Had a look around for some time but will have to DNF so we can look for others
Cache has been replaced, all good for someone to find. Please place back as found for others to enjoy.
DNF. No doubt its still there as I note previous logs mentioning the great cammo, but with the tide rising I couldnt stay any longer today. Will try again another time. TFTC anyway!
Simber15 I found your cache Beached on 7/8/2023, 10:30 am. This is my find 5948 and find # 1 today. After there were finds after my DNF, thought I’d check it out again. After a half hour of searching still came up with nothing. Sent a message to Davinells who replied with a extra hint. With that extra hint it narrowed my search. Soon had CIH. Not what I was expecting to find. Thanks again to Davinells for a quick reply. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Paddled on the high tide this morning, now back on the same beach for a walk at low tide.
Some of the rocks here are very slippery, we had a few near misses.
A difficult find, even with four pairs of eyes
Thank you for this cache

Davinells, Beardman75, Karicka have spent the day on and around Bribie Island… a whole day of caching means the tides were ideal for Wading, so I asked if we could visit here to avenge my DNF from almost three years ago…
Surely with this combined level of experience it would be a short hunt… na-ah… perhaps it was the couple of near misses on the way in…
It was Karicka who finally asked “should we sign this cache?” As he stood there with it in his hand…
Thanks Simber15

Davinells, Karicka, Peppa, and I were caching around Bribie and we slipped and slid our way here and searched for a while before Karicka located it. Thanks for the fun Simber15
An awesome day of caching with Peppa, Beardman75 and karicka on and around Bribie Island. Having paddled for the morning at high tide then took a drive along the beach, the tide has now turned and we have timed it perfectly for a walk to this cache at low tide.
It was a slippery walk around, and more than a few times it could have ended bad, but all of us managed to keep our feet. It was a bit of a search at GZ before karicka found the well hidden cache.
Really enjoyed looking at the varying colours and patterns in the rocks on the walk around. Nice location! Tftc Simber15

Well, that was a bit of fun and we came out of it a lot cleaner than we expected. Thought we were following a geotrail, but saw a number of fisher folk a few hundred meters out to sea standing on the flats.
Mr TiedyeSmileys did almost slip in.
We used to own a cache in a tree in magroves North of Adelaide. It was a big wooden box in the shape of an outhouse complete with Woody from toy story sitting on the loo.
All was good until a family of rats moved in shredding the contents and scaring the heck out of goecachers that opened it.
No such problem here today
TFTC and greetings from Tassie

Simber15 I didn’t find your cache Beached on 1/2/2023, 1:04 pm. Searched around the likely places but nothing found. With a terrain rating of 2, I didn’t think it would be further up in the ferns.
#4 for today while at Bribie. I was about to give up, when bam, there it is in front of me. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
After staring at "Tree Fishing 101" for a bit and bemoaning the continued absence of a suitable tool, we made our way past the Tree of Lost Soles to what would be our 4th and final cache in the Great Fathers Day Out. We spent quite a bit of time on this one but were determined that we were not going to log a second DNF in the one day! Eventually, I made the find. I had found all three of our finds today, leading nic579 to state that he was "letting" me make the finds as it was Father's Day. I thanked him for his boundless generosity. This cache is a fantastic cammo, and was definitely our favorite cache of the day. TFTC!
Just getting around to logging this one now. It has been on the list of “to log” for some time. Finally a day to catch up on some logs. I remember being here 3 times to find this one, it was fun and a good hide. Thanks for placing it here.
Still this one evades me, second time and i even had a clue, lol turns out i'm clueless
A dry spell in the weather this morning and we made the most of it having a drive down here to collect a few smileys and this is one we found. We parked quite close and headed down to GZ where the cache was spotted with the good coords. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for this one Simber15.
Today, it was an opportunity to visit Bribie Island, and then geocache from Sandstone Point to Beachmere. I started the morning with a kayak with Snickersallan in Bribie Island's westerly passage, where we visited the Avon wreck. I then took a walk around Godwin Beach Environmental Reserve conducting some tree fishing, before grabbing lunch and heading to Beachmere's event. It was a nice occasion to drive around the area, and then with remaining available time, it was a short visit nearby to Caboolture Airport, followed by North Harbour Heritage Park, completing *Morayfield Heritage* Adventure Lab. I ended the day attending the *6th Annual Yuletide on the Northside* event in Pine Rivers Park.
Having previously had a here on 25/07/2021, I was back in the area today, and an opportunity to avenge my DNF. I had wanted to also complete the nearby wading cache, but the tide was opposite to my previous visit, with it being high tide. It did make it a different experience with the sun fully out during the morning. I walked along the short in my wet booties, hence the tide didn't affect my walk at all, and it was actually nice to be dipping my feet in.
I arrived at GZ, recalling this scenery before, and got to work during my search. Thankfully, with the cache in-situ, it turned out to be a reasonably quick find, finding the cache in a spot that I searched last time, with another well constructed and camouflaged CO cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Simber15 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. A nice spot, and possibly a worthy location of an EarthCache nearby too!

