Container has been given to a Cacher who is closer to GZ than me. Will be replaced very shortly.
This was a puzzle that Kolour had asked me to help her with before our planned trip to Sandstone Point, and I spent quite a lot of time on it. Most of the answers were fairly straight forward but one of them was really tough to figure out. When I finally cracked it I was so excited to put all the letters into the checker only to get a big red cross. I checked in with the CO who told me I had one of the titles wrong so I fixed that but still no luck and we still had no answer when we headed off for the day at Sandstone Point. After the CITO we joined up with Davidwazza who was also keen to find this one and we took along TripleTurmoil who had previously found this cache. When we got to the platform, we read about the offset and then we were confused weather to apply this to Davidwazza's coordinates or not as he had solved the puzzle sometime ago. With information gathered throughout the day, I tried once again to get the checker to confirm the co-ordinates but the code that people had successfully used in the past was no longer working. We decided to apply the offset and began searching a very overgrown garden nearby. The four of us looked around for some time without success and eventually we called a recent finder who confirmed we were in the right spot and tried to describe where to look. Again we searched without finding anything. In the end we were all completely frustrated with this puzzle and cache and decided to leave it be for now.
I had previously visited this location with a few others, a couple of years ago, but the platform was undergoing construction and the cache had been disabled, so it was my first time today to properly take a look at this one. I joined three others at this spot, which included [TripleTurmoil](https://coord.info/PRMPYK1) who had previously found this cache, but not the reincarnation that had been adjusted from its original location, so we had four pairs of eyes searching for the cache. After searching for 20-25 minutes and making a PAF to a previous finder, we had to declare the white flag and resulting in a DNF. Clearly, this cache's camouflage beat us today. Thanks anyway [Simber15](https://coord.info/PRQRYTE) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------After following the usual Saturday morning routine consisting of parkrun, Cottontail's gymnastics and library/playground visit with coffee, I was allowed to escape north to attend the [CITO in the Mangroves](https://coord.info/GCAJZV9) event scheduled for early afternoon at low tide. Having visited the area six months ago and getting stuck in the soft mud myself, I knew it would be another tough outing, but a chance to remove stubborn litter. I had a final walk around the Ningi's lake area before returning home in the late afternoon.
Brissy Cat and I came up for the CITO and came prepared, solving most of the Little Bird series. We had 18 finds and 9 DNFs with this being one of the latter. We made a PAF but still couldnt find it.
Hard to believe it’s been over 12 months since we were last here…
Today, after spending the day with Davinells, Beardman75, Karicka and I have finally turned towards home…
But Davinells and I have dragged the others here to finally try and finish off the Little Bird…
I even touched the hide… really… fondled it… ??
Thanks Simber15 ??

Spending the day with Davinells, Beardman75, Peppa, we had to do a couple more before we could head towards Brisbane again.

An awesome day of caching with Peppa, Beardman75 and karicka on and around Bribie Island. Having paddled for the morning at high tide we then took a drive along the beach.
Heading back towards Brisbane now but not before we pick up the last 2 little birds to finish off this geoart.
BM75 has been here before but couldn’t remember the hide, so we spread out and searched. A very well concealed hide. Nicely done Simber15 and thanks for a great geoart

Great hide. Very disappointed that we had to have the CO tell us how this was hidden because GeowifeE cracked the sayds cos she didn't trust the coords ( and me I guess). It's not always fun and games. Fave point given.
Couldn't resist coming back for a second look. Maybe if I clean up the bottles and rubbish, I'll get rewarded with a find and I did. Nice hide. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Simber15. All good with this puzzle and cache. I did see a red little wren on my walk the other day.
Solved the puzzle and with added coords still missed it after looking high and low. Might need a hint for a micro. Thanks for the hunt
I had solved these puzzles quite some time ago, but never seem to have the time to head out to find them. A phone call from Mr CuriousQuest, saw me head up here today. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Yippee a day of work for me. I had one cache on my target list and few around Bribie Island to do.
On the list today was 4 Adventure Labs 5 traditional plus 2 mystery. The find count was 23.
I had a great day today.
Thank you CO for your caches.

