Logs
Visiting the Adelaide region for a week from Port Macquarie. Today was a different kind of a day. The youngest Husky went off for a very long walk, meandering in and around the CBD area, targeting many caches and a lot of adventure lab checkpoints. Over 40,000 steps were walked in total, which worked out to be a smidge over 30kms. Meanwhile, the two elder Huskies opted for a more relaxing day to rest and recover, hanging close to base with a handful of finds in between some shopping and a cafe lunch. An incredibly productive and most importantly, fun caching day, which if including AL's in the total, made for our biggest day of finds ever. We are all thoroughly loving Adelaide.Second stop for the elder Huskies. They knew exactly what to look for based on the title and soon located it on the likely structureThanks for the cache
Found at 15:49 whilst geocycling in the area. Lots of traffic waiting right next to the cache to enter Tapleys Hill Rd. I'm sure glad I was travelling by bike instead of car.
nice quick find but signing the log was harder.Today out and about on 206 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
The log had fallen apart. Somehow the moisture had penetrative the cache. New cache and small log now in place. Thanks for writing small in the log
Very tiny we thought it wasnt going to be here when first came and its damaged and cant take it out of the objects the magnet was not working but and sneaky catch Very harf
Normally I'm a fairly positive sort of person but today was hit and miss with nearly as many DNFs as finds and nearly as much time stopped at traffic lights as moving. There were a couple of upsides though - finding this cache (luckily I had tweezers in the car) and discovering an ugg boot sale where I got a good deal on a pair just in time for winter. TFTC.
Found it! But the magnet has fallen off the clue! I tried to put it back to as close to where I found it
Found with Mogni. Found after i hosted the Pathway clean up CITO. Many targeting adventure labs but stamping any " normal " caches we passed. quick find. nice to see something that isn't a mint tin.
Out and about with sir_spectre grabbing a few caches as I target specific dates to make my calendar look more balanced. Thanks to KillBillAgain from mogni
Found while staying in Adelaide for The Great Leap Forward event. KillBillAgain, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
Found it while out walking. No pen or tweezers unfortunately so took a picture instead! TFTC
Good play on words. The log is now dry but the last few cm were ratty and fell off. I signed the centre of the log roll after a tweezers extraction.KillBillAgain, I found Usain today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!
I tried to find this cache but I ended up feeling like it has been pinched by a muggle or there needs to be a better hint
Found it with the help from my geomom and the log book needs to be replaced as it is soggy and I have hid it in a better spot than it was in before. happy finding
Knew what I was looking for was just a matter of spotting it. Didnt take too long.TFTC
Yes!! This cache didnt run away from me this time! I was nervous to attempt it given the previous DNFs, but also figured that it was already blue on my map, so whats the worst that could happen? I looked a fool dawdling along the side of a busy road but was coming up empty handed. I was about to log my second DNF when during a lull in traffic I thought Id just make sure that Id checked EVERYWHERE And huzzah! Beat you this time, Bolt.
Recent rains appear to have damaged the cache and saturated the log so I have replaced the cache. Please replace in the sheltered spot where the cache currently is sitting and don't forget your tweezers
A nice little hide. I still can’t get over how much traffic uses this road.
So many people running off to do and see things.

The cache is in a poor state. I have dried it and placed a temporary log book inside and will replace as soon as my order comes in. Thankyou to those who helpfully let me know the GC was in a bad way. KillBillAgain
Clocking up cache finds for the June Wheel of Challenges, plus getting my daily cache.
Logbook is completely damaged and unable to sign. No room to place a temporary log. As cachers cannot physically sign the logbook, proof of find image has been sent to the CO.

Easy enough find and I had the tweezers to get the log book out but it was wet. Unable to unroll and sign, so pic sent to CO as evidence of find. TFTC KillBillAgain

No joy for me today, but I note the CO has been passed and checked the cache after this DNF and it's still there. I'll have another go when next in Adelaide. [^]
In the airport area today to pick up Mrs Felix. . Managed a few caches & AL today.

We have looked for this cache on two previous occasions but without success. When we noticed that the cache has been replaced and reported as being found today, we tried for a third time. This time we were fortunate and can change the DNF into a Smilie. The cache and contents were in good condition. However we were very surprised to see that the logbook was blank when unrolled - did the other cacher who logged a Found today find something else or...? Thanks KillBillAgain for replacing the cache.
Sorry folks. The geocache could not be found for the second time in a short while. Please be careful when replacing this into position. It should be placed out of harms way. I have placed a new cache into position. Please put the cache back where you find it. Thankyou, KillBillAgain
I'm familiar with these but did not seem to be at GZ or nearby? Might need to be checked...
Two if us searched for about 15 minutes, widening the search area up to 12m but with no joy. Thanks anyway.

Heading out to the Glenelg area in search of a couple of caches and an adventure lab. Despite the sunny afternoon, I had this whole area to myself; maybe the previous rain had put people off. Cache was found in a good condition in what was the obvious spot, log was signed, and I was on my way.
