Having the weekend off I took the time for sightseeing and geocaching. Thank you very much for showing me this nice place.Cache in good condition. TFTC Hbste
It was time for another drive in the country and the hills with Doctor Owl searching for never ending caches. We had targeted a few of the Jigidis along with others that we both hadn't found. I was really feeling my age at times along with my wonky foot and knee, but I made it to most of the caches even if very slowly (my balance is not too good in bush settings). Another fun day with a lovely meal at the Eden Valley pub along with a return visit for coffee on the way home. We encountered flies and ants, rabbits and a sleepy lizard, but thankfully no snakes. We went the log way around to get to the road up to the lookout, but we got there in the end. Spent quite a while looking in all the possible hiding places and eventually spotted the cache in a place I'm sure we looked at before! Enjoyed the view as we were walking to and from GZ.Thanks for the cache Mattycat.
Two old birds with dodgy knees (Owl and JJ52) headed out for a nice leisurely drive in the country that just happened to pass lots of caches. As before jigidis were the target, but there was also maintenance to be done, ants and flies to dodge, a lovely pub meal and later coffee to be consumed in Eden Valley and the usual convivial conversation to enjoy. A nice view from here, but the cache was causing problems for Owl's knees until the Dragon spotted it in a much easier place.
We are in a rental motorhome and travelling north of Adelaide before making our way to Melbourne over the next few weeks. We stopped here for a break, enjoyed reading about the history of the area and finding the cache. All good here, TFTC Mattycat and a fave from us.
Wow how did we not know this was here Stunning Adventuring with jamesta18 today around the area and wow so happy we found this spot ! Planning out next visit and picnic as we speak Its so green at the moment, I can imagine summertime would be different Definitely deserves a fav point for locationTFTC
Second time visiting here today, kyliesmiley being the shortest found this cache reasonably quick. Ive had my fill of these type of cache containers today. TFTCAesome views and the cross is pretty cool
Wow, what a beautiful view. So luck to have come while it is still green. Would be a lovely place for a picnic and some Eden Valley Reisling
Find # 14600Been a while since I've been out solo for a long trip. But things change over time. And I'm living the past.So with some time off work, I've jumped the border wall to chase down some long trails in South Aussie... don't know how many I'll get. But I've got quite a few downloaded. I do have a short hit list ( of 2) caches to help with a challenge. All others are just for the Adventure and countryside views. Armed with all the necessary TOTT from tweezers and magnet grab to 6m ladder and 8m fishing pole. I believe I'm prepared for all that I'll come across. (Just had to leave the Kayak at home )Day 2. Murray Bridge to Swan Reach, via Nuriootpa to visit Geostuff.Managed to get my hit list, of 2 done today... a few others thrown in. A couple of short sharp trails and the fireman's hat.... then focused on the high Terrain "On your bike" caches west of Swan Reach...I've been up this lookout a number of times in my trips to SA. Even before Caching I came up here... Happy to have another smiley attached to another visit. TFTC Dazzle072

Found on 19/9 but forgot to log (sorry). We were back from Tassie for a week visiting family. We can see our old house from this cache
Out for the day with sesall on a bit of Rd trip thanks for the find absolute beautiful spot thanks
As this location was close to the main road, we took a short detour to the parking spot. Then it was a short walk to GZ where accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Then we took time to take in the excellent views from this lookout. Thanks Dazzle072 for the cache.
Found during a drive in the Hills on a cold, wet, wintry day. Great views from up here. Thanks for the cache Dazzle072!
We enjoyed a sunny day, travelling the country roads, admiring the views and finding caches

Out for a days caching in the area, targeting a few specific caches to help complete our Day Hidden calendar and our Jasmer Calendar. Lots of great caches were found, some very creative while others had great views. This one helped put another smiley on our map. Windy up here today, as it likely is most days. Could imagine in Winter, with the green hills, the view up here would be spectacular. TFTC
A majestic view around sunset. I was lucky to find myself up here alone as the sun was sinking into the west. Almost a religious experience. [^]
I noted the previous log and stopped and checked out the cache. Looks like I had found this one with Freddo way back on 7 July 2012. That cache (GC2D1F0) even had history back then - it had turned into a multi and moved. It caused us some grief, but that's another story.
Thanks to Dazzle072 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
Quick find on our 10 month tour from the Gold Coast to Darwin, Broome, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
Finding caches in spots like this make very pleasant interludes on our journey.
Thanks for the cache

Hi
Just out of interest,
On the way out from the lookout I noticed a small plastic container at the base of the large gum tree which the road has to bend around.
It would have originally been tucked away inside the large cavity at the trees base.
It turns out to be an archived geocache

Gr8 veiw while having a look more of a small cache then micro but still a nice find
Exploring the Barossa region today and on the way back to base Spotted this cache up a side trail.
Not a fan of that huge cross, it could suggest this lookout and picnic ground is exclusive to certain enclaves. But logged the cache and on my way

Heading south to tackle some geo art near Murray Bridge, picking up Sebastbat and Mattycat along the way, this was a slight detour so two of us could claim a find, despite the factt the heavens opened up we found the hide in quick time or was it divine help either way we added our names to the log
