A nicely made cache that took a bit to find but found it nicely hidden, good to see the new log book. Travelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache

Cache found after a short search. Thanks for the fun.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A day out biking and caching the Mullum Mullum Trail. Again a brief pause while muggles passed, before I spotted something likely, and retrieved the clever little cache. All in good dry condition. TFTC Franklj A favourite for this neat construction and placement

I've had my eye on this series of caches by the Mullum Mullum Creek for a *very* long time. Partly for the purposes of enticing me out for a walk (I tend to want to have a purpose when walking for exercise) and partly because I hadn't found a cache placed in September 2020.Anyone living in Melbourne at the time would remember why there are relatively few caches placed during that month and year. So after having driven up here and creating a park nearby given the Cronos Crt. car park was full at the time I walked down to this cache and began the search. Now, I hadn't found a physical cache for over two months so after having searched the obvious places I began to wonder whether I was simply out of practise and would have to come back to this one. After some more searching I shifted thought patterns and immediately came up with the likely target. After first attempting to gain possession I discounted it and moved elsewhere in my search. I then came back to it and applied a little more force and felt movement. A cute cache and worth a FP for the creativity.

Fantastic hide. Lucky I have spotted one of these before. Had to go back to the car for the pen as my geocaching buddy didnt bring the bag of stuff.

This was tricky.

What a hidden gem! That was fun, took us a while but we eventually found it !! Thanks guys

Find #14009

Another one used to maintain the July streak. This one did not take too long although I did drop and nearly lose it in the long grass!!

Massive thanks go to Franklj for placing this one.

17-Jul-23
A lovely day for a bit of caching today .. looks like a part of the cache has come adrift. Have advised the CO. Thanks Franklj for placing the cache.. I look forward to searching for more caches in the area

08-Jul-23
Searched under bridge and on side of path but no luck. Any clues?

01-Jul-23
TFTC nice day find. Hubby got it straight away. Dodging bike riders along here today

18-May-23
Needed a cache today to keep our streak alive… due to nine hour time differences between the M’s we nearly dropped off. However a search lead us to this cache with easy parking and a good strike rate, which was needed at 7:20pm on a Winter night. Thanks for placing the cache for us to turn into a smiley.

06-May-23
Out today to push my score closer to the next milestone. The weather wasn't great, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I quickly spotted something that didn't look quite right, and there was the cache.

Many thanks to Franklj for the cache.

05-May-23
This one was a bit hard for us to get out but we eventually got it!! A nice hide, thanks!! ️

25-Apr-23
My last find for today. I wasn't sure which side of the path to look, so I checked both sides. Found it once I noticed something unusual.

23-Apr-23
I went out for a scoot along the Mullum Mullum this afternoon, after I decided I was sick of always riding past these caches and not having turned them into smiley faces. This was the last little one I got today and it was great to stop and enjoy the creek for a change.

TFTC!!

Second time around found it quickly. The best clue was if you've been caching for a while you'll know what you're looking for. Thanks and giddy up

A free day in Melbourne with a car, and so I have headed out to Manningham LGA to see what I could find. This is one of six caches I logged along the Mullum Mullum Trail, a great little power trail that was a lucky discovery for me today.

I parked my car in Conos Court. There is a drinking fountain nearby that I was glad of upon my return from the furthest cache.

A neat hide here.

Thanks for the cache and the series Franklj.

A quick find for a nice walk in the afternoon.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.

Making my way home after ticking off my multi for the day, I stopped by this cache to add a trad to the collection.

My first few locations didn’t prove fruitful so I continued the search. Like others I then discovered something out of place and sure enough it produced a well hidden cache. Clever and worth a favourite point.

Thanks Franklj for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Returning to geocaching after a long break. Reading the "sneaky hide" comments might have to come back and look again once the rust has been shaken off a bit more. Plenty of others in the area to practice on

Find # 1049

Belter of a day today, and ideal weather. Something for which The physics Teacher and I are very unaccustomed! We decided today was a great opportunity to get out and get some much needed time to chat and get outside together. A great day, and one made even better by this trail of caches.

It's quite a while since I found this, and so I'm logging very late. The joys of caching during lockdown are now sort of limited to just actually creating the online logs of things you found ages ago, and are now finally logging online

Thanks to Franklj for the cache and the fun.

13-Jun-21
Catching up on some long overdue logs. Found while on a walk with Cambendy. TFTC.

13-Jun-21
Found it! Right! So, this took a bit of an effort. Spent far too long obsessively looking on the wrong thing! We decided to walk on and for a fresh look on the way back. We bumped into the previous finders who excitedly told us of their find here. So, armed with and extra we we looked again with no luck. We gave up and walked in. We then came across the two other Cachers who were just about to start looking for this one. So, I went back for a final look and there it was. Very nice to meet all the Cachers along the trail today and put faces to names. TFTC didn’t sign the log as it has pretty much disintegrated due to too much moisture!

13-Jun-21
Very tough find by my daughter!
