While waiting for the nearby dairy to open we strolled over to gz and made a quick find. All is nice and dry here. Thank you.
A return visit to Kenilworth as I ran out of time yesterday. Dang my shoelaces! They needed a lot of adjusting today. The cache was quickly located and the log signed before returning everything as found. TFTC
Was silver not black according to the hint. Took a little while to find but was in a very interesting spot. Be sure to get some cheese while here!!
Picked up while camping in the area. The coordinates make it seem on the other side of the fence but no, you can access from the road.
Going to stay at Kenilworth camp tomorrow so checking out caches ahead of time
Found with HelonJoG on a day trip from Hervey Bay for Eumundi markets and Kennilworth donuts.
Once I was on the right side of fence, it was an easy find. All good with the cache. Thanks for giving us more reason to.stop here. As if CHEESE wasn't enough.
Last time I was here there was no fence. Located cache. Tiny bit of log. Replaced log and baggie. Signed the log and returned to where I found it and disguised. Thanks spiderwebbs4. All good with this cache.
Found it after some donuts and coffee up the road.Cache needs a log, very wet and paper unreadable. Looks like a crumpled old flower petal.TFTC
After popping in and buying cheese searched and found the cache. The log was that wet its mushyunfortunately didnt have a replacement. TFTC
Went for a quick find while trying to digest one of those massive donuts! Great location but log is wet and mouldy so unable to sign. Thanks!
Whilst doing the AL in town I grabbed this one along the way. Spotted it pretty much instantly. Managed to make my mark on the wet logsheet and hide with some more natural cover before continuing my adventure around town. Thanks for the cache spiderwebbs4!
In Mapleton house sitting a cranky old cat til new years eve. Today decided to drive circuit from Mapleton, Montville, Maleny, Kenilworth and back to Mapeton. We scored 1 part AdLab in Montville and 5 parts in Kenilworth. 6 finds, some of which were solved puzzles, and 2 DNFsSearched in the obvious spot, Moved along by 1 metre each side, then some more. Had a fair idea of how it might be hidden, but just not able to see it. PAF who quickly put me in the right spot (thanks for that)Blessed are caches and the previous cachers. Thanks spiderwebbs4
Finished the AL nearby, got an ice cream , then checked to see if any trads were around. Yes one nearby, now which side of the fence. Checked around, then the rain started, we went back to the car. Read a few logs and then went for a drive . On our back we checked again, wazza9 soon had CIH, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to the.
Hi there spiderwebbs4, we found your cache Blessed are the Cheesemakers today. Today is Day Two of our lets introduce some newbies to our hobby. Were camping at Kenilworth Showground and had planned to find as many non premium caches as we could over the next few days, but now weve switched over to premium" as well. Found it, silver and black. Hes very hard to find. Were thoroughly enjoying our jaunt around the countryside today, & so far weve found quite a variety of container types, sizes and ratings. Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
Alyce and I decided to take the kiddies to Kenilworth to get them out the house for a few hours and to grab a doughnut, how could we refuse and who doesnt grab one while visiting town.Afterwards we made our way across the road to suss out this cache, unfortunately it was missing in the past so were hoping its there this time.Once at GZ we noticed a fence which seems to be a new addition and were unsure which side we needed to be on but after a brief search the cache was in hand and our name was on the log. Thanks for bringing us here.#4179 - TFTC
Enjoyed quiche, salad and an iced coffee ... wrote some postcards ... bought some cheese. Went for a walk up and down the main street ... but seems the whole town except the pub shuts down 3:00pm on a Friday arvo.Came back once all the Muggles had gone and made the find for my first smiley in Kenilworth.TNLNSL.TFTC ...
My sister was doing the Blackall100 50km fun run through the National Park and we were driving my mum to the checkpoints to meet her. Maybe fun is not the word of choice when it comes to running up and down hills for 50 kilometres. Lets just say my sister was doing a crazy nut bag run.We took the opportunity to drive into Kenilworth to grab some lunch, or more importantly some cheese. My mum bought me a coffee at the dairy and whilst she waited Mrs Woodyrothwell and I went out to grab the hide.We grabbed the cache, some coffees and some cheese. My mym bought a lemon myrtle cheese which was one of the most outrageous things I have ever tasted. Lets just say the rest of that cheese is still in our fridge and will stay there until it get mouldy enough to throw out. tftc
Found it whilst out for a Sunday drive with Mrs wooness no7 for today TFTC Team wooness NSW
Easy little park and grab. The cache is in good condition, although the log is a little damp. Signed and replaced. Thanks Spiderwebs4 for placing the cache.
Thanks we found it sorry we had no pen.. but it is here still safe and sound ️
Muggles, muggles, muggles! It really cheesed me off. Nothing for it, but to wait, so milked it for what it was Worth and ordered lunch and then Moooved to the donut shop until the crowd had gone. Then much shoe lace tying to recover the cache. TFTC!
Cache replaced & back in action. Thanks to Davidwazza helping out while in the area. ️️️
After Duppers Magic Maker event, I planned to go up the bluff with those who were going. I use the “planned” word very loosely as I didn’t plan very well. After a few slips and slides due to wearing the wrong shoes, I decided to bail. Now since I had car pooled here with Duppers, I was stuck in the area for the day. I headed back to the car to cache locally while I wait, and I knew it was going to be a long wait.
When I got back to the car parking area, Davidwazza was just pulling out as he wasn’t going up this time around. He asked if I wanted to come along with him so I jumped at the chance. It’s always better to cache with friends. (Thanks David.)
Replaced and marked as found