A lovely walk through here with so much birdlife. They were in the element and letting everyone know. Followed a geotrail and found the cache shortly after. TFTC
I had to wait for two old guys to launch their kayaks and paddle away. Then I made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
Today we set off just before lunch to attempt those of the Little Bird Series we could manage after waiting for the morning showers to clear. We do not have our kayak with us, so the waterborn ones were beyond us.
What a hard day at the office. The puzzles themselves had been challenging in the lead up to this trip, but we found most of the hides just as challenging. Then throw in a few tree climbs and it was a tough day. Still we did quite well, but with lots of walking and searching we ended up very tired by the end of the day.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Simber15.

Nice hide - the right angle helped me spot it. Enjoyed the challenge of these puzzles. Tftc
Out for a day of caching with KerriMG and we decided to head north and turn some birdies into smilies.
I had a bit of trouble deciphering a few of these titles but got there in the end.
GZ was a lovely area, minus the large dead fish. Although at first we went to wrong coords. Then read that the location has been updated. Applied the offsets then moved there. After a few laps we finally made the find.

The stars have aligned for nikid1 & I to have the same day off so it was decided a trip to Ningi to catch some little birds was in order. I love this type of puzzle, some were quick solves whilst some took a little more contemplating. As we had solved this one quite a while ago we arrived at our GZ & after searching some obvious spots with no luck turned to the logs to discover the cache had been moved. After applying the offsets we moved to our new GZ & started to search. nikid1 found 2 fish discarded in the garden that lived up to the title of this cache. Lucky nikid1 was searching in places I'd already looked as I walked straight past this one.

GZ has been moved slightly and new hide style in line with D rating. Re-enter solution for updated Coords or use offset provided.
Today, I started out the day with a visit to Caboolture finding a cluster of geocaches around Central Lakes Park. Subsequently, the plan was a kayak paddle in Pumicestone Channel as per the organised event by Peppa and patrol14. We then used the occasion to find a few geocaches in the *Little Bird* series by kayak. After lunch, we then formed a small group to continue to find a few more *Little Bird* series geocaches by vehicle and walking, before we all had to rush home from taking a long day out.
Following the kayak flotilla event, Beardman75, Davinells, Peppa, and I formed a small group to chase on-land *Little Bird* series geocaches, taking Beardman75's vehicle. It was an efficient adventure as we parked where we could, and walked around the various lakes and paths, and I did enjoy the scenic views of the lakes. We soon arrived at GZ, and noted that the cache had been disabled with the structure getting works done. However, today it was open, so we walked out and we had a look around. As we weren't confident to where the cache should have been (and it sounds like from previous logs that it was a clever/sneaky hide), we decided to leave this cache to the CO to replace and reinstate. Thanks anyway Simber15 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

After our Pumicestone Passage Paddle, four of us continued on to cage as many little birds as we could… so after a food stop at Beefy’s we piled into one car…. With Beardman75 as dad, Davidwazza as mother and Davinells and I as the kids in the back we were off… I established the ground rules very quickly “no looking out my window!”
GZ is open again, but not knowing anything about the original hide we elected not to replace the container here…

Found while working on replacing the structure. Can the owner please disable untill work is complete and relocate cache.
GZ is undergoing enhancements and so container has been removed. Will relocate once able.
No access to this one as the deck is being repaired. The workers stated that it's unsafe to enter the deck area. This one needs a check by the CO.
Australia Day seemed like a good time for a return visit to this one after spending 45 minutes without any luck last time we were here. So armed with some information from a previous finder, we had a good idea where to look and that we needed a TOTT. Wow it was still a devious little so and so to retrieve and we would never have found it without help. Great to add our name to the log and returned as found. Definitely deserves a favourite point for the puzzle and difficult adventure in finding the cache. Now off to the Bribie Beach Stack in the pouring rain for a celebratory coffee and beer with our toastie. TFTC Simber15
This was a fun puzzle that stumped krcamber and I on a few movies, but we finally got there.
Today we visited GZ.
Oh. My. Goodness! Krcamber and I were here for almost an hour before we had our names on the log - yay for that!
The area is blocked off due to the deck being damaged, but there is a spot to get through, so we got through it
We searched and searched without luck, reading past logs and trying everything we could think of. Eventually we PAF’d and got a little guidance. Oh my! We’d had a little look there, but couldn’t see a thing. Ok - let’s try harder.
The next 20 minutes saw us poking around trying to spot the sneaky hide. Finally we saw it - oooh! Now how do we get it?! We fashioned a respectable TOTT from discarded items we found on the deck and after a lot of concentration, holding our tongues at the right angle, and a spot of luck, krcamber managed to jag the start of what we needed and pretty soon we finally made the grab - yessss!
With our names on the log, we needed sustenance quick smart, so it was off to the pub for a well earned steak sanga and a beer.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache, Simber15

