I was on a mission to grab some traditional numbers for a challenge I am actively working on - with a deadline. So a morning was organised with Gcoven to catch up and hunt some numbers. I did a search for caches that neither of us had found and werent too far away and we landed up in this area. Without too much of a plan we headed up picking of the caches as we came across them on the map. Had success with all bar one and even managed to find a few that had the last find was a DNF - normally on a numbers run I would have excluded those, so it was pleasing that we were able to find them. Also managed to find two rock wall caches - I should buy my lotto ticket now. All in all a very good and successful morning that reduces my needed numbers by a decent amount
Checked this cache out today after the resent two DNF's. Cache still in place and easily accessible.
Didnt not find this one, thinking its because of the overgrown weeds around couldnt see much even when you went through them
Found on ground beside likely spot and placed back. Thanks for cacheLog and container in good condition
Cache was lying out in the open. Have returned to obvious location. All in good condition here.TFTC!
Thought Id knock over a couple of hits while I was grocery shopping. A great location. Thanks dickbev.
Home was beckoning me, but so were a few Beerwah geocaches, so with a small break in the weather / minor drizzle, I decided to head to this cache and prepare for a short walk south. I parked beneath the bridge, and the cache was a reasonably quick find given the limited options for a hiding spot. Note that the geocache wasn't a small screwtop micro container as per the description, but actually an Eclipse mint container. The lid is starting to rust pretty well and fuse together given its last find two months ago. Otherwise, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [dickbev](https://coord.info/PRA3Z4H) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This morning, it was an early start and attended the [Views from Mount Coochin](https://coord.info/GCANX2W) event in the Glass House Mountains. Mount Coochin was a minor twin peak that hadn't been on my radar before today, and it was a great yet short loop walk. After grabbing a few geocaches nearby in Beerwah, I utilised the short dry weather window before forecasted rain to geocache west to Peachester, where I had an early lunch. When inclement weather set in, I decided to make my way home via Beerwah, and then south via the Glass House Mountains.
I headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few along the way up the coast.I found your cache, Let There Be Light today. This is my 2767 find.Short walk from another cache nearby. Quickly found, signed and replaced.dickbev, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Initially tried to find this one from the bridge, but then soon realised a change of altitide was needed, dagnavit! Once some muggles had passed on by I quickly made the find and placed the cache back as found. Thanks for bringing me here dickbev!
Hello Dickbev we found your cache 4:30pm on the 02/09/2023 with DL197. This was an interesting spot lots of people walking or walking there dogs thought we were super weird lol haha but we found the cache without the muggles seeing. TFTC Zojo and Bryce3515

Find 25 of 40 on a full day of caching, driving down from Maleny on the old road into Landsborough, then getting the bikes out for a 30km ride around Landsborough and down to Beerwah and back, then driving back up via Peachester picking off as many caches as we could on the way. An excellent day out with some brilliantly constructed caches to enjoy.
Found what we suspect is a replacement - all good here.
TFTC dickbev!

For the second week in a row I jumped in the Geo van and headed north for a few days of caching. I spent Friday night staying near the glass house mountains before kicking off the day with a few traditional
After making my way to ground zero I quickly spied the hide, which I soon extracted and made my mark on the log. The cache was quickly replaced into its hides hole and I was soon on my way.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

Beaut country hereabouts. Sure was a nifty little container. Thanks for bringing us along here.
Holly was playing netball at Caboolture for 5 hours, so after making sure she had lots of water and was smothered in suncream, I dropped her off and then headed towards Beewah to pick up a few caches.
This was a nice quick find one the coast was clear.
Thanks!!

Took a little while but Beautiful Wife wasn’t giving up on this one. Cute cache. TFTC
Alyce and I decided to head to Beerwah and Peachester today to grab a bunch of caches, this time we took the three little ones along to get them out the house and away from their devices so they could enjoy the great outdoors and explore some unvisited locations.
We had a fantastic day exploring new areas we haven’t visited before and the kiddies enjoyed the day too, but they got a little agitated towards the end so we called it quits at Peachester and made our way to Woodford to grab a late lunch before heading home.
We would like to thank each and every CO for given us a reason to visit.
Apologies for the generic log.

Our for stroll with the geohound this morning and thought I'd take a look at a couple of caches. Couple of guys "smoking" in a car right in front of the cache GZ when I arrived so I detoured for a bit and came back. Quick find. Love the container, very clever. TFTC TNLNSL.
Back on the Sunshine Coast to grab a few more caches.

Today is normally my grandma day but i had that yesterday and my husband is away for the weekend. so when the cats away the mouse will play. Well my type of play is geocaching and my main target today was to go to peachester cemetery and collect smileys along the way. I saw a likely hiding spot and after looking in all the hiding spots i found it in the last place i looked. Nice crafty cache. Thank you for placing it here for us to enjoy
Oh oh! So cute!

Willis007 and I had the opportunity to head up to the sunshine coast for the day and collect a few caches before the night time event and the GIFF presentation. We were looking at targeting the Landsborough area and then the pelican waters caches before heading to Coolum. We were pretty much on track all day with just a few targets that will have to wait until next time. Overall we got in a few labs finished off and a fun few caches. It was a long but profitable day, and a lot of chats and fun along the way, thanks to all the CO’s for the hides.
This one was a fun hide, not where I was expecting to find it but close and not seen a cache like this one before, nice. We quickly signed the log and were off to the next one, thanks.

The final Wacky Wednesday of term, and sadly only wombles and co and I could make it today.
Having started the morning over at Toorbul, we next decided to make our way here.
With two here under our belt, we wandered along to this one, and waiting for a car or two to pass, we then began our search. Funnily enough we missed it on our first searches, but soon rechecked this bit and came up with another of those odd little dickbev creations.
Thanks for the cache dickbev.

We are staying in the nearby caravan park in the sports ground. Having enjoyed a nice meal at the local hotel we decided to walk back to our caravan via this cache. It was dark and muggle free, with our torches on we spied something interesting; what a clever homemade cache so much easier to access the logbook than the bought micro containers. TFTC

Heading north to attend a Celebration Event at Caloundra so stopped off to get some caches along the way. I drove along the road to find a park and the road was being manned by people to check out what, where the sport they were attending as to who parks where. I explained that I didn't want to park for long, only 5 or 10 minutes. One lady wanted to know what I was looking for as I explained the game but I said I couldn't really tell her what it was until I found it. She was a bit doubtful so when I was looking Deaf Phantom and Deaf Cat arrived to join. Soon had it in hand and signing the log then showed the lady in question and she was quite surprised but the smell of a dead snake very close to GZ made us hurry off when we replaced the cache. TFTC
We parked at the sports ground and walked over. What a cute cache, although at first I thought it wasn't as I didn't see the log. Fav pt given tftc
We had enjoyed our walk up from where we parked evaluating what foods we should combine in our charcuterie. Mrs Woodyrothwell seems to have a strange fascination with pickles, and seems to find any reason to combine them with all sorts of food, but seems to forget that I sleep next to her and can attest that a pickle-bomb in the middle of the night is not something you would wish on your worst enemy (take a breath after that long sentence).
Without doubt, graffiti is a scourge on society, but it also gives rise to what could be the best job on the planet; “the graffiti fixer-upperer”. The job description is that you drive around all day with a can of paint and brush on a stick that reaches high places. You get to cover up what crims spend hours on in minutes and even on a quiet day you can always give the paint a little sniff.
This place must be a common spot because we could see all the different paint colours used to cover up the tags and other waste of space. The worst job on the planet must be the person that picks the paint colours to cover graffiti. tftc