After some tree fishing in the reserve, we ventured down to the beach to see if some wading was possible. As it was high tide, we opted out for this and decided on the safer beached option on the way back. The lost sole tree is quite the landmark hidden in the mangroves. We had no trouble reaching this newly replaced cache. It must be a very high tide to make it close to here....

Will be in the area next weekend (23/24 Oct) with a view to check and/or replace.
Couldn't find this one, despite a really good look around. An amazing little piece of beach and an awesome little walk - but we spent a lot of time looiking up, down, left, right near and far. Zeroed in on spots highlighted by recent finders/photos - no joy for us. Reckon this one needs a CO check.
No Luck here today.
i guess i will be back when a few more caches come out in this area.

Today, I explored Bribie Island centred around the *Christmas in July* lunch event. With a late morning home departure, I first visited Woorim and completed the *Sculpted Woorim* Adventure Lab. I then made my way to Bellara to join the event's Christmas festivities, before visiting a few geocaches around Bellara and Banksia Beach. I then had a 6 km walk along Red Beach, before joining a small group around Sandstone Beach with some tree fishing as the day's light faded.
Willis007 had mentioned about her previous DNF and opportunity to finally avenge it, and I quickly told her to not speak so soon! Well as it turned out, we had already jinxed ourselves, and after 20-25 min of searching here with five pairs of eyes (chamad, Nayfee, TripleTurmoil, Willis007, and me), this cache alluded us today. We had our suspicions to what it should have been, but alas, we had to leave empty handed. Thanks anyway Simber15 for the cache placement. At least there was some pretty cool beach geology close to here.

Today we are attempting to clean up a couple of previous DNF's, this little one was finally found and is in good condition. SL TFTC
This was a tough one. Check obvious spots and went back a second time and got it
In the area to do some tree fishing so we stopped off to grab this one.
We were on the wrong side of the path at first but after looking at Woodyrothwell’s pictures we moved to the other side and made a fairly quick find.
The camo was a lot smaller than we had expected.

Loving my early finishes from work on Fridays, I picked up Mr Curious Quest and we headed off to find a few caches. After finding a a few caches on Bribie Island and a couple of solved puzzles on the mainland, we headed to this cache. My caching buddy had previously found this cache and was surprised how much the area had changed since he was here. The cache was located and my name added to the log. TFTC
The group we found ourselves in started swelling in numbers and if any more joined we were going to need a CovidSafe plan. I was already to take on the role of CovidSafe marshal because the power just goes to my head like after a few wines.
We had a few people that had found the cache already but they had found it in different spots and were as reliable as a key witness that was sight-impaired and a 1000 miles away from the crime. You would think that with a large motley crew the cache stood little chance but some PAFs were still needed to the CO.
At each cache we were making new friends and desperately trying to remember real names and caching ones. Unfortunately I’ve already forgotten a few just as I can’t remember whether on on my third or seventh beer and whose shout it is. tftc

After the fab event this morning a group of us headed off to try and catch some tree fish. This was our second stop of the day & I'm glad we had lots of eyes looking as it was a well crafted cache with great camo. Such a beautiful area here as well.

After locking a did not find a few months ago on this one, It was time to head out here and give it another go. After a fun Geocaching meet and greet in Scarborough this morning, a few of us headed a little further north to collect a couple of the new ones that have been placed around here recently.
We made a beeline for this one. Even with a few sets of eyes looking, it still took us a while. It is such a crafty and nifty hide and I can see why we missed it last time.
Lovely natural camouflage and a sneaky hide!
Nice one Simber15.