Wow, this cache! We’ve had this puzzle solved for a while and as we were hunting field puzzles today, we wanted to give this one a crack. Arrived and headed towards GZ where we were greeted with a barricade due to damage to the deck. Hmmm, this won’t do….we need to get in there. There was a spot so we snuck through anyway and started our search. We searched and searched and searched and searched. We read the previous logs and searched some more. Finally with nothing going our way, we PAF for some assistance. Right ok, we’d looked there but sure let’s look again. Finally Swearahs eagle eyes spotted the cache and after some MacGyvering and lots and lots of perseverance, we had our names on the log! Yes!!
Now that was super tricky. I’ve no idea how the cache was placed there but I’m glad we found it anyway. Thanks for the puzzle and thanks for the cache!

Firstly I must say what an amazing cache hide here! The puzzle took a bit of Googling and we struggled with one of the movies but eventually we had a good set of coords. Arriving at GZ we found the structure was undergoing quite a lot of maintenance and as no one was around we did sneak in. The coords led us to a certain place which didn’t reveal the cache for us so we widened our search for a while and then went back to the first area and had an idea which was spot on! Fortunately for us we did have a tool in the car to assist with the retrieval. We signed the log and replaced the cache just how we found it and left feeling rather pleased with ourselves! Thank you Simber15 for this hide. A favourite from us.
This was our third visit in our attempt to locate this cache, after being reassured by the CO that we were in fact looking in the right area. Our persistence was rewarded by locating the cache container and being able to add our name to the log sheet. Thanks Simber15 for the puzzle and placing this cache.

Having passed through Ningi many a time over the years, I've never really stopped before. Today the plan is to check out this side of the passage. Solved the puzzles during last year's lockdown puzzle solving sessions and that has spread these little birdies all over the map - time to reign them in, with Crew153 along for the extra set of eyes and company. Took two goes to find this one. Gave the palce a thorough going over the first time but came up ... well, like a dodo! Whilst elsewhere we took a phone call from someone who had been here already and got a hint (well, we had tried that idea, but anyways). We decided to drop past on our way out again and with a tool this time snagged the blighter, and a log was revealed. That's cool.
Thanks Simber15 for entertaining me at this location.

A great mates day out with Pprime, to clear a few of the caches in the Ningi area.
This one had us stumped. A muggle using the area to meditate did not help with the searching. In the end we made a PAF call and found that we had not searched a particular spot hard enough.

This morning it was triple turmoil, Nayfee and myself on a clean-up mission of the area. We were working our way to a lunchtime event on Bribie Island. With a few birds to collect and a few others as we passed by, we had plenty to get before the event. It was a fun morning and a successful round up of new and old active caches.
Our next targets were the bird series of caches and I still had half of them to collect, so it was onto a little run. I had solved these over a period of time and with the event nearing it was a mad dash to finish off all that I required. These were fun to collect and most were easy to find, a couple took a little extra time and a couple were sneaky hides, then there were the ones we suffered from cache blindness, lol.
I enjoyed collecting these today, thank you for the time in placing these and constructing the puzzles. We signed the logs on all and replaced as found.

Today I had the pleasure to join Chamad, TripleTurmoil and later on Willis007 for a day of caching. Our initial target for the day was the land based Bird caches while also grabbing several other caches on our travels. We then moved on to Bribie Island to attend an event to have a brief break from caching duties and mingle amongst fellow cachers, luckily we dressed for the weather because that bitterly cold wind would rip straight through you, brrr!
After the event we decided to stay put on Bribie Island to grab the remaining caches that we missed on our last visit, I think we’ll need a 4x4 for the remaining ones however.
Thank you for showing us around these wonderful locations, we had an absolute blast.
Apologies for the generic log.

