I had so much trouble with these when I first started geocaching. First because I couldn't find them, and then because I didn't have the right tool. Glad I finally feel like I know what I'm doing!
Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Saturn's day the nineteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A quick find here today. Cache is all goodTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Nice quick find in the logical spot. Thanks for the cache and Happy International Geocaching Day!
Dromaniax and I have signed a challenge cache last year that requires finding caches with the "Special Tool Required" attribute and after not getting enough last year we were going to let this year going by without making up our numbers. We found a concentration of cache over on this side of the city so that is where we headed today. We had a cache nearby targeted and when we parked we spotted this little guy even closer so we wondered over for Dromaniax to quickly spot the hide.Thank you Jamiepome for the hide
Today was the day Sims_family and Dromaniax went on a cache hunt in the big smoke. We had both signed a challenge cache that requires 18 caches with the "Special Tool Required" attributes to be found in the August requirement. We were determined to claim that Challenge cache this year rather than wait another 12 months, so we drew up a list of caches. There is quite a concentration in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, so that was where we headed today. We saw quite a few clever ways of hiding caches, and the special tools we required today varied. We both achieved our goal today and had the bonus of picking up several other caches.Thank you, jamiepome, for this Traditional cache.
Down for Sydney for a week. Staying with family nearby and set off for a walk on this lovely suburban walking path. Made this find but only after spending time nearby searching a likely object. Like these type. Thanks for sharing this location jamiepome #2760
TwoEms did take a load off with a hyper, excited furball sitting in between us. He was panting and trying to lick one of us while the other was getting some water for him from one of those fancy-pants-portable-plastic-water dispensers. The little prince lapped up the water and slobbered it all over our legs as he shook the entire length of his hairy bodysending flying bits of muck everywhere. He was super excited to sniff out this new place, and soon leapt off the seat to snuffle about like a crazed pig looking for truffles. As this small drama was unfolding, a muggle couple were approaching along the path and stopped in front of us just as the restless beast had settled down with those deceptively, sweet, doey wide eyes. The lady turned to us and said, can I just say, he looks like one very happy dog. Yes, we smiled. This pooch is one spoilt fur-baby that well be returning to our muggle parents soon. After the friendly couple had gone, we made a quick find and managed to take a snap of the view before the hound yanked us away. Thank you for the cache.
Located the container quite quickly after a short stroll through a lovely park. There was no log in the container so signed a small piece of paper and added as temp log. TFTC
Happy to get out for a quick walk/ find. This ticked the boxes given Im time poor today - short drive, short walk, short search.TFTC and adventure.
Heading home after an appointment, I stopped to search out a few caches . This was a quick find of a familiar container type, but extracting the log was a challenge. Fortunately no muggles about so I could take my time to extract, sign, and reset the log carefully. TFTC jamiepome
With my initial caching plans railroaded, my change of plans brought me to this cache. And it was a nice surprise. Also, a nice park...frisbee anyone?
Took a while for passing walkers to be out of sight before I could have a look for this one, but got it eventually! TFTC
TFTC nice easy find and took a seat to sign log. Packaged up log neatly and it fit it well
On a time limit as my geopartner was getting tired of me saying “just one more cache”. So while the better half waited in the car, I took a load off. While not a great strategy on the hands, when in a rush I often run my hand over and in places where I think a cache may be. That worked a treat, and nice to see another tricky cache of this style in the wild.

Find #13846
Looks like I have some online logs to catch up on. Remembering each one is the hardest part.
Did this one on a big 18km loop walk after buying a new puffy jacket from Magpac. It's toasty!
Massive thanks go to jamiepome for placing this one.

After an ultimately fruitless search for the nearby D5 I figured I should pick up this one before leaving so my trip over was not all for nothing.
Thankfully this was did not cause nearly as much difficulty and I soon had the log signed and replaced as found. These ones are always nice to find.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the log nice and dry.

Found cache at 10:15
After arriving in Melbourne yesterday, we’re spending the day caching out in the suburbs, grabbing good DTs and different cache types. Quick find, not sure it was replaced as it should’ve been though…
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache jamiepome

Put in a new log and fixed it. When putting it back together don't do it up to tight please. Happy hunting.
Found after a bit of searching. Cool cache. Log is falling apart and needs to be replaced
After having found the nearby Family View I headed off to find this cache. All quiet in this reserve and a quick search located the container. Thanks to jamiepome for the cache.
Found it!
Great spot to have a sit down and ponder
Log is wet and will need to be replaced, I was unable to sign it

It was a lovely day for a walk this morning, a big change from recent rainy weather. What to do but go caching before the rain started again. I had guessed where the cache might be so the search didn’t take too long. Thanks Jamiepome for placing the cache.
We thought it was the obvious spot but couldn't find anything. Searched a bit harder and returned to the obvious spot. Bingo! It was there all along.. Very clever hide we love when cachers put effort into their cache hides! Thanks jaimepome
*Found on the 9 Jul 2022 @ 3:50 pm.*
*Cache find # 13068.*
While out and about finding a few caches, I noticed this one on the map so I stopped for a look around.
After a quick look, I then needed a better look to actually find this one.

