Quick drive by grab by Gav after a morning diving on the wreck HMAS Hobart.Log book is a bit soggyTFTC
Made that one harder than it needed to be! The nearby road workers probably wondered why we were clambering up a random hill! TFTC
We're in a great spot to launch but we had nothing to launch unfortunately. I'm still waiting on my lotto win... Naughtybunny and I had spent the weekend at Second Valley and it was really good to go out and about looking for caches in amazing places. This one was spotted after a short search. The log book was soaked, so couldn't be written in. Did take photos as proof. TNLN. Cheers.
Found with Chookster on a weekend getaway nearby. We saw the most beautiful sunset whilst finding this one, which unfortunately was very wet.TFTF OzGrumpy
This was a great spot but I only found it because a pen lid was left on top of it
A bit slippery reaching after a recent shower of rain but quick find once we reached GZ. TFTC!
Just realized i hadn't logged this one, logging it approximately on the day i found it. Found with Mogni. We came down for a drive and find this cache. This location has changed a lot in the last 35 years. Quick find.
Bullertrout and I are now making our way towards the Coorong so that I can kayak there tomorrow. TFTC OZGrumpy#16608
Paddle Chick myself are heading to Victor Harbour area as she is going for a paddle tomorrow. Getting caches along the way
Great HideFound this after going scuba diving with the Scouts Sub Aqua groupThanks OZGrumpy for the cacheJames0116Saturday, 20 Jan 20244:18:01pm ACDT3978
Staying at Rapid Bay and the wind is horrendous so no fishing or swimming today, off to do some geocaching and look around the area. Tftc
I was expecting to need to walk a lot higher on the spur.
But that's ok, I've got lots of walking to do today to get to Blow Hole Beach and then on the Heyson.
I'll take it where it is!

Third day of our Fleurieu trip and we headed west-ish to Cape Jervis and back [^].After some lunch at Delamere , we headed over to Rapid Bay, then up to Normanville, stopping at Wirrina along the way .First time we've driven down to the marina and were interested to see the gated village here - very exposed to the elements, as seen by the conditon of the yacht club building [B)].Quickly found. TNLNSL.Tahnks OZGrumpy.
Trip today with Earthlight. A lab and various types of caches were found as we cached from Moana to Victor and back .
Thanks cache owners for placing for our enjoyment

Owl needed a long-overdue maintenance run. JJ52 had one to do as well. Joining forces was the logical conclusion. That over, they decided to find some caches. A lovely day for a drive, so they ended up in Wirrinna to work their way back. This was the first mutual find.
Doctor Owl needed to come down south for some maintenance so she picked me up, we completed the maintenance then headed down to Wirrina for one lonely cache then worked our way back stopping for a nice walk up the big gorge. A lovely sunny day, it was great to be out and about. [^]
We made our way down here and nothing much happening...took a short walk to GZ and just as we were heading up to GZ we spotted a couple of big kangaroos watching us. Luckily they stayed put while we stamped the log and left.
Thanks for the cache OZGrumpy...and not a GSM.

Broke free in a different direction for a bit of scenery and a cache or two along the way.
So much has changed out here since the cove development first opened. Some feels welcoming, some... well... maybe not! But we stayed nearby anyway. Some marine safety guy eyed us off from the ramp area - must have been disappointed we didn't have a boat to check. Found the required log, signed and moved along!!!
Sincere appreciation goes to OZGrumpy for locating and maintaining another cache on our ever growing SA geo-map

Travelling all over the countryside with Purrfect Di and Jack - searching, spotting strange items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guyess or plain old dumb luck
Plenty of that luck stuff actually !!!
*All the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course.*

Caution! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for germs and bugs !!! . [xx(]
Make Travel Bugs the Only bugs you share and pass on
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Truly fantastic of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Appreciate you reading all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, apparently! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Found this rather easy hide earlier today on my way to Wirrina Cove fishing 12/6/2022
We enjoyed a beautiful summers day driving along the South Coast grabbing a few caches here and there and enjoying lunch at the Yankalilla pub.
We grabbed the trackable and will move it along on our travels.
Many thanks for this one OZGrumpy

Nice quick and easy find after we realised that it was on the other side of the road
After visiting Second Valley on the way home i made a slight detour to pick this one up.

7 years of travelling Australia and yet we have never visited Normanville so we are here now to rectify that. Set up in the caravan park yesterday and today we headed out to explore some of the nearby area, using Geocaching as our tour guide.

That was easy. Nice location. Why doesnt the ferry come here? The cache was found the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age. Some earwigs have entered the box. I shooed them out.

Easter 2020 was supposed to see South Australia Geocaching hosting the next Easter big MEGA event, GeoVenture 2020 at Millicent. GC82DAN. Due to COVID restrictions the event is now postponed to early October 2021. Check out the event page and our website for new details. We would love to see you at this four day event. Mega event sponsored by Wattle Range Council, Geocaching.com and many other supporters. Lots of caches to find with two classic geo art trails including the famous animated bottle and glass.

On way back to camp we detoured here for a quick find.
My parents had shares in Wirrina Resort, but it was never finished!
And still isn't 50 years later!

Actually it was a great spot to land! Today I kayaked from Cape Jervis to Wirinna with a group of 14, and after landing found the cache and signed the log. This stretch of coastline is stunning, huge cliffs, sealions, white breasted sea eagles and secluded beaches.
10/10/2020. With such a cool date I had to find a cache today. Just this one. Took AstroWes for a drive to a spot he’d been to what seems like a hundred years ago! He wanted a look. A few nice boats here.
Thanks OZGrumpy and clear skies from TeamAstro. ️ Cache the planet!