Many, many moons ago, or however brown eyes are measured these days, I was lucky enough to be paddling with a group of geocachers chasing the birds. After the paddle we stopped by this cache as it was their last one unfound. Being part of the group my name was placed in the log but I wanted to come back and find it legitimately with Mrs Woodyrothwell. She loves all things devious and now I know why she accepted my wedding proposal.
So we came back only to DNF the cache and I knew exactly where the it was. Instead of digging up the hide we dug up a couple of metres of electrical cable.
Today we once again couldn’t see anything but trusted the cache was there. We dug around for a bit and things didn’t seem to have a rosey outcome until I heard my wife shriek. She had either seen a toad, spider, cockroach or had found the cache. tftc

This cache is indeed a clever hide, not something you see everyday. It is great to have a cache hide that makes you think 'where can it be'. Is it up there, out there, you walk back and forth but we can tell you the co-ords are spot on. SL TFTC
Main structure damaged by recent weather events and under repair. Unable to access GZ. Need to check back in a few weeks.
Unfound since December (4 months and with multiple DNFs).
Previous finders confirm this is missing.
A little CO TLC might be warranted here to prevent future seekers disappointment.

3 months with 3 DNFs. Will go and check once Mega is over and lockdowns lifted. This is a difficult hide and some DNFs are expected.
Thinking today was going to be a quiet, relaxed one I was sitting back with a coffee and enjoying the refreshing smell of petrichor that often accompanies the rain and a cooling breeze.
You know that fresh, invigorating smell that reminds you that you are indeed still alive!
It was almost 10.00 a.m. when Mrs VC chirped 'Do you want to head towards Bribie and do a little bird watching?' and suddenly relaxation flew out the door!
Having watched ALL of these movies we were in a great position for an easy puzzle solve.
Once at GZ it was a slightly different matter though.
I think we spent almost as much time searching as the collective sreening time of ALL the puzzle answers combined.
Expecting this to be a tricky find we launched into it without a second thought.
Poked, prodded, lifted, scooped, stretched all to no avail.
We even had the help of a young local lad who had come along to fish awhile until he saw the crazy people on the jetty/pontoon/whatever this structure is called.
Such a nice spot & such a shame it is becoming so obviously neglected regarding it's maintenance.
After selling our souls to the devil & still having no luck we resorted to reading logs and such ... seriously!
It appears this one may have been missing since as far back as 3 months ago? [?]
DEAD AS A DODO!
NOOOOO!
Our second DNF today (& both possibly MISSING?).
Perhaps a heads up from the CO would be helpful here!

At the end of November I was at GZ with a group of cachers that had come up busted on their original search. I was able to join them armed when they had some intel on board and my name even went into the log book. I didn’t claim the find that day because I wanted to bring my wife back to see a tricky hide and also to see her flounder around. After watching some enjoyful floundering, I directed her to the cache, only it wasn’t there. She dug in and instead of extracting a cache, dug out a metre of some power cord. I don’t know where the cord goes but it wasn’t attached to a cache. Seeing we hope to be back tracking down Little Birds in the coming weeks hopefully we can right the ship. Thanks anyway
Whilst out tree fishing today I came to the realisation that I had missed logging this one way back on our trip in 2020!! Whoops.
Tricky tricky, it took a long time for the cache to click here but eventually we had success TFTC
Reading cache details, and subsequent planning, is for people who like finding caches. Me, I like to go with the flow. I regretted that lackadaisical approach today :p

Last cache found to finish the geo-art and my last cache of the day!! This was rectifying an issue when we last visited and couldn't scrounge up a decent TOTT. But came prepared this time!!
So after finishing off the water borne caches via yak transport, and on the way to the pub for lunch, stopped by this location for a quick retrieval. Thanks for the series Simber15 and a FP to add to the total.

We returned today with TeamJLBL and with great coords and us all thinking along the same lines we spotted the cache then it was a matter of getting an aid to help us retrieve the cache. Fav point thanks for the great hide.
A day out with Tenkae, E_Smiley and patrol14 to try and find as many little birds as we could. Such a beautiful location to cache around where we actually did see a lot of birdlife in our travels. There were a few tricky hides but perseverance paid off and we managed to find all the ones we looked for. Loved solving the puzzles and of course a few PAFS were needed to save the day. Had fun solving these Little Bird GeoArt puzzles ages ago. Some with help and some without. Hatched a military precision attack with the Goldy Girls (Tenkae, Snickersallan and me) and invited Patrol14 to make up Team PETS. Finding the caches was such an adventure.
We signed as Team PETS and sometimes our individual caching names depending on our mood and space in the log.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Simber15. Enjoyed the hunt. Kids were in the area busy looking for eels and catching little prawns for fun. Distracting muggles was part of team work while Snickersallan stealthily retrieved and signed.

