I found all the spots and what a lovely walk around filling in time before my flight, unfortunately I'm clueless as to what to do with them, but thanks for the history lesson
Due to temporary fencing restricting access to some of the stages whilst demolition works are undertaken, I have updated the description to provide the answers to these stages inaccesible stages. GZ should still be accessible.
That was a really good cache! The spot was obvious but I still needed help from the owner even if I already was looking at the place. So Look carefully!

First, a bit of a conference trip to the Viruses of Microbes Cairns 2024 in the Convention center and then a vacation in North QLD brought us to this geocache. I was here 16 years ago and now we are following in our footsteps. At that time, however, I still knew about geocaching only theoretically.Dky za zakladatelsk poin a prci s tm spojenou. 8 July 2024 4:59pmAfter a message to the CO and a pointer as to where my error was (I really need to learn to read information properly), I adjusted my final coords and had a more suitable location. After work near the esplanade today I really wanted to grab this before I went home so I walked down this way to see what I could find.Once I was finally in the right area, -to my surprise- this cache accidentally got knocked loose.I signed the log and replaced it where it was found. Thanks for the cache, the puzzle and the help.
7 July - no idea what time, I forgot to check it.My colleague had the car this morning and while we had a few hours of sunshine. I wandered around here and gathered the clues. Then I headed to where I calculated GZ to be...I looked around a bit but couldn't find anything useful and it seemed slightly further out than where I would place a final in a multi, so wasn't sure what I was missing.Ahh well, not today.
After the conference finished early this afternoon, I happily found myself accompanied on a geocaching mission with a friend/kindred spirit. We headed in this direction, found the clues as a team and had an absolute ball sharing stories and nerdy quirks. A quick find, sign and replace and we were off, chatting all the way back to the hotels. TFTC dat87
This is a great cache to stroll around the wharf area. It was very interesting toreador all the informational signs. It took us a minute to grab the cache. If the hint is correct where we found the container was for a giant. The log was also full. We didnt bring any replacements with us.
Right next to our ships berth, so just had to be done. Some very interesting info and photos. Collected all the numbers and then a short walk to GZ for a quick find. The security lady was curious but not really interested. SL. TFTC.
The DownUnder 2024 team is travelling in Australia and New Zealand. We also used our stopover in Doha to cache. We met interesting places, friendly people and we had great experiences. Some caches led us to beautiful areas, historical events or hotspots on site. I try to publish my own pictures in the log as far as possible. Sometimes I also stand in logbooks with my nickname, often I have renounced to save space. We agreed that only one desired answer will be sent at a time. I hope all owners also think rationally. Thanks for all the experiences.
We are also part of the large tour group from Germany and passed this cache today. We are from Ismaning/Bavaria. We had a great time in Australia. Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun.Today was travel day and we went from Melbourne to Cairns.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndyThis log entry is translated with the help of Google.

Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????. Sixth day in Australia ??. This is my first visit to this extraordinary continent and the fulfillment of a long-cherished dream. In the past, it always failed due to the lack of a travel companion. Now I had the chance to join a large group of mainly German geocachers and I was delighted to take it. We arrive in Cairns at lunchtime. What do we do with the interrupted day? We use it for a ride on the Skyrail ?? over the rainforest to Kuranda. The trip was well worth it. A great experience. Afterwards, there was still time to wander around the city a bit. A multi is always welcome, especially when the stations are so close together. The information was noted down and entered into the formula. It took us a moment to discover the little box at the end. Now our names are in the logbook. Thank you for placing & taking care ??.Sechster Tag in Australien ??.

I was honestly not looking forward to this one given all the letters and umbers, but just took 10 min from start to finish. What a great multi. Checked on the cache today. Its definitely in the right spot where it should be. There are also still some spaces on the log for signing. Well replace the log soon after it has been found a few more times. Happy caching!
That was fun! I've never done one like that. There were muggles all about. Plenty asked if I was ok, cuz I looked a bit odd. I finally found it but it wasn't safe for me to expose it and sign the log so I put it straight back where it lives to be found another day. Thanks so much for the cache!
Mr Tardis was in Cairns for work, and gathered the required information. Unfortunately there was a big ship docked and security guards around GZ.
I came back the next day after the ship had departed and found the cache in the likely place.

