Deciding on a solo run over to Coochiemudlo today to grab all the caches on the island, it turned out to be a pretty good day for it, apart from the humidity.Quick find.I found your cache, Teddy Bears Picnic today.TheSherie, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF

We had a free day, so it was time to take the ferry and enjoy a day of geocaching on Coochimudlo Island with Legend and Sniggypop.

TFTC - loving this series

Today I took the short ferry ride across to Coockiemudlo Island where I collected 10 caches and 2 earthcaches. The hide was located however the log is wet making it hard to sign without ripping. I managed to make my mark but a new log in a new dry bag would help. The container was returned as found. TFTC

We're back on lovelyCoochie for a visit and to find a few more caches.We've had a great day with getting 9 out of 9 here today. We had both been looking within a metre or so but obviously not using our eyes. I had a great day out today riding around Coochiemudlo Is with elina_maree and TevlaGaming. Despite a few hiccups along the way we were very proud to find 18/18 caches.We approached from below and although it was steep ground, the cache was quick to find. Thanks for another great cache The Sherie!

This one was more difficult to get to than the actual hide would suggest approaching from the top.

Was out scouting places for a couple of new caches we have planned and decided to check this one whilst in the vicinity. Log dry but container full of water.
Have taken the container home to dry out and reassemble but have left the log in its zip log bag at GZ so it remains in play.

Lovely little cache! Glad that it was a coloured container, otherwise I'd have missed it! TFTC .

Visiting a friend for a few days and we decided to catch the ferry over to this little island with the intriguing name that just seems to roll off your tongue. We stepped off the ferry and were immediately blown away by the beauty of the place. Started up the wrong track at first but quickly figured out where we needed to be. Very mindful of unwanted visitors in the light scrub. TFTC

Found cache and signed log. Cache full of water and log soaking. Peppa to the rescue, with a dry log and new bag. You are awesome Peppa. Out with patrol14 and Peppa. Beautiful day for finding a cache or two. We have a list and we will follow it . TFTC.

Out for the day with Patrol14 and TMZ59… We had some back and forth trying to decide where to come today, and after dismissing Stanthorpe as really to far, Patrol14 suggested Coochiemudlo… so here we are… Only on the way over, did we find out Patrol14 has found everything out here…

Another bespoke container that I would have liked to have seen in its prime… water had gained entry and the log was mush, so we replaced the log and double bagged it… tftc…

As I’m approaching GZ a large random dog ran out of the bush towards me! It always takes a second or so to see if you’re dealing with a friendly one or a not so friendly one. Lucky this one was friendly haha. Now where is this cache.. found it but unfortunately the container isn’t doing to well in keeping the inside dry. I managed to add my name to the log though. Thanks for the cache.

Ewwwww lots of big spiders chilling around here!! Came from the bottom and stopped right at the cache with out noticing but spotted it straight away after checking out the top level and slipping back down

Out today with Green Geckos and Muggle65. Coochiemudlo was our location of caching today. It had been on my target list for awhile. We caught the barge to take our bicycles over.
Excellent weather for our caching day. We found 17 caches. 14 traditional and 3 earthcache.
One cache we tried to give a smiley had two groups having a picnic at GZ, so we gave up on it.

Attended an Event on Coochie today so why not find all the available caches with a group of geo-friends. It didn't take long before we had this cache in hand. Signed the log and replaced as found. TFTC

Today, it was a fun-filled day with the morning consisting of a visit to Coochiemudlo Island, and in the afternoon, georode and I went tree fishing and completed a few field puzzles targeting the oldie *IQ* series.
Following my attendance at Cleveland parkrun, I joined a few fellow Geocachers with a ferry over to the island, taking our bikes to sightsee around. It was an enjoyable event and cycle around seeing a few quirky houses and pleasant scenery at the bay's edge.
In the afternoon, a small group completed a few geocaches in Victoria Point, before georode and I headed to Alexandra Hills. That particular tree fishing geocache cluster took longer than anticipated, and we closed out the day with a visit to Minnippi Wetlands.

This was another geocache that our group, chamad, georode, Orange Crew and I, rode our bikes to on our island tour ride. After a short search from our merry group, we deduced that today was the day that the teddy bears had their picnic! The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks TheSherie MmmmKay for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

After attending the beaut Event on this nice island, a group of us joined forces and made our way around finding some very interesting caches.

Coochie! A great little Island. We took the GEOvehicle over to get around due to my knee, and that worked well.

Over on Coochie today for a catch up event, I took the bike over on the barge with a few others. Seems we are a little early so it’s a couple of caches before the event. Last time I was here it was just systemia containers and mint tins and a lot of those have gone and been archived now. So it’s a new set of caches on the island and all being done by bike today.

After the event it seemed we all split into groups and went to search the island for caches. This one was our next and an easy find, the track to the side was an easy option.
With the log signed and cache replaced as found we were onto the next. Thanks for placing this one here.

After an event on the island earlier, we all split up into various groups and went to find the Coochie caches.

We went up before realising the lower track would take us closer. No trouble locating this one today, all in good shape.