Bribie Island assault... headed this way from the goldy to pick up this new series. Signing as PETS. Thanks for this great series

Awesome hide. Glad we had some appropriate tool to help. What a beautiful spot. ️
Spotted by the eagled eyed BigRed02 and fortunately we had a tool with us that did the trick.

Out on the dark side today with Stairman1 chasing down a heap of caches that have popped up here recently. Loved this area, beautiful bushland and easy tracks, always love the seaside as I lived the other side of the river at Wynnum for many many years. Forgive the generic logs as I have to admit as I sit here trying to remember which one was which. But found and all in good order. I'll add that we were impressed with the accurate co-ordinates on all your caches. Well done. This one is a cracker, I'm impressed with Stairman1 for spotting this one quite quickly and I was lucky enough to have the right tool to retrieve. All good here and we both felt this one deserves a favourite point.
Found with trickyt. Love your work.
Beautiful place here Have one of my favourite points.

Wondering what to do today, we decided to pick up a few of the new Geo art near Bribie, had solved these little birdies some time ago, but just had not had a chance to go get em. Well today is the day, and was a nice day to boot.
What a cracker of a cache, I think we accidently dropped a FP here.

Super sneaky, loved it. Yes tool required to retrieve TGG was key on this find with her ingenuity on utilising something’s found earlier as a tool
Looked for a couple of minutes when M65 suggested a spot. A cursory look showed nothing but a better look a few minutes later and there it was. We had picked up a perfect tool on the trail earlier so we were set. This is the most devious perfect hide ever. Loved it. Fave point from me. TFTH
My muggle friend Emma and I decided it was such a lovely day for a drive/walk here. I have been solving these puzzles with my geo work friend on our lunch breaks and we have thourougly enjoyed them. Emma and I were here for around 20 minutes and I kept saying we need to give up but she wanted to keep trying. Finally we moved on and it was so lucky we had bumped into domsky and that I mentioned that we couldn't find it. I asked them to let me know if they had any luck when they tried. We were on our way home when they messaged me they were having No luck but had a hint so as we were only 3 minutes away we popped in. With the new hint we still had no luck and then one last hint (Thank You simber15) it was Emma who spotted something that was not the cache and when I looked to see what she saw I saw something else and it was the cache. We were so happy. Now to figure out how to retrieve this cache and sign the log. It was domsky who figured this out. Great team work here. Have to give this FP FOR all the fun. Thankyou for all the fun puzzles and creative hides. Will be back to find more soon
Another fun puzzle in this series. We had a great day out exploring the area and visiting some locations we know nothing about. At each of the locations we visited, the birdcalls were beautiful and the mangroves paperbarks and nearby trees and water very peaceful. At GZ, we searched for an age before we finally found this one. A small hint was helpful, and for the second time in one day we again bumped into Que Sera. With four sets of eyes are now examining every possible hiding place, we finally got lucky. A small TOTT helped in its retrieval.
Wow! That was indeed a sneaky and very clever hide and I don’t think it’s likely to be muggled even though it is in a very public place.
Thanks Simber15
A favourite added for all the laughs we had at GZ and for the fun we’ve had solving the puzzles. There are still many more to work out!

#Milestone find #9000 #
Out to find more solved birdies on a brisk winter's morning. On my first visit I was pleased the area was deserted so I could have a good look in peace. Despite a reasonable search I didn't turn up anything, so I headed off to find some other birdies which were waiting for me.
After finding all the others, I returned for another look. There really weren't too many spots for something to hide, and I didn't see any climbing or scuba attributes, do I refocussed on another area and bingo! Saw a hint of something, and there it was.
Ooh that is evil. And sneaky. And devious. Perfect!
Glad to have this one found and even happier for it to be a milestone find. Adding a favourite point for the experience

This was an enjoyable way to spend a winter Sunday afternoon with wombles, such a lovely place for some caches.
We had stopped here earlier but with muggles feeding the ducks we decided to try again on the way back to the car. Off we went and found another cache close by. On our return we were happy to find no muggles but instead the COs. Lovely to meet you all
This certainly is a very sneaky cache!!!
Well placed! Our last **FTF** for the day.
Thanks for the smiley Simber15

Wow! We didn’t even know this place was here! So many nice pathways, playgrounds and lots of birds!
We were surprised all these caches haven’t been Found before now.
This one is a tricky hide, I’ve not seen one like this recently.
What a beautiful place to finish our afternoon escape.
