

FTF, 11.15am. If you told me when I woke up on the Sunshine Coast that, later that morning, I would find myself lost in the woods (well, lost in the farmer's friends...) looking for a geocache well west of Brisbane, I'd have told you to get your hands off it, Darryl. Let's just say things escalated quickly. The short story is that I was called down to a rello's place in Bris to help with a furniture delivery because she couldn't be around, only for the delivery time to be massively delayed. (Wouldn't read about it, right?) So, lots of time on my hands. And a cracking winter's day.
One new cache notification and a quick puzzle solve later, and I'm heading into the countryside. After a brief pause at Fernvale for probably one of the five best pies I've eaten in my life, I parked at the closest spot and started a pleasant stroll in an area I've not explored. There were some bikes and horses around, but in a break from them I began the gentle bush bash to GZ. There I was met with a generously filled container (presumably Ted on top?) and the welcome sight of an empty log book.
Back on the path, I carried out a long cobbler's peg extraction process before heading off down the track to see what else I could find. Nice puzzle and cache, Ms Maddy – thanks!
