With caching being a little quiet for us over the last few weeks due to life commitments I decided it was time to nab some after work. I finished a little earlier then anticipated and with a few hours up my sleeve I thought Id get cracking at the Running ManI never actually realised this area was bush land so that took me by surprise, I guess its always a pleasant experience to wander around somewhere new, and I really enjoyed walking the trails, it brought back some memories from my old caching days.Quick find here after a brief search. Thanks for bringing me here.____________________________________Something big is coming to the Sunny Coast on the 5th October 2025.Head to GCARTY0 to see all about the Sunshine Coast Beach Party event.#4464 - TFTC
After finishing work in the neighbourhood I decided to grab these caches. Caches found and signed.RoddyC thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
After a last minute change of plans yesterday, , headed out west today to try and do the whole Running Man geoart series. I had solved the majority of these before leaving NZ, but did need a nudge from the CO after arriving in Oz, to get me on the right track for the remaining few.A pleasantly warm winter day today with 33 degrees, , so my initial plans from weeks ago of walking a route to get as many as possible were scrapped and driving as close as possible was now the order of the day.A nice quick find here, with the beacon lid on the container very helpful. I wish more tree climbs were like this, with easy access into the tree, and plenty of good foot and hand holds to reach the container. TFTC
Out for a morning with Gunnie 69. He had done most of the solving on this series. Most were found quickly, and some had us stumped!Apologies for the generic logs, been a little slack in logging! TFTC RoddyC
I stayed up late to complete this jigsaw last night because I needed to find a tree climb today. Looks like I wasn't the only one that needed that attribute. G69 and NJ must have been here just before me this morning. Nice easy cache to find. Thanks RoddyC!
As the cache page indicated, I was all ready for a tree climb on arrival at GZ. As it turned out, that was just a ruse and there was no elevation required at all to extract the container. A careful approach to GZ fo NurseyJulie and I, cautious of the terrain and recent rains. Thankfully we kept dry feet and at GZ the container was very quickly spotted. The log was extracted, our names added to the list and everything returned as found.Cheers RoddyC.
Nice climb for this one. Ground cover is quite tall after recent rains and no human maintenance. Thanks for the cache and
Thanks for the placement and smiley. A cache for winter when the grass is not many times higher than the climb.
Id forgotten all about this series all the way over this side of town. Our today to clean up a couple more needed.
Great day with DisSister and Muggle65 today. Beautiful day and a very enjoyable stroll. Thank you for a fun series Replaced this one.
A plan was hatched to go for a walk and collect all the caches in this well laid out geoart today. We had great weather conditions and enjoyed our exploration of the reserve and surrounds as we hunted. All caches found safe, some proving more challenging to both find and solve than others. Thanks RoddyC
The main objective for our stay in Brisbane was to complete the 'Running Man'Worked our way through the puzzles conversing with the helpful CO along the way...Mrs poolpool come thru with the solveToday was the day with the CO and hatzofff in attendance we drove, e-scootered, walked our way along the well defined pathways signing the logs and performing maintenance as required...Quick find here today, TFTC RoddyC
This is another that's been solved and just waiting for us to get back out this way to find.
All well with this cache. Log signed and cache waiting for the next finder.
Thanks for the cache RoddyC.

Tftc RoddyC, a kangaroo was playing cache guardian here. Nice quick find meant we were soon out of his way
Today, I spent the day with georode in the Logan LGA area for a number of recreational activities: a paddle, a run (Running Man), fishing (for caches), and finding a few challenges.
The morning's rain was relentless as we questioned our sanity to geocache, but during our walk in Boronia Bushland Reserve, the rain subsided, and we started to enjoy our finds. The day commenced with a short kayak session in Scrubby Creek, followed by the completion of the *Running Man* geoart. A few extra Boronia Heights geocaches were found as we travelled around the area, and then made the detour to Logan Gardens Water park for a couple of strategic reverse Wherigo TOTT caches. The day was finished with a visit to Burbank Bushland for a couple of laughable challenges.
Although I'm not the biggest fan of Jididi puzzles, at least I knew what to do with this puzzle in order to get my hands on the GZ coordinates.
Georode and I found this cache during our walk in the area, and the rainy clouds were playing havoc on our GPS devices, bouncing around in amongst the trees. After a short search, we located this cache. I enjoyed the climb up in order to reach the cache, even though I was shaking the tree and all its droplets were falling on georode and I. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although I did have some trouble in extracting the logbook (dang restricted nozzles). Thanks RoddyC for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Out for a daytrip in this area with Davidwazza for some caching.
This geoart was one of the main targets for the day. The puzzles were solved over the last year, although for some of them I needed strong hints to get to the solution. All in all a great mix of puzzles and a nice area for hides.
More (mostly unimportant) information can be found in my caching friends comprehensive log
Thanks for the geocache

I've met up with joojoo57 and Richmond Lad for some puzzle solving, but first there will be some cache gathering [^] Our targets are a few more from this series. Pleased to say there were no failures. TFTC, RoddyC .
Out and about caching and doing some of the Running Man caches along with joojoo57 and IolantheK. Weather was perfect! Found the caches in their various locations and signed the log. TFTC RoddyC
Out to find a few of the Running Man series before it gets a bit warmer today. All the ones we had on our list were found and all in good condition. Thanks RoddyC for the series.
Over on the southside for some caching therapy and to visit some friends. Fathers day is hard for those that have recently lost a Dad and I guess it is also hard for those dad’s that have just lost a family.
Out with the Triple Turmoil’s for a late afternoon drive, to grab some caches and to brighten up everyone’s day. What a lot of fun we had chasing some of the running man series. Solving the puzzles turned out to be a joint effort as there were a couple I had missing and a couple Mischa had missing. A nice exchange of ideas and away we went. We found all our target caches today, signed the logs and replaced the caches as we found. A nice series and some nice hides thank you for the hides and the puzzles. We will be back to finish off the series.