Noting this disabled geocache and the list of DNFs, I brought with me a few spares as a just-in-case, and we firstly had a search around. The coordinates looked to have been pointing to the nearby tree, but that now appears to be behind a fence, so from reviewing past logs and photos, I deduced that the property has now added a larger fence in addition to their smaller fence closer to the building, and during this process, the tree has been trimmed, and cache likely found and removed.
I messaged the CO to seek permission for replacing the geocache, and after reviewing possible options, we settled on a small bison tethered to the bottom of the fence, and it has been tucked away in the lawn below. I'm hoping that this will now last, and still acknowledges the nearby dairy/cheesemaker establishment. Thanks spiderwebbs4 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Today, a planned *Maker Magic* event on the top of Kenilworth Bluff had me make a trip north. When I completed this hike one year ago, I hadn't prepared for the walk to take the full day, and missed out checking other vicinity highlights. Following the event, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I took a drive north-west through Brooloo and Imbil, and we scoped out the Mary Valley Rail Trail, and Imbil State Forest to the south-west. Those 4WD tracks didn't pose any concerns and were in good condition.
For lunch, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I returned to Kenilworth where we had lunch at the infamous bakery, and we ran into [Peppa](https://coord.info/PRAXNZZ) who had returned from the hike. We completed the finding of geocaches around town, and I then took off towards Mapleton, stopping off at Mapleton Falls National Park for a short walk. As time continued to get away from me, I was able to make a few final stops in Nambour, and then took the drive home fighting congestion on the M1 highway.
I also commenced/completed two Adventure Labs:
• [Not Too Shabby.](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/ead46a00-3de3-48be-97ed-2033deff279b); and
• [A wander around Kenilworth](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/703debde-f896-446d-ad5a-748aee0abcf7).

On a trip out to the dinosaur regions of western Queensland, geocaching with newbie ScruffyMuffy.
After a long Search with ScryffyMuffy and TrekkingTrev, we gave up.
There has been some landscaping and tree pruning in recent times.

GPS is drunk today but even after checking every tree and spoilers in the logs, this one has beaten us
Searched high, low, pulled and twisted, but still couldn't find. Referred to previous pictures. Seems as if I was not barking up the wrong tree, but just couldn't find it today.
Unless it has been moved, I found the line that it was attached to but no cache itself
TFTC. Found by Mrs Burnout 55. Not hanging around though! Spotted a lot lower down than expected. Fishing line still attached but very shiny so put it back where we found it.
