Staying in Landsborough and today we are taking a drive out to Kenilworth vis Eumundi and stopping for a few caches along the way. Lovely scenery and quite a busy road. Thanks to the COs for the placements.
Out and about caching today, while visiting the area for 2 days. Arrived at GZ and after a short search, cache was found and log signed. TFTC
On Holidays At Caloundra last day cruising around Caching with Hatzofff RoddyC and Mumma Bear And The Cubs (MummaBear66, Princess1005, DFC_JLK2019, T1ny96 and Captain Moneky96) so we decided to target some oldies aswell as many other caches as we can. Wasn't till we found this one again that i realised i had forgotten to log it when i originally found it a few weeks before.TFTC spiderwebbs4

I headed to Kenilworth today for a little exportation. This was a very pleasant way to be introduced to Kenilworth with a find to add to the days numbers. The log was signed and the cache returned as found before heading into Kenilworth proper. TFTC
Pulled up here and headed to GZ. Soon had the cache in hand. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks spiderwebbs4. All good with this cache.

After my jaunt up the road, I grabbed this one as I left Kenilworth. A quick and easy find, I grabbed it just before it started pouring! Thanks for the cache spiderwebbs4!
In Mapleton house sitting a cranky old cat til new years eve. Today decided to drive circuit from Mapleton, Montville, Maleny, Kenilworth and back to Mapeton. We scored 1 part AdLab in Montville and 5 parts in Kenilworth. 6 finds, some of which were solved puzzles, and 2 DNFsQuickly found in appropriate place, as we entered Hinka Booma in search of a toilet and coffeeThanks spiderwebbs4

After Duppers Magic Maker event, I planned to go up the bluff with those who were going. I use the “planned” word very loosely as I didn’t plan very well. After a few slips and slides due to wearing the wrong shoes, I decided to bail. Now since I had car pooled here with Duppers, I was stuck in the area for the day. I headed back to the car to cache locally while I wait, and I knew it was going to be a long wait.
When I got back to the car parking area, Davidwazza was just pulling out as he wasn’t going up this time around. He asked if I wanted to come along with him so I jumped at the chance. It’s always better to cache with friends. (Thanks David.)

There was a policeman pulling people over as drivers exited/entered the town, so we thought it would be annoying for us to drive to this location, and have him see us as we made both drives. However after lunch, it looked like he had moved on, and so no suspicions were alerted.
After pulling over at GZ, we made the quick cache find despite its evil size, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks spiderwebbs4 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Today, a planned *Maker Magic* event on the top of Kenilworth Bluff had me make a trip north. When I completed this hike one year ago, I hadn't prepared for the walk to take the full day, and missed out checking other vicinity highlights. Following the event, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I took a drive north-west through Brooloo and Imbil, and we scoped out the Mary Valley Rail Trail, and Imbil State Forest to the south-west. Those 4WD tracks didn't pose any concerns and were in good condition.
For lunch, [shazzar66](https://coord.info/PRJ8B31) and I returned to Kenilworth where we had lunch at the infamous bakery, and we ran into [Peppa](https://coord.info/PRAXNZZ) who had returned from the hike. We completed the finding of geocaches around town, and I then took off towards Mapleton, stopping off at Mapleton Falls National Park for a short walk. As time continued to get away from me, I was able to make a few final stops in Nambour, and then took the drive home fighting congestion on the M1 highway.
I also commenced/completed two Adventure Labs:

For the second week in a row I jumped in the Geo van and headed north for a few days of caching. I spent Friday night staying near the glass house mountains and worked my way north parking at Mapleton for a few reds and lovely steak at the public house, before kicking off the day with a few traditionals
After making my way to ground zero I quickly spied the hide, which I soon extracted and made my mark on the log. The cache was quickly replaced into its hides hole and I was soon on my way.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.

Two TASSIES out and about for a 10 week stint, including the Gympie Muster, so after a mammoth migration from Kilkivan, here we are in Imbil for three nights. Rain is here now, but the big tarp is up over our camp and we are snug enough. Another good ‘un which allows for a quick grab without alarming anyone. Last one for today spiderwebbs4. Heading back to camp now in steady rain.
Found with goldielover and team herbz. Heading home after a nice couple of days.

Thanks for the cache spiderwebbs4This morning, I met up with Richmond Lad, to find a few caches in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. We stopped off to find this cache. After an unsuccessful search, we read a few logs. It seems this cache is in need of maintenance as per the previous log.
This one is now missing. I dropped the lid in the long grass and in spite of two of us searching for it, it could not be found. I will replace it shortly, and just to cap my day off my car died later in the day and i had to get it towed home. i will replace it as soon as i can. Sorry

Completed with the group. Staying in the area for a few days. Thanks for showing us this area.
We are staying at Cooroy & did a day trip to Kenilworth & Mapleton. This was one of a few caches that we found. We enjoyed caching in the countryside.

After a long day doing adv labs we have now set up camp. Gwen (The X-Trailers ) and I walked around town admiring the murals and shops. We enjoyed the walk to this cache quickly located. Cache all ok. TFTC

After a very wet Easter weekend , finally the sun is back. So we took.our caravan for a couple of days' holiday in Kenilworth.
