Took a moments break from the work day, to take a stroll along the beach in the sunshine. Wasn't planning on cache hunting today, so didn't have a pen on me (rookie error!!)Despite this, couldn't resist the urge to try and add another smilies to the collection.Quick search and the cache was soon in hand. Photo taken of log and sent to CO to verify the find. Now, back to the sunshine! TFTC
A lovely day to get out and about. Started with closest to home for the adventure lab driving journey then headed to Phillip Island to clear some more down there. Thanks for placing this cache bianchaaa39. Took me awhile but it was staring me in the face all along!Regardskbucky
We made our way along the track and then headed in hoping not to see any snakes.Luckily, we only saw one. Thanks bianchaaa39 for placing this cache here for us to find.Chiefton!!!
Easy find me sep back a bit at first.NB log is soaked, wrote on last line needs a replacement log.TFTC
After parting company with LyonsPride3 we continue our Jan 1st adventure. Found with +Wife and EveTheStaffy.
TFTC SL - spending the arvo trying to find the caches in Coronet Bay and Corinella with the geodogs Found quickly and co-ordinates were nearly spot on for me. I signed the log but it’s very fragile and the paper is like pulp
We are staying at Jam Jerrup for the weekend for a friend’s 60th birthday party. The party isn’t till tonight so we are spending the day caching …. Well …around the shocking weather that is! It was raining when we got up, then clouds and fog descended and we couldn’t see French Island anymore from the lounge-room of the holiday house. Finally it cleared so we set off and this was the next cache on the agenda. Scary cache in a pretty spot. Glad we didn’t see the real thing! lol

TFTC another wet log that needs replacing. Was a bit disintegrated. No problem with the vipers on this chilly day. Found with Jimmytherat
Found the black little sucker but couldn’t get log out as it’s a soggy mess, didn’t have any paper to replace it for you, took pic for proof but won’t post it. If you need to see let me know
Thanks Sue for another cache and for bringing me here for a walk along the beach front.

Nice easy find on a horrible weather day. People actually out kite surfing. Logbook mash & my repair kit in the car so I'd suggest co swing past. Tftc
I first walked past this cache along the trail, but I figured it was easier to reach from the beach. I had a reasonably good idea of the cache, and I was happy to be correct! Unfortunately, the log is mush and cannot be removed and signed.
Great day out. Couldn’t sign the wet very stuck log. Picture for find /
This is the first of 9caches found today.
Off to Reef island after here. Geodog enjoyed the walk. Thankfully no horses today. No real snakes today. TFTC bianchaaa39.

A very tricky but great hide! Approach from the beach side, safer than risking coming across slippery little suckers!
GPS not good today for any of these caches along this walk. Struggled to find where to look. So many places!
As hubby is working nearby and I need to occupy the kids. So after a game of Canasta and a game of Seafarers of Catan, and shopping I managed to to get the kids caching. Spotted this slippery cache once we approached from the correct direction. Thanks for the cache
We approached this one (and the rest we found in this area) from the beach back up into the scrub. The GPS was accurate but despite this we spent a while poking around carefully, looking for suspicious signs. Eventually we changed the height of our searching and there was the cache, along with its slippery little guardian!
Trying to find the correct path in took awhile with this one, then I thought I spied a likey hidey hole. I gingerly looked in only to look up to be startled by the cache guardian..was I hesitant you bet I was...I Think it took about 2 minutes for my head to process things and make my hands move lol. Well played log book signed and replaced..all without needing to touch or move the slithery ssssss....
Only geocachers and crazy people would be out in this weather. Call me crazy but I still checked with a stick before touching it. TFTC
Braving this blustery day out hunting caches with The 4WD Shed. A nice cold stroll to find this one. TFTC
Out and about exploring with Smithies Outback for the day, great spot for a walk along the cliff top tftc
The track was relatively busy but enough of a quiet spell allowed me to travel into the bushes to seek this on out.
It was cold enough for long pants so I wasn't too worried about snakes.
Made my way deeper into the growth before coming face to face with the cache.
Signed and replaced, thanks bianchaaa39

After much persistence and hoping there would be no snakes on this hot day...I found the cache nicely hidden away. Now to get some icecream!
Thanks to bianchaaa39 for this placement, a nice spot, arriving was harder than leaving, should have turned left instead of right.
All good at GZ.
Pretty windy and a bit rainy too.

This was our first attempt of a cache along this coastal trail today, but we couldn't for the life us spot the little bugger! Fortunately no slitethery things spotted here either!

Corinella to Coronet Bay, a coastal smiley cache string on our map. Today we had the opportunity to thread a few more beads!!
FP for this neat hide, worthy of a higher DR - certainly more than 1.5.
Thanks bianchaaa39 for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

As we approached GZ on the bikes, we knew where we had to go if we wanted this cache. Geowife stayed on the trail minding the bikes and I ventured in. IT took some time to get things to settle and the by chance I spotted something. A bit lucky I feel. Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks

Today I headed down to the Bass Coast to attend a celebrations event at Bass but before making my way there, I decided to have a look at this trail between Coronet Bay and Corinella.
I headed to this one first on foot before riding my bike to the rest.
I had both the GPS and my phone out for this one and they were both having a lot of trouble working out where I needed to be.
After some time which seemed forever with one pointing in one direction and the other pointing somewhere else there eventually narrowed down the area where I was to find the cache.

Perfect weather on the 1st day of 2021, really enjoyed this series and the walk along a very picturesque pathwa. Some logs signed om due to the log size.

Out about about with pprass while enjoying a day down at Cape Patterson. We needed to take a little drive to clear out these few. Parked the car and a short walk (not impressed with this beach) we were close. Again under cover you need to be flexible. We spread out and check out many options but soon had it in hand. Excellent hide in a natural way. Thanks for the cache bianchaaa39
Found at 1:26 PM in the company of xambo4u - GAFF5.
This cache was way more difficult to locate than the D rating of 1.5. So much so that we are not sure that it is hidden the way that the CO intended it to be!
We had a nice walk along the beach in the cooling breeze watching the muggles playing in the water.
Thanks bianchaaa39.

I kinda figured out what I was looking for on the way to the cache and sure enough my hunch was correct, again great camo... TFTC
A super quick find with frmen1. Good obvious hide. Needed a geocache for today (trying to fill holes in stats). TFTC
Found with tassie expat while out exploring. Off the track a little and great cammo. We enjoyed the walk. Tftc
Great hide. My gps told me I was 9m away yet rebonka was 2m. Very windy today though. Great camo easy to miss tftc
The weather was looking good , with restrictions lifted in regional Vic I headed to Corinella via the Gurdies armed with My mask and Sanitizer, I had a great day exploring the region. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches I found today. Went around in circles before I finally spotted it.
Thanks bianchaaa39 for the cache.
