Second DNF on this track

Two of us looked for a while but no joy here today

No luck for me either. Invested a good 15 minutes at least here so I think I should log a DNF.

After a week in Blenheim playing indoor bowls 2 muggles and I spent an extra week enjoying some of the sights. They allowed and assisted me find some caches in the areas we visited.
We spent a few hours enjoying the history of this area. Able to grab the caches as they read the information boards.
2 nights in Westport and now Hokitika. After finding a motel we headed out to walk the gorge. Enjoyed the walk and the beautiful water colour. Another quick find here. Thank you for the placement.

Back in hokitika for my 2nd annual queens birthday weekend caching mission....
Another visit to the gorge as this section wasnt here last year...going clockwise round so didnt see the obvious camo to start with ...cache all good tftc

5th .. Over visiting this wonderful place for the south island ultra run tomorrow, was told the Gorge was a stunning walk.. and did not disappoint. Saw the geocaches on the map and couldn't resist. Tftc.

Arrived early and went for a great walk around the Hokitika Gorge. Nobody in carpark when we arrived (it was almost full by the time we did the loop). Thanks for the cache.

Knocked out the walk and enjoyed it all. Was busy but it is a long weekend

4Clubs and I were having a bit of trouble with this one - when suddenly two people turned up and said there it is and went straight to it and passed it to us!! Ha ha that's an easy find for us. The couple didn't want to log their find, they were just happy to have found it, so we put our names in the log book and happy went on our way. TFTC and thanks to the two who helped us as well

Just glorious isn't it! We went early so we could do our geocaching in peace and it was a good ploy, because as we were coming out the carpark was filling up fast. Took a bit to find, but we're loving it. Cache is all good. TFTC

Picked up the trackables to move on. This wasn't a quick find til I spotted a lesser culvert! Lovely walk. Thanks for the cache.

GPS jumped alot here for me and tried to use hint but there was a couple of them where gps jumped. I also had a Robin very keen I stay on the track and out of his forest.

Logging for the record. I was with the CO when this was placed.
Dropped TB.

Drop TB on maintenance run.

Visiting from Nelson for a few days, primarily to do the Tree Walk.
Great scenery here at the gorge, and an awesome loop walk, with plenty of caches to make it even more interesting.

Headed out for a visit to Hokitika Gorge today, before flying back to Auckland later this afternoon. The weather had been a bit dodgy today, but thankfully no showers came through as I did the lovely loop walk here. A quick find here. TFTC!

I found this cache while on a family holiday to the South Island. We had an amazing time covering more than 3000km and seeing some of the very best our country has to offer. We were very fortunate with the weather and enjoyed a wide range of experiences.

This took way longer to find than it should have we walked back and forward for ages before spotting it.

Found on 9/01/2021.

Doing a big loop around the South Island with the Kayaks. Grabbing a few caches along the way.

Moving rather fast through this now with the rain getting harder and steadier, Finally made the grab with a fair bit of searching made a lot harder by not having gps properly loaded! TFTC

This was found in the pouring rain - we were trying to move fast and overshot - I went back and just about gave up when I spotted somewhere to try and ended up with a cache log signed - thanks for the cache

Yay! FTF As my Uncle William is visiting this weekend the extended family came out here for a walk even though it was already spitting when we left the weather didnt deter us. 11 of us in total. The tail end of our group who was lagging abit behind to geocache was now keeping score as who found the cache but it was me that made the quick find here this time. Score: Mum 1, Grace 1, Ben 2. Thanks for placing this cache and adding to our smilies today
