With caching being a little quiet for us over the last few weeks due to life commitments I decided it was time to nab some after work. I finished a little earlier then anticipated and with a few hours up my sleeve I thought Id get cracking at the Running ManI never actually realised this area was bush land so that took me by surprise, I guess its always a pleasant experience to wander around somewhere new, and I really enjoyed walking the trails, it brought back some memories from my old caching days.Quick find here after a brief search. Thanks for bringing me here.____________________________________Something big is coming to the Sunny Coast on the 5th October 2025.Head to GCARTY0 to see all about the Sunshine Coast Beach Party event.#4463 - TFTC
After finishing work in the neighbourhood I decided to grab these caches. Caches found and signed.RoddyC thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
After a last minute change of plans yesterday, , headed out west today to try and do the whole Running Man geoart series. I had solved the majority of these before leaving NZ, but did need a nudge from the CO after arriving in Oz, to get me on the right track for the remaining few.A pleasantly warm winter day today with 33 degrees, , so my initial plans from weeks ago of walking a route to get as many as possible were scrapped and driving as close as possible was now the order of the day.A nice quick find here, despite not seeing the hint beacon. TFTC
A little bit of guestimation was used to solve this puzzle. Today I was chasing a few specific attributes but picking up a others along the way. Another nice easy find here. Cache was surprisingly dry given it's location. These containers seem to make pretty good caches. Thanks for another interesting puzzle and cache RoddyC!
Thanks for the placement and smiley. This cache offers the thrill of white kangaroo poo on the footpaths for those that miss the decaying dog droppings of yester year.
forgotten all about this series all the way over this side of town. Out today to clean up a couple more needed.
Great day with DisSister and Muggle65 today. Beautiful day and a very enjoyable stroll. Thank you for a fun series
A plan was hatched to go for a walk and collect all the caches in this well laid out geoart today. We had great weather conditions and enjoyed our exploration of the reserve and surrounds as we hunted. All caches found safe, some proving more challenging to both find and solve than others. Thanks RoddyC
The main objective for our stay in Brisbane was to complete the 'Running Man'Worked our way through the puzzles conversing with the helpful CO along the way...What a bottler, Mrs poolpool made the solveToday was the day with the CO and hatzofff in attendance we drove, e-scootered, walked our way along the well defined pathways signing the logs and performing maintenance as required...Quick find here today, TFTC RoddyC

Today, I spent the day with georode in the Logan LGA area for a number of recreational activities: a paddle, a run (Running Man), fishing (for caches), and finding a few challenges.
The morning's rain was relentless as we questioned our sanity to geocache, but during our walk in Boronia Bushland Reserve, the rain subsided, and we started to enjoy our finds. The day commenced with a short kayak session in Scrubby Creek, followed by the completion of the *Running Man* geoart. A few extra Boronia Heights geocaches were found as we travelled around the area, and then made the detour to Logan Gardens Water park for a couple of strategic reverse Wherigo TOTT caches. The day was finished with a visit to Burbank Bushland for a couple of laughable challenges.
Whilst wandering the area, we saw a mob of kangaroos that were quietly enjoying their early lunch, which was pretty cool. Georode and I found this cache during our walk in the area, and the rainy clouds were playing havoc on our GPS devices, bouncing around in amongst the trees. After a short search, we located this cache, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape, although the logbook is starting to look a little tattery. Thanks RoddyC for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Out for a daytrip in this area with Davidwazza for some caching.
This geoart was one of the main targets for the day. The puzzles were solved over the last year, although for some of them I needed strong hints to get to the solution. All in all a great mix of puzzles and a nice area for hides.
More (mostly unimportant) information can be found in my caching friends comprehensive log
Thanks for the geocache

I've met up with joojoo57 and Richmond Lad for some puzzle solving, but first there will be some cache gathering [^] Our targets are a few more from this series. Pleased to say there were no failures. TFTC, RoddyC .
Out and about caching and doing some of the Running Man caches along with joojoo57 and IolantheK. Weather was perfect! Found the caches in their various locations and signed the log. TFTC RoddyC
Out to find a few of the Running Man series before it gets a bit warmer today. All the ones we had on our list were found and all in good condition. Thanks RoddyC for the series.
Over on the southside for some caching therapy and to visit some friends. Fathers day is hard for those that have recently lost a Dad and I guess it is also hard for those dad’s that have just lost a family.
Out with the Triple Turmoil’s for a late afternoon drive, to grab some caches and to brighten up everyone’s day. What a lot of fun we had chasing some of the running man series. Solving the puzzles turned out to be a joint effort as there were a couple I had missing and a couple Mischa had missing. A nice exchange of ideas and away we went. We found all our target caches today, signed the logs and replaced the caches as we found. A nice series and some nice hides thank you for the hides and the puzzles. We will be back to finish off the series.

