tassietan did a maintenance run today and checked on some of my caches in my absence. She reported that the cache was in bits (again).
Have decided to archive it as I'm not close by at present and can't fix it from afar.

After an early lunch at Nubeena with the bro and his friend, i decided to do my caching in reverse. {I had planned to do my planned days cache-grab on my way towards Nubeena but when the bro texted the new plan [lunch and coffee] i changed my plan to suit}.
This one was 2nd find or the day. A nice drive to this far end point which quickly changed from peace and quiet to about 200 odd people all crammed into what spots they could find at the Lime Bay Camp Ground [:o]
Everyone was well behaved and were enjoying themselves
I parked the GeoMobile at the small park closest to this hide. Walked along the track to the prickle bush where i made a swift find after "Looking" first ha ha
Nice hide and container [^]

All is in good condition with and within the cache, re-hid as found.

Prickly is an understatement lol! Have prickles from head to toe but it was worth it to find this awesome cache. Going to check out the rest of the track tomorrow! Tftc
tassietan and I did a maintenance run to check on our local caches in preparation for the busy season.
Luckily, as this cache was in a bit of disarray.
All fixed and back in good working condition.
Happy caching!!

Well this GZ certainly was prickly, between that my long hair and the wind it really would've been a sight to see, me trying to retrieve this cache. A very clever hide but I have on almost identically so it was an easy find.
Thankyou, this was also my first trip to lime Bay and the reason to visit was geicaching of course.

Didn't get it at first but took the penguins up to the end of the beach and had another look on the way back! It's always in the last place you look!
Did a maintenance run in the area with RoadieM today, so cheekily signed cache in order to get a smiley on the map. Very windy here today so had an invigorating walk along the beach to find this one. A favourite given for a very well crafted cache container and a great spot. Thanks Roadies.
Out for a maintenance run today to check on this cache and others.
Cache was not in the original spot and in some disarray. Put it back together and back in place.
PLEASE replace cache where and how you found it!

After failing to find a way to 'kelpies' we decided to head up here instead. After a picnic lunch in the campground we enjoyed the short walk along the beach to this cache. Nice camo, but watch out for the resident scorpion! TFTC!

Hi The Roadies and tassietan,
TFTC,
This week I have been camping at lime Bay on an outdoor education camp. This was a nice night walk to find with some friends.
Thanks again,

Nice easy find unlike #2. I’ll have to come back for it when there are no muggles around.
Today we decided to head to Lime Bay and finding a few caches and this was one of them. Wow what a great day we had, no wind, spot on reflections and the tide coming in. Many muggles we out and about, camping, swimming and walking. A peaceful place to visit and enjoy the views.
A great hide in a cammo container, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks The Roadies & tassietan for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We decided to head in the direction of Port Arthur for the day picking up caches that have appeared since our last visit and to get one that we have avoided for a long time! A mixture of caches, types and hides. We also managed to end up at the Lavender Farm for a lovely lunch.
An area that we haven’t been to before so we enjoyed our walk to GZ to find a nice container. Luckily we avoided the prickles, by getting down low.

We camped the night and before dark wandered off to find this cache. Clever, easy find. Cache in good condition & SL. TFTC.
Beautiful bay, gorgeous view, nice camo. Pleasant stroll along the beach to gz, cache quickly found.
NatalieC1234 and family wandered down to our place for a catch up on Boxing Day, with lunch out of the way I asked whether a spot of caching at Lime Bay might be on the menu. With two recently placed caches near the camping area to find and another two that they hadn't found it was an easy answer. It was very busy in the camping area when we arrived but NatalieC1234 found a spot to park and we wandered to this one first. Accurate coordinates at GZ allowed for the cache to be located and with the wind throwing sand at us we logged and rehid without a solitary muggle to be seen. Thanks The Roadies and tassietan for all your hides love this area.
We had sufficient time this afternoon to make our way to Lime Bay and look for the two caches. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a well designed, presented and hidden cache. It took a little effort to extract the inner container as it was a little tight. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks The Roadies & tassietan for another thoughtful cache. It earns a favourite from us.
Came with the hope to get number 1 and 2 but we only managed to get this one due to miss 2. Hope to come back and find number 2 as well.
Had a day for a run around the Pennisula. Some great caches and my target - kelpies was visited as well.

Today we decided to head down the Tasman to find a few caches that had been published since our last visit and this was one of them. It has been a while since we have been to Lime Bay camp grounds and with it being school holidays we were expecting it to be busy but no, only a few camped. We enjoyed the walk to GZ and located the cache amongst the prickles! A well constructed cache. TFTC
Our first find for the day and we were impressed by the nice construction. It was nice to visit Lime Bay again, I have lots of memories (good and not so good). One day I want to do the track all the way to Lagoon Bay - there is a cache out there I still have not found.
We had no destination in mind until about 9am when we decided that we would head down to the Peninsular after we replaced a cache for 1TOOLMAN. We knew we wouldn't have time to find everything we wanted but we reeled in a good handful and only got wet a couple of times thanks to Tassies crazy spring weather.
Thanks The Roadies

The first cache of the day, we drove to the furthest without stopping so we could make sure we got time for the far ones first, a quick and easy find without any issues, nice container too.
Thanks for the cache.
We had even less of a plan than normal today, Saturday morning and today's caching location was finally chosen as we picked up our first coffee of the day, so fix up a fellow cachers cacher and then we drove down South to find some of the new caches down the peninsula, no chance of getting them all but we'll see how we go.
Found on 26/09/2020 at 12:06:00 PM thanks to The Roadies for placing this cache for me to find.

Congratulations on another *FTF* GeoChris18! Unfortunately not the nicest day to be out and Lime Bay wouldn't have been at its best. Good on you for braving the elements!
