Today teamdfl and I had a plan to climb up Tabletop and then take the walk along Road Reserve Trail, but sadly we were unable to access the carpark due to a landslide, so we made up Plan B...Followed by Plan C...And now we're up to Plan D This one came up on the radar and we both were hoping to see a Minion here, and the cache did not disappoint! Nicely done, so have a favourite point. I think teamdfl picked up a TB here. TFTC, FlutterBeryl.
Whacky Wednesday with IolantheK. Out this way chasing an AL, stopping as we feel fit. This needed a stop. Minions are Another favourite point for the collection. [^] Picked up a trackable to move it on.
Warwick to CliftonTime to leave & head a little way north. Stopped at Allora to do an AL on the way to our next stop. After lunch we toured the farming country side, the wattle along the side of the road looked amazing. We went to mnany interesting location & found some very good caches.Left a TB here. Cache container was full of swaps. Thanks FlutterBeryl for hiding this cache.
Found while on holidays in the area. Made some swaps, kids were very excited about this one! Very friendly dog came out to say hello.
Travelled up to Clifton via West Haldon and from there, out towards Leyburn to do some tree fishing caches. Then I travelled north towards Toowoomba to finish off some outstanding caches at Mount Peel Bushland Park.Quick find on my way to Leyburn. On a mission to Plug the Gaps in my 366 calendar and finding this cache has plugged a necessary gap that needed filling.TFTletterboxC. TNLN. SL. TBs Prado Owl ; The Great Leap Forward Geocoin ; Bee Croc ; Rawhide ; RobS72 2000 Finds GC ; Forest Hill Ear Tag ; and Kiwi Bird visited.Find # 2155.
Out and about this morning on another glorious day in South East Queensland. I have a few challenge caches on the radar at the moment so I headed into the Lockyer and Toowoomba regions to collect a few caches required to move me towards the tick of approval.Found a safe place to park the car and made my way swiftly to ground zero. Cache was located quickly and in good condition. Log extracted and moniker added.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache and making it available to be found.Cheers
Threw out some old swaps and refill with new swaps. Check for leaks, seems in good condition.
Driving home from TWB and detoured via Clifton to grab a few caches. Given the name of this cache, the GZ was a bit of a giveaway! TFTC!!
We are staying in our van at Nobby. Called into Clifton to have a look around town . We couldn't leave without checking the mailbox out .TFTC
We're traveling around the area playing tourist and finding some of the cache hides along the way. Saw the hiding spot on approach so it was a quick easy find.TFTC
We finished work early for Christmas and decided to take my darling wife for a drive to show her this cache. She is a massive fan of minions and so she loved this cache. TFTC
I've been here twice before but haven't yet logged it so today is the day! Stamped it with my groovy new stamp. Leaving it a favourite point.TFTC
Out with Muggle65 after a short steep walk up Wilson's Peak. Great letterbox. Thank you for the fun ??
After a walk up Wilson’s Peak, The Green Geckos & I saw an opportunity to collect a couple of different sized containers on a detour home. Having heard about this cache from the CO, I slowly recognised where we were. At the G Spot with a minion guardian . Nice hide..

**Found Saturday 22-July-2023 at 15:21 Smiley #2266**Wow, I have slowly just been finding caches, signing logs, logging drafts and simply forgetting about these and never actually logging them. My sincerest apologies to the relevant CO's, especially if I found issues with them and didn't do anything about them.Unfortunately my drafts were also designed to jog my memory about the cache to assist with the logging process. Doesn't work when some of them are over 2 years old. Here comes some generic comments. Once again, I apologise Good to meet the owner. Had a great chat, got some duck eggs, traded some sunflowers we had picked. Classic country interaction Awesome cache. Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache **FlutterbySquishy** Rogersclan13
Hi there FlutterBeryl, we found your cache Minion Madness today.
Day three touring out from Warwick. Previous days have seen some great geocaching, and today is looking to be the same if not better.
It was a real pleasure to meet the Geocacher owner today. We had a great conversation and thanks for the eggs. we also gave this a favourite point for the novelty value.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the countryside today, & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, sizes and ratings.
Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Good.

Ian & Penny

Spending some time in Warwick and visiting local areas combined with a lovely walk up Mt Mitchell.
Enjoyed venturing around this nice little town and marvelled at all the large crop fields.
Letterbox caches are always on my to-do list, especially ones that are very creative, just like this bright fellow, which didn't disappoint.
Thanks FlutterBeryl for placing this good fun hide IPS, a favourite point coming your way.

Well today was going to be a big day. I had planned to meet up with Willis007 and we were going to do some paddle caches before a CITO event. Then quickly after the Cito get away so as we had time to collect a few other target caches in the area and a few as we passed by. I still needed an adventure lab in there somewhere and a multi or a letterbox.
We are now working our way towards a particular cache and towards Toowoomba for an event. While we are in Clifton, it would be silly to leave a cache behind, so we grabbed this one to clean up the area, for now. This one was an easy find, we were greeted by the CO and meet the CO’S dog Bear. We signed the log and replaced as found and then continued on to the next one, thanks for the hide.

