Its the last day of summer and a hot and humid one to boot. Its not often you get to log caches on February 29 so i thought id head out this way to pick up a few. A nice easy find. I ended up walking up through the bush to get to this one from Brampton Dr which was the difficult way to get to it. Thanks. #1764

This is the first of two finds for the day. Keen to claim our International Geocaching Day souvenir, blackdiamondrun and I needed to visit Beaumont Hills for some shopping and afterwards, looked for a nearby cache. This one popped up on the map and we managed to find our way, and parked as close as possible to GZ. I could see the obvious hiding place from the road but in my haste to reach GZ, I mis stepped and scraped the side of my knee on a large fallen branch. Fortunately, I was wearing jeans but it still stung. After walking a few more steps, I located the cache. SLTNLN. TFTC.

We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect some of the new Puzzle, Wherigo, and Letterbox caches, and a new Adventure Lab, that have appeared around Warragamba since our last visit to the area. Will also be returning to the lower Blue Mountains for a couple of new Adventure Labs and a challenge cache, and revisiting a few DNFs from the previous trip, mostly NE of Penrith. Photos will be uploaded to some logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 3) we were caching in the lower Blue Mountains, then around St Mary's, and finally at Beaumont Hills & North Kellyville on our way back home. This was our 21st of 23 finds for the day (day 3), and 52nd find of the holiday.
Stopped off at this one, after taking a stroll along the Smalls Creek walkway. Quickly uncovered the hide and had CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC _Kade_

Found it! Was very quick and easy but then again not many places you can hide such a large cache. TFTC - Mr Moocoo
Parked up on a narrow street and walked over to GZ, bushbashing across rubbish and vegetation.
I hopped over the creek, and landed on the “bank” on the other side…. Except it was just marsh and my foot sunk into the smelly water .
Following the GZ, it wasn’t even ON THAT SIDE.
at Gz I found the cache kind of in the open. Signed log and replaced. TFTC!

On a bright, sunny August day, I figured it would be great to go on a leisurely afternoon bike ride along the beautiful Smalls Creek cycleway (before magpie swooping season starts) and find some geocaches! Starting from the north end and making my way south towards Samantha Riley Drive, this was the fourth find of the day, from the path I noted that I was on the wrong side of the "ditch" so had to continue north a little way and back-track to GZ. Easy find and quite a bold hide, surprising that it hasn't been muggled! Great first hide! Might I suggest that a plastic waterproof container might be safer than a glass one it case it is accidentally dropped or damaged? SL and replaced as found. TFTC _Kade_!
Unfortunately i couldnt find this one because the (SPOILERS)
The stump that i think they were referring to was covered in lots of webs, and branches blocking it. It was also near a lot of private property so it felt a bit weird for me to be there. Beautiful walk though!

The cache was quickly found even though I approached from the less ideal side. One muddy shoe later CIH. TFTC

I was on a mission today to score more points that would enable me to complete the Denali Summit souvenir for the Reach the Peak promotion.
Easy find in the obvious spot. Thanks for the geo-fun.
