26 September 2024 4:57pmOne of the kids found this one quite quickly after looking at the hint. The GPS coords were pointing me in a different spot, but it wasn't too far off.TFTC.
TFTC. We found it pretty quickly. By the looks of the photos I'm not sure if it is still in the right location (behind instead of in front where most photos were)
We found it!! It was a great little treasure box to find with lots of lovely gifts inside. We put back exactly where we found it. Thanks for the great cache!!
Looked at gz and around and no luck. Then looked at the hint and still no luck. Saw size of container in others logs and there was no sign of it. Could be a case of cache blindness, but CO, may want to double check.
Geoteen did the hunting on this one.Lots of muggles driving past on this Sunday afternoon. Thanks Poppa Smurf!TFTC!
Of course I made this one harder than it needed to be.. Although a benefit of this is that I was rewarded the gorgeous sent of the flowers planted here (I think Trailing Shrubverbena?). Your absolutely correct.. such a busy spot. Thanks for bringing me here.. what a beautiful park!#797
After visiting Castle Hill Reserve today, Kolour and I continued to drive around the Ipswich area collecting a few more caches. I felt a bit strange walking around in the garden here but thankfully Kolour made the find pretty quickly. We were both impressed with the novel container as we both have memories of playing with smurf toys in the past. Thanks for the great cache penders88!
A morning out caching with Brissy Cat in the Ipswich area, mostly driving with some small walks. Once on the right side of the wall, it didnt take too long to find the cute cache. It was damp inside the container, so we placed the logsheet in a plastic bag after signing. Our family are Smurf fans so I enjoyed this one. Tftc
Thanks for the find. It currently only has a pencil in it. It also was not in its previous correct place has been moved back there now.
On a mission to Plug the Gaps in my 366 calendar and finding this cache has plugged a necessary gap that needed filling. Was in the area and needed a find for today. A quick check of Cachly showed this cache was still findable, unlike a few others in the series, so made a quick detour to the GZ. Quick find on arrival. Log wet, but still sign-able. Log wet TFTC. TNLN. SL. TBs Prado Owl , The Great Leap Forward Geocoin , Rawhide , Surrey Travel Tag, Sheeps on the Journey (Orange) and Kiwi Bird visited.Find # 1991.
This was a fun cache to find and was a real adventure spent awhile looking but once we found it we where all very thrilled thanks for the little smurf suprise
Thank you for that activity I'll hope to do more. It was pretty well hidden and something nice to find, enjoy people still trying to find it
Flowy undergrowth is very thin with the lack of rain and it was easy to see. TFTC
A beautiful Saturday morning with no plans ... awesome! Geodoggo in the car we headed to Ipswich and beyond to collect some caches for a new challenge.
A quick find here.
Thanks penders88 for the cache.

First time finding 'treasure' with the kids. We didn't have a pen on us but we will next time. Good hiding spot not too hard to find.
Me and my friend were trying this for the first time and competing to see who could get it first I tackled him off the ledge
TFTC! Out for a Sunday drive and pulled up nearby to find there was a cache a short distance walk away.
TFTC super cool. Had to wait for a break in the traffic for my grab and sign hahaha
Headed out in the geo-car for a few caches today.
Decided to hit a few around Ipswich. Quick find.

Caching today with RoddyC and Hatzofff to turn some coloured spots into Smilies. It was drizzling rain when we were here but lucky it was a quick find, left our signatures before replacing as found. TFTC
Caching today on a maintenance run with RoddyC imbunda. Always seems to be a dot out there that needs a smile.
This one was much easier than his brother.

With hatzofff and imbunda doing a maintenance run on some of our caches, and a few others unfound in the area.
Good.

While over here from NZ visiting family thought I would go for a little nosey about the areas my children live.
While my grandbabies were at school, I thought I would introduce my muggle daughter to the world of caching and then my grandchildren.
The foliage certainly provided an adequate hiding place for the little blue figure, but we soon had the cache in hand. TFTC

Day 1 of 3 of our trip from Caboolture South to Armidale.
We’ve discussed doing this trip for some time now and it’s a wonderful feeling to be doing it. I love the drive and I get to enjoy the experience with my beautiful fiancé.
Our plan for this trip was to find as many caches as possible and try and grab a cache in ever LGA on the way down to break our previous record, which is 5, and I think we smashed that!
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and enjoyed stopping off at each and every location along the way. It truely is a beautiful, scenic drive.
Thanks goes to the CO for placing this cache for us to enjoy.
Thanks for bringing us here.

A quick find trying to time my visits to the front of the sign between passing traffic. Thanks for the cache
Today, a late plan was made to hike to Flinders Peak, and walk a circuit via Mount Blaine. Flinders Peak was an enjoyable and well-trodden track up, however, Mount Blaine was a steep rock scramble and a morale challenge. I then took the opportunity to visit various geocaches in the Ipswich area, which included South Ripley, Swanbank, Flinders View, Eastern Heights, and finally Brassall. Highlights included the Box Flat Memorial, Limestone Park, and Haig Street Quarry Bush Reserve.
I managed to get a car park nearby and then crossed the road to have a search around Fairview Rise. This cache probably took longer to find than it should have, as the coordinates felt a little out, and I was looking for something a little smaller and more camouflaged, but as I moved to where the cache was hidden, it was a quick find there. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks penders88 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I’m sure I’ve been to this park before for another cache.
Very nice work on the container! All good here so TFTC.