Found by Rebel Acts.
My son had his Musical recital at Box Hill Tafe today so I grabbed a handful of caches on route.
This is one of the caches found today. Have seen a few of these so was a nice quick find here.

I was wanting to get this one ages ago but couldn’t due to muggle activity. I was unable to sign it as I didn’t have tweezers on me. Will send proof of find to owner. TFTC
Took a while because of so many muggles and had to tap a lot to get the log but got there in the end! TFTC
After looking at the previous logs, I didn’t have too much hope for this one, but I had a look anyway, and I found it! Very cool cache.
I found this cache today on my Ringwood Round Trip Caching Day. My last cache pick up in this linear park. Thanks from D B-A
Thanks for the rest and the cache. Took a bit of tapping to extract the log but all good. TFTC
Found plenty of caches hidden like this but not in this type of container. Nice one! TFTC
Easy find but the wind was freezing today so I was glad that I didn't have to spend too long here. TFTC
Thanks for placing an easy one. We haven't been having much luck lately. The log is in good condition. Signed with initials only. Tftc
After our 2nd dnf at a nearby D5, we wanted an easy find. Found and replaced between muggles. TFTC

It was a perfect day.
Golden sunshine
Blue skies
A gentle, cool zephyr.
Birds happily singing.
With the love of my life.
And a geocache.
As I said, it was a perfect day!
Heymissjo and I appreciated taking a load off here to enjoy some rare peace and pause from life for a while.
Thanks, jaimepome.

A nice easy stroll to gz in the sunshine with The Welder. No muggles around so the find was made quick and easy. We could sit and enjoy the breeze whilst writing our log. Cache all okay. Thanks for the hide.

I had a fair idea where this little chap would be hiding and I was right. An excellent spot for a cache.
I had a pleasant afternoon introducing a friend to caching. This was her second find. My tweezers came in handy to extract the log. TFTC jamiepome
I had just finished updating my cache Database and was using a new macro to filter caches. As a test I thought I would go and find a cache which was close to home. This one was ideal. no trouble with the location or find the cache, which was in good condition. Thanks jamiepome

Quick dash to look for this one in between heavy showers.
Luckily a quick, easy find and made it back to the car before the rain started again.

I headed out for a walk and to do a spot of caching along the way. Parking at the top of this trail I made my way down towards the creek and looked for the caches here. As I approached GZ a few dogwalkers seemed to appear from nowhere. I ended up waiting them out in order to look for the cache with no interruptions. All in good condition here. A few trackables were visited today. TFTC jamiepome
I’m sure I looked there the first time !

On a walk with a friend this morning, we came upon this one just as the rain started again. Thankfully, there was some shelter here so all was well. I had guessed the type of hide, but we missed it on our first sweep and looked at the other likely location for a while. Eventually, i returned to where i started and soon had this sneaky little cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache, jamiepome.

We had decided to make use of the great weather and search for some caches. This is one that we found in our travels. Thanks for placing it.
Great day to be out and about. Today we ventured back to the west within our 25km limit, exploring within our boundaries.
Nice quick find here.

After our adventures in this area on Wednesday Geodaughter was clearly a little put out that we hadn't visited the local playground - so when I asked "what shall we do today?" - she responded "Ooshie playgorund" (long story related to our find on Wednesday). This gave me the opportunity to visit the DNFs again. I saw that this one had been found since I visited and I was determined to get it. As I approached GZ I saw it instantly - I swear it wasn't there on Wednesday - I specifically looked at that spot. Nevermind - caching blindness strikes again. TFTC
With the easing of restrictions it seemed like a good time to do a Saturday morning cache run. Some mixed success and some great caches in an area that I had only passed through in the past. This was my fourth find of six in total and after a few finds down by the creek trail I carried on through this reserve. No problems at this one and as the name suggested I was able to take a seat and add my mark to the logbook. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and the series along here jamiepome.

A quick find. A new log is required as its totally full. Did find a gap in the middle on the 1st side but no more. Nice style used here.
Looks like quite a nice open green wedge this one. I'll be back to find the others soon.
Day 118 of 366 completed.

No luck for us again today. Caching blindness? We've ben out of the game due to lockdown for so long, it might take some time to get the geosenses back.
Took a bike ride over here and parked the bike and took a load off. About to start searching, muggle coming so took a load off. Started searching again, another muggle, took a load off. Kept searching then eventually found it hiding behind my bike. Shouldn’t have parked it there. Thanks jamiepome for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
Felt a bit wrong to 'take a load off' when i hadnt really walked very far . Knew what i was looking for and just found the right spot for my 'load'. Cache in hand and replaced before the walkers popped along. TFTC
