Several years after a DNF after severe rains, a return while in area, and an easy find.TFTC
I really enjoyed your sticks and stones series. I love this kind of caching on quiet country roads. Thanks for a fun series!
GCLOGAN TripQuick find. I am travelling with GrimRaider to GCLogan and then to western NSW on our first trip with the van. Thanks for hiding this cache ALFIE77JC1
Please excuse the generic log for these. Completed the series with a few DNF's, and found that not all the hints were what we found, knowing this sooner may have negated some of our DNF's. The series is suffering from fatigue, some of the containers are broken or close to it and the logs are full, or have one or two slots left. NOTE for fellow cachers traveling in the area MAY24, the bridge on the series may still be closed, and you will need to do about a 15klm backtrack to get to the other side of the bridge.Total Caches Found 16092TFTC ALFIE77JC1
Reperio 16:42Day 1 of our tour of Tamworth caching trip, and Master Vitruvius and I left Orange and headed towards Tamworth for a few days to visit friends and tackle the large number of caches that have been placed since we were last here some five years ago. Our goal for today was to work through the Somerton Safari series and then on to the Sticks and Stones series. Had great fun finding this one.Gratias ALFIE77JC1As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
Find # 10878Looking at my stats I have a personal goal to meet before year end and its not an altogether small one. BUT when Im on a mission anything could happen. Christmas holidays and Im making the epic road trip from Canberra to Brisbane. Did a bit of research for some power trail options along the way and found a couple that would help boost my tally. This was one of them. Slight detour, but so long as I achieve my goal its all worth it Now just fingers crossed there arent too many DNFs or that put me off. Overnight planned in Tamworth which is about halfway and should be where I need to be by Christmas Eve.Day 2 - Quick easy find at Sticks and Stones A to S Brown's Spring here today so I can be on my way. Thanks so much for the many caches ALFIE77JC1 and of course for giving me a reason and incentive to get out here, and to experience this part of the world in a different light

Day 2 of our weekend Tamworth/Coonabarabran roadtrip.
Today we’re out grabbing some caches on the way to Coonabarabran and doing some power-trailing on the way back. Quick find here, spotted from the roadside, TNLN SL.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache ALFIE77JC1!

We’re out in the Tamworth and Coonabarabran areas this weekend chasing a few targets, while trying to maintain our DT average! Nice weather for caching….

Travelling and caching with RoddyC to Canberra & Bathurst before returning home.
That was a very unpleasant experience even with gaiters on.
Nice quick find on the trail.

Third day of our five day journey from Bathurst to home in QLD.
Two nights in Tamworth, so today's plan is the series out from and around Attungs, as well as a few in town.
Wifey said it was a very unpleasant cache. Huh!
Log signed and cache replaced as found at 1:56 PM on January 11, 2023. TFTC, ALFIE77JC1

Some repairs and a new log and baggie. Thanks for the caches in rhis gorgeous trail. ALFIE all good here
Today might be a great day for a lot of things but geono. finding caches isn't one of them. Third DNF.
Luverly caching weather today
The sunny, humid weather has brought a profusion of itchy grass and prickles out along the roadsides
The thousands of bush flies were also adding to the joys of caching

Out for a drive in the country on a sunny day with geocaches Nice to have If riding shotgun and the chat was entertaining as we stumbled from cache to cache. Logged 40 finds and a couple of DNFs. ‘Tho the car developed a whining noise somewhere around the 20 or so mark A highlight was the fizzy cola by the river on a rest stop. Prickles in the socks not so good.
A quick find here

second dnf in a row, can see that there has been a flood thru here recently which may have moved cache. Previous finder noted that cache was wet, again a check by the CO would be a good idea, will return once confirmed still there. Tftc
Hi there ALFIE77JC1.
We found your cache **"SnS A-S Brown's Spring"** today.
Today we headed out from Tamworth to attempt the "Sticks & Stones" series, and of course to log any other cache we passed along our journey. Today we found 46 caches and DNF'd 1
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches where the GPS said we should be looking, some we had to widen our search area though [:(!].
**Cache Condition:** The cache was soaked, we spent some time drying it out, but it still needs some "Owner TLC".
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Today we headed out towards Attunga, a couple of caches on the road before starting the Sticks & Stones A-S trail
The first part on the road was nicely sealed but then became very narrow once it turned gravel.
We enjoyed being out in the country & really appreciated the air condition car.
Thankyou ALFIE77JC1 for placing this cache.

We headed out from camp this morning to do this Sticks and Stones series along with ilook4geo.
This run is easier if you bring tweezers, as they are a help with quite a lot of the logs.
We found each one we looked for, although a couple had wrong hints and some co-ords were off the mark.
Thanks go to ALFIE77JC1 for the effort put into creating so many of the caches here.

Made this find while doing a triangular route this morning with goingplaces2. Found all the caches we had on the list for today. TFTC.
A quick park and grab as we try to make a dent in these. A little slippery but ok. TNLN TFTC

Thanks ALFIE77JC1.
A quick and easy find, I note you reference the Road Less Traveled series in your cache descriptions, might take you a long time to get down that way with this sort of spacing, but did enjoy your series.
thanks for all these sticks and stones series of caches really like some of the innovative ideas that you have done , didnt like the screws in the tree would advise if you could change these the geocaching community would appreciate it , most coords are good
but on the whole I really enjoyed your caches dropped a couple of trackables along the way that needs some time in some new caches
we need to come back to this area and spend some more time but had to head west to Gilgandra thanks again

Heck! That was a bit tricky - wasn't expecting such a hide on something so flimsy.
Thanks ALFIE77JC1.
Feedback: The container has become unstuck from its camo.