After a lovely morning paddling along the Condamine River and attending the CITO, chamad and I headed further afield to collect some caches in the area. We were welcomed by the lovely CO and her dog Bear.
Thanks FlutterbySquishy for the cache.

On route from Allora to Nobby, took a slight detour to check out this madness. Spotted the colourful minion from a fair distance away and parked close by to retrieve the goods. All good here and thanks for putting minions on the map FlutterbySquishy, a FP for your efforts.
Dropped a trackable here on our way through from Allora to Clifton.

Bear came out to oversee the log signing. We are staying in Clifton tonight and couldn’t resist a mailbox tftc
After an early start we were on the road from Killarney to perhaps Noddy via the Settlers and Cedar Route. Well it turned out that we were in Nobby before lunch so we continued North and ended up in Toowomba for the night. We found 9 caches today and that is a lot for us.
On our travels we see unique letterboxes and I now collect photos of them. Minion letterboxes are more common than you might think. 'Cow' letterboxes are probably the most common.
So when I saw there was a Minion Letterbox cache, I was very happy. The trip to this cache took us on raods we would never otherwise go on, so thankyou for bringing us here.
A Favourite from us for the cache and I loved the painted rock. We sometimes find them when we cache and they bring a smile to our faces.

With the public holiday today we travelled from Toowoomba to Bald Rock for some outdoor therapy. This was a fabulous walk!! I have been wanting to do this for a long, long time. We picked a stunning day for it. The weather was perfect. Spectacular scenery with all the boulder formations and the wildflowers were putting on a show. A picnic lunch at the picnic area before heading home grabbing a few caches along the way...this being one of them. TFTC FlutterbySquishy
Next, I came to this cache. As I got out of the geomobile, I was greated by a big dog. He watched as I approached the cache. Once he realised that I was there to find the cache, he came over to sniff me and then went to check out the geomobile. Then the CO came out. We had a lovely chat while I signed the log and patted the dog. No trackables to leave here as I had dropped them on my travels. The kind CO even gave me some fresh eggs to take on my way. TFTC ..... and also for the eggs.
Today we moved the caravan from Toowoomba to Clifton. Once all set up and lunch was done and dusted we hit the road to try our luck at some smilies. Popped into the butcher at Allora for some yumminess as recommended by other travellers.

Willpunkey, Scoob and I spent a couple of hours on Sunday afternoon caching around Cambooya. When i told the boys about this cache they were convinced we had to deviate further south to find this cache. the CO FlutterbySquishy was there to greet us. The cache was well stocked with swaps for Willpunkey who chose the crystal. I dropped 4 TBs and picked up two. Nice to meet you FlutterbySquishy and thanks for you generous cache FP for your hide.
Thanks for the great geokid friendly cache! Charlotte adored your special minion and we had lots of fun taking photos with our new minion friend! We left a trackable that has been travelling with us from Warwick and left a few items of SWAG plus a special Smokey Quartz crystal!
Last minute decision to take the run up to Clifton this afternoon. Had a swag of TBs to drop off at a specific location, so took time out to check out this cache and a few others on the way. Various dirt roads were avoided due to recent flooding, even a few tarred roads had to be either manouvered or backtracked..... What should have been a 30 minute return trip took us over two hours.
Called in to do the planned TB drop and met FlutterbySquishy in the meantime. Dropped off the 6 TBs who are in some sort of race. Took Kamp Koral TB in return - and two dozen eggs from the CO.
All our TBs visited, and we left a painted rock that we collected in Tenterfield last week. Thanks for the cache FlutterBy Squishy. Nice to meet you.

What type of bread of Minions like best? Gru-ten free.
What is Gru’s favourite type of steak? Filet Minion.
What do Minions call their Grandmas? Ba-Nanas.
What do Minion ghosts eat? Boo-nanas.
Oh there are so many more I could go on with... A mad dash stop at this fun cache filled with TB's and swag. TFTC

Minion is due for a yearly make over. Getting a repaint, new eye, and tidy up.
An entirely sleepless night last night resulted in me being rather bored and staring at various maps. I clocked Millmerran and pondered how I'd never been before. Hm, and only 2.5 hours from home. You know, I could do with a solo roadtrip adventure. I jumped in the shower, threw some essentials in the car and hit the road at 04:30 with my impromptu, minimalist plan.
I took the direct-est route out, via the Warrego, Toowoomba and the Gore. I visited Mount Basalt, then endeavoured to return home via Leyburn, Clifton, Heifer Creek and Gatton. This drive back east-wards had Google Maps taking me up various dirt roads. Which, unexpected, but none of them were any issue, even thought my car is designed for cruising Westfield carparks moreso.
Recent rain means the whole are is vibrantly green. And really, a few creeks are flooded and there's loads of puddles along the road. It makes for a magnificent sight, and much mud splashed across all the white panels. I slow up in Clifton and check the map. Ah, a letterbox not so far away. Ah yes, I promised myself I'd find that next opportunity I have. And that is today. Hooray; more unplanned stops!
Given the very drive-by nature of the geocache, I parked right alongside and made a quick grab. I thought I was doing a stealthy sign when a dog appeared, along with the CO. Oh, well hello there! Also, unexpected. But I do enjoy hearing about geocache adventures and possible future hides. Plus, many sniffs from the Bear-dog!
Eventually I felt the road home calling and with a few trackables dropped, geocache replaced I was off. I quite liked this bonus stop for the day! Thank you for the geocache and the chat too - appreciated. Thanks for the smiley, FlutterbySquishy
Oh, also. I lost my game. I have this game, where any day, if I see a minion, I lose the game. I always lose, but possibly because if I don't see a minion, I would win that day, but if I don't see a minion, I also don't think about the game at all. The confirmation bias is real. Thus ends my irrelevant rambling!

