While I’m thankful that the local council looks after this park so well, it does mean this cache goes missing every time they prune the trunk of the tree.
So I’ve decided to archive this one and will endeavour to hide a new one elsewhere in the park soon (unless someone beats me to it, which would also be fine)
Thanks to everyone who found this little cache ??

Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the mid-day sun but Geocachers go out any time as long as they feel safe. I know we are stupid but when you are trying to achieve a personal challenge and are not putting yourself in danger, there is no wrong time to cache. Nana nel and I are working to build our finds on every day of the 366 day calendar to 10 and today we needed 5 caches.
Attended the cache site.

A cute little cache. Picked up on the hint at GZ and had CIH very quickly despite the picnicking muggles all over. I haven’t seen a nice little watertight container like this before- seems it is perfectly designed for geocaching. TFTC
quick and easy find, my 3rd for today while i explore petersham after moving here a week ago. i'm very short, about 5 foot, and it was quite a reach for me, so probably not the best option for geokids
#449 Quick find, cache in great condition. Just decided to have a look whilst on a bike ride in area I don’t usually travel in. Didn’t have a pen to sign the log but took a photo for proof. Tftc
This was a good one, not too hard. Did walk in circles for quite a bit tho
Oooft, walked around few times didn't spot anything, but then realised there is something that shouldn't be there, and it was right behind it!
Tftc!

We first visited here in September 2020 when the container had been muggled. It was quickly replaced but we have not been as quick to return. Today it fell within our COVID exercise perimeter. A very cute little container. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek
This was our first find. It was fun. Thanks so much for the adventure. Love
Quickly spotted it as we approached GZ. Signed and left it in the same spot, but with a tad more concealment. TFTC!
Streak Day #2871 - Over this way with Dave8153 for a cache of the day, spotted after a couple of mins. TFTC

Hi Kate, DNF your Geocache hopefully it’s just our eyes and it’s not missing will try again with more light.
1st find of the day locally geocaching with Aussiewolves on a beautiful Sunday in Sydney. TFTC
#2377 First of five finds with Rieka on a very warm Sunday morning. Found after a short search. Liked the cute container TFTC
Found this little fellow some time ago. Returned today with a pen. Lovely park. TFTC
Danube Cruise and I spent quite a bit of time rummaging around with our torches before we found this one. Nice little hiding spot - TFTC!
Did a few laps in the dark and bit by a few mozzies, but raspberryfiend didn't take long to find it. Signed but decided not to stay around the park as it was night time. TFTC!
A quick and easy find to close out my geo calendar, no more white squares. This was not going to be the cache that I was going to find today but a drop off In the area put me close by and it paid off.
Cache and log in good condition.
Tftc and merry Christmas.

Not quite the same palms Florida is known for but a glimpse of colour made for an easy find.
A quick diversion on our way to dinner brought Hawko2017 and I past this lovely little park.
I recall attempting a cache in this park a couple of years back, with no luck.
Fortunately today we had considerably more success, and fairly quickly too.

Picking up some Reno supplies in the area this morning, arrived early, parked up and had a nice stroll to fine this new cache. Lovely park, my kids would love the playground. Thanks for placing this cache Kate_h.
#7343 (2 of 2 today)
Headed out early afternoon for a few (relatively) new caches in the inner west. Was familiar with the area around my first target, having gone to school nearby. At the second cache I had déjà vu - I think I've been here for a previous cache but I'm not 100% sure.
What I am sure about is that I found both caches I went for.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Plenty of parking here - and I was right in front of a taxi that looked like it hadn't gone anywhere for a while.
The park was empty, but a couple was approaching as I did and I waited for them to continue through. Then I assumed GZ and found a spot totally devoid of caches. Checking the map I relocated to where the cache actually was for a quick find.
Went to a bench to complete signing duties, then back for the replace just as a family arrived from the far side of the park, heading for the play equipment. Phew! Just made it.
Time to head home.

kate_h I found your cache Classic Florida Hide on 11/10/20, 3:35 pm. This is my find 2749 and find # 8 today. Did the dance around the tree until I spotted it. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
With very light traffic in this part of Sydney today I had time to detour away from the main drag to this cache.
I've been here previously and spent about 20 minutes circling the tree. Got home to log my DNF and saw that the CO had posted the cache was missing that day so I didn't bother.
Today the area was deserted except for some muggles on the very very far side of the park.
I had also contacted a previous finder for a bit of a heads up so I wouldn't spend too much time here as I've been having lots of hayfever issues this spring and the fibre from these trees is horrific. No problems of course. The cache was nicely in place where it hadn't been last time. Signed the log, rehid then went back to the geomobile to work out the best way across town.