With Chamad in the area it was easy to make a quick decision to go caching. So we ran to these, ran through them. Well, at least the ones that were solved. We have a few to go yet. Maybe slow and steady wins the race....

Sunday. Que Sera and I saw a large pod of Kangaroos here! So lovely to see. Mums and a couple of possibly dads and a few little joeys. Nice little hide here. I can imagine this might get a wee bit overgrown in the right conditions.
This was the 14th of 26 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***RoddyC*** for showing us this place

Mrs Slow Puncture and i decided to meet up with our push bikes and find some caches around here. All up we found 28 caches and 1 DNF over a 4 hour bike ride . My geo work friend and i had so much fun solving these puzzles . It was my geo work friend who managed to figure out this one. At GZ it was not long until we spotted the hide. Thanks for all the fun
It was only a short walk from where I parked and then I headed into the long grass and soon found the cache. I signed the log accompanied by the sound of the nearby pool pump.

Out for the day with nikid1 & the Running Man series was our target for the day. I think I must have been drinking some of the bubbles in those green bottles whilst I was trying to solve this one as the checker took some convincing to agree with me but eventually it did. No trouble finding the cache at GZ.
Thanks for the puzzle & cache RoddyC

Out for a day of caching with KerriMG and we decided to go south and collect some solved puzzles.
Oh my did I have trouble with this puzzle. The problem was that I printed it out and then it got changed slightly. I didn’t realise this and the checker and I were not friends for quite some time. I told another of my frustrations and when they said they were doing as I was I tried again on the web page and had the answer in no time.
Yippee. Luckily at GZ it was a quick find by KerriMG and I.

Wow!
Swings & roundabouts!
A quick solve & I think we were FTF on version 1 which turned out to be another cache altogether so it had to go to the video ref for a decision.
We ran away from all the initial confusion but came back today having solved version 2.
Either way we have another smilie! LOL ...
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Very fortunate enough to have been invited by the CO to assist with the beta testing and cache placements of this terrific Running Man geo art series of interesting puzzles. Since then I have been slowly trying to solve each one but as in most cases with there being unique puzzles, of course I've had to resort to several PAF's.
It's funny when a simple line from a song can get stuck in your head for ages like this title. Great simple fun puzzle to do and good hide with natural camo.

We enjoyed the event which had been postponed previously and was now a big cause for celebration. Sadly Mrs Domsky wasn’t with us today as she was working and so E_Smiley and myself had formed a team to make our way through this series.
Found this one with Karicka!

I really can't understand how I ended up with the wrong coords for this. Has the puzzle changed since I solved it? Or did I just put the corrds on the wrong puzzle? Who knows but it caused me no end of stress and I had to re-solve this one in the field. Thankfully, it wasn't too tricky and we found the container straight away at the calculated GZ. Thanks for the cache
Running Man #21 was one of the first puzzles in this series we solved. My grandson was looking over my shoulder and told me one of my numbers was wrong. He proceeded to explain why. He was absolutely rightThanks Remy.
Today we stopped in here to claim the smiley. We needed to carefully skirt around the water that was laying around.
Practising cito actually found the cache for us here. Geofriend threw a can that she intended picking up on her way out which just happened to land a few centimeters from the cache. I saw the can and then the cache. This was one for the books

I had a couple of cracks at this puzzle. I’d had the green light at one point and then there was some confusion with another set of coords so I sat back and waited for a bit. It would be worked out soon enough, and I have a few green bottles of my own to keep me occupied until then
Luckily when I came back to try again, there were still some green bottles left (ya never know with me!) and all was good.
At GZ today, jodsta83 was way ahead of me. I’m SUCH a granny parking the car . I followed her in and she made the find nicely.
I liked this puzzle a lot. Not sure if it’s just because it’s a bit different or because of the content hehe.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache, RoddyC

Well the post publication tweaks and changes to the various puzzles in this series have certainly caused some confusion.
I solved the original version of this puzzle not long after publication which gave me some coordinates for GZ. On the 11/4/21 I headed off to GZ to find the cache, and duly found a container and logbook at the coordinates, although the hiding location didn't match the hint.
Luckily I was a little behind in my logging as it was only a couple of days ago that I noticed another puzzle that I had only recently solved was also situated at those coordinates. Hmmmm. I quick retest of each checker revealed that the logbook that I had signed was actually GC91BZW (which now matched the GZ hint), so I logged my find on that cache instead. That meant I had to resolve this puzzle, but I remembered how I had done it so didn't take too long to get a green tick on the checker.
Heading back out today to pick up some more of my solves in the series I headed off to the new GZ for this cache. Ah the hint on this one now makes sense too . Cache was quickly found and I opened the logbook to reveal.......a completely blank logbook! (see photo)
It would appear that those currently claiming the **FTF** here are subject to the same confusion I was originally.
My head is still spinning trying to work this all out. Off for a Bex and a good lie down. TFTC
