Filling n time waiting for an event to start I saw that this cache was available so made thee search and came up with a quick find. Thank you robotpickle for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.
Teamed up with Snickersallan, Granny Smith 1947 and chamad on the hunt for the Multis Jigsaws, Wherigos and whatever took our fancy whilst out on our travels within the Logan shire. What a fantastic selection of caches and containers on offer for GC LOGAN event. It was great to be with my usual buddies, delightful to meet up with new ones and strengthening our ties. Thanks so much to GC Logan team for arranging events and placing caches for our enjoyment.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 151 - Logan Day 4. GCLOGAN event day 3. Another day starting with early morning canoeing. Another large group formed up at the start and got ready to go at the turn of the tide. The weather was very different to yesterday, dry, but a but of wind for added entertainment. The Armada got underway once the tide had turned and there was a great time paddling down the river, collecting the ten caches along the way without any issues. Pack up and transport back to the start was next and then there was a bit of free time until the lunch time event and the afternoon activity of way too many multi's. The Midday flash mob was an interesting effort and we got to hear about another caching opportunity next year in Caloundra. Then it was time for the multi's. Our group of Kitty Katch, Smitten Granny and albida33 managed nine, and at times we were caching alongside several different tea,s. It was a great way to meet new people. There are lots more. From here it was back to the caravan for a very wet evening and a light meal inside t escape the downpour of rain. More paddling tomorrow and a few other activities as well. With time before lunch we did a few caches around Eagleby. There were several possibilities where this one may have been put after the fix, but eagle eyes Kitty Katch soon saw it and we were signing the log. Thanks for the cache robotpickle49292.15 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2013 Movember Blue A#267**Albida**
After this morning's paddle I spent the day with Albida33 and Kittykatch hunting out more caches until we needed to be at the Flash mob event. This was one that we found. Thanks to robotpickle for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment. SL.
GCLOGAN TripQuick find with Smittengranny and Albida after our paddle.I am travelling with GrimRaider to GCLogan and then to western NSW on our first trip with the van. Thanks for hiding this cache robotpickle
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Robot Pickle [^]
Messaged 5 days ago about whether cache was still active, didnt hear back from cache creator. Been here twice now for considerable time, looking high and low along the fence lines and in trees, nothing found. If it is here still maybe dont mark it as an easy cache. Cheers!
Another caching day in Logan. Beautiful weather...beat the rainy week aheadAs we were signing log for this one a yappy little dog on the other side of a nearby fence just wouldnt let up.Thanks robotpickle.
Visiting from NZ and using the opportunity to find enough caches to earn the Cosmic souvenir. This one was a nice quick find in the hint location. TFTC
With family from Melbourne staying down the coast it was an early morning start to grab a few caches before catching up to watch the footy. It was a pretty quiet run down the coast in the van and parked up at the recommended location. Made my way quickly to ground zero and soon located the cache. Extracted the log and made my mark. Replaced the cache safely and then off on the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for everyones enjoyment.Cheers
Didnt enjoy this one, dosent feel right snooping around peoples fence lines. Too close to homes.

Bit of a tricky one. Lucky the owner saw us struggling and offered a much needed clue. Cheers mate!!!
** I will get a new, more discreet container here very shortly, they keep going missing **
I don't know if it's been removed or not but I don't feel comfortable snooping around near someone's property.
No luck. Spent a lot of time looking at the boundary and up high and feeling around but to no avail
Awesome little hide! Was about to hit the hint button when we were intercepted by an excited little boi who helped us find it!
Good on him for participating in this fun community adventure!
I'll definitely be making my own hides in this area and coming back here!

A quick find on a quiet path to the side of a residential park.
Got lucky and spotted this one in about 30 seconds. Hopefully nobody spotted me.

Thankfully the street was quiet at this hour so we managed to pull and find it without being noticed. Replacing was a slightly different story though. It slipped from my geodaughters fingers and landed with a loud bang when she was replacing it. Quick! Get in the car, lets go before the cops get here.
Thanks again robopickle

I like the new hide!!!! I did look at it when I first arrived and ignored it but deafsanta soon had it in his hand! TFTC
This was our first hunt and we found it after a good 20 mins! Great camouflage!
Today, the plan was the attendance of two CITOs on the southern side of Brisbane, which included a tree planting in Eagleby, and a litter clean-up in Ormiston. Between the CITOs, I took a stop a few stops around Carbrook and Mount Cotton, which involved the targeting of oldie geocaches. A brief stop in Bayview Conservation Park also allowed me to avenge a couple of DNFs. After the second CITO, I took the drive back home and made a few last stops along the way.
Whilst in the vicinity attending a CITO, I thought I would detour past this cache in the hopes of converting this frown to a smile. I pulled up with the area clear, and then I was initially searching the other side of the fence in the gaps, before then discovering the cache on the other fence. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks robotpickle for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

It was nice to meet the CO and get a good hint here. Love the camo. Thanks for the cache
Apologies for the inconvenience guys, I have been meaning to get around to replacing this one but it kept slipping my mind. New cache placed this afternoon
This afternoon, I took a drive south to coincide with the monthly *Logan Geocaching Catch Up* event, and to take the opportunity to make a stop at IKEA Slacks Creek. Unfortunately IKEA was closed due to floods clean-up, so I continued south and made a few stops around Eagleby and Beenleigh, enjoying a few walks along the paths and tracks whilst avoiding impacted areas from the recent rains/floods. I then rounded the evening with a dinner and catch-up in Beenleigh.
I had a good look around this little footpath shortcut, in particular around all the nooks and crannies of the fencing, but alas, no luck here. I did wonder if it could be missing from all the recent rains and floods around here? I will watch and see how this cache goes; Thanks anyway robotpickle for the cache placement.

Came at night after floods couldn't find it will have to try again through day shortly.
On my way to an evening event that I enjoy going to, I found myself a little early. With time to kill, I decided to grab a few caches in this area.
This one I give a favourite point to. My journey took me down a street where kids and a dad were playing. I turned around and parked right next to GZ. I walked over looked around and just as I spotted the cache a very excited little boy came over and asked, Are you a geocacher? He was so excited and helped me make the grab, awesome. He then explained it was his cache and that he loved caching, the excitement was inspiring, it made me happy. I then got to meet the dad and who then apologised for his eagerness. Take it while you can because very soon the kids grow up and they don’t want to come with you, lol.
The cache is very nicely done, hidden in plain sight yet only noticeable to a cacher. Great to see this one maintained and fun. Thank you again you guys made my trip out here today.

We were looking, then a little, little boy came running over. We were ready to let him run past and he says "I'll show you where my cache is!". We would not have found it quickly without his help! Nice to meet you little robot pickle.