With Chamad in the area it is easy to make a quick decision to go caching. So we ran to these, ran through them. Well, at least the ones that were solved. We have a few to go yet. Maybe slow and steady wins the race....

Sunday. We eventually spotted the cache here. We were looking all round here as there were quite a few options. Pays to look up and down! Thankfully, we had Que Sera’s tott which we brought with us.
This was the 11th of 26 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***RoddyC*** for showing us this place

Mrs Slow Puncture and i decided to meet up with our push bikes and find some caches around here. All up we found 28 caches and 1 DNF over a 4 hour bike ride . My geo work friend and i had so much fun solving these puzzles . This puzzle i did at home. I love jigsaws and always have on on the go. Doing a barbed wire one at the moment. There was teamwork involved in finding this cache. Thanks for all the fun
I had been to this cache previously and spotted it but I needed my TOTT and there was a muggle watching me so I had left it for another day.
Today, I returned with my TOTT and soon had my name in the log.

Out for a day of caching with KerriMG and we decided to go south and collect some solved puzzles.
Time to complete puzzle

At GZ I suggested KerriMG go for the grab as her arms are longer than mine. But in the end it was me that made the grab

I don’t mind the odd jigsaw…
The highlight of this cache was the mob of kangaroos I disturbed while walking down from the last puzzle… they didn’t seem at all worried about the local hound that is still carrying on…
Tftc…managed to lever myself into position…

Very fortunate enough to have been invited by the CO to assist with the beta testing and cache placements of this terrific Running Man geo art series of interesting puzzles. Since then I have been slowly trying to solve each one but as in most cases with there being unique puzzles, of course I've had to resort to several PAF's.
Love jigsaws and an easy tree climb to go with it.

Out on the southside picking up a few target caches, in particular the Oxley series and Runner geoart, with lots of others grabbed along the way.
No problems locating the cache but needed to climb the tree a second time after dropping the lid.
Find #11088 @ 11:15
Thanks RoddyC for giving us a reason to visit.

Ahhhh, the Ankh on a hot summers day. Nothing in the world compares to that smell.
Good teamwork here. Bit smelly of diesel at gz. Maybe a controlled burning is imminent.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here RoddyC.

More confusion reigned here. We arrived at GZ thinking this was a different cache but it turned out to be this one which I had listed at the GZ of the last one. While trying to sort that out, CaptainVimes spotted it above my head. Thanks for the cache
Found while having an impromptu caching day with swearah. Nice little tree climb and it was within arms reach

A nice jigsaw for a cache reward? Sweet - I’m in!
At GZ today, we read the hint and attributes on the way in. You’re up, jodsta83!
She made super quick work of the climb as always and passed the log down so I could participate by signing our names.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache, RoddyC. Loving the series!

Well this little series of caches certainly has my head spinning. Not just from trying to solve the various puzzle but from trying to work out exactly which cache it is I have found . Luckily I am a little behind in my logging, as it was only in the midst of preparing to log that I noticed I had 2 solved caches now sitting on the same location on my map. Although the original version of the other puzzle got me to GZ to sign the logbook of the cache here, I was hugely glad that it was that puzzle I had to re-solve following a change, and not redo this 300 piece jigsaw puzzle. Whew!
Notifications for these caches began coming through as we arrived back at homebase after attending the nearby Mega & knowing so many intrepid cachers were tied up at Dayboro we decided to have a crack at solving a couple.

Joint find with imkyra @ 8.07ish am
Mr VC gets the job done with this type of puzzle & no exception here.
After a successful raid south on these caches we had returned to homebase for the night & thought we'd take a look at the remaining three of those published so far.
Next thing we knew imkyra messaged that they had solved two more so it was on … who would close the deal on the last one? [?]
Fast forward about 9 hours & after picking up a smilie nearby we called in to once more join imkyra before setting forth again into the drizzling rain.
Gotta love caching!
We had been informed by imkyra that they had failed to secure a find here last night so we advised they wait until this morning & we would hit the battle zone with all guns blazing ... well GZ with all minds firing at the very least!
After plodding back & forth amongst the wet grass, flood debris, spiders & such we actually considered calling the search off until a conversation sparked up about several minor 'discrepancies' with this series so far.
A specific type of tree, mentioned on an earlier cache page yet nowhere to be seen on that occasion, was noted to be almost 'on' GZ & the activity linked to said tree, which could NOT be performed earlier due to said tree's absence, was now a distinct possiblity.
Confused?[?]
We certainly were until 'ra' called out "Found it!"
Well there was definitely NOTHING at BOT - SPOS here, that's for sure.
We're guessing that hint may be useful at a cache yet to be published? [?]
Made our mark & replaced as found.
TFTC RoddyC

*(At GZ the cache was Within Arm's Reach certainly but the Additional Hint had us a little stumped.* *Perhaps the hint belongs elsewhere? [?]* *Like ... to another cache perhaps? [?])*