Very interesting place we met another couple who were walking their dogs and Was went into his ambassador role and told them all about geocaching. They left saying they would check it out. We kept looking but no luck. Either it has been swept away with the weather lately or we were suffering cache blindness.
Out today to pick up some caches and this one was very sneaky ... but find it! Has earned a Favourite from me. Signed the log and put the cache back where found. TFTC
A day out with Tenkae, E_Smiley and patrol14 (Team PETS) doing several little birds geoart combined with some nearby traditional caches in this beautiful location. This was one of those searches that you have no idea what you are looking for and all I kept thinking of was a 'beached' whale. Blimey charlie I nearly discarded it but pleased to have had a second look, very clever hide. Well done CO, a favourite point from me.

Lovely day with Team PETS (Patrol14, E_Smiley, Tenkae and Snickersallan). After collecting the Little Bird GeoArt (well, almost all of it) we went for a stroll and collected more caches. The fun continued.
We signed as Team PETS or our caching names, depends on who has the pen. LOL
Thanks for the cache Simber15. We came at the right time so no wading for us, except for Tenkae, her c:geo was telling her to.
What a clever hide, Snickersallan nearly discarded it!

Enjoyed a quiet early morning walk to Ground Zero here through the reserve and the fabulous exposed geology further around the point.
The difficulty rating had me worried and my GPS had me looking in a mangrove tree, but after reading the previous logs and using the hint and cache title, I thought better of it, and very quickly had the cache in hand after spotting something different.
Always disappointed not to find any pumice when beach combing but that is just the Geologist in me! Did see some cuttlefish bone though, so the beach comber gene was somewhat soothed

Having just found a couple of other caches nearby we were in the mood for more in this lovely area. The tide was well out so we walked along the high tide line past the Tree of Lost Soles,
to GZ. Well, that took us a while to find. And we were the second visitors to sign the log today.
Favourite Point from us for the great hide and beaut location. Well done!

Out on the dark side today with Stairman1 chasing down a heap of caches that have popped up here recently. Loved this area, beautiful bushland and easy tracks, always love the seaside as I lived the other side of the river at Wynnum for many many years. Well this was a cracker. Stairman1 had already found it so I knew I was to get it one way or another. However he wasn't going to make it easy and stood by laughing at my ever increasing frustration. Actually made the find accidentally as I picked it up and was about to discard it when there it was. Well done Simber15.
First mistake approach from the wrong direction then sensibly decide to look for an alternate route.
What an amazing geological display of sedimentary and conglomerate rocks on the way to GZ.
My wife touched the cache without realizing it and carried on looking elsewhere.
Five minutes later I spotted something different and there it was.
A favourite of ours now.
Thanks Simber15

Out for the morning hunting the last of the Little Bird series today, and this was a bonus find along the way. The GPS wanted me in the mangroves bit I'm pleased that I didn't need to go in there in order to find the cache. After a bit of searching, I finally saw something a little different.
Very cleverly hidden, that's a sneaky one! Adding a fave point.

Wow that’s sneaky. Don’t think I would have found this except for the great hint we received. It was right in the zone I was concentrating on. Just very blind .

Nope... no luck for us today... but did appreciate the opportunity to visit the “ tree of lost soles”...
I had a little look for this yesterday but thinking I had to climb, I left it for today and teamed up with Dick of Dickbev and headed to GZ. We hunted for ages and thought it had gone until I dug around somewhere else and came up with the prize. Signed the log and returned to where it was supposed to be. Thanks Simber15. I joined up with Judy of Team Benders for a return visit to this cache and after a pleasant walk along the trail we arrived at GZ and started our search. We had a hint from a previous finder but still couldn't locate the cache so decided to contact Simber15 for some help - thanks for coming back to us so promptly Amber. With her help and photographs we realized it had gone MIA but luckily Judy found the little blighter hiding in the seaweed under our feet. Signed the log and returned as directed by the CO. Definitely deserves a favourite point for the run-around it gave us and the great container. TFTC Simber15