The things we do for geocaching, especially when trying to fulfill challenges.... I needed a letterbox cache in November, so on this rainy, bleak morning I headed out of town towards my closest, accessible letterbox.
At GZ the cache was quickly spotted and as I was signing the log the friendly CO came out and said hello. Had a lovely chat and I walked away with fresh eggs! Tftc FlutterbySquishy, leaving a FP

Out and about doing a caching run to and around Clifton, taking as many back roads as we can find. They say the shortest distance between A & B is via as many caches as you can propose.
Cute minion. Heard one speak on tv this morning. Very colourful and great accuracy with the voice, so today, had to find the Letter box cache as well. Moved along a TB - will take it to South Wales in Australia next month.
Fave point awarded for the ingenuity of using up a few old spare tyres, and also for todays fun

A beautiful sunny day that was begging us to come out and play, so a-caching we will go!
Nothing better than fresh air & sunshine on a country drive to raise the spirits.
Haha ... on arrival at the coordinates it was more than obvious where the cache would be.
Parking the Geo-Beast almost within arms reach Mrs VC got out to do the honours but had 3 concerns ...
1. The potential for spider cache guardians.
2. The potential for slithery snake cache guardians.
3. The potential for getting caught as we were right at someone's driveway & in full view of their house! LOL ...
I admonished her with "Get on with it you sook!" &, after extracting the cache, making our mark & replacing everything as found, she was soon back in the Geo-Beast, job done, giving me evil looks.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
Added a TB for future finders to move along.
The TB is Party Girl, a bottle opener, which seems appropriate to leave in an area where we have only seen people at the pubs!

TFTC. Today was a travel day as we make our way from Kyogle across the border to end up in Maryborough later in the week. We had earmarked some caches to attempt providing we could park the motorhome and toad safely off the road.
We had especially earmarked this one. We have now found a letterbox cache in each month of the year. WE also now meet a challenge qualification in SA.

TFTC! What a wonderful cache. It’s always lovely to visit these caches in the country!
Can’t travel past a letterbox, a short detour was in order to collect another letterbox in my quest for them all!
An easy cache to find with the name significance. It was total quiet here this morning.. nothing moving but the washing in The G-Spot. (Not even going to ask how it got the name.) A nice big cache to fit the geocoin we've been carrying around. So...Where in the World is Signal? ........ At The G-Spot! TFTC FlutterbySquishy.

I was blessed enough to spend the weekend away, caching and camping in Texas, Stanthorpe, Girraween and Toowoomba. The weather and company were perfect. Not so the loud and obnoxious teenagers camping next door! That aside, it was a fabulous weekend.
The last day in Girraween was perhaps the hardest. I love a good hike, but Mt Norman really really pushed my limits. On the long drive home, I wasn't up for anything other than drive-by caching with low terrain ratings! This one fitted the bill quite nicely.
A lovely big cache, well themed, and well stocked. Awesome!!!

Visiting Toowoomba and finding a few caches around the area. Day 2: a big loop south taking in Wyreema, Cambooya, Nobby, Clifton and Allora as well as other areas of interest along the way.
What a great LBH, saw it from up the road and thought that must be it. Oh, and I made friends with the happiest dog ever, he just loves pats and I'm sure wanted to hop in the car and go for a drive!

Coming back from Queen Mary Falls couldn’t resist stopping on the way to look at this unusual cache.
Love the concept and the cache.

Ticking off boxes for this and that, I left home to a sprinkle and the closer I got to GZ the harder it rained until I arrived there. Arriving at GZ I was getting myself organised to make the dive out of the car when the CO popped her head out in the rain to say hi. Chat was brief thanks to all the rain falling but log was signed and all replaced. TFTC FlutterbySquishy
As we were visiting our family just down the road made it a quick find, lovely to meet the owner, took 3 TB's ... thanks for the cache

Got the notification email while I was at work today, and hoped I would be able to get to this first on the way home this afternoon, as I've missed out on the first to find by a hair, the last two lots of new caches that have come out. So very happy to get this one.
The cache container was very cool. Also met a very friendly cache guardian. He/she came up very quietly and I said hello, so he/she sat at my feet while I signed the log, and looked through the swag in the cache. Gave him/her a quick pat and was on my way.
TFTC. TNLN signed log.
