### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there wesfab,

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.

You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days so others know exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**

#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers, so without your note on the cache page telling them what the situation is, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and, when the listing is next checked, all will be fine for a little bit longer. But be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit this page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks so as to keep everyone up to speed with what is happening.

- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)

Thanks for your cooperation,

Bunjil

Can CO please still check this cache. I checked three times before logging DNF and most recent finder found this in second find since started caching after many other DNFs. Would appreciate confirmation of its status. Thanks wesfab.

Found in Jan 2021. Thank you

No sign of cache, likely missing. CO could you please check.

22-Mar-21
A quick lunch break cache outing whilst in the area.
Remarkably muggle free today, so was able to have a pretty comprehensive search.
Lots of good hidey holes, but no cache.
After a number of DNFs on an easy find, I'm inclined to think this one has washed away with the ebb tide.
Perhaps the CO could check this one out?

Searched a bit at Gz but there were too many muggles around . Will try again sometime.

Fortunately a nice quick find before the rain started .. a group of muggles having lunch within view of GZ retired to a nearby gazebo when the weather started to look dodgy .. this gave me the opportunity to search unhindered .. fortunately I started close to the correct place.. thanks wesfab for placing and maintaining the cache

This was our last one for the day. We arrived to find a lot of kids in the playground with seemingly little or no supervision so this could have been a lot trickier. OHC didn't take long to make the find. We were able to sign the cache and return it without any problems.

Another that was placed just before lockdown #2. It’s been taunting me every day as I walk/ride past.
Finally, today I was able to turn it into a smiley.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, wesfab

Good hiding spot. Took me a little while as there were kids in the play ground watching me and had to wait for them to leave.

23-Nov-20
Quick find on Saturday evening. Walked from home down to the new donut shop, ate some, found a cache, walked it off! Thanks for the little adventure.

21-Nov-20
Tested out the new donut shop nearby. After consuming about 20,000 calories, burned 50 off searching for this one. A few potential spots but eventually found the right one. TFTC

18-Nov-20
Spent about 20 minutes looking under and around every rock in the area, however, could not find it. Thought I found the perfect spot where there were shrubs hiding a little dug out hole between two rocks, but was sad to find nothing there but some leaves.

09-Nov-20
Found while out caching with Echidna44. There were three schoolboys sitting just so close to the cache. We shooed them off and made the find.

09-Nov-20
Out with BoabTree, we did two lovely Adventure Lab Caches, then moved on to regular caching. We arrived at GZ to find some boys sitting nearby, but managed to find the cache without disturbing them.
Thanks wesfab.

Great find! The log book was pretty damaged as it looks like a snail was previously nibbling at it

I have noted that new log may be required, as stage 4 is still with us, and log is still some what usable, I will keep it open until I can attend in a couple weeks.
Thank you for your patience

Ducked out this afternoon to pickup a prescription (not covid related) and stopped by here on the way home to grab a cache. Jeez it's bloody cold, and wet.
A very quick find and back to the car. Cache was dry but I turfed out a few bugs thay were eating the log book.
Cache logged with sanitised hands.
**Thanks for placing this cache wesfab**

15-Aug-20
International Geocaching day, so I wanted to log a cache somewhere. I searched the map of the local area and found a few new hides within my 5 km radius of my home. Yeeha! Very close to the supermarket, so I was able to take Crusty K9 for a walk, do the shopping, and log the cache. Win, win, win.

Unfortunately, the lid was not attached properly to the container, and snails have been eating the log book. There is still sufficient room for many more logs though.
All stowed away nicely again.
Thanks for your work in providing us with the caches wesfab.

Left work early today to deal with a family issue. This popped up in my emails and I thought "why not" it was a good distraction from my problems. Easy find with kids playing happily nearby on the swing.