We left the marina this morning & anchored out in Trinity Inlet as strong wind warning keeping us in Cairns for a bit longer. We're on our Qld coast sailing trip up from Moreton Bay - this is our 4th month living on our catamaran, Montage, for our gap year.
We brought the dinghy in to walk around the city a bit more. We wandered around the wharves on our way to the movies. An abundance of interesting information. Great idea for a multi.
After finding all the required information, I sat down to figure out the co-ordinates then we headed off the gz not too far away. Deserted around here today as no ships in.
A bit higher than our heads but we could reach easily. Well hidden.

Touring Australia and New Zealand with my family. Which includes BeesKnees34, SOB_4M, AlexBN16 and 1MitchG6. We have been enjoying the beautiful landscape and visiting some awesome locations.
Stopping along the way to grab some cool caches. We targeted high favourite, old caches, different cache types and some other caches along our routes.

Log sheet was full, but I was able to use my initials B4M. Gets a fav.

Like this kind of informative caches, gets fp.
We usually select our caches, use them as a kind of tourist guide. We visited Cairns during our vacation in Australia together with TurboPar.

Thanks dat87. Enjoyed this multi and historical element. Up from GC for a few days. Love caching in a different area. Got a little confused with coordinates but got there in the end with a little help from CO. Had to go back later in the day in the dark once the cruise ship had gone due a security person close to cache.
Spent a couple minutes tracking down the answers while trying to dodge the massive amount of cruise ship zombies around the area.
Got my answers sorted and then wandered to the final.
All good with the cache.
Thanks!

10:29 am - Find #3,899 - In town for a conference and the bet thing to do before the start, to fight the jet lag and to get to know the town, of course, is geocaching. The Cairns Free Wifi is much appreciated, especially for the lab caches. Miles ahead of Germany, but who isn't . This was a nice little tour, all questions could be answered without too much trouble and everything is fine with the cache and the logbook.
Thanks to dat87 for the interesting history lesson, the cache and it's maintenance.
Cheers,

Our Garmin was thrown way off course by the railway tracks, but we wandered around and came upon the answers and our co-ordinates were spot on for the cache itself. Thanks for a pleasant hour figuring out the puzzle and the well hidden little cache. TFTC
This one was found on the 1st of October but I didn’t log it at the time so when I finally remembered it I was a little hesitant to log as I thought if I didn’t log it, maybe I never signed it. I did see that Bike4Me, a Canadian cacher who held an event in Townsville had recently signed it and stated that the log was full, so I contacted dat87 and asked if they were going to replace the log to check to see if my name was actually in it. Dave graciously did so and it turns out that it was. I remembered doing the first half after parking near the wharves and then walking north from my parking spot and kept going to boardwalk’s artwork lab and bonus before continuing with this
Was an interesting trip. Checked out a flash 360 Moderna Spider, an EC130 Eurocopter and a muppet that damaged 2 vehicles in a carpark in trying to park, one opposite his park and one beside his park. He left a note on a 4wd that ended up without damage as the driver crunched his own lightbar on the towball of the 4wd before reversing into a sedan. I ended up transferring the note left for the 4wd to the sedan as it had noticable damage and listed his rego in case he left dodgy details.
I then returned and picked up the last waypoints, photographed an art installation before making my way to the sign off. Thanks dat87 for an interesting multi. Great first effort.

This is really a story in three parts.
This multi got on my radar very quickly when I found out that it was remarkably close to our accommodation and was determined to complete it before we left.
Waypoints 3-6 were dealt with when we discovered that an Indonesian vessel was moored at the wharves and allowing people to board and take a look around.
After we did so, I snapped a few pictures of the information signs as we walked past and extracted the relevant numbers later on.
With a bit of spare time prior to hosting my event yesterday, I decided to stop by the first two waypoints to grab the numbers from there as well as a few Adventure Lab waypoints.
Unfortunately, this coincided with the arrival of an absolutely enormous cruise ship, and I soon discovered that the coordinates I'd calculated for gz had an abundance of muggles present.
And so this brings us to today.
After having had some lovely afternoon chips at the brewery, I noted the lack of muggles around gz and wandered over to make a very quick find in the first spot checked.
The logbook was finally signed and I could finally put a smiley on the map for this interesting little multi too!
Thanks to dat87 for placing this multi here!
